But in order to better understand the essence of the group’s creativity, it is worth considering several of its most important and prominent members.

Min Yoongi (Suga)

Suga took the alias Agust D in 2016. Under this pseudonym, he published a free mixtape on SoundCloud on August 15. He decided not to release the project as a commercial studio album, describing it as "feeling like being in some kind of new form" In the mixtape, he addressed issues such as his struggles with depression and social anxiety. Fuse TV rated it one of the 20 best mixtapes of 2016, and the BTS member biography with photos only proves it creative success each of the guys, because only truly sought-after people can have such happy smiles.

In 2017, Suga composed the song "Wine" for singer Suran, with whom he had previously worked on a mixtape single. The recording reached position No. 2 on Gaon Digital and won the award for best track of the Year in the Soul/R&B genre at the Melon ceremony Music Awards December 2, 2017.

In his tracks, Suga speaks openly about mental health and equality for sexual minorities. In 2014, he promised to donate meat and other food for his fans if he also found success as an independent musician. Four years later, he made good on his promise by donating an incredible amount of beef to South Korean orphanages.

According to the biographies of the BTS members, Suga is responsible for lyrics, writing and organizing concerts in the group. More than 70 registered songs are attributed to him by the Korean Music Copyright Association. He is known as a pop singer, rapper and pianist at the same time. His lyrics include themes "full of dreams and hope" (according to critics), as his mission is to instill hope in people. He cites rappers Stony Skunk and Epik High as his inspirations and mentors in the world of hip-hop. In particular, he cited the former reggae-hip-hopper's hybrid album Ragga Muffin (2005) and its title track as one of the things that gave him inspiration and interest in the genre, calling it a completely unique phenomenon in modern music. The biography of each BTS member, however, emphasizes that not only Suga, but all of them are real phenomena in modern popular culture.

Jeff Benjamin of Fuse said Suga's mixtape "showcases the new star's hot temperament, hardcore rap style and amazing ability to turn his weaknesses into strengths."

In January 2018, Suga was announced as a full member of the Copyright Association in Korea.

Jung Ho Seok (J-Hope)

J-Hope released his first solo mixtape, Hope World, on March 1, 2018. The album was received positively by both critics and listeners. His debut at number 63 (and subsequent peak at number 38) made him the top K-pop solo artist on the Billboard 200.

According to the official biography of the BTS members, Jung Ho-seok (aka Jung Ho-seok) was born on February 18, 1994 in Gwangju, South Korea, where he lived with his parents and older sister. He was the third member to join the group in as a trainee after RM and Suga, J-Hope has been involved in the creation process of every album in BTS's discography since then.

His stage name J-Hope (제이홉) came from his desire to represent hope for fans and also be hope for BTS. This is also a reference to the myth of Pandora's Box, as after the box was opened and all the evil inside was released into the world, all that was left for humanity was to remain hopeful.

On March 1, 2018, J-Hope released his first solo mixtape, Hope World, along with a music video for the title track, Daydream. A music video for one of the B-side tracks (the back side of the mixtape) was released on March 6.

The success of his solo debut helped the guy take third place in the Best New Artists ranking and 97th place in the Artist 100 list for the week of March 10 and 91st as of March 17. He is the fifth Korean musician, and the second Korean soloist after Psy, to be included on this list. Biography and photos of BTS members are available on Jung Ho Seok's official website.

sources of inspiration

When it comes to his inspiration, J-Hope cites the adventure novel Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea by Jules Verne, as well as the works of Kyle, Aminé, and Joey Badass as influences on his style and work on The Hope of the World. The idea of peace also served as the basis for most of his texts. The desire to represent the modern generation influenced his work on the music of the group BTS.

BTS (Bangtan Boys, also known as Beyond The Scene) is a Korean K-pop group that is popular among young audiences around the world. The team consists of seven nice guys, whose culture and consciousness were formed under the influence of social networks, with the help of which the boy band “Bulletproof Scouts” loudly declared itself in 2013.

History of creation

The famous South Korean entertainment company Big Hit Entertainment approached the creation of the team scrupulously and, by the standards of world show business, slowly. Since 2010, producers have been recruiting candidates, simultaneously creating a fan cafe long before BTS made their public debut. Initially, the project was conceived as a duet of RM (Rap Monster, real name Kim Nam Joon) and Iron (never entered the group, performed in Show Me The Money), but in the process of casting and auditions it was decided to change the concept to a boy band with a large number of participants.

The formation of the group lasted almost three years, during which the composition was constantly modified and trained. The core of BTS was formed only in 2012. The members of BangTan Boys are: Rap Monster, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, V, Jungkook, Jimin. Unlike his colleagues, Jimin completed his internship in just a year, perhaps because he was the last to join the group. The remaining participants underwent a three-year probationary period.

As trainees (students), the guys themselves composed about a hundred tracks (if rumors are to be believed), and six months before their official debut on stage, they became active users of social networks, posting their compositions on YouTube.

PR using Twitter and presenting songs on the Internet are only part of the campaign invented by the producers. For example, there was also a news channel they made up that actively promoted a parody show starring the BangTan Boys members.

The creativity of BTS is distinguished by the content of its lyrics, which, as stated in the press, are written by the guys themselves. The music for them, the arrangement and production of the numbers is also the work of RM, Suga and J-Hope. It is worth noting that the group sings in both Korean and Japanese.

Jungkook chose GD as an example to follow from a group that performs under the wing of the Big Three (YG) record label, Big Bang. His favorite color is black.

Thanks to his good abilities in everything, Jungkook received the nickname Golden Maknae.

The group BTS, the biography of whose members is presented above, was originally supposed to be a duet and consist of Rap Monster and Iron (now performing solo). But a little later the concept of the team was changed and a group was formed. By the way, Jimin was the last to join her. Moreover, he only had a short internship - one year, while everyone else had three. There are unconfirmed rumors that during the entire time the guys were trainees, they themselves wrote about 100 songs.

When another South Korean group, actually, 2AM, released one of their albums, it included an advertisement for BTS. The participants even joked about this more than once.

As a rule, songs in this group are written by Rap Monster, Hope and Suga. The first one comes up with music for them. Syuga is in charge of the arrangement.

The record company created a fancafe long before the guys debuted. At the time of the first official speech there were only 2 thousand people. Four days after the debut, another 3 thousand joined.

At first, when the boys were first given their name, they thought it was a joke and laughed at it for a long time. During the three years of internship, everyone managed to get used to it. By the way, with English name translated as "bulletproof".

Jongseok (former BTS member), Rap Monster and Suga rewrote the song No More Dream about 22 times (it's their debut). The original version appeared in 2012.
