Naruto hurricane chronicles list of episodes.

The Naruto series ended on March 23, 2017, so why not sum up this famous anime epic that was broadcast for 15 years? Some people grew up watching this series, while others “avidly watched” all the seasons in a row. But here’s a paradox: when asked how many episodes there are in Naruto, about 60% of viewers cannot give a definite answer. “A lot” or “About 500” are the most common answers. Therefore, let's pay a little attention to this issue.

Basic information about the release of the first season

The anime series "Naruto" was released on Japanese television in 2002, on October 3. The first 135 episodes of the anime are completely faithful to the original manga. Then fillers begin to appear on the screens. They did not really live up to the expectations of the audience, but despite this, work on the project did not stop. The first season ended in 2007. So, how many episodes are there in Naruto season 1? First we structure it, then we calculate it.

Naruto anime series

The first 26 episodes introduce the viewer to the main characters and the world of shinobi. School graduates are divided into teams led by a mentor and perform various tasks. After completing an important mission, the three main characters (Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura) are nominated by their mentor to participate in the chunin exam (a competition to promote the rank of shinobi).

The second block of 26 episodes describes how the exam takes place and tells about the attack of the international criminal Orochimaru on the team of the main characters.

In the next 26 episodes, the viewer learns that the village is being attacked by Shinobi of Sand and Sound. The Third Hokage fights with Orochimaru, under this “noise” Naruto meets Jiraiya, the legendary sannin.

The fourth 26-episode block tells about the events that take place after the end of the battle in the village. The enemies retreated, but the Third Hokage was killed. Jiraiya is offered to take his place, he refuses and, together with Naruto, goes in search of another candidate - Tsunade.

Further, in 26 episodes, the characters of the anime “Naruto” appear before the audience from a completely different side. Sasuke realizes that he is not as strong as he would like and runs away from the village, becoming Orochimaru's student. A special squad has been assembled to bring him back.

The sixth block of 26 episodes tells that the mission failed. Sasuke went to Orochimaru, and Naruto became Jiraiya's student. Further, all episodes are fillers, their total equals 63. The last episode of the season refers to the main storyline, it shows Naruto leaving the village with Jiraiya.

Now let’s answer the question about how many episodes there are in Naruto season 1. Six blocks of 26 episodes, 63 fillers and a final episode will give a total of 220 episodes.

About the second season

The first episode of the second season was released on February 15, 2007. The series aired on Japanese television every Thursday at 7:30 pm. "Naruto: Hurricane Chronicles" is the original title of the second season. To answer the question of how many episodes there are in Naruto, you need to take this information into account.

The second season can be divided into 26 blocks (arches). The number of episodes in them is not as clear as in the first one. It is also worth noting that along with the plot episodes, 197 fillers and 14 flashbacks were released. Fillers begin to appear after the 51st episode of the season, and some blocks consist exclusively of them.

Anime series "Naruto: Hurricane Chronicles"

For those who haven’t watched the second season or haven’t finished watching it yet, we won’t reveal full information. We will tell only in general outline about the main events of the series.

It's been 3 years since Sasuke left the village and Naruto left with Jiraiya. In the world of shinobi, the criminal organization Akatsuki is active, whose members are trying to catch all jinchuriki (shinobi in which tailed demons are sealed, Naruto is one of them). Many heroes suffered and died in the fight against these criminals. But, as it turned out, the organization was only a “front man”. The real culprit turned out to be a shinobi from the Hidden Leaf Village who lived several decades ago. Its main goal is to plunge the entire world into eternal illusion. Shinobi from different countries unite and go to war.

In total, 289 episodes of the main story were released. And if we talk about how many episodes there are in Naruto, then in the end it will be: 220 episodes of the first season, 14 flashbacks, 197 fillers and 289 episodes of the main story in total give 720 episodes of the famous anime series.

additional information

Thus, over the long 15 years of the film adaptation, 720 episodes were released based on the original Naruto manga of the same name by Masashi Kishimoto. But that is not all. In the breaks between the releases of episodes, the directors were engaged in production feature films and OVA.

Over the entire period, 8 original anime series (ovas) have been released:

  • "The Search for the Four-Leaf Clover."
  • "Fight in the Hidden Waterfall Village."
  • "Konoha Sports Festival"
  • "Big Fighting Tournament: Jounin vs Genin."
  • "Crossing Roads"
  • "Genie and Three Wishes"
  • "Friendship between Naruto and Sasuke."
  • "Naruto vs Konohamaru"

In addition to the OVA, 11 films were released. It is worth noting the particular popularity last movie Naruto: Boruto, which was released on August 7, 2015. It tells the story of a new generation of shinobi, namely Naruto's son. Based on this film, directors began working on the production of a new anime series, Boruto: Next Generation. The first episode was released on April 5, 2017.

Now you can answer how many episodes there are in Naruto: 720 episodes. But if you add to them all the anime that relate to this story, you get a slightly larger number. Nothing in the world can last forever, but when it comes to the Naruto anime, at times it feels like it will never end. And viewers don’t really want to let go of already beloved characters, so 720 episodes of an anime series may not be the limit. Will there be a third season?

Naruto Uzumaki: Character Story

Japanese animation, which is limited from other genres and called anime, is popular all over the world. And in colorful full-length films and TV series, viewers see not only big-eyed heroes, but also a non-trivial plot, because of which it is simply impossible to tear yourself away from the TV screens.

Fans Japanese art know that some films were created by animators thanks to the original source - manga, black and white comics. The fact is that Japanese characters are complex even for a resident of the Land of the Rising Sun, which is why bookstores are filled with graphic novels. However, not all hand-drawn stories become full-length animated films and TV series.

From the manga, Death Note, Sailor Moon, Bleach and other stories migrated to the small screen. It is worth highlighting, perhaps, Naruto himself. famous character from the comic book of the same name. This hero is ranked sixth in the list of 25 best characters anime according to IGN.

History of creation

Manga in the shounen genre (this genre is designed for the target audience of boys from 12 to 18 years old) was invented by talented artist Masashi Kishimoto, who from childhood began to demonstrate a love of drawing: as a child, Masashi made sketches of his favorite characters everywhere.

The future mangaka drew short stories until the age of 20, and then tried to take his place in the sun by sending sketches to the Shueisha company. But, as you know, the first pancake turns out to be lumpy: his creation “Karakuri” was not in great demand. However, the author managed to win the Hop Step Award from Shonen Jump magazine.

Then a dark streak came in Kishimoto’s life, because for several years his work was always rejected by editors. Avid fans of Japanese cartoons, reading Masashi's biography, will probably remember the anime "Bakuman", which tells the story of two schoolchildren who dreamed of drawing a popular manga, but initially failed.

Later, the artist still managed to catch luck by the tail. After a series of defeats, the illustrator decided to dedicate his own creation to his favorite dish - ramen. In Japan and China, this is the name for inexpensive fast food, which is based on wheat noodles in fish or meat broth with your choice of additives: pork, chicken, pickles, eggs, spinach, and so on.

Kishimoto said that the plot of the original version of the manga was about the secret ingredients of noodles, but after a “small edit” the main character became not a dish, but a ninja. However, fans of this anime know that main character Naruto loves ramen and is ready to sell his soul to the devil for it. In the first episode of the first season of the series, a boy happily eats noodles in a cafe with his sensei.

A short comic book "Naruto" was published in the summer of 1997. The audience greeted the new character with delight, but Masashi was not happy with either the drawing or too much confusing plot. The graphic novel was about nine friends who defeated a nine-tailed demon fox. The only survivor of this company is looking after the son of the fox - a boy named Naruto Uzumaki. Since the young man had no friends, the teacher gives him a task: find a friend and bring him to school.

The main character meets the drunken artist Kuroda, who is restoring the precious painting “Symbol” by master Saburo. The creator and his assistant are so afraid of the theft of the painting that they even assign a policeman to him. However, during the night, Kuroda's assistant was killed and the painting disappeared from the premises. Naruto is suspected of the crime, but the young man swears that he will find the true kidnapper: thanks to his hypersensitive sense of smell, he is able to smell artistic paints from a distance. Thus, Kishimoto's debut manga resembled more of a detective genre.

The illustrator decided to change the plot of his short graphic novel. And after some time, “Naruto” resulted in a multi-volume manga, which later became the cult anime series “Naruto: Hurricane Chronicles.” Initially, the world where the boy lives resembled a modern one. Readers saw cars and firearms, but only Naruto and his mentor mastered ninja techniques.

Completely redesigned amateur concept black and white pictures(manga is rarely released “in color” and in this case is called “colorful”) was seen in the September issue of Shonen Jump magazine, where the first chapter was published. The author (according to him, spontaneously) came up with the village of Konoha, where ninjas live and train.

Kishimoto also said that he invented the landscape based on the landscapes of Okayama Prefecture in Japan. To gain inspiration, the mangaka turned to the works of his colleagues and read graphic novels in the shounen genre, trying to make the characters different from the rest.

As of February 2015, 72 tankōbon of the manga have been published in Japan, and Naruto's commercial success currently knows no bounds. Kishimoto's creation has long occupied the top positions in the lists of best-selling graphic novels, not only in Japan, but also in a number of other countries. Researchers put the story about the adventures of a restless ninja on a par with the cult Japanese mangas: "Kochikame", "Dragon Ball", "Slam Dunk", " One Piece" etc.

Biography and plot

One can only envy Naruto's ambitions. Everyone despised the boy, but he constantly repeated: “I am the future Hokage.” In fact, initially the blue-eyed, blond-haired young man had no friends. He was constantly known for pranks, for example, in the first series he painted the faces of the four Hokages engraved in the mountains.

The reasons for this behavior are quite understandable. The fact is that the main character, whose mother and father died, grew up without knowing parental love. Therefore, Uzumaki compensated for his loneliness by trying to attract the attention of everyone.

According to the plot, a long time ago the village of Konoha was attacked nine tailed fox. Naruto's father imprisoned this demon in the body of a boy, sacrificing his life so that the fox would not be reborn again. The main character's parent decided that his offspring would be strong, so he could easily control evil spirit.

Next, Uzumaki learns that he was a black sheep in his village because of this circumstance. This news was a difficult test for the boy, but, nevertheless, he overcame his depression and tried to become the best ninja in the village. In the first episode, the young man dreams of getting the coveted ninja headband, but miserably fails the final exam: Naruto failed to create his own clone.

At the same time, Mizuki, a teacher at the Academy, is trying to trick Naruto into stealing a secret scroll where jutsu are described, and the main character manages to learn the shadow cloning technique in just one night, but has not previously been able to reproduce even one hero identical to himself. Uzumaki deals with Mizuki, thereby showing his abilities to sensei Iruka Umino, who treated him like a younger brother.

Ultimately, Naruto, with grief, passes the Academy's testing and finds himself in the same squad with the girls' favorite Sasuke Uchiha and the beautiful Sakura Haruno. This trio is led by the strong Konoha ninja Kakashi Hatake. Throughout the story, Naruto tries to gain fighting skills and also protects his comrades. The exams were harsh, for example, the students had to face opponents one-on-one, but the hero easily defeated Kiba Inuzuka and his dog Akamaru.

It is noteworthy that the future Hokage has a number of abilities that even a devoted fan will rarely list, because they cannot be counted on one hand. For example, a young man uses the technique of regular or shadow cloning, recreates a ball of destructive chakra (Rasengan), masters the summoning technique, seduction technique, etc.

As for the latter, it looks very funny: Naruto turns into a pretty naked blonde girl who takes any man by surprise with her appearance.

Among other things, this character has changed over time. For example, in the first part of the manga Naruto was 12-13 years old, and in the second he appears before the eyes of readers and viewers as a 15-17 year old boy. His parameters also changed: at first Uzumaki had a height of 145.3–147.5 cm and a weight of 40.1–40.6 kg, while later he grew by 20 centimeters and gained 10 kilograms.

  • Naruto's birthday is October 10th.
  • The name of the main character means “whirlwind” or “whirlpool” in Japanese, and the surname “Uzumaki” means “whirlpool”, “funnel”.
  • There is a “Narutopedia” on the Internet: on this site, fans will learn all the features of this anime, as well as the biography of the characters.
  • Naruto calls Team 10 the "Obaka Trio", which literally means "trio of idiots".
  • Naruto fans come up with fan fiction with this hero (for example, “Uzumaki Demons” or “Naruto Diary. A Week in Female Form”), sometimes even with yaoi content (“yaoi” is a Japanese genre that personifies love relationship between men).

Quotes

“You should never throw your life away, even to help someone.”
“I'm not sure if I have a chance, but it doesn't matter. I still have to give it my all.”
“To achieve something, you need to go to the end.”
“When you’re happy, it’s okay to cry, believe me!”
"Is it possible to be strong - the only reason live? People’s recognition can be earned not only by force!”

I’ll say right away that I gave this anime a nine. Perhaps a little overrated, but I'll try to explain why. I've watched both seasons, so consider this a review of the entire franchise. I just don't want to write two reviews.

Naruto is often called the most overrated anime. But in my opinion, this anime is very underrated. Among people who don't understand anime, Naruto has become synonymous with everything bad about the industry. When you show a person some anime, he says: “This is a cool series, not like some Naruto!” Need I say that none of the people from whom I heard this phrase watched the anime itself?

There are a lot of disadvantages and flaws in Naruto. I am in no way idealizing this work. I must say, most of the shortcomings were corrected in . Here are some of them:
1. The incomprehensible structure of the world. Many questions arise while watching. How does the country's economy work? What is the budget made up of? Does one Hokage personally rule the entire country, where are his assistants, deputies, and leaders of other villages? How does chakra work, why do some people become ninjas and others not?
2. Fillers. There are a lot of them, they are terribly boring and drawn out. Especially in the second season. I recommend that you google the phrase “naruto filler list” and feel free to skip them, you won’t get anything new or interesting from there.
3. Missions. They are too dangerous for children! The life and health of children are treated negligently. I understand that the shinobi world is cruel, but holding exams for schoolchildren where they can be killed is too much. Who came up with the idea of sending children on important missions on which the safety of the village depends? Why didn’t a squad of qualified jounin go to save Sasuke, but a bunch of little ones? Hello, this is a resident of your village, what are you doing there?
4. Naivety. Despite the scenes of cruelty present, there is a lot of friendship, cookies and kindness in the title. Even too much. This is especially true for the second season.

It’s very annoying when the hundredth villain is rehabilitated, realizes everything and everyone forgives him. I don’t care about the hundreds of people killed, he realized that he was wrong!

5. Chat. She takes up more than half of the screen time. Even during a fight, the heroes, instead of washing each other’s faces, mumble and mumble. Of course, the manga chapters are short, but the series is long, so it needs to be stretched out. As a result, one fight between two heroes can last ten episodes. In the second season the situation is much better, the plot has become more lively.
6. Repetitions. Sometimes half an episode can be spent re-establishing what happened before. If the heroes found out important information, then they will repeat it to us twenty times, also with video footage. To say that this is boring is to say nothing.
7. Inappropriate humor, fart jokes.
8. Cheapness in drawing.

So why the rating 9? Because the pros of the series for me personally far outweigh the cons. And the most important advantage of the title is in the title of the series.
1. Naruto. Naruto is a great character and arguably one of the best main characters in the anime industry. For me personally, of course. He has strong convictions and own principles, which he never betrays and goes towards his goal to the end. He is stubborn, mischievous, positive, loyal to friends, kind, keen sense justice, ready to die for his loved ones and for the village. And he remains like this until the end of the series, does not betray his ideals and never once leans towards dark side, despite his difficult youth. Naruto is wonderful positive hero and a great example to follow.
2. Other characters. They are all unique, each with their own unique character and fighting style. The writers did a great job, considering that there are about a hundred characters here. Of course, they have stereotypical features, because any anime is built on archetypes. The best part is that the characters don't stand still. They grow up, become less naive, outgrow their youthful maximalism, while remaining recognizable.
3. Fun. The anime is incredibly interesting and watches in one go. This is, of course, very subjective. I think from the first episodes you will immediately understand whether it’s for you or not. As I already said, each character has his own fighting style. Hundreds different techniques and strategies, a huge variety of abilities. The characters use even the same technique in completely different ways, surprising the viewer each time.
4. Divine OSTs. I don't just mean the opening songs (although they are good too), but the melodies that play in the background. They are very unusual, unconventional and memorable for a long time. I still remember all the OSTs of the first season, even though I watched it two years ago. The OSTs of the second season are much inferior, they have become more standard and faded. I don't remember them.
5. Instructiveness. This one point cancels out all the negatives for me. Naruto is the series that is not scary to show younger brothers and sisters. I first saw this anime when I was 12 years old on the Jetix channel ( sheds a nostalgic tear). We watched the series with a friend and it amazed us. Impressed by the main character, we wanted to do good deeds and help our parents. I remember how we picked up a sick puppy on the street and went out, imagining that this was a mission entrusted to us. Naruto is a kind and positive series, and the main character is an excellent role model for boys and girls. When I have children, I will definitely show it to them.

Shonen - anime and manga are mainly aimed at boys or young men from 12 to 18 years old. But I, an adult aunt, am delighted with this title.

It’s too early for me to express my opinion regarding the Naruto plot, and it’s not worth doing this under the first season, but on the manga page. here it makes sense to discuss the film adaptation itself, which is what I will do now.

To be honest, until I started reading the manga, the anime was bearable. but when, after a long break, I decided to remember the beginning of the story and took up the canonical work, the anime no longer wanted to pay all my attention. I was infuriated mainly by the presentation: on small ones, but important points they don’t make an accent, but protracted and tedious conversations during battles (in worst case– frozen pictures with the face of [character name]) often come to the fore and the entire screen time revolves and revolves around it. annoys? Yes. makes you distracted? still would! I just can’t concentrate, my thoughts run far, far away - in general, you can only digest this season if you speed up the video at least by two.

some points were clearer in the anime, and that's probably the only reason to watch the series from time to time. Well, sometimes you want to savor the soundtrack along with beautifully drawn landscapes.

I didn’t watch the fillers from episodes 136 to 220. maybe one day I will return to them, when I want to spend a little more time with these characters, this story. however, after reading the description of these episodes on Wikipedia, I realized that for now I am not interested in this. It wasn’t in the manga, which means I won’t lose much.

I give the first season 𝟔/𝟏𝟎. To tell the truth, I can’t even imagine why I could give the highest rating.

Many people don’t like watching anime with fillers, especially when they don’t carry any plot significance and are simply useless. This list of Naruto episodes was created for such anime viewers, fillers are highlighted in color. Enjoy watching!

This was the entire list of Naruto Shippuuden episodes, now you can watch the episodes without watching fillers, although some of them are quite interesting, for example, 395-413 - the chunin exam, there are a couple interesting moments in these fillers.

The anime series “Naruto” is a pure greeting from the past, which was relevant a long time ago, and then, under the influx of new acquaintances and interests, faded into oblivion. Then it seemed like forever, but now the understanding comes that it will only last for a long time. And this, frankly, is very pleasing, because it’s nice to realize that what was interesting once upon a time, and today, under a completely different gaze, looks decent, without losing its charm even without the veil of nostalgia.

But at the same time, it’s still convenient to consider something like this now because it’s possible to completely manage the time spent re-acquainting yourself with the series, completely excluding from your viewing unnecessary filler stories that fill both the first season and the second. This feature greatly affected the popularity of the series, due to some particularly stupid and tortured episodes, giving rise to the opinion of it as a low-quality product. However, this is not quite true. Purely the main plot is an exciting and haunting action, telling about everyday themes of friendship, love and betrayal, but under the “sauce” of a long adventure, full of battles and overcoming oneself: everything according to the canons of the “shounen” genre.

"Naruto" is a story about how you should strive for your goals, go towards your dreams, no matter what. This is a work that speaks rather rudely and directly about the motives of the characters, which, of course, does not compliment the screenwriter Masashi Kishimoto. However, at the same time, over time, with the appearance of new characters, the confrontation deepens, the motivation becomes more complex and acquires new details, which makes you sympathize with the heroes more and more. This forms a new layer of Naruto awareness. A layer that demonstrates it as a well-developed and deep narrative in terms of conflicts. This can be compared with other mastodons of the genre, such as, for example, “One Piece” by Eiichiro Oda. If we take the primary arc of Oda’s work, we can see how the conflict does not deepen so much as increase in scale. That is, it does not go in depth, but moves in breadth: the number of heroes taking part in it increases, but the basic conflicts remain on the same basis on which they were introduced at the very beginning. In Naruto, if we also take the first story arc with a mission in the land of waves, the initial understanding of the conflicting parties and their motivations completely change by the end, turning the entire narrative line upside down. The gradual complication of characters and motives improves the viewer’s involvement in the story, which works to improve the relationship between the viewer and the characters in the series, which is why even the least significant moments of the tragedy are felt quite strongly and remain in memory as a significant detail of the series’ history.

On this basis, a special perception of the series is formed. The same as, in fact, it was more than ten years ago. And it’s very nice to know that what worked then still works now. This shows the series as a high-quality and thoughtful product from the point of view of the script, empathy for which is encouraged by “tears of nostalgia,” of course, but even without them everything looks at the highest level.

Of course, this does not make it thoughtful and elaborate in all aspects. For example, the depiction of the series in the episodes that precede large and important plot battles, which require detailed drawing of many frames (that is, creating the “sakuga” moment), is very lame. This is due to the weekly need to release episodes, the constant reduction in production time and other processes of transferring manga to the series. This, of course, creates a need for fillers: so that the mangaka, Masashi Kishimoto, has time to finish drawing a couple more issues of the manga, so that there is something to make a series based on the main plot. And therefore, watching the anime series “Naruto” during its immediate release was, I remember, an extraordinary torment. However, now, I repeat, you can independently generate a list of unambiguous ones for viewing series. And, probably for the same reason, the final assessment of the entire season greatly exceeds what remained in my memory after the final viewing of those 80-90 fillers that had to be at the end of the first season, which essentially ranks from 1st to 136th series.

I think that’s why we can say that time has even benefited the Naruto series. His ideas may have been banal and remained so, but his presentation of these ideas remains something fresh and interesting to this day. Its unique setting and memorable, bright heroes Quite quickly they become familiar and understandable, why you are very oppressed by everything that is in this anime series. Ignoring episodes that do not follow the main plot allows you not to be distracted from the main narrative line and constantly watch the movement through the developing, growing and deepening conflict. Based on these factors, it is pleasant to realize, perhaps not without a bit of subjectivity, that Naruto is an excellent work of Japanese animation. I think this is even the case when non-amateurs oriental style drawing can enjoy the story: the characters are less angular, the style is less hyperbolic, and the motives and confrontations are fundamentally simple and understandable. That back in 2005 this anime was perfect for the role opening remarks to get acquainted with the genre of Japanese animation, which now, in my opinion, remains so. I didn’t expect it, but in the end I was only happy with how decent the series still looks to this day.

P.S. Thank you for your attention.
