How to draw a mug of tea. How to draw a mug

To learn how to draw various objects, animals, you first need to try to draw simple objects, such as a mug, a glass or a glass. The drawing of an ordinary tea cup will become good educational material to study symmetry and perspective, creating volume in a two-dimensional image. A mug or cup looks very simple just in the picture; in fact, when drawing these objects you need to follow the rules of symmetry, proportions, and perspective. You need to be able to use shadows to make a two-dimensional image of a mug three-dimensional. So be sure to try drawing a cup with a simple pencil. This will be a good lesson for acquiring initial skills in drawing objects using the pencil technique. To make it easier for you to draw a mug, we will perform the drawing in stages. Let's try it step by step draw a cup and learn to draw simple-looking mugs and glasses.

1. Initial marking of the cup design

Draw vertical and horizontal lines intersecting each other. Make a rectangular preliminary marking of the neck at the top of the mug. The neck of the cup will be the most important part of the design, so pay more attention to this element. Draw the bottom of the mug.

If you draw a glass or glass, you also need to do the first step in exactly the same way. Only a glass can have a much longer stem, and, of course, other differences.

2. Preliminary outlines of the mug

Connect the neck of the cup to the bottom with lines that taper slightly downward. Perhaps your mug has a different shape, draw it differently. This lesson only tells you how to draw step by step and where you can make a mistake. It is precisely at this step that you need to make sure that both sides of the mug are symmetrical. Even in my drawing you can see that the left side is slightly narrower than the right. Mark the places where the handle will be.

3. Preliminary handle contours

Using the previous contours, draw the approximate outline of the handle of the cup. To prevent the handle from turning out crooked and uneven in thickness, do not be lazy to make preliminary markings.

4. Clarify the general outline of the mug

Now let’s clarify a little the neck and the basic shape of the mug along with the handle. The walls of the cup have a certain thickness and therefore you need to draw an additional outline inside the neck of the mug. Having discovered a discrepancy in the symmetry of the sides, you can correct it, for example, in the same way as I did. Complete the entire drawing of the cup handle.

5. Cup drawing, finishing touches

Remove any extra contour lines and double-check that you have drawn everything correctly before moving on to toning the mug with a simple pencil.

6. Using shadows we will make the cup voluminous

Always, before applying shadows with a simple pencil on an object in a drawing, imagine from which side the light will fall. In places further away from the light source, the shadows will be “thicker” and vice versa. Pay attention to the neck of the mug. Inner part I did not shade the neck of the mug, shade it yourself if you consider it necessary. Well, after the drawing of the cup is completely completed, be sure to try drawing a saucer, teapot and other cutlery next to it.

All students take the lesson “How to draw a vase” with a pencil art school. A vase, mug or glass is a classic educational material for studying perspective, symmetry and techniques for creating volume in objects.

In this lesson we will try to draw a rose step by step. If you can already draw a beautiful glass or mug, then it’s quite possible to take on a more difficult task.

A chamomile, like a cup drawing, is not as easy to draw as it might seem. If you need to draw this flower beautifully, then try to do it in stages.

Castle drawing is good lesson for learning to draw buildings and houses. Using an ordinary pencil, you will gradually learn to draw the proportions of a building, create a perspective for the landscape surrounding the castle, and learn to add volume to the walls and towers of the castle using shadows and lines.

A house is an architectural structure, so when drawing it step by step, you first need to build a drawing of the house, and only then start adding details to the picture of the house. When making a drawing of a building, you cannot do without a ruler, and of course a pencil. The house should look symmetrical, so you need to accurately mark the dimensions of height and width using a ruler.

Nowadays, graffiti is very popular among young people, but not everyone can draw graffiti beautifully and stylishly. Let's try to learn how to draw graffiti on paper with a pencil, then color the resulting inscription with paints or colored felt-tip pens.

We all know what a cup or mug is. It's hard to imagine life modern man without these kitchen utensils, would you agree? Have you ever tried to draw a cup on a piece of paper yourself? After all, it would seem that it could be simpler - drawing its contours and giving them the appropriate shape is quite easy. And this is actually exactly the case! Don't believe me? Then see for yourself.

The next lesson can be classified as easy. Even a child can make such a drawing. Naturally, it is better for young children to draw a cup together with their parents. Moreover, it is very interesting.

So, let's take a closer look at how to draw a cup step by step. The main thing here is to carefully study the images below and follow the recommendations.

You will need:
- Paper. It is best if it is a special medium-grain one: it is much more pleasant for novice artists to draw on such a canvas rather than on an ordinary sheet of paper.

— Sharp pencils. There should be several of them with varying degrees of hardness - each is necessary to perform certain tasks. This will allow you to achieve the most realistic image possible.

— An eraser to erase unnecessary elements while drawing.
Shading stick. IN in this case you can use a special tool or take plain paper and shape it into a cone shape. With its help, you can easily erase the shading and make it a monotonous color.

And, of course, don’t forget about good mood and have a little patience.

We draw in several stages

Household things are the easiest to draw. You can look at the cup, carefully study each of its details separately, it is always at hand. Here you don’t need to start drawing from the head - straight from life. Agree, it’s much more pleasant, and most importantly, easier. If you do not have the opportunity to look at what you are drawing, you should turn to a search engine for help and find suitable photographs. Be sure to do this before drawing the cup with a pencil step by step, otherwise you simply will not catch the essence of the image.

For creating simple drawings use a contour. You just need to repeat what our lesson clearly shows and an excellent result is guaranteed. But if you want to get something more, then try to imagine your drawing in the form of simple geometric bodies. For example, sketch with rectangles, circles, or triangles rather than regular outlines. It's quite exciting! After some time and a small amount of training in performing this technique, you will see that drawing this way is easy. Very soon you will feel like a real artist!

Note: when sketching, use strokes that are as thin as possible. Remember, the thicker they are, the more difficult it will be for you to erase them in the future. And the quality of the drawing will suffer significantly.

The first step, or rather the zero step, is to create special markings on a piece of paper. This will allow you to determine the future location of the drawing. If your image takes up only half of the sheet, then on the second part you can draw something else. Below is a photo with an example of such markings.

Well, have you already prepared everything you need, be patient and in a great mood? Then let's begin.

Stage 1
First of all, draw an oval and draw along its center vertical line.

Stage 2
Then, in the middle of the large oval, create a similar oval, only smaller, that will separate the outer surface of the cup from the inner.

Stage 3
Now carefully draw the shape of the cup itself. As mentioned earlier, the design and shape of the cup can be anything. Draw the way you like best. Or follow the example we have provided for you below.

Stage 4
Carefully trace all the contours with a pencil and do not forget to erase everything at the end auxiliary lines. Work carefully so as not to remove the necessary elements of the picture.

Stage 5
OK it's all over Now! Your beautiful drawing ready. As you can see, everything is very simple. A little diligence and you will draw a wide variety of cups.

Stage 6
All that remains is to color the drawing. Show your imagination, use, for example, several shades or decorate your cup with unusual patterns. All in your hands! You can also create an original background for the picture, place it in beautiful frame and hang it on the wall. And then surprise your guests with your interesting creation.

Now you know how to quickly and easily draw a cup! It's really very simple. The main thing is desire, and a little creativity.

Be sure to try to draw a cup with your child - it will not only be very interesting, but also educational.

Instructions

The sheet can be laid either horizontally or vertically. The height and width of the cup, as a rule, are not very different from each other. Therefore, it will look good in any position of the sheet. Just try to keep it in the middle.

Put cup at some distance from yourself. It is better if it is slightly below your eye level. Whether or not to drapery depends entirely on your desire. Approximately determine the ratio of height and widest part, as well as wide and narrow parts. Carefully examine the bending line of the side surface. Circle lateral lines in the air and remember the movement.

Draw a vertical line down the center of the sheet. The main part of the cup is symmetrical about the vertical axis, and this must be taken into account. Set aside on the axial segment, equal to height. Mark its beginning and end with dots.

Draw 2 horizontal lines through the marked points. Set aside pieces equal to the largest and smallest widths of the cup. The widest place in a simple-shaped cup is the top, the narrowest is the bottom. The midpoints of both segments must be at the intersection of the axial and horizontal lines.

Through endpoints Draw ovals for each horizontal segment. The most wide part one and the other oval falls on center line. The line of the upper oval is the same thickness everywhere. At the bottom, circle brighter the part that is closest to the bottom edge of the sheet. The second half of the bottom will not be visible.

Connect the points with which you marked the width of the upper and lower parts in pairs with a line repeating the line of the side surface of the cup. If you don't remember exactly how it goes, draw it in the air again and repeat the movement on paper.

Trace a pen in the air. Please note that it must be two parallel curved lines. Repeat the movement on the paper in the same direction in which you drew it in the air. Draw the outer line of the handle first, and then the inner one.

Give the cup shape. First apply an even, light coat of paint to the outer surface of the cup. Paint the top oval with an even layer of the same paint, but in a cooler shade. For example, paint the outer part with white paint with the addition of yellow or pink, and for the inner part add blue or greenish white paint. Apply a thicker layer to the outer part. Imagine that a triangle with jagged edges is depicted on the surface of the cup, and apply a second layer to the part of the surface that will be outside this triangle. Darken the bottom corners with another layer.

Hello comrades!

We have already touched on the topic of “dishes”. They made cups, bowls and even jugs. If you work with paper, then our service includes “dishes” coloring pages. You can decorate it with patterns, you can practice finishing drawing the halves symmetrical objects or practice cutting. If the utensil has a handle, then you will have to remember to cut holes in the paper. In general, the topic is rich. And we will also cover various aspects of it. But today we’ll talk not about the outside of the dishes, but about the inside.

Yes, we actually need dishes not (only) for beauty. They store food in it and drink tea from cups, for example. So, if you give the task of cutting out a mug, then often, or rather even often, children, having cut out the handle and the hole in it, then mindlessly cut along the edge of the cup closest to us, cutting off the oval that we depict - what? - internal part.

To give students the opportunity to understand the meaning and purpose of the image of this ellipse, we will give the task to draw tea in a cup. This is where it turns out that children 5-8 years old have no idea how to depict this.

Therefore, we strongly urge: when going through this topic, show everything with a living example. Posters and drawings on the board are good, but independent observations, although they will not lead to quick understanding, will create a precedent.

So let's look at the topic « How to draw a cup of tea ».

Look at these photos. Strong tea is poured into a cup and mug. Please note: the liquid does not reach the very edges. In life, we also don’t pour it to the brim, otherwise all the tea will spill.

From the side, the projection of a mug or cup is presented on a plane as one geometric figure, when viewed from above, they both represent a circle. At three quarters we will see part of the outer side of the mug and partially inner surface. The most important thing: the horizontal section of the mug and cup from our angle appears as an oval, within which we see the edge of the poured liquid as a segment of an arc PARALLEL to the “upper” arc - the edge of the cup. This is what you should pay attention to. This even arc is the stumbling block. It would seem that nothing is easier, but the guys often just look and don’t see what it all looks like. Within the oval edges, the arc of the edge of the tea is visible! The colored liquid is at the lower limit of this arc and fills this limit WITHOUT GAPS, and DOES NOT GO TO THE TOP. A heavy liquid, being in a vessel, tends immediately

  1. take the shape of a vessel
  2. distribute smoothly and evenly.

Let's look at the boundary of the liquid in a conical cup. The closer to the bottom, the smaller (level 1), the higher, the larger the ellipse (2).

In an opaque cup, this ellipse is only partially visible; the invisible part must be mentally completed so as not to miss:

The level of the liquid and the angle at which we look at the cup may be different, but this does not affect the basic rule: the liquid is at the bottom, the arcuate line of the liquid level is PARALLEL to the edge of the vessel.

As for the transparent cup, the rule remains the same. But with a nuance: in a transparent vessel we see ALL THE LIQUID, AND THE ENTIRE LIQUID LEVEL. Accordingly, we also see that edge of the liquid that is spatially closer to us: but we see it through the glass wall of the vessel!

In our auxiliary diagrams, we simplified the task a little by taking it for granted that the walls of the vessel are absolutely transparent and their thickness tends to zero. In reality, of course, everything is more complicated, and on occasion we will try to show how to draw a transparent cup of tea from life. For today we will limit ourselves to this image, we hope that everything will work out correctly for you and, in any case, will give the children a reason to think about it.

Marina Novikova told you how to draw a cup of tea correctly.

This lesson fell into the category of easy ones, which means that in theory it can be repeated by Small child. Naturally, parents can help young children draw a cup. And if you consider yourself a more advanced artist, then I can recommend the “” lesson - it will require more perseverance from you, although it will be no less interesting.

What you will need

In order to draw a cup we may need:

  • Paper. It is better to take medium-grain special paper: beginning artists will find it much more pleasant to draw on this kind of paper.
  • Sharpened pencils. I advise you to take several degrees of hardness, each should be used for different purposes.
  • Eraser.
  • Stick for rubbing hatching. You can use plain paper rolled into a cone. It will be easy for her to rub the shading, turning it into a monotonous color.
  • A little patience.
  • Good mood.

Step by step lesson

Ordinary household things are the easiest to draw, because you can always look at a cup, it’s always at hand, and you can examine every detail. You have to draw not from your head, but from nature, and this is much more pleasant and easier. If you do not have the opportunity to look at what you are drawing, it is better to turn to a search engine and look at the photos before taking the lesson.

By the way, in addition to this lesson, I advise you to pay attention to the lesson “”. It will help improve your skill or just give you a little fun.

Simple drawings are created using contours. It will be enough for you to repeat what, and only what is shown in the lesson, to get an acceptable result, but if you want to achieve something more, then try to present that. What do you draw in the form of simple geometric bodies? Try making a sketch not with outlines, but with rectangles, triangles and circles. After some time, with constant use of this technology, you will see that drawing becomes easier.

Tip: create a sketch with as thin strokes as possible. The thicker the sketch strokes are, the more difficult it will be to erase them later.

The first step, or rather the zero step, is always to mark a sheet of paper. This will let you know where exactly the drawing will be located. If you place the drawing on half of the sheet, you can use the other half for another drawing. Here is an example of marking a sheet in the center:

Let's start by drawing an oval in the center of which we will draw a vertical line.

In the center of the large oval, draw a similar oval, but smaller in size, which will unscrew the inner surface of the cup from the outer one.

Now it's time to draw the cup handicap itself. As you already understand the shape and design of the cup, you can draw the one you like best, or draw it as you see in our example.

For the last step, all you need to do is draw with a pen and then erase all the auxiliary lines that were useful to us during the drawing process.

Wonderful drawing! You see, drawing a cup turned out to be very easy, see you later.

Let's color our cup.

I sincerely hope you enjoyed the tutorial on how to draw a cup. If you put in the effort, I believe you will achieve everything you set your mind to. Now you can pay attention to the lesson “” - it is just as interesting and exciting. Share the lesson on in social networks and show your results to your friends.
