I, Anatoly Ageichik, a ninth grade student at Zaslavskaya high school No. 1. Standing at the very beginning of the big life path, I often wonder - who to be?

For young man, which enters adult life, it is very important to do right choice. And if choosing a profession is, first of all, a project own life, then participation in public life- this is the choice of the future of our Motherland.

As a member of the Belarusian Republican Youth Union, I actively participate in the life of the school and city, I strive to be in demand, heard, and understood. It was my active life position that helped me become a member of the Youth Parliament at the Minsk Regional Council of Deputies.

I know that in our school the primary organization of the Republican public association"White Rus'". How does the “primary” live, what are the views and beliefs of its members, what are their plans for the future? I addressed these questions to my teachers - members of Belaya Rus.

I addressed my first question to the director of our school, Svetlana Aleksandrovna Boblevskaya.

- What does “Belaya Rus” mean to you?

- This is an organization that has brought together thousands of like-minded people who strive to make our region more beautiful, to make our country prosperous, to make people live better. This is a union of caring people, we care what happens around us, how other people live, how our country is developing.

- What are the areas of activity of the “primary”?

There are a lot of them and they are all equally important to us. But the leading activity of the “primary” is to educate the younger generation of national and civic self-awareness, respect for the history, culture and traditions of their people, the heroic past of the city and the Motherland, as well as caring for veterans and preserving the continuity of generations.

- What “primary” cases can you tell us about?

The arsenal of our cases is diverse, I will list only a few. It should be noted the active work of our “primary” in developing skills healthy image life. Special attention focuses on holding joint events with students and parents. Days of health, sportslandia, and “Fun Starts” are regularly held between teams of parents, students and teachers. Members of the primary organization are constantly disseminating information about the dangers of alcohol, nicotine, and drugs.

In November, members of the primary organization held a Week of Savings and Thrift. Big interest caused by the exhibition “The Second Life of Unnecessary Things”. Unnecessary boxes, bottles, discs, and scraps received a second life during thrift week. The students, together with their teachers, made interesting and useful objects from them: flowers, vases, animal figurines, souvenirs. High school students prepared multimedia presentations on energy and resource conservation issues. Colorful reminders and leaflets on saving water, light, and heat are distributed during the week.

Members of "Belaya Rus" have special respect for veterans of the Great Patriotic War. On the eve of Victory Day, with the direct participation of teachers and members of “Belaya Rus”, meetings with veterans of the Great Patriotic War, “Memory Watch”, “A Veteran Lives Nearby”, “Kindness” campaigns are held. Today I want to talk a little about the international literary competition “Golden Pen of Rus'”.

And this is perhaps the main and practically the only limitation of the competition, the only standard: your work submitted to the competition must be in Russian.

I ask experienced and eminent poets and writers, those who know first-hand about the Golden Pen of Rus' award, not to peek. Beginners have their own secrets :)

Why do you want to write about this?

Not without pride, I would like to remind you that in 2015, to my great joy and even greater surprise, I became the Golden Laureate of the Golden Pen of Rus'.

That is why I want to tell you... About the following.

I started writing not so long ago. I haven't been interested in this since childhood.

Because when I met in my ordinary life with other people, they told me:

- Hello! How are you?

And I answered them, for example:

- All OK! Deleting rows from tables with recursive keys is a bit of a concern.

And I heard in response:

- Understand! What about the cascade delete option?

There you go! The conversation started!

Now, when at the same meeting (often with the same people) I suddenly begin to talk about how I am no longer worried about the deletion of lines, but rather I am interested in issues of versification and fairy tale formation...

A day or two later (No, of course! Sometimes it happens that they confess right away!) I suddenly receive an email, or a message from a social network... Or, in the old fashioned way, a text message.

You guessed it, of course?!

There's my old one or new friend shares his successes in the literary field...

So here it is. That's all I mean. When I found out that I was nominated, I didn't feel anything.

Simply because I didn’t believe it.

And until the day of the award ceremony, I didn’t really tell anyone about it. I thought it was probably a mistake. I just told my husband. I don't think he believed it either.

By the way, the award ceremony is long. There are many nominations. And the children's nomination is at the end. Therefore, our suspicions only grew stronger by the second half of the ceremony.

Well, and then - happy ending! I was announced, awarded, congratulated and... We still had to believe, be surprised and rejoice.

So this is what I want to say to everyone...

This might not have happened if I had not sent it to the competition small selection of their works.

I have been attending Latin classes for a long time. Dancing, that is.

So, it’s been noticed. Until they announce to the students (with us everything is as usual) “Let’s show this dance at the concert...”, the result is the same.

And as soon as everyone hears something like that, a fabulous transformation happens. Everyone got together, put on their best manners, forgot about the borscht for tomorrow, and forgot about the holes in the knees of the new “overall.” All here. In dance. For the competition, after all :)

For me, winning the Golden Feather became the border between two different states.

The day before attending the ceremony, I personally knew (or rather, knew) only one person closely associated with the literary environment.

I knew this man for one simple reason. Once upon a time at one extreme mass event Having learned about the literary status of this lady, I simply could not help but approach.

I had never met a single writer or a single poet until that day.

I mean those people who are engaged in this business seriously, selflessly and consider it their BUSINESS.

Now... I know a lot of people like that. And they are amazing. Despite how different they all are. And all this, of course, is amazing to me.

Now... (just imagine!!!) the girls and I read books in the evenings by authors who “are among my friends.” 🙂 And this is just pure miracles for us!

New friends mean a sea of new information.

And one more thing - if suddenly it’s not you who win. Do not be upset under any circumstances! And move on towards your personal perfection. To be honest, this is not the first competition where I have submitted my work.
