Positive, calm graphics are just right for unobtrusive romantic everyday life. There is nothing superfluous in it: everything fits and harmonizes perfectly.

The backgrounds are great too! They are filled with some kind of calming aura and allow you to completely join the story. Clouds, flowers, trees - all this is presented to the audience in a lamp style, without anything provocative.

While this full-length anime doesn't have an original or amazing story, it's worth watching just for the tranquil visuals.

Haruki Arita is a 14-year-old boy with a short stature and a chubby figure, and also a complete loser with low self-esteem. And even in virtual world was unlucky: Haruka's avatar was completely equal to his capabilities in real world, that is, zero.

But at one point everything changed. One day this little pig met a beautiful princess named Kuroyukihime.

The artists really did their best to end up with good action with elements of romance. It is quite normal for an anime series of this kind to have dynamic and vibrant graphics, but the creators have outdone themselves. The authors also managed to competently use the advantages of computer graphics, which adds obvious charm to the work.

The drawing was able to show us different sides of the work: epic, tragic, romantic.

And the battles in the “Accelerated World” can be described in only one word: “bewitching.” All these effects, sparks, explosions definitely add pathos and epicness. In some ways, the drawing may be similar to the well-known anime “Sword Art Online”.

It is customary that detectives are characterized by dark and mysterious graphics, but this anime breaks the mold. The art looks cute and casual, and in some moments dramatic - everything is right in the spirit of Kyoto Animation. I won’t say that the graphics add a detective atmosphere, but even so, this anime can attract something else.

But many people didn’t like the characters due to the fact that they are very similar to the heroes of the anime “K-ON”, but I don’t think that’s that important. If a person sits down to watch a slow 22-episode detective story, he shouldn't be put off by this kind of character design.

But basically everything looks quite detailed and high quality. The artists decided to make full use of the graphic component in order to reveal the plot.

Studio P. A. Works, as always, surprised the audience with the most beautiful drawings. When watching this anime, you seem to find yourself in the amazing and magical world of the sea. In this work, underwater landscapes and beautiful views sea ​​from different angles. The creators quite accurately managed to convey the maritime atmosphere filled with the romantic adventures of the main characters. Undersea world in this masterpiece it is incredibly beautiful, but the land is not inferior to it at all. I was very surprised by the detail. Not in every work you can find something at the level of graphics shown in Cloudless Tomorrow.

The atmospheric backgrounds are especially surprising while watching. They don't really distract from the action that's happening on the screen. At the same time, these wonderful landscapes indirectly, but allow you to feel the whole setting of this work and immerse yourself in a romantic maritime story with your head.

And the drawing of the characters is a significant plus of this title. All the characters look cute and tasteful. The appearance of each character fits perfectly with their personalities and internal state. I was especially pleased with the eyes: they are very detailed and “deep”, like the ocean.

Although the anime series does have some plot holes and inconsistencies, “When the Sea Calms” is worth watching for the amazing graphics and animation alone.

Many will say that “Tales of Zestria” is another pass-through, which is not particularly amazingly drawn, but I disagree. This anime is one of the first works in which artists quite competently used computer graphics in order to give the image volume. IN in this case the excessive “3D style” does not look inappropriate and poor, but, on the contrary, pleasant and unusual. Thanks to him, the characters seem more alive and not devoid of realistic emotions.

Also, the backgrounds are drawn simply beautifully and magically. The big picture goes well with an amazing fantasy world filled with the spirit of adventure and battle. And the epic battles, not without bright explosions, effects and sharpness, look fascinating, and most importantly - interesting.

And the characters themselves are a treasure trove of amazing and unusual costumes. The characters are really easy to remember. Not in every anime you can find such memorable characters both in character and appearance.

The graphics will definitely allow you to feel like you are in a different, amazing world and enjoy the adventurous and exciting atmosphere.

The graphics in "Crown of Guilt" are certainly one of important aspects with the overall impression of the work. And here it is done at a high level, as expected from the Production A. G studio. The color palette fits perfectly with the main theme and mood of the anime series: depressive, pessimistic and gray. Looking at these dark tones, the whole essence of the work is perfectly conveyed. All this excessive “pessimism” is quite inherent in the “apocalypse” genre, so this should not be surprising. But it is the presentation of this “gloominess” that is executed truly beautifully, and it makes it possible to feel all the depressive emotions and experiences of the characters.

What's surprising is that the main characters stand out so much from general atmosphere: They are bright and expressive. The characters are like the last ray of light that “fights” a completely rotten world, especially Inori.

You can also highlight the realistic emotions of the characters: initially the characters did not openly show their feelings, but throughout the anime the characters opened up, and their emotions began to be shown much more clearly and understandably. From the graphics and animation, one could notice the gradual development of the characters.

The art in this work certainly plays a big role in the perception and feeling of the world of the anime “Celestial Academy”. Excellent graphics give the viewer the opportunity to immerse themselves in a fantasy world filled with romance mixed with mystical overtones. The color palette is so wonderfully chosen: the colors don’t seem too bright or too dull. It’s really not disgusting to look at this kind of art, unlike other anime. The graphics do not have any harsh or unusual shades; the artists were able to depict everything in light and pleasant colors, without adding anything unnecessary.

While watching, you should pay attention to small details: sakura petals, drawing of water, glare. All these seemingly insignificant things play a rather large role in the landscape as a whole. Without these small aspects, the picture would not look so bright and amazing, for which I have my respect for the authors.

And the character design surprised me: the characters do not look similar to characters from other anime, and this work has big differences in terms of character design. All the characters seem unnaturally “pink” and have quite unusual appearance. But even in this situation, the characters look like real people in terms of depicting feelings and emotions.

As in other works of Makoto Shinkai, in the work "Your Name" a large number of attention is paid to drawing. Each frame is really drawn in detail that I even paused the anime to clearly see the beauty of the picture. The graphics in the work allow you to feel the whole mystical and romantic atmosphere shown in “Kimi no Na wa”.

The creators also did a great job with shadows and light: they definitely give the work some realism and depth to the image.

I was especially surprised by the depiction of the sky, mountains, city and village. These details are expressed with particular detail and expressiveness, as if this is the real world. As if there was no barrier between the audience and the anime characters in the form of a monitor.

The drawing and animation of the characters looks no worse than the elaboration of the landscapes. Heroes have their own appearance, which shows their characters and inner world. Each character is different from the other, and even most of the secondary characters have some visible peculiarity.

I also really liked the perfect elaboration of the characters’ eyes: they seem to reflect the soul of a person, so that they seem like living people.

The Kyoto Animation studio, as always, surprised anime fans with an amazing visual component, which is seasoned with cuteness and cuteness. From the first minutes, this masterpiece transports viewers as if to another reality. Small parts in the form of sakura petals or clouds are drawn wonderfully and look like real ones, which cannot but surprise. High level details and bright, eye-pleasing graphics give an incredible feeling after viewing. It is clear that the creators of “The Shape of Voice” spared neither money nor effort in creating this masterpiece.

The creators were able to convey the feelings and emotions of the characters just as beautifully, and most importantly, realistically. Looking at the hopeless tears of the characters, I wanted to support them, and sometimes I wanted to shed a tear myself. Even a deaf girl was able to experience the same emotions as ordinary people, although her inner world was completely different from the world of other heroes.

If you ask the author of the article to recommend interesting anime with an exciting plot, he will be forced to capitulate to such a simple answer. This is because the concept of fascination and entertainment in any work is a purely individual thing.

For some, One Peace, Code Geass and Death Note, for another aerobatics is Bakemonogatari or the films of Makoto Shinkai. Perception is a rather whimsical and capricious thing.

But we will be objective (or at least try) and give a rough assessment of those series that meet the criteria and were released not so long ago.

Re:Zero (Life from scratch in an alternate world)

Anime s interesting plot and quite an exciting story. You can complain as long as you like about the shortcomings of the series, which for many are not such. This includes the long chewing of the first two arcs, these are the hysterics and sometimes illogical behavior of the main character in the third act.

But all this does not negate the fact that the story itself, like its characters, is captivating, and what is happening is intriguing. It would seem that, ordinary story about falling into another world. But the universe itself, the relationships between the characters, are presented smoothly, without sudden shifts or unexpected pianos in the bushes.

For this we must thank the author of the original light novel, who through his efforts created such a well-thought-out world. We can only hope that what happened to the School of the Dead will not happen to Subaru’s adventures. But this is unlikely to happen.

91 days

An anime with a strong and complete plot, which is a mafia action movie set in America during Prohibition.

The main advantage of this work is the surroundings and the original script, which does not have any source behind it. If this were an adaptation of another book by a Japanese novelist, the series would have turned into one of many that ended somewhere in the middle towards the finale or, worse, at the very beginning.

And so, quite an exciting animated movie in the spirit of Western films about personal revenge with a fair amount of noir, shooting, betrayal and a pinch of humor. Of course, there were some interesting moves and intrigues.

The City Where I Am Not (Boku dake ga Inai Machi)

Another anime with a strong plot, and just like 91 Days, it comes to a logical conclusion. What happens if you combine the Butterfly Effect, a detective thriller with a murderer and add social drama. The result will be Boku dake.

Other advantages include pleasant and unique art, an unusual atmosphere, dark (literally on the verge) moments that intersect with very touching events. And all this is flavored with a great ending, which is impossible to predict until the very end.

Probably not only one of the best anime with a twisting plot, but also practically superior to any in 2016. Recommended to everyone who is tired of ordinary schoolchildren, hit and misses, and those who just want to have a good time watching a good and high-quality series.

Heroes of the Six Colors (Rokka no Yuusha)

A sad example of what happens to interesting works by authors with an unusual setting that do not find popularity among the masses. No matter how unfortunate it is, it seems that Rokka no Yuusha will not only never get a second season, but also a continuation in the form of books.

And this is both depressing and angry at the same time. After all, the plot, characters and their interaction are captivating, and the story is so thoughtful that from time to time while reading you think about the question: did the writer come up with the whole plot in advance? Just look at the unexpected twists and turns at the end of each volume.

But, as was said above, apparently the viewer will never see a sequel to the adventures of the brave heroes of the six colors, not only in the form of an animated film adaptation, but also in the form printed edition.

Nonsense (Zaregotozukai)

An anime with a good plot and interesting drawing, which is divided into several arcs united by several characters. The narration is told by a boy whose name is not mentioned, and the whole plot is built on revealing the secret of some mysterious case, most often related to murder.

Anime has a lot of text and dialogue. So much that sometimes you remember the author of this work and the studio that decided to film all this obscenity (in fact in a good way this word).

If you want a wildly twisted plot with a detective component, with a minimum of action and maximum immersion in the atmosphere and events taking place, then it is highly recommended to watch, since the first arc has already been completed.

Anime has been popular with people of all ages and nationalities throughout its existence. This is, in a way, a touch of Japanese culture, which is distant for many. For the Japanese themselves, anime is an integral part of their life, so the plots for animated films are written by the best screenwriters, the graphics are drawn by talented artists, and the films themselves turn into multi-part epics due to their success with viewers.
