Many years ago, Magadan teacher Anzhelika Lavetskaya noticed artistry in little Timur. Then he studied at a choir school and showed a desire to play on stage: he successfully performed in tiny roles. First in the fairy tale “The Cockerel”, then in “The Wolf and the Seven Little Goats”, it was staged at the Moscow Central Concert Hall, and he played in “The Inspector General”. After school, Timur studied at the College of Arts. Then service from call to call.

He did not shirk his civic duty, as a real man, Defender of the Fatherland, arrived at the military registration and enlistment office on a summons, and was sent to serve in Vladivostok, in the navy. I understand perfectly what mutual assistance is, male friendship, discipline. These qualities are necessary in our profession. Returning to Magadan, Timur received an invitation to the municipal chapel from Vladimir Barlyaev, of which he is proud. He went to rehearsals three times a week, and soon he was invited to join the theater choir. Since 2010, he began acting in productions.

Timur is the son of Damir Ilgizarovich and Almira Mukhametovna. Arriving in Magadan from Kazan in 1986, at first they lived in a private house on Veselaya.

My father was called to the position of captain of the fleet. He was very busy with work. And I helped my mother with the housework: there was water on the street, at the pump. Heating is stove - wood and coal. And so it was, day after day, until we got a comfortable apartment. After my father’s death, my mother lost her sight, then I even took a break from creativity: I looked after her until she was rehabilitated after the operation,” continues Timur.

Contrary to the existing opinion that it is not customary to talk about plans, I still decide to ask a question. He didn’t shy away from answering, he willingly shares his secrets:

I want to play a negative role. I'm waiting for her. And why? This is a haven for courage, emotions, imagination - in a word, for embodiment. Real creative scope! I always want to please and surprise the audience, send good emotions, improvise, be a cheerful, even satirical character.

I saw him in the role of servants, servile to stupid masters and ladies. The obsequious servants made the children in the hall laugh for a long time without stopping. Such episodes have instructive significance, because the Russians folk tales wise people teach life.

When asked which characters known to a wide range of viewers, say from movies, are close to him in spirit, he readily answers: the trio of Vitsin, Nikulin and Morgunov, Evgeny Leonov. Among the women - Faina Ranevskaya. What about being a role model in your native theater?

Timur Samarkhanov, in addition to fairy tales, is involved in the plays “Reluctant Aristocrats” and “Knightly Passions”. In "Dowry" he was remembered by the audience in the role of Vasily Danilovich Vozhevatov, a dandy from a trading company. Whatever the production, the actor’s soul is wide open.
