Idea #1: Decorating windows with toothpaste

Toothpaste can be used to decorate not only windows, but also mirrors in the house.

The older generation remembers very well that during periods of Soviet shortages, toothpaste was the main tool for creating New Year's decor. It was used to paint not only apartment windows, but also the windows of schools or kindergartens, involving children in this fascinating process. It is worth noting that toothpaste is a universal artistic material that allows you to create several types of painting at once - both ornamental and negative.

In the second type of painting, the design is similar to the image of a photographic film, that is, it is the dark, unpainted places that become the accent. By the way, this is the simplest type of painting that even a child can easily handle. Be sure to involve kids in the creation process fairy tale pictures on the windows! Another positive point is that after the celebrations are over, you can easily clean the windows from the pattern by simply wiping the glass with a wet cloth. Before you get started, you need to prepare:

  • foam sponge or old toothbrush;
  • a piece of adhesive tape;
  • a bowl;
  • water;
  • scissors;
  • a cloth;
  • pencil;
  • paper.

Procedure

Step-by-step instructions for decorating a window with toothpaste
  • 1. Download several of your favorite New Year’s themes from the Internet. These could be Christmas bells, snowflakes, reindeer, penguins, Christmas trees or Santa Clauses. Print the designs on paper and cut out using scissors. It is better to first prepare stencils with small details by shading with a pencil the places that need to be cut out, so as not to make mistakes in the process.
  • 2. Wet the template with water, immersing it in a bowl for just a couple of minutes. You can also place the template on a flat surface and walk over it with a wet sponge.
  • 3. Stick the template to the selected location on the window glass.
  • 4. Gently blot the paper with dry flannel.
  • 5. Squeeze into a bowl toothpaste and dilute with water until there is liquid sour cream.
  • 6. Take a toothbrush, dip it in the paste, shake it off a little and, running your finger along the bristles, spray the mixture onto the window where the stencil is glued. When the paste evenly covers the window, peel off the paper. The drawing is ready! You can also use a piece for this purpose foam sponge– soak it in the paste, shake off excess moisture, and then lightly press it onto the glass around the stencil.

If you have at least minimal artistic skills, you can paint the window by hand, but for this purpose you will first have to make yourself a brush. To do this, twist the foam rubber into a tube and wrap it with a piece of tape. It’s better to make a couple of brushes with different diameters to paint both large and small details. Squeeze the paste onto a plate, dip the brush and draw fir branches, snowmen, Christmas tree balls and streamers.

When the paste has dried, take an orange manicure stick or toothpick and scratch small details - dots or stars on balls, eyes on snowmen or needles on spruce paws. Using the same principle, you can create window paintings drawn gouache paints or artificial snow from a can.

Idea No. 2: Snowflake stickers

Children will like handmade snowflakes much more than store-bought ones!

A snowy winter with soft fluffy snowdrifts is the dream of most children and adults. After all, it’s so nice to go sledding, build a snowman, have a snow fight, or go for a walk in the forest! Unfortunately, not every New Year brings us snow, and slush spoils the entire holiday experience. However, you can create a snow whirlwind at home. To do this, you need to decorate the windows with unusual stickers made from PVA glue.

Who would have thought that extraordinary decor could be created from such a simple material? During the day, while it is light outside, the snowflakes seem almost transparent and do not interfere with the view. But in the evening, when it falls on the window Moonlight or the rays of lanterns, it sparkles like real frost! By the way, this decoration can last for more than one year - just carefully remove the snowflakes, line them with paper, put them in a box and send them to a dry place until the next New Year. To make snowflakes you need to have:

  • paper or ready-made cardboard or plastic stencils;
  • strong film or paper files;
  • a jar of PVA glue;
  • medical syringe (no needle required);
  • brush;
  • glitter (you can use those used for manicure).

Procedure

Step-by-step instructions for creating and decorating snowflakes
  • 1. Place the stencil inside a plastic file or place it between layers of film. If you don't have a ready-made stencil, choose one to suit your taste, print them on paper and place them in a file.
  • 2. Trace the stencil lines with adhesive mass, squeezing it out of a medical syringe in a thick layer. Correct the drawing with a brush. Important: do not get carried away with making openwork snowflakes! Small details will most likely simply merge into the overall mass, so choose patterns with simple lines and large curls.
  • 3. Carefully move the stencil to a windowsill or other place located near heating appliances. Let the drawings dry a little. When the glue becomes transparent, but not completely dry, remove the frozen snowflakes from the film and glue it to the window.
  • 4. For making shiny multi-colored snowflakes repeat all the manufacturing steps, only sprinkle the workpiece with multi-colored sparkles before sending it to dry.

Idea No. 3: Vytynanka for windows

Idea No. 9: Compositions from pine needles

can be made from many natural materials!

Traditional decor cannot do without compositions of fragrant pine needles, which fill the house with an incredible aroma. The easiest option is to make small wreaths and hang them on the windows using bright satin ribbons. To make this decoration you need to prepare:

  • spruce branches (you can supplement them with thuja or juniper branches);
  • heat gun;
  • wire (thick and thin);
  • viburnum branches;
  • New Year's balls;
  • beads

Procedure

An example of minimalist window design using pine needles
  • 1. Take two pieces of thick wire and bend them so that you get rings of different diameters (the difference should be about 3-4 centimeters).
  • 2. Wind the rings diagonally with thin wire to make the frame of the future wreath. Make a fastener from a long piece of tape.
  • 3. Separate the branches into bunches and attach them to the wreath, overlapping each other.
  • 4. Add small cones, balls, beads, rose hips or viburnum, attaching the decor with a heat gun.
  • 5. Cut a piece of ribbon and tie a fluffy bow, attach it to the top of the wreath.

By the way, spruce wreaths can not only be hung on the cornice, but also simply placed on the windowsill, and a thick candle should be placed inside such a decoration.

Idea No. 10: Garlands made of cotton wool

Step-by-step instructions for making a garland from pieces of cotton wool

Decor for window openings can be made from the simplest items that are found in every home. For example, from cotton wool. To make a garland you need to prepare a large number of cotton balls, roll them to make them denser and string them on a long fishing line, hanging them in the window openings. Alternate lumps of snow with snowflakes made from napkins - this way your craft will become airy, and the illusion of falling snow flakes will appear in your apartment.

Idea No. 11: Garlands made from cups

Master class on creating a decorative luminous garland

You can also make an unusual decor from paper cups by making transverse cuts (crosswise) in the bottom with a stationery knife. Then insert the light bulbs into the holes and attach the garland to get original shades. If you don't have suitable paper cups, you can do the same manipulation with plastic cups. In this case, you will need to decorate them - these can be strips of colored paper or ordinary napkins with a pattern placed on glue.

Idea No. 12: Panorama with a winter forest and animals

Multidimensional paper panorama for Christmas and New Year

We have already told you how you can create a fairy-tale village or a city sparkling with lights on your windowsill, but the panoramic crafts don’t end there. On the window you can arrange a magical panorama clearing with Christmas trees and animals. To work you will need:

  • paper;
  • scissors;
  • pencil;
  • garland of LED light bulbs.

Procedure

Making a paper installation with an LED garland:
  • 1. Glue together several sheets of office paper so that their total length is equal to the length of the window sill. Make 2-3 such blanks so that the panorama has several layers.
  • 2. Find and download drawings on New Year's theme– Christmas trees, bunnies, bears, penguins, snowmen or deer are perfect for this purpose.
  • 3. Cut out the stencils and transfer them to a paper strip, placing the drawings continuously one after another. Before drawing, step back 5-6 centimeters from the bottom edge and bend the sheet so that you can then place the panorama on the windowsill.
  • 4. Arrange the panoramas on the window so that the taller figures (for example, trees) are located near the window, and the lower ones stand on the edge of the window sill.
  • 5. Lay an LED strip or a garland with light bulbs between the layers and light it to get a a real fairy tale.

Create the right one New Year's atmosphere Many details help: a decorated Christmas tree, garlands on the windows, New Year figurines, artificial snow. But you can please yourself and those around you in another way - by drawing various patterns, figures, or even entire scenes on the New Year’s window. Then a special mood is created not only inside the room, but also outside. Such a drawing will definitely attract the attention of passers-by and will receive a response in the form of a smile.

Create your own New Year's tale on the window you can use different materials. The main condition is that in the future the drawing must be washed off well, otherwise the snowmen and snowflakes will remain on the window forever.

What to draw on windows New Year's drawings? Most often these are the following materials:

  • paints (gouache or watercolor);
  • stained glass;
  • toothpaste;
  • markers.

The most popular option is gouache. With its help you can create bright pictures, the paint fits well on the surface of the window, and is also easy to wash off. The downside of this option is that the gouache can roll off.

To avoid rolling, you should add a little soap solution to the gouache or, before applying paint to the brush, the latter should be barely wetted in water.

Toothpaste is often used to draw on the window. With its help, the effect of a frozen surface or frost is created. This picture is also easy to wash off with water. But the image will be monochromatic, which can be a minus for those who like bright drawings. Sometimes dyes are added to toothpaste, but still the effect is not the same as that of gouache.

Toothpaste drawings look especially impressive at night, when the contrast between the dark surface and the white image is clearly visible.

Special markers will also help you draw what you want. They will be easy to wash off later, which cannot be said about simple markers.

Having decided on suitable materials, you can begin to study the technology of image application.

How to draw patterns on a window for the New Year

If your artistic talent has let you down and draw a full-fledged New Year's picture on the window is not possible, then you can limit yourself to beautiful patterns. They will create the effect of a frozen window, which is especially important if the winter has not brought you snow.

All of the above materials are suitable to create such an image. If paints are chosen, it is important to note that it is better to use a white shade.

If you want to get a delicate, sophisticated design, you should use a thin brush. If you need to apply a large pattern, a small soft sponge will do.

The technology of drawing depends on the skills of the master. If a person draws well and knows how to correctly arrange objects on the canvas - window, then you can start creative process without special preparation.

You should put in front of you:

  • paints, toothpaste or marker;
  • a brush or sponge (if a marker is used, nothing is needed);
  • soft cloth to remove imperfections.

To make the pattern delicate and sophisticated, you need to apply paint to the brush not directly from the jar, but first transfer it to the palette.

Draw step by step winter patterns you need this:

  • use a brush to make chaotic sketches - waves;
  • draw curls on each “branch” of the pattern:
  • use a thicker brush to make the patterns more massive.

It is very convenient to use a toothbrush. It will help create carved patterns on the window.

If you don’t have enough imagination to come up with New Year's composition, then it is appropriate to use templates. They can be found on the Internet, printed on paper and cut out. Then such a template needs to be attached to the window and outlined with a brush with paint. Paint the space inside it.

There are also special stencils that will allow you to depict any pattern on the window without much difficulty. How to draw patterns on a window for the New Year using them?

Everything is very simple:

  • the window needs to be washed;
  • place the stencil on the surface and press well so that it does not move;
  • take a brush, cup or marker and trace the pattern inside the stencil, and then shade it;
  • by using wooden stick(these are available in manicure kits) draw details or remove flaws.

Using a stencil, you can get no less beautiful patterns if you use artificial snow in cans. To do this, you need to attach a stencil to the window and apply artificial snow to it. Then you should remove the template, and a snow-white pattern will remain on the window.

The patterns can be successfully combined with other New Year's elements, for example, with Father Frost and the Snow Maiden.

How to draw Santa Claus and Snow Maiden on the window, ideas with step-by-step description

If you want to depict a full-fledged composition, then it will be useful to learn how to draw Father Frost and the Snow Maiden on the window. Such characters will definitely appeal to both children and adults. They will look impressive in any technique and using any materials. It should be noted that such a task cannot be called too simple. Father Frost and Snow Maiden have many important attributes and outfit elements that must be drawn.

Several ideas with step-by-step descriptions are presented below.

The first option is for those who prefer to paint with paints. In order to depict the Snow Maiden, you will need a few colors: blue, white, yellow and a little red.

First you need to draw a sketch. To do this, take a thin brush. It is important to carefully draw every detail so that the granddaughter of Santa Claus looks like herself.

Then, changing colors, decorate the sketch. Add color to your face with special care. You can easily make a mistake in this zone and it will “float.”

Santa Claus needs to be drawn in a similar way:

  • draw a silhouette;
  • make marks where the hat and bag will be located;
  • draw facial features, legs, arms;
  • You also need to remember about the beard and staff - important attributes of Santa Claus.

The thinner the brush for painting, the better the details will be drawn.

The second option involves the use of markers. They can also be colored, but a simple white option is also possible.

Just like using paints, you first need to draw a sketch. In this case, it will be more difficult to do this, because the “nose” of the marker is thicker than the brush. Therefore, it is preferable to choose simpler images of Santa Claus and his granddaughter.

Step by step process The drawing on the window is shown below:

The last option will be useful for those who are far from fine art. Paper templates or special stencils will help you draw the main New Year's characters. The algorithm of actions will be elementary: you need to attach the stencil to the window and trace it. Color it at your discretion and the drawing is ready.

Paper templates combined with artificial snow will also give the desired result.

What to draw on the window for the New Year, ideas step by step

Anyone who wants to do this kind of creativity for the first time is wondering what to draw on the window for the New Year. Don't stop your imagination; ideas can be very diverse.

The following can “settle” on the surface of the window:

  • New Year's cartoon characters;
  • Christmas tree decorations, balls, garlands;
  • snowmen, decorated Christmas trees;
  • Happy New Year wishes, New Year quotes;
  • snowflakes, bells, crackers, etc.

It is important to choose the option that you can depict without the help of outsiders, performing the actions step by step.

For example, you can draw a Christmas tree. Who hasn’t drawn this forest beauty at least once in their life? The subject is known to everyone, which means the drawing will be successful.

It is best to use paints. This way you can draw details more accurately.

The process is carried out step by step as follows:

  • first take a thin brush and draw a triangle;
  • branches should extend from it;
  • each branch must be designed so that it hangs realistically;
  • draw stars, garlands, balls.

For convenience, you can first apply a drawing in one color, and then color all the elements according to the type of coloring.

You can choose a more abstract option. Then you won’t have to draw out every needle, but the result will also be worthy.

The classic version of the New Year's pattern on the window is snowflakes. They are directly associated with the holiday, giving a positive festive mood and comfort. You especially need to resort to such a pattern when there is no snow outside the window, but you really want a winter atmosphere.

You should start your drawing by drawing the frame:

Then you should turn on your imagination and think about what a snowflake should be like. You can draw it step by step like this:

  • draw “rays”: some are longer, and some are shorter;
  • add a shape to each “ray” to make the snowflake three-dimensional;
  • Fill the middle of the picture with paint.

To implement the idea, paints, toothpaste, and a marker are suitable.

Having drawn one snowflake, you want to complement it with several more. This creates a whole picture of their snowflakes.

It is important to draw them differently so that the image turns out original.

Another option is fabulous New Year's heroes.

It could be:

  • snowman;
  • bunny;
  • The Snow Queen;
  • fox, etc.

For children, a simple window painted in this way will become the entrance to fairy world. They will definitely appreciate the efforts of adults. But they still have to be applied to make the characters realistic. To do this, you can first print out an example - a sample and, based on it, depict some hero.

The bunny will turn out to be very realistic if you use this step-by-step diagram:

  • first draw one smaller oval (head), one larger one (torso) and a circle (thigh);
  • then draw the paws, ears and tail;
  • don't forget about socks and eyes.

You can dress a bunny in a New Year's hat, for example.

There will be no difficulties with drawing a snowman on the window. The step-by-step process is as follows:

What pictures can be painted on the window, ideas step by step

It is paints that often become the main material that allows you to paint a full-fledged picture on glass. A wide palette of colors, ease of application, ease of removing the pattern from the window - all this allows you to make a choice in favor of gouache or watercolor.

What pictures can you paint on the window? Any fantasy can be realized with their help. Even the most complex drawings with small details can be reproduced with this material at hand. But at the same time you need to have a little preparation. Inability to handle paints can result in the drawing being blurry and sloppy.

Any paintings on windows are made based on the following algorithm:

  1. Find a suitable sketch of the design that will appear on the glass.
  2. Choose high-quality paint (preferably gouache). It should have good surface coverage. This is usually the case with professional paints.
  3. Buy a quality brush: thin and thick. The thinner one can draw small details, and the wider one can sketch the “body” of the image.
  4. Place all the materials, a jar of water and a sponge nearby to remove blemishes.
  5. Draw a sketch on the window and gradually draw each element.

You can also use watercolor instead of gouache. But it is more “capricious” and requires more skill. Watercolor is also more difficult to wash off, which is no less important when the New Year's season passes.

A few ideas will tell you how to get it step by step interesting drawing on the window during New Year's time.

The drawing of Santa Claus' assistants will always be relevant. For beginners in fine art, it is better to choose large drawings on the window. Small details can be difficult. But over time, the experience gained will overcome uncertainty.

How to draw Santa Claus has already been described above. How to depict a penguin on a window? To do this, you should proceed in stages:

Rudolph the Reindeer is one of my favorites New Year's characters. He is depicted on sweaters, and there are many such deer toys on store shelves. Why not display it on your window? The task is carried out step by step using a similar method: materials are prepared, a sketch is made, the drawing is painted using paints and a brush.

As a result, a cheerful New Year's hero will be displayed on the window.

Another idea is to depict a New Year's sleigh with gifts. To do this, you also need to “arm yourself” with gouache and a brush.

The process goes step by step like this:

How to draw frost on a window with toothpaste, details with photos

The only way to convey frost on windows more realistically is to use toothpaste to paint on the window. This process is not difficult if you do everything step by step.

How to draw frost on a window with toothpaste?

To do this you need to prepare:

  • toothpaste (you can use colored toothpaste or add dye to white paste);
  • toothbrush;
  • water;
  • brush;
  • sponge;
  • fabric to remove imperfections;
  • wooden stick for drawing details.

The algorithm with photos is presented in detail below.

Cut a piece of sponge of such a size that it is convenient to draw with it.

Squeeze the toothpaste into the container and mix it.

Dip a sponge in toothpaste and draw the outline of the design. This process will be difficult because the line will “wiggle”.

Now you need to take a brush and make the lines clearer and more regular. Also, use a brush to paint small details that a sponge cannot “overcome.” A wooden stick will also come in handy at this stage.

If you are not confident in your talent as an artist, then you can use a pre-prepared stencil.

A toothbrush will come in handy to paint splashes of frost on the window.

How to draw snowflakes on a window with gouache, step by step

Snowflakes outside the window transport a person to a New Year's fairy tale, no matter how old he is. And if winter is not happy snowy weather? It doesn’t matter, you can decorate your room properly. And in this situation, it will be useful to learn how to draw snowflakes on a window with gouache.

Why should paints be chosen as a drawing material? The thing is that the most beautiful are carved snowflakes that have an unusual shape. It is impossible to achieve such edges with toothpaste and a sponge. Gouache spreads better over the surface and is easily erased later.

The most simple option, which can easily be done step by step, is to use a template. The procedure will be as follows:

  1. Cut out a snowflake from paper.
  2. Place it on the glass and secure with tape.
  3. Take paints and a brush. Trace the outline of the snowflake, taking into account all the curves, cuts, etc.
  4. Carefully remove the paper base and paint the “body” of the snowflake with paint.

As a result, it will turn out very realistic, and the New Year's mood will be saved.

The next option is to use a can of artificial snow and gouache. In this case, it will also be necessary to first stock up on paper dummies of snowflakes.

Attach paper snowflakes to the clean surface of the window using tape or soapy water. You need to apply artificial snow on top and rub it with a sponge. Afterwards, carefully remove the paper snowflake.

The desired silhouette with a snowy effect will appear on the window.

Now it’s time to apply paints: you need to use them to outline the outline of the snowflake to get a clear drawing.

The last option is suitable for those who are fluent visual talent. It will be necessary to draw a snowflake with gouache “by hand” without additional help in the form of a template or artificial snow.

Don't worry that this is a complicated procedure. Those who have ever drawn snowflakes on paper will cope with this task. In addition, gouache is easy to wash off, so in case of a fiasco, the drawing can be easily corrected.

You need to draw a snowflake with gouache step by step like this (the simplest option):

After such creative experiments, it will also be useful to learn how to quickly clean gouache from windows. The following video will be useful:

You can use this drawing as a basis:

First you should depict the main characters- cats. They are drawn from the back, as if looking out the window.

The image diagram will be like this:

It is important to maintain proportions: one cat should be larger and the other smaller. Seals can be either snow-white or colored.

Now you should start drawing snowflakes. There will be a lot of them, they should form a kind of curtains that are tied with bows.

How to draw snowflakes correctly was described a little higher.

Video drawings on the window for the New Year

A video on the topic “Drawings on a window for the New Year” will help you decide on the theme of the image and show you more clearly how to correctly draw what you want.

A selection of such videos is presented below:

Before the New Year, you must definitely let him into your home good mood. It is the drawings on the windows that will help make the house immediately feel cozy and festive. “It’s difficult, and it will take a long time to clean the windows” - that’s what some say. But if you choose the right design and materials, it will not be difficult to apply the image, and subsequently wash it off.

Decorating your home is always a pleasure. Everyone's favorite winter holiday is approaching. On the eve of the New Year, mass preparations begin. Many housewives do crafts at home with their children, also in educational institutions conduct special labor lessons. They teach children how to draw snowflakes on a window using toothpaste or how to glue a beautiful garland from such elements.

Toothpaste window snowflakes are by far the most popular New Year's decorations. There is nothing easier than giving the windows a festive look in this way. To recreate a snow pattern, you first need to select a beautiful design of the element itself.

Almost every home today has plastic windows that prevent real frosts from depicting skillful masterpieces of winter weather. In other words, on plastic windows you can no longer find the patterns that could be seen on windows before. After all, painted masterpieces were simply mesmerizing with their appearance quite recently, but now reverse painting can be realized only with the help of one’s own efforts.

Of course, you may not be able to draw like this, but decorating the windows is no worse - it’s definitely something everyone can do. Moreover, even the smallest family members can cope with such a task. Ordinary toothpaste, which is always at hand, will help decorate your home. Moreover, you can depict not only snowflakes, but any desired patterns and images. It’s not uncommon for fairy-tale characters or animals to be painted on glass, for example, the symbol of the year and so on.

What you need for work:

- deep water container;
- Toothbrush;
- toothpaste;
- water.

1. You should cut out beautiful openwork silhouettes of snowflakes, then the pattern on the window will look much more attractive.
2. When working, there are always small splashing droplets around the element, which will only add originality to the pattern, so you should not place such window decorations very close to each other.
3. When working, try to shake off the brush as much as possible, otherwise you will end up with large drops splashing, which can ultimately ruin the entire design as a whole.
4. When an image is applied, undesirable places often get dirty, so when working, they can be covered with newspaper or other material.
5. Don't a huge amount snowflakes to fill the entire window space, because it will not look very original. It would be better if such a composition was placed in the corner of the window. Or make a drawing, moving it a little to the side, and let it contain several snowflakes, slightly overlapping each other.

Drawing

The selected openwork snowflake is glued to the window, leveled well and pulled smoothly. Then prepare a solution for applying the pattern. Moreover, you can draw anything on the window with toothpaste.

Spray method

To do this, pour lukewarm water into a deep container and add toothpaste there. After this, you need to dip your toothbrush in this mixture, shake off excess water and use thumb brush along the bristles, pointing the brush at the snowflake glued to the window.

Small splashes will settle next to the snowflake stencil, but this is not scary, on the contrary, it will turn out more beautiful. You just need to make sure that the splashes do not fly in large drops, because then the drawing may become blurred.

As a result, after the final work, the snowflake stencil is carefully removed, and a beautiful pattern is obtained that will resemble a kind of sputtering. For those people who do not know this application option, it would not immediately occur to them that there is ordinary toothpaste on the windows.

You can decorate your windows for the New Year with colored snowflakes, which look simply gorgeous. To do this, many people use colored toothpaste, but it is not always possible to choose the right shade, so you have to resort to watercolor paints.

The base of the composition will be toothpaste, but you need to add paint of the desired color to it using water. This is done like this: the paste is squeezed into a suitable deep container of small size. After this, using water and a brush, wet the watercolor paint of the desired color and mix it with the paste, and then you can bring the entire composition to the required consistency. After all, the paste from the brush should be splashed, so the composition should not have a thick consistency.

Decoration method

Many people know how to draw with toothpaste without a toothbrush. At the same time, the drawings turn out no worse. To do this you need to select watercolor paints, Blank sheet paper, an openwork snowflake template, a marker, preferably black, because then the contours of the application are clearly visible. It is better to choose one thick and one thin brush and a container for water.

Once all the auxiliary material is ready, you can begin to work. Take the selected template and apply it to the window. Trace all the contours of the snowflake with a black marker. After this, the template is removed, and the drawn element remains. When coloring, many “artists” smear the marker with paints, and leave some for contrast, so here everyone decides for himself what he wants to see.

After a beautiful snowflake is painted on the window, they begin to decorate it, for example, outlining all the lines several times in blue. This is done quickly, and the paint dries almost immediately.

When getting started, first squeeze out a little toothpaste onto a sheet of clean paper (you shouldn’t take a lot; if you need more later, you can always add). Then a thick brush is dipped in water and thoroughly coated with blue paint. After this, transfer to the squeezed out paste and mix thoroughly until a homogeneous consistency is achieved, achieving the desired color. After this, they paint with exactly the created composition, like watercolor paint.

The result was a bright blue snowflake. Then, after the paint has dried, take a thin brush and paint around the edges with a darker color to highlight the surface contours, this makes it more beautiful. You can also resort to additional accessories. For example, apply glitter around the edges rather than a dark tone, but apply glitter with a brush, but this is painstaking work for an amateur.

Undoubtedly, everything depends on the imagination of the person himself. Some people like to create real New Year's masterpieces. Some people draw beautifully on their own without templates, truly possessing artistic skills. Those who find it difficult to draw on their own use templates and popular ideas. After all, snowflakes on the window are a delightful New Year's decoration that remains and will always remain in fashion.

I see that many are already preparing for the New Year with all their might, decorating the Christmas trees and decorating their apartments. Well, I think I need to somehow take part in this “disgrace”. The simplest thing that came to mind was to draw (or rather, spray) snowflakes on glass. We will “draw” with toothpaste and cut out snowflakes from paper, thank God I haven’t forgotten how to do this yet. At the end of the article you can watch a video on how to cut out these same snowflakes. In the meantime, let's get started.

Making snowflakes on glass

First, let’s prepare everything we need for our “lesson of labor and patience.” I know that 2012 is the Year of the Dragon, but I personally have always had problems with drawing, and I don’t have a printer - otherwise you could just print a dragon on paper, cut it out and apply it to the glass. But what is not there is not there - the most he can do is draw a “smiley” - a smiling face - so we’ll do it instead of a dragon. At the same time, we cut out numbers and, of course, snowflakes (how? - there’s a video at the bottom of the article, look, everything is clear there). I cut everything out of regular A4 office paper. see photo

As you can see from the photo, we will need: scissors and a stationery knife (for cutting out the smile and eyes of the emoticon), toothpaste (tooth powder can be used), a toothbrush, a container where we will dilute the paste with water. Don't worry about watercolor paints, I wanted to do color drawings first, but I changed my mind.

Dilute toothpaste with water to a medium-thick paste. I can’t say the proportions, I did it by eye, drop by drop

I couldn’t find colored toothpaste in our village stores, and I wanted to try diluting it with watercolors - but it turned out to be a pale paste, it might work inside an apartment, but my drawing will be oriented towards the street and there’s not much difference in color, so I changed my mind and used only clean toothpaste.

It is better to use a hard brush, it sprays better and is more dense. It is very easy to spray - you move your finger from the beginning of the bristles, the bristles bend, then straighten. Depending on the speed of running your finger along the bristles, the circle of droplet scattering can be reduced or increased, all this is determined experimentally.

to begin with, I decided to “play and practice” on the mirror cabinet in the bathroom, it didn’t turn out very well.

Now let's move on to the main thing. The photo below shows the place where the drawing will be. This is the window of my workshop. I will draw from the inside, but the drawing will be oriented for those who see from the outside - folded in

The first thing I decided to draw was a smiley face. I wet it with water, but not too much, so that our face would stick to the glass, and smoothed it out with a damp cloth. After that, we take the brush in our hands, dip it in our dental solution and go ahead.

By the way, I still had to pick up a brush and paint a border on all the figures. Since the edges of the drawings were not noticeable from the street, they merged, so, to enhance the edges (this is not Photoshop, after all), I dipped a brush into the same dental solution and tapped on the edges of my figures. An important note: do not move the brush over the glass - you can “knock down” the paper or even tear it, because it is wet and easily susceptible to any influence.

Well, see the result below. I took pictures from the street.

Every person with the onset of December immediately remembers the fabulous celebration. On the eve of the New Year, according to old customs, people decorate their homes with traditional decorations, which can be glued or painted. Therefore, some people are concerned about the question of how to draw snowflakes on a window from toothpaste? After all, it would seem that this is not a very ordinary combination, because many are accustomed to painting with paints.

However, I would like to note that toothpaste allows you to create real painted masterpieces on windows. Such art has limitless possibilities in decorating windows or glass. Of course, before creating any composition, it is necessary to take into account some nuances.

For those people who have experience in this matter, there are undoubtedly fewer difficulties, but those who will delve into this craft for the first time will have to listen to some advice. Snowflakes on the window made from toothpaste will allow you to create fabulous compositions in any style. Although everything will depend on individual imagination.

Some people like to simply apply elements of snowflakes, while many draw scenes from children's fairy tales. After all, such a holiday is endowed with mystery and magic. Moreover, the painted compositions will appeal to anyone, even the most inveterate critic and sloth.

Of course, in order to make your house look festive, you can resort to another decoration option, for example, garlands, stickers, glowing lanterns and many other toys can help decorate your home. But these decorations cannot be compared with real painted snowflakes on the window with toothpaste.

Moreover, when doing this kind of work, you can invite children who really like to draw. The participation of children makes creativity a real pleasure, especially for parents. Window decorations can be applied in different ways.

Different ways to apply snowflakes

Painting on a window with toothpaste is not at all difficult. First you need to prepare a white paste without adding various impurities. The window must be washed and dried in advance. This option is very suitable for very young children.

After that, a small amount of toothpaste is applied to the tip of your finger and a snowflake is drawn directly with your finger. For a child, the silhouette of the openwork element can first be drawn with a marker of any color. Because the child will probably not create symmetrical rays of a snowflake, but will be able to trace it with a greased finger.

If such a drawing is performed by an adult, then it should be taken into account that at first the line of the applied line from the paste will be abundantly white, then the line will begin to lighten due to the consumption of toothpaste. But since such “paint” dries quickly, you can apply a second line directly along this stripe in order to create a snow-white appearance of the composition.

In this way, you can draw a dance of snowflakes suspended on a garland. Or simply scatter falling beauties chaotically across the glass. It is not uncommon for many people to draw a team of deer using templates, and the background of falling snowflakes will harmoniously decorate such a composition, and they are drawn quite quickly with a finger.

However, any drawing can be decorated with snow beauties. Such art is clearly to the taste of many, and involving children will make the work process more interesting and exciting. After all, finger painting is so fun that the child will obviously be delighted.

Method of painting with a brush

This method is a little more complicated than the previous one, because during the work you will need a watercolor brush. It is better to take several copies, that is, one thin and the other thick. This will make it more convenient to create the image of falling or dancing snowflakes.

In the dance, it is necessary to take into account the rows, that is, the silhouettes of the beauties made of snow must be of different sizes. For example, the first circle is applied with a thin brush, and the second with a thick brush, then the dance will be symmetrical.

To work, toothpaste is diluted a little with water and used instead of watercolors. The consistency should not be too thick, but it should not be liquid either, because then the drawing will flow in drops on the glass and the figure will not work out.

Diluted toothpaste may dry out during drawing. It is difficult to work with this product, so you should add a little water to return it to the previous consistency. If you are afraid to draw on glass right away because it might not work, then you can first practice on a sheet of paper.

A method for applying snowflakes to windows using a brush and watercolors

This process will require watercolor paints, toothpaste and brushes of the same sizes as in the previous method of applying snow beauties. After this, take several small bowls (you can take plastic lids for jars) in which the necessary contents will be diluted.

To do this, squeeze a small amount of toothpaste into each bowl and use a thick brush dipped in water and smear it in the desired color. watercolor paint mix the toothpaste. At the same time, the color and consistency become different and it is easy to draw patterns with them.

These colors can be anything. Not uncommon for application artistic compositions First, everything is drawn with a large brush, and for drawing small parts use a thinner brush. Also, using a tool, glitter is applied, which is prepared in advance. It could be a snow-white snowflake shimmering with white sparks or another pattern. Everything will depend on the imagination of the “artist”.

Application method using templates

For this work you need to prepare the necessary stencils. For example, snowflakes and snowmen or fluffy fir branches with a Christmas tree toy attached to it. The snowman can be placed in the middle of the window, and the branches are better in the corner. Decorate all this with falling openwork snowflakes.

To work, you need to prepare toothpaste without additives in the composition. A deep bowl for diluting the application product. A piece of foam rubber and fabric that absorbs moisture well. A toothbrush and selected stencils.

Then wet the glass with plain water using foam rubber and stick the stencils on it, as they should “sit” on the glass. After this, dilute the toothpaste with water to the consistency of a clerical touch. Wet a toothbrush in this mixture, bring it as close as possible to the attached stencil and run your finger along the brush.

In this case, droplets of toothpaste spray the area where the template is located. Do this until it is all painted over. After the stencil has dried, it is removed, but the design remains. Snow-white compositions can be complemented with colored inserts using the application methods described above.

It’s not uncommon for those who apply such designs for the first time to spray the brush with toothpaste poorly, so smudges result. You shouldn’t be afraid of this; use a cloth prepared in advance for wiping, which will help remove all such troubles.
Now everyone knows how to draw patterns and various compositions, so use these methods of application for your home, delighting yourself and those around you. After all, New Year’s compositions can immediately lift everyone’s spirits, and this is so important today. Moreover, applying various patterns is so nice.

Not many people dare to draw on the windows, citing the fact that after the New Year it will be difficult and too lazy to wash them)) I won’t argue with laziness, we all have it. But the beauty is in in this case must overcome it. You won’t encounter any difficulty in laundering either - I’ve tested it on myself many times.

We will need:
1. toothpaste or powder
2. dish sponge
3.thicker paper
4. scissors

Naturally, you can draw anything you want. I suggest drawing Christmas tree. It will consist of many stars of different sizes.

We draw stars: you can do it by hand, I drew it in Power Point - it’s very convenient and fast. Cut out, leaving plenty of space around the edges:

Prepare the “paint”: mix toothpaste or powder with water until it becomes thick sour cream. For big fans of cleaning windows, I can suggest adding watercolors to this mixture: the drawing will be much more fun!

Let's go to the window. We prepare our stencils, sponge and “paint”. We figure out where the drawing will be located and start drawing. We apply the stencil to the glass and go over it with a sponge dipped in “paint”.

We do this many times, using all the stencils. We get a wonderful winter drawing, pleasantly smelling of mint.

This painting looks very beautiful on the windows of old wooden country houses, generously decorated with carved frames.
