Big win in the lottery. The biggest winnings in Russia

There are more than 2,500 species of snakes on our planet. They can be found everywhere except Antarctica and a few islands such as New Zealand and Ireland, and there are also none on the small islands of the Atlantic and Pacific (its central part) oceans. However, among all the snake diversity, only 10% are poisonous.

Poisonous snakes use venom for hunting to kill their prey, but they can also bite for defense purposes, but before attacking they most often try to warn the enemy about this. Snakes swallow their prey whole, without chewing it, and so that the victim does not resist and does not complicate the swallowing process, the snake stings it, injecting its poison. By the way, a snake’s defensive bite contains significantly less toxic substance than a bite during a hunt.

Taipans

Taipans (lat. Oxyuranus) - very poisonous Australian snakes from the asp family, which include only two species: the cruel snake (lat. Oxyuranus microlepidotus) and taipan (lat. Oxyuranus scutellatus). These are quite large snakes. Their bite is considered very dangerous, even the most dangerous among all modern snakes living on Earth. Until the antidote was discovered (in 1955), people died from the bite of these snakes in 90% of cases.

Cruel (fierce) snake (lat. Oxyuranus microlepidotus) can reach up to 1.9 m in length. It can be found in the dry lowland fields of Central Australia, where it preys on small mammals and frogs. The venom of a cruel snake may well be enough to kill 100 adults. For comparison, its venom is approximately 180 times stronger than that of a cobra.

Taipan or coastal taipan (lat. Oxyuranus scutellatus) - this large (3-3.5 m in length) representative of asps differs from its predecessor in its bad disposition and is considered one of the most aggressive snakes. The taipan is especially dangerous during periods of skin change and reproduction. Found in northeastern Australia and New Guinea. Having bitten once, the mamba tends to bite several more times. Being the owner of such speed, the mamba often chases its prey rather than sitting in ambush. In one bite, the mamba injects up to 400 mg of poison. The lethal dose for an adult is about 10-15 mg. Its poison causes paralysis and death.

Tiger snake

Tiger snake(lat. Notechis scutatus) - another representative of the adders and a resident of Australia. Although it is a small (up to 2 m) snake, it is very poisonous. Small animals bitten by it die instantly. The danger lies in the fact that it is found almost throughout Australia and is one of the most numerous snakes inhabiting this continent.

Nosed enhydrina

Nosed enhydrina (lat. Enhydrina schistosa) is a poisonous inhabitant of the tropical Indo-Pacific region. Although it is a poisonous snake, it has a rather peaceful character. Seeing a fisherman at sea, he prefers to move away from him. The venom of this snake is 4-8 times more toxic than that of a cobra. The lethal dose for humans is about 1.5 mg of poison. Its venom contains strong neurotoxins.

Sandy efa

Sandy epha (lat. Echis carinatus) is a poisonous snake from the viper family. This small snake (50-60 cm in length) lives in clay and loess deserts, near river cliffs and in bush thickets of Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan, as well as Africa, Algeria, Palestine, Persia, Arabia and in the western part of the Hindustan Peninsula . African boomslang

African boomslang (lat. Dispholidus typus) is a highly venomous snake native to South and South-West Africa. Its poison is toxic: when it enters the bloodstream, it destroys the cells of the body. The venom of the African boomslang is 2 times more dangerous than the venom of the Indian cobra and viper. It is a very aggressive snake, so you should not approach it or commit sudden movements– he will attack without hesitation.

Black snake

Black snake (lat. Pseudechis porphyriacus) - this large snake (up to 3 meters long) is feared by all residents of Australia, since its bite is fatal to humans. It is considered a “record holder” for the amount of poison released.

Bushmaster

Bushmaster (lat. Lachesis muta) is a poisonous large snake (up to 4 m in length), living in South America. Bushmaster venom is dangerous to human life, but the mortality rate is not high - 10-12%. Has a paralytic effect.

Common viper

Common viper (lat. Vipera berus) is a poisonous snake from the genus of true vipers. Lives in Eurasia. Its bite is very painful, but rarely leads to death. Hemorrhagic swelling and necrosis occurs at the site of the bite. Signs of poisoning: dizziness, lethargy, headache, nausea, shortness of breath. In especially severe cases, degenerative changes in the kidneys and liver may occur.

Ruzel's Viper

Ruzel's viper (lat. Daboia russelii russelii) - common in Sri Lanka. It is considered dangerous, although not so poisonous. The thing is that where it lives, they do not produce an antidote, so many local residents die from its bites.

Today, about two and a half thousand snakes can be found on Earth, but only 250 species pose a mortal danger. Every year, about five million people around the world suffer from their bites, 3 percent of those bitten die, and about 5% become disabled. Today we will tell our readers about the most dangerous and poisonous snakes that exist on earth.

What is the most poisonous snake in the world?

10.

In most cases, the poison will not cause danger, because very weak, but there have been cases when people died after a while. Therefore, if a bite occurs, you need to seek help, even if the location of the bite does not bother you.

9.

The poison is several times stronger than the venom of a viper and when it enters the bloodstream, it almost immediately destroys the cells of the body. Scientists conducted an experiment on ducks. After being bitten by this snake, they experienced paralysis within 1-2 minutes, and after 15 minutes they died. Most often they can be found in Africa, on branches and in bushes.

8. Oriental or harlequin asp

Dangerous to human life. If medical assistance is not provided within 24 hours after the bite, the likelihood of death is very high. Length from 90 to 100 cm, they can most often be found in the southern United States, feeding on insects and lizards.

7.

The next snake belongs to the viper family and is called Sandy Efa. It feeds on small rodents, sometimes birds, and most often lizards and scorpions. Average length from 55 to 60 cm, in some cases up to 75 cm.

6.

The snakes listed above are found on land, but this one can be found in the water. It is considered not aggressive, but even so its venom is 5-6 times stronger than the venom of a cobra. Capable of diving to a depth of one hundred meters and staying there without air for about five hours. You can meet her off the coast of India, the Arabian Sea and also on the islands of Madagascar.

5.

The venom is less toxic than that of previous snakes, but a larger amount of venom is injected when biting. It is less aggressive, in 80 percent of cases it stalks its prey in ambush.

4.

A very aggressive and poisonous snake; when bitten, 50 percent of people die, even if a special vaccine is used. You can find them in small burrows, bushes, and also in private houses, where they very often crawl. Habitat: South Asia and Australia.

3. Taipana - Oxyuranus scutellatus

One of the three most poisonous snakes on the planet. Its length ranges from three to 3.5 meters, and big teeth 1 cm long, such an amount of poison is injected that the victim dies within a few minutes. Most often found in Australia.

2.

It ranks second in the ranking of the most poisonous snakes. The main food is small mammals. Also found in Australia, it is most often found in fields and dry plains. One bite can kill about a hundred people or a quarter of a million mice.

1. Tiger snake - the most poisonous snake in the world

She received this name because of her tiger coloring.

With one bite it can kill 400 people.

After the poison enters the blood, literally within a few seconds it paralyzes all nerve endings and the victim dies due to cardiac arrest.

It lives in Australia and mainly feeds on birds, frogs and mice.

One female can give birth to at least 50 baby snakes.

Up to two meters long.

The chance of a person surviving a bite is very small, but in any case it is necessary to seek help as soon as possible, or try to suck out the poison from the bite site yourself.

For one marketing experiment, I needed to win money in the lottery. Not just to play, but to win. And I managed to do it on the 1st try. It's real to win the lottery...

Before May 6th, I had not played the lottery except perhaps on a few occasions. But when it happened and with what result, I can’t even remember. I recently became acquainted with the topic of lotteries while studying generators random numbers and their implementation on different languages programming.

Then I decided to conduct a small experiment in the field of Internet marketing, and for this I needed to win something in the lottery.

Is it possible to win money in the Russian lottery?

He approached the matter thoroughly, remembered combinatorics, looked at the calculations of the chances of winning the lottery. I realized that winning some amount in the lottery is quite possible.

For example, from calculations it turns out that the return on funds for the Gosloto 5 out of 36 lottery is approximately a third. And the probability of a minimum win is 1 in 8. These patterns work for “big numbers”. Therefore, I decided to immediately buy a pack of 10 tickets with a reserve. I used the Stoloto website for this purpose.

Tickets filled using a random number generator for different lotteries with even distribution.

I didn’t use any tricky options for filling in by type only even or odd.

After the drawing, it turned out that 1 ticket won, this is quite consistent with the calculated probability of 1 in 8. But the winning amount is quite remarkable - 800 rubles. And I spent exactly 800 rubles to buy 10 tickets. It turned out that I played almost without losses. The math went a little wrong :-).

These are the lucky numbers.

For example, Qiwi money. To do this, you needed to send your passport data and TIN.

Withdrawals are made through the WalletOne payment system with a commission of 2.9%.

There was some hiccup in the operation of the output form, but in general everything went without problems. The amount minus the commission was received within a few minutes.

A winning of 800 rubles was received. It's possible to win the lottery, but is it possible to make money from it?

Chance to win money in the lottery

I’ll show you how to calculate the probability of winning the lottery using an example. Gosloto 5 of 36. For 5 numbers you get an accumulating super prize. For 4 days and beyond, fixed amounts.

  • 4 numbers - 8,000 rubles
  • 3 numbers - 800 rubles
  • 2 numbers - 80 rubles

The probability of matching 5 out of 36 numbers in Gosloto and winning the jackpot is 1:376,992. General formula simple. The probability that one number from our 5 will appear is 5/36. Next, for the 4th number - 4/35, 3 numbers - 3/34, 2nd numbers - 2/33, 1st number - 1/32. Next, these probabilities need to be multiplied among themselves, since the events of balls falling out are independent: (5*4*3*2*1)/(36*35*34*33*32) = 1/(9*7*17*11* 32) = 1/376,992. The general formula for the number of combinations is C(5,36) = 36!/(5!*(36-5)!) = 376,992.

Next, for 4 numbers out of 5 you need a probability the right choice 5 numbers multiplied by the number of possible options to correctly guess 4 numbers out of 5, this is 5 options multiplied by 31 or 155. We get (1/376,992)*155 = 1/2,432.

General formula C(n,m)*C(m-n,x-m), where n is the number of numbers to win, m is the number of numbers available for selection, x is total number numbers. According to the formula for 3 numbers it is 5*31*30*(1/376,992) or 1/81, for 2 numbers it is 5*31*30*29*(1/376,992) or 1/8.

  • jackpot (5 numbers) – 1:376,992
  • 4 numbers - 1:2 432 (155/376 992)
  • 3 numbers - 1:81 (4,650/376,992)
  • 2 numbers - 1:8 (134,850/376,992)

Thus, it turns out that approximately every 8th ticket is a winner.

Next, we will calculate the average percentage of return on investments in the 5 out of 36 lottery, taking into account the probabilities of winning. Let's assume we bought 2,432 tickets (for this moment ticket costs 80 rubles). It turns out we spent 194,560 rubles. From the calculations above, we will get on average 1 lucky four, 30 threes and 300 twos. Multiply by amounts possible winnings(1*8,000 + 30*800 + 300*80) = 56,000 rubles.

The return percentage is approximately 28.78% (56,000/194,560 = 0.2878).

Let's look at the statistics of circulation No. 6597. 5644 tickets were sold at 80 rubles, a total of 451,200 rubles. The amount of payments is 197,920 rubles.

  • 5 numbers - 0
  • 4 numbers - 3 or 24,000 rubles
  • 3 numbers - 125 or 100,000 rubles
  • 2 numbers - 924 or 73,920 rubles

In this draw, the actual probability of guessing 4 numbers was 3/5644 or approximately 1/1881, 3 numbers - 1/45, 2 numbers - 1/6. The return rate was approximately 43.87%. Discrepancies with theory can be explained by the fact that the mathematics described above works on “large numbers”, it is necessary to consider larger number circulations. Plus, when calculating the percentage of returns, the probability of winning the jackpot was omitted, but it is still not zero: 1/376,992 - this is approximately 0.00002653%.

Also, from the calculations presented above, it is clear why I was lucky to win 800 rubles, in the draw there was a very high probability of guessing the 3rd number 1:45 instead of 1:81, probably the organizers' lottery RNG went haywire :-).

Is it possible to earn money by playing the lottery online?

If you play, there is a chance, but it is very small. It’s not for nothing that this article was published in the financial adventures section. You also need to take into account the costs of commissions for withdrawing and depositing money into the system, as well as the need to pay a 13% tax on winnings.

And if you organize your own lottery, your chances of making money greatly increase. It is important to carefully allocate revenue between marketing, winnings, costs and profits. You also need to use a high-quality random number generator.

It’s just difficult to promote the lottery so that your number of participants grows, and as a result, revenue and profit. Above, we calculated the refund for players to be 28.78%, which means that the revenue of the game organizers is 71.22% of the circulation turnover. At large quantities sold lottery tickets Quite decent sums accumulate. Even taking into account the fact that half of this amount usually goes to the super prize fund, which no one wins for months.

As a result, for operating expenses, advertising and profit we get 35.61% of the amount of tickets sold in the circulation. 1 ticket costs 80 rubles. We sold 10,000 tickets, that’s 800,000 rubles. The organizers will most likely end up with 284,880 rubles. It is difficult for me to estimate the exact costs of attracting players, since there are not even approximate data for this.

But given the fact that many people play very enthusiastically and for a long time, it is quite possible that the share of advertising costs is not so large. Even I am almost not a gambling person, and even after winning, I doubted and thought about another attempt to play the lottery. But then I finally discarded this idea :-), it was not for nothing that I studied probability theory at the university.

There is another option for making money on lotteries - selling super successful winning strategies. But this is already in the category of fraud. Since there are simply no secret calculations, lottery mathematics is open and accessible to almost everyone.

In fact, lottery organizers don’t even need to invent any gray schemes; mathematics works for them without it. Therefore, it is beneficial for lottery owners to use high-quality random number generators with uniform distribution. And talk that lottery organizers are falsifying the numbers is unfounded. If used in pranks non-random numbers, then this can be detected and exploited in order to obtain large winnings.

There are also a number of algorithms that can exploit random number generator vulnerabilities. But even if they increase the probability of winning, it is only slightly, since modern RNGs have good characteristics.

Lottery is one of the most popular gambling where you can win real money. But is it possible to win the lottery in Russia? And is it possible to make money from it?

It's no secret that lottery winners are determined by chance. That is, these are people who managed to pull out happy ticket and they don’t know about it until the numbers are drawn.

In 2016, as many as 3 Americans managed to hit the jackpot in one lottery draw. Powerball". Each participant's winnings amounted to $528 million, and in total they took home $1.5 billion.

It later became known that all three people played Powerball regularly, which allowed them to eventually guess all the numbers.

But is there a lottery in Russia that pays money without cheating? — Let's look at the history of the last big winnings that were paid to the Russians.

Big lottery wins in Russia

Of course, in Russia no one won billions of dollars in the lottery; our victories are much smaller. But this is all due to the fact that tickets are cheaper and people are less willing to participate in lotteries.

It's no secret that the lottery is always in the black, and the jackpot is formed from part of the income from the sale of tickets. But still in Russia there were lottery wins where crazy money was shining.

Stoloto (formerly Gosloto)

Stoloto has a game 6 out of 45, where people who guess the numbers win money. If you match just 6 numbers out of 45, then you automatically hit the jackpot, which sometimes accumulates over years.

In Russia, Stoloto is considered the largest lottery, where every year people appear who rip off large bank, let's look at the latest cases.

  1. Nikolai from Novosibirsk, who works as a doctor, was able to win a record amount for a lottery in Russia - 358 million rubles! As he explained later: I have been participating in this lottery for several years and stick to my tactics, I did not think that I could win such a big jackpot.
  2. In 2014, Valery from Omsk became a record holder because he was able to win 184.5 million rubles by guessing all 6 numbers out of 45!
  3. And in 2009, Albert Begrakyan was able to win 100 million rubles, which was a record at that time. He also regularly participated in circulations and believed in luck!

Russian lotto

Unlike others, " Russian lotto" is TV lottery, where the current jackpot already exceeds 100 million rubles, and the ticket price is 50 rubles.

The biggest win in Russian Lotto happened a long time ago and amounted to 29.5 million rubles. He was a young man from Yaroslavl, although his identity was not revealed.

Bingo

Bingo is the third largest lottery in Russia. Its essence is that you would be the first to match all 15 numbers that come out. There are always many winners in this lottery. That's why apartments and cars are often raffled off.

Do you still doubt that you can win the lottery in Russia? It may not be possible to break a big bank, but it is always possible to recoup the cost of tickets and earn money to buy new ones!

There are quite a few methods and beliefs that lottery players use. The first come up with their own formula, the second guess the date of birth, and the third bet on the same numbers. But what is most effective?

If you look at the last 100-200 draws of one of the lotteries, it will become obvious that different numbers in random order. However, some facts can be noted.

3 rules that have helped many winners:

  1. You need to choose reliable lottery organizers that are known to everyone (in a good way);
  2. To increase your chances of winning, choose the 5 out of 36 or 6 out of 45 lottery (where quite a few people have already won);
  3. Buy tickets regularly in each draw, but without fanaticism (no more than 10 pieces).

One of the last big lottery winners also said that he noticed a trend that popular combinations of numbers “1-30” are chosen more often than others.

Since some people guess different dates, it is therefore worth avoiding these combinations so that if the numbers are guessed, the money will be divided among fewer people.

When looking at the statistics of big lottery wins, you will notice that most of them happened from November to March. That is, at this time there are more participants in the lottery, which makes there a greater chance that someone will hit the jackpot.
