After marriage and the birth of children, Alsou began to perform less. In 2009, she hosted the prestigious Eurovision contest, and in 2012 she released a collection of lullabies together with Jasmine, Irina Dubtsova, Tatyana Bulanova and Lera Kudryavtseva.
Then the world heard the second English-language album “Inspired,” after which a Russian-language version of the disc was released, with the lyrics of all songs written directly by the singer. The album was supposed to be released back in 2004, but due to personal reasons its release was postponed for almost 10 years.
In 2014, the album “You are the Light” was released, which made Alsou’s fans incredibly happy: “Alsu grew up very much in creatively. The princess has become a real queen!” critics said about the new product.
In January 2015, the premiere of the video “Can’t Stop Loving” took place, and in October of the same year the video “Where You Are Not” was released.

And for the 70th anniversary of Victory Day, Alsou presented a collection of cover versions of legendary war songs. The track list includes both the girl’s solo parts (“Katyusha”, “Cranes”, “We need one victory” and others) and duets with Joseph Kobzon (“ Dark night"), Lev Leshchenko ("Three Tankers") and Philip Kirkorov ("Alyosha").

More than 600 people were invited to the celebration. The scale of the wedding was amazing: concert hall“Russia” was unrecognizable, because the foyer was draped with purple fabric, and portraits of Alsou and Yan hung on the walls different years. A little later it became known that the singer was expecting a child. The couple decided to give birth to their first child in Los Angeles. On September 7, 2006, a daughter, Safina, was born. Within a couple of months, Alsou appeared on the set New Year's programs and amazed those present with her appearance– the singer looked as if she was not pregnant. A year and a half later, on April 28, 2008, Alsou gave birth to her second daughter Makella, and in August 2016, her son Rafael was born.
