Bi-2 will present the show “Event Horizon” at the Olimpiysky!
On September 29, 2017, Bi-2 released the album “Event Horizon,” which was in the TOP-10 iTunes until mid-March 2018.
A world tour in support of the record started in October 2017. During the first 2 months of tours in 2017 and since February 2018, Bi-2 played more than 40 sold-out concerts. The Moscow presentation of the album took place on November 25, 2017 at the VTB Ice Palace - this performance was called “ Best concert of the Year" at the award ceremony music award"Chart's Dozen."
The show on November 25 was attended by 12,000 spectators, but not all fans were able to get to the VTB Ice Palace, so Bi-2 will again present “Event Horizon” in Moscow - now at the Olimpiysky!
The Bi-2 concert at the Olimpiyskiy will take place on October 27, 2018.
“Event Horizon” will become even more spectacular and large-scale - and it’s not just the size of the venue, which this time will be able to accommodate more than 20,000 Bi-2 fans. Especially for the Moscow show at the Olimpiyskiy, an updated set design and a new video series are being prepared, which will be broadcast on a unique rotating screen measuring 22 X 4 meters (semicircle radius 11 meters), designed and created specifically for the Event Horizon tour.
And of course, the audience of the Moscow concert “Event Horizon”, as always, will be treated to high-quality live 4.1 sound and cosmic light show, developed specifically for the Bi-2 tour.

Special guest – Midnight Faces (US)
Special guest the show “Event Horizon” at the Olimpiyskiy will become American band Midnight Faces, formed in the early 2000s by composer Matt Doty and vocalist Philip Stancil. To the music of Midnight Faces big influence contributed by synth-pop and post-punk projects and performers of the 80s.
The Midnight Faces discography includes 3 albums: Fornication (2013), The Fire is Gone (2014) and Heavenly Bodies (2016) - one of the favorites on this moment Shura Bi-2 records.
Viewers of Bi-2 concerts have heard Midnight Faces tracks more than once - some of the team’s songs are played before the Event Horizon show in all cities of the tour. And guests of the performance at the Olimpiysky will be able to hear and see the Americans Midnight Faces LIVE - October 27.

The rock group "Bi-2" has concerts planned in 2018 across all major cities Russia.
The founders and current members of the group Shura and Lyova began their work in 1988 in the Belarusian city of Bobruisk, however active work continued only in 1999 after the guys moved to the Russian Federation.
Gradually, the Bi-2 repertoire was replenished with new songs and the group began to be invited to perform in clubs and festivals in Moscow.
In the early 90s, the team's style changed. The members of the group give preference to high-quality arrangements and acoustic sound. This is how the hits “Varvara” and “With You” were written. The name also changed: “Brothers in Arms” - to “Coast of Truth”, and then to “Bi-2”.
Now many years have passed since the tour of festivals in Belarus, and tickets to the concerts of the Bi-2 group are steadily sold out by an army of thousands of fans.
In the 90s, the guys also visited Israel and Australia. At first, they took on various part-time jobs, in particular, as security guards at a construction site. At the same time, they were engaged in creativity: they performed with the band “Chiron” and wrote songs.
From the stage of the Olympic Stadium, as part of the concert on October 27, “Bi-2” will be performed by all the most popular hits and new compositions.
Most of The tracks included in the group's albums were recorded at the Parametrica studio under the direction of sound engineer Sergei Bolshakov.
The band's fame could have come back in Australia. There Shura and Lyova met Andrei Makarevich. He listened to the guys’ demo recording and handed it over to Alexander Kutikov, the bassist of “Time Machine” and the head of the recording company “Sintez Records”. However, he decided not to take on the promotion of Bi-2, since the cost of failure was quite high.

So in musically The band's fans were prepared, many even managed to learn all the songs of the new album by heart. But life did not prepare us for what happened on stage. But first things first, friends.
The evening at the Ice Palace was opened by a guest and close friend of the team - American singer and songwriter John Grant(John Grant), whom everyone has already recognized from the “borscht horror” - video clip for the composition Whiskey. An ardent fan of the Russian language and culture, Grant communicated with the public mainly in Russian, and did it so skillfully that one could suspect the singer of espionage. He introduced his musicians, constantly apologizing for mistakes in pronouncing Russian names and surnames, sat down at the keyboard and performed his program of 7 songs. John said that his dream had come true - to perform here in front of us. He thanked all the spectators, as well as Shura Bi-2 for the invitation to speak.
And here, after the introduction of our American friend, we saw at the rearrangement what a huge and professional team is working on creating this grandiose show: a lot of stage workers, a lot of people at the control panel, and everyone is responsible for the sound, light, instruments, cameras , in general, everything was up to standard and worked without interruptions. Expectation B2 It took a little longer, but it was worth it. In addition, filming of the concert took place that evening. The show was filmed by 15 cameras, one of which kept flying over the fans' heads. All this splendor will soon turn into a full-fledged concert film, which will also include behind-the-scenes moments.
But that’s all later, but for now we go back to the Ice Palace, where the starry sky appears in an arch above the stage, changing its perspective and turning into a huge screen. Under symphonic music, through the stars, meteor showers and all sorts of other space obstacles, the Bi-2 musicians and the downed pilot on a spaceship end up on Earth. On the sides of the stage there are two large screens, so that everyone in every corner of the palace is visible important points, captured by skillful camera operators. Everyone is in place: Lyova and Shura Bi-2, Andrey Zvonkov on the throne, Max Lakmus, Boris Lifshitz and the one-man orchestra Yan Nikolenko.
“One of the most important tracks on the record” Pilot set the mood not only for the entire album, but also for the entire concert. Lev in a flight suit, red light and video elements emerging from the graphics set up the perception of the action as one whole. In fact, the peculiarity of this show is that the sound is so voluminous that sometimes you cannot understand from what depths or heights it comes. But if you perceive the sound as it is, completely and without regard, then regarding visual perception- you begin to envy the fly. Indeed, you need to have time to look at the stage, at the musicians, and embrace the screens, and then make several more turns around its axis, then looking at the huge hall of the Ice Palace, which turns into starry sky, covered with lantern lights ( My rock and roll); then the band's symbols - mice and bunnies - are dancing merrily around the entire circumference - this time red in honor of the album ( Likes); then in general the entire space is filled with multiple reflections of rays from eight disco balls, turning the entire space into a fairy tale ( Slippery streets). What a space it is! Here it is all in front of you, just have time to turn around.
The stage design and pyrotechnics, which were legally married to the visuals, deserve a special mention. Black Sun made everyone and everything burn, including Shura’s guitar, and the Bell on his ominous throne of thrones looked impressive and omnipotent. Childhood also ended in fire.
It should also be mentioned that all the songs on the album Event Horizon were played at the concert - and even in the same order in which they are located on the record. Only distinguished herself Alice, which has been moved slightly up for convenience.
The guys talked quite a bit and did more; often thanked the audience for the incredible reception, which was logical after such a gift in the form of this bright show. Prayer led to a general wave with their hands, and the chorus was sung together. Ian also did not miss the opportunity, having talked to his heart’s content with each member of his team, to play with both his instrument and his face on camera. Then Shura struck up familiar chords and the audience howled, greeting Eternal ghostly oncoming, which instead of fire was accompanied by smoke, and Zvonkov on the throne filled the entire stage.
The song turned out to be very frank for everyone Philosopher's Stone . Lyova, already wet from all his body movements, sang to us about where he can be real and where “there is no need to pretend to be someone.” And the huge background screen showed absolutely different people who created, decorating the world and themselves. At the next darkening and fading of the music, especially cheerful spectators begin to suggest and hint: “ Big cities", but no, comrades, be patient and enjoy our favorite flash mob. The likes of the Bi-2 group in the form of red mice and bunnies fly up, all this in pink light creates a rather nice atmosphere.
And now the time has come to call comrade John, who managed to change his concert jeans to a tailcoat with a top hat and a cane. In the meantime, our foreign guest’s name was changed appearance and appeared as a Bear. And so, against the backdrop of Khokhloma and dancing populists, all this borscht bacchanalia took place called Whiskey: Shura and the Bear are spinning in a dance, Grant is in a top hat... Mishka’s cheerful dances are simply touching, and given the soloist’s ability to move well, the Bear turned out to be extremely flexible. On this wave, our Bear became so involved in the image and dance that he managed to bite someone with his mouth. Oh, dear victim, we all envy you.
And while the tired but happy musicians went to get themselves in adequate shape, Shura thanked the Moscow fans and called on everyone to help the children together with the Konstantin Khabensky Foundation - in the corridors of the Palace, volunteers collected funds for the treatment of children. The next two songs went to Shura - My rock and roll, which only the lazy did not sing, and the hall was drowned in lights, and the mysterious Alice. And Lyova had already left the image of the Bear and returned to the stage, and Bi-2 was ripping out a song from the new album It's time to go home together with Oxxxymiron, who appeared on the screen behind the musicians.
For me personally, my first song Bi-2, with which all love began, was a gift - Varvara. Leva with acoustic guitar, and the chorus, of course, is known to everyone.
On the song I don't care the background screen revealed the half-forgotten but always relevant Mr. Freeman to the world, and then it was filled with televisions broadcasting footage from the most stupid and meaningless entertainment programs domestic channels. In the Motherland, all the possibilities of sound could be felt immediately, but we’ll probably leave the revelations about a sweet home - “It’s impossible to stop loving the Motherland for free” - without comment. Leva came out onto the platform to look everyone in the eyes; then everyone gradually left, leaving spaceship on takeoff into the starry sky to the sounds of instruments fading one after another. But our people don’t give up so easily: it’s only ten in the evening, it’s early to go home, and where is the colonel, after all?
At some point, from the frantic squeals of those nearby, you can understand that someone is entering the stage in the dark. And yes, it was Boris, who gave everyone an incredibly lively drum solo. As soon as the drums can withstand its pressure. I immediately remembered the joke about how two button accordions were torn. Boris started the Ice Palace: he played for the audience, it seemed like he could see who was not actively clapping. Juggling and twirling the sticks this mad man brought out the heat for the entire concert. “A good animator has disappeared,” I thought. And it’s good that he disappeared - how would we live without such a drummer. According to tradition, at the end of the solo you can throw your sticks into the audience. This is where a desperate surprise was hidden - it seemed like he had thrown two away, but there were still some in the stash. In the end, we counted 12 shelves; keeping a couple for himself, the musician played again, and then again, and it turned out that the supply of sticks was endless. Then the guys pulled themselves up and burst out Heart. Yes, Boris, you broke everyone’s hearts irrevocably. But the surprises didn’t end there - Leva went to the people. While the soloist sings: “I’m dying,” the thought flashes through my head: suicide, come back alive. The guys don't take care of the soloist. Here he finally escaped from the tenacious hands of fans with a flower in his teeth.
And finally, Nobody writes to the Colonel— rejoice, active stranger to my left. At this point everything was lit up: both the musicians and the audience, the hall was filled with shiny raindrops of confetti - everyone was childishly happy. The final track was a romantic composition Silver, which was sung by the chorus and Ian presented a beautiful theatrical flute solo. Bow, “Moscow, thank you, you are the best,” photo for memory.
