Famous radio host and rock critic from Canada in an interview with KazanFirst

Evgeny Bychkov

Farid Karimov - Kazan

Radio host and rock critic Evgeny Bychkov has been known and loved by several generations of Russian-speaking music lovers. His fascinating and “positively charged” radio programs dedicated to the classics of rock and roll and blues are always popular among listeners all over the world, including those who, due to their age, golden era rock of the 60-70s of the XX century.

Bychkov “fell ill” with rock and roll back in the 70s, like most people of his generation, after hearing Beatles records. Since then, music has remained the main passion and meaning of his life. In the 90s, he hosted many programs on the independent Kazakh radio station “Radio Max” that introduced listeners to good music. They still remember how professionally and interestingly they were made and cite them as an example for novice presenters.

Since 1997, Evgeny Bychkov and his family have lived in Canada, where he still does what he loves: he teaches piano at the Mississauga School Of Music and hosts a talk show on the Russian radio station Toronto RadioPlus and prepares three (!) weekly programs for the Kazakh radio station “ Tengri FM": "Beatles Foreva!", "Blues on Fridays" and "Two Lives Later". Fortunately, thanks to the Internet, anyone can now listen to them.

I won’t describe the merits of his programs. In the end, it’s better to hear once... But, if you really love high-quality foreign music, then Bychkov’s programs are exactly what you need.

I think that Russian rock, especially in the 80s and the first half of the 90s, had a huge influence on our culture. He meant as much to us as he did foreign rock for English youth in the 50s and 60s. As for transmissions, in this moment I don’t see the point in this, since I don’t want to make a “secondary product”. There is already quite a lot about Russian rock interesting books, television and radio programs, etc., I’m unlikely to be able to add anything fundamentally new to this.

By the way, at one time, thanks to friendship with music critic Artemy Troitsky and director Rashid Nugmanov (he directed cult movie“Igla” with Viktor Tsoi – KazanFirst), I was able to meet and communicate with almost all the titans of Russian rock: Viktor Tsoi, Alexander Bashlachev, Konstantin Kinchev, Boris Grebenshchikov, Andrei Makarevich, Vyacheslav Butusov, Yuri Shevchuk, Alexei Romanov, Mike Naumenko. In general, I consider Troitsky to be my main teacher both in life and in my profession. We have known each other since the late 70s. Artemy is an incredibly talented, bright and active person. God bless him.

All our rockers were then at the peak of their creative form and, most importantly, had not yet had time to “bronze”, which made communication with them especially interesting and memorable. Except that Andrei Makarevich stood out from the general background with his closedness and demonstrative distancing from his interlocutor. I deeply regret that I was never able to have a heart-to-heart talk with him... But I became quite close friends with Borey Grebenshchikov, whom to this day I consider one of the most talented poets and musicians of my generation. I recently listened to it new album“Salt”, and was simply shocked by the power and depth of this record. I completely agree with Troitsky, who wrote that this best job BG for the last 40 years.

I remember, of course, my communication with Vitya Tsoi during his filming in the film “The Needle.” In those days, he and Rashid Nugmanov regularly came to visit me in Almaty, and we watched Sergio Leone’s westerns together (I already had a video player at home then). His sudden, absurd death remains an extremely painful topic for me. How much more could he have done if not for this stupid trip. It's hard to even talk about it.

He did not foresee his death. On the contrary, he was full of all kinds of plans and ideas. He rejoiced in life and his success. She and Rashid were already thinking hard about their next joint film. Simply knowing in advance what happened, it is now easy to speculate and invent something that did not happen. Here is a different case with Alexander Bashlachev. He had indeed been deeply depressed in recent years and suffered from creative crisis(as we know, I haven’t written a single song in the last 1.5 years). And it’s still impossible to realize how bad it was for him if, in the prime of his life, he decided to do this desperate step(Alexander Bashlachev jumped out of the window of an 8-story building at the age of 28 – KazanFirst). SashBash was exaggeratedly an absolute genius, a man out of this world. I remember how amazed I was when I saw him after his performance in Alma-Ata. All his fingers were bloody, he played with such mad dedication. Later I found out that he gave the same effort at almost every concert. I'm happy I got to interact with this a unique person. It's a shame that he passed away so early.

-I remember the 70s with pleasure. Of course, things happened, but as far as music is concerned, we were really lucky. It’s unlikely that today’s youth can imagine what a thrill we felt when we heard the new Beatles records for the first time, Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin...

A friend of mine once wittily remarked: “we were in time for the rock feast,” and this was indeed true. Of course, records in those years were not so easy to get, and they were not cheap, but the joy of listening to them could not be compared with the efforts and finances we spent. For us, music was not just a hobby, we actually lived it. And some, like me, for example, remained avid music lovers and “sixties” in spirit.

Very complex issue- why today rock and roll has almost completely lost its importance, which it had in the 60s and 70s. I think that, firstly, in the West they have gradually smoothed out social contradictions who served nutrient medium for rock and roll. Secondly, with the growth of popularity, the commercialization of rock music inevitably occurred, which ultimately led to a significant decrease in its creative potential, thirdly, with the advent of computers and all kinds of gadgets, people have more ways for self-realization and alternative self-expression. In fact, today the Internet plays the same role as rock and roll used to. Although, alas, it does not carry any creative charge.

However, I am much more interested in the question of what influenced such an unprecedented, I would say revolutionary, rise of rock music in the 60s, when hundreds of groups and artists appeared simultaneously, whose albums are still selling in huge numbers? Neither before nor since has music ever had such meaning or had such an impact on people. Maybe it’s the unique shift of “black” and “white” styles, maybe it’s the special atmosphere of that time. Don't know. But there is no doubt that the cultural revolution in the West in the second half of the twentieth century was based on rock and roll. It’s just a pity that now the situation has changed, and now it’s mostly not young people who go to rock concerts. How can one not recall John Lennon’s phrase: “I dream of living to see the time when every pensioner will play the guitar.” That's basically what happened. Unfortunately.

Why did I move to Canada? There is a whole complex of reasons, and all of them, one way or another, influenced my decision to stay with my family in Canada. One of the main reasons is the desire to provide my children with a stable and safe life, which I simply could not guarantee in the 90s in Kazakhstan. Secondly, in those years, I admit honestly, I was very tired of the lies and hypocrisy surrounding me, and finally wanted to live differently, in full height. However, I wouldn’t like to touch on politics...

I don't dig that deep in my broadcasts. In the multi-part series “The Ninth Archipelago,” if you listened to it, I really tried to “embrace the immensity” and talk about the heroes of the cycle in as much detail and originality as possible, unearthing truly rare and exclusive materials. The format of “Beatles Foreva!”, “Blues on Fridays” and “Two Lives Later”, alas, does not allow this (I don’t want to “load” the listener too much). However, I am happy with what I have. And I don’t feel any fatigue from my programs. In addition, I have been involved in radio journalism for a long time, since the 80s, and I feel quite comfortable in this profession.

By the way, some of my programs, for example, “Blues on Fridays,” were created back in the 90s and were successful in Almaty. A few years after I finally moved to Canada, representatives of the Kazakh radio station Tengri FM invited me to get back into the “familiar groove”, and I, of course, agreed. It’s great that now, thanks to the Internet, these programs can potentially be heard by everyone.

Of course, it's great to listen to vinyl records. IN this issue I'm not a perfectionist. But to make them sound “real,” you need expensive and high-quality equipment, as well as a sufficient amount of free time. Unfortunately, I have neither one nor the other. In addition, if the music is really good, then it will produce the desired effect regardless of the equipment and audio format. In our youth, we listened to our favorite albums in terrible quality, records and cassettes re-recorded dozens of times, but we didn’t even notice this. Music was taken by music, and not by anything else. If the song is right, it will sound great on an old cassette recorder. Although, as for records, I always really liked their design, which sometimes even exceeded its value and artistic merit the album itself. So I understand vinyl collectors to some extent.

This year they will begin to fight siltation of the reservoir, bottom sediments will be removed, so the authorities are asking local residents tolerate the unpleasant smell of hydrogen sulfide. After Fresh air will return, they promise

Ilnur Yarkhamov - Kazan

404 million rubles within three years will be allocated for the restoration or, in other words, for the eco-rehabilitation of the Admiralty Pond (this is the old bed of the Kazanka River). The main work will take place in next year, at the same time the lion's share of funding is expected to arrive - 360 million from the federal and regional budgets. The 1st Deputy Minister of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan announced this yesterday Rustem Kamalov on round table in the Public Chamber of the Republic of Tatarstan.

In 2016 Main Investment and Construction Department of the Republic of Tatarstan(GISU) will begin to “partially remove” the bottom sediments of the pond and clear the coastal area. The authorities hope to eventually turn this place into a tourist center.

Despite this, industrial enterprises continue to have a detrimental effect on the pond.

GISU in the summer of 2015posted a tender worth 17 million rubles on the government procurement portal for the development of a corresponding conceptcleaning up the Admiralteysky Pondand assessment of his condition. The documents note that the water is hereheavily polluted , the condition of the pond threatens living organisms and human health.

“The waters of the Admiralteysky pond are classified as water quality class 5 - extremely dirty. Excesses of the maximum permissible concentration are regularly observed. Bottom sediments formed in previous years, when untreated industrial, domestic, and wastewater were discharged into the pond, deposited [accumulated and stored] a wide group of heavy metals and petroleum products in quantities many times higher than the background content, and exhibit acute and chronic toxicity,” notes in the document

“Out of 16 enterprises, including industrial ones, we have only two registered enterprises that report. These are Vodokanal and Kazan Helicopter Plant,” she complainedIrina Mustakimova, and about. Head of the Water Resources Department of the Republic of Tatarstan, Lower Volga Basin Water Administration. However, a “slight decrease” in wastewater discharges is noted on the lake.

As KazanFirst learned ( full list polluting enterprises are at the disposal of the editorial office), over two years, by June 21, 41 protocols on administrative offenses on the Admiralty Reservoir were drawn up. For example, on February 29, 2014, the city Vodokanal discharged “domestic fecal wastewater” into a pond. Also, the municipal unitary enterprise “City Improvement” discharged storm water from the city sewerage into the pond.

Kamalov told KazanFirst that a black list of pond polluters will be prepared in the near future. It will be given wide publicity to cause public censure.

“The eco-rehabilitation project does not take into account the problems associated with the flow of groundwater from the sludge dumps of the Powder Plant (product waste that makes up dust and fine parts during ore washing -KazanFirst)," stated Irek Zigantdinov, representative of the freelance assistant to the President of the Republic of TatarstanNatalia Fishman. According to him, because of this, the water in the pond is now highly oxidized.

The problem of sludge groundwater at the Powder Plant has been going on for a long time, says corresponding member of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tajikistan and expert of the Public ChamberVenera Latypova. According to her, experts have still not been able to find official confirmation that the dumps belong to the plant. “[Representatives of the plant] tell us that they don’t have any sludge, but we see strong oxidation in the water,” the scientist complains. She notes that experts are not allowed access to the areas where the sludge is supposedly stored: “no one is allowed there.”

Since the project is mainly financed by Federal agency water resources of the Russian Federation, then to implement eco-rehabilitation everything must be officially and strictly confirmed, says Latypova. Therefore, the problem of “unofficial” sludge pollution by the Powder Plant is excluded from the project.

“The gunpowder factory has existed for several centuries; it began under the tsars. They make excuses that before, under the empire, under the USSR, things were different entity, but now it’s different, so there are no documents and no one is to blame,” explains the performer of engineering surveys on the reservoirOleg Nikitin.

Eco-rehabilitation project and the function of a pond for the city

According to Latypova, the Admiralty Pond performs a very important hydrodynamic function for the city. About 24% of the accumulated water is groundwater. Without a pond, these waters rushed into the streets Kirovsky district, there would be a flood. She notes that 3 years ago it was calculated that the environmental damage to the pond amounted to 1.4 billion rubles. But if the pond can no longer absorb groundwater, the damage to the city will amount to 80 billion rubles.

According to Kamalov, now it is necessary to remove bottom sediments from the pond. The rate of siltation of the reservoir is one of the highest in Tatarstan - 20 cm per year. The average depth of the pond is 0.5 m. Therefore, approximately 150,000 tons of sludge will need to be removed.

Latypova reported the results of bottom research. It turns out that a significant portion of the contamination was caused in the early years of the pond's formation. And it was created in 1957, when the main mouth of the Kazanka River was blocked. At that time, enterprises discharged wastewater without any filtration. Rospotrebnadzor found that 40% of the sludge is dangerous and does not meet sanitary and hygienic requirements, the scientist says.

What should people do? Run away from the city while you're working? So it is impossible to live near a pond because of its smell. And here's another

The wife of life-sentenced Oleg Mikhailov became the mother of four children

In the colony for life prisoners "Vologda Pyatak" a wedding took place: the killer of the Orekhovo-Medvedkovsky group Oleg Mikhailov married former investigator Victoria, mother of four children. She told us why she decided on this marriage.

Oleg Mikhailov and Victoria

On Fire Island, where serial killers and maniacs are serving life sentences in the Vologda Pyatak, Oleg Mikhailov married a 43-year-old resident of Perm.

“MK” became the unwitting culprit of this, if I may say so, celebration. On March 12, 2018, Mikhailov’s repentant confession entitled, which Victoria read, was published on the pages of our newspaper. She was not afraid of the killer’s confessions and found a place in her heart not just for sympathy, but for love.

Let's say Mikhailov is sincere both in his repentance for what he did and in his feelings for Victoria. But so far no one has been released from the death row colony where he is sitting. But how can spouses who see each other only twice a year be happy (most often visits are not allowed by law)? And in general, what normal person wants to connect his life (even if only officially) with a hired killer?

We asked Victoria herself about all this.

HELP "MK": “Oleg Mikhailov in the 90s was a full-time killer of the Orekhovo-Medvedkov group. However, before the trial, no one knew his face, since the leadership of the organized crime group kept the mercenary apart so that he could kill his own people. There were rumors that it was he who came up with the cruel method of hiding bodies in barrels of concrete. At the trial of the leaders of the Orekhovo-Medvedkovskaya organized crime group, it turned out that he was actually the only one who came to the authorities himself to write a confession. Mikhailov was found guilty of 9 murders.”

"Thank you! Thanks to you, I found my love” - these are the lines of Mikhailov’s letter to the editor. But in front of me is that same love - a very pretty, sweet woman. Victoria has two higher education, one of which is legal. Woman for a long time was an investigator and interrogator, and then began to engage in business. Victoria is divorced, she now has four children, the adults live separately, the youngest are 3 and 4 years old.

You will also think: maybe no one needed her and that’s why she got in touch with the prisoner? - she asks. - Usually everyone believes that only unclaimed women do such things.

- No. But why, out of all the men, did you choose a convicted killer?

Believe me, I had someone to marry. Not long ago, an acquaintance proposed marriage to me. Another has been asking for marriage for several years now. But I'm not interested in them. I would die of boredom. And it doesn’t matter that there are four children. Before I met Oleg, I even had a thought: if you can’t fall in love with a Russian, you need to look for a foreigner.

- And then you came across a newspaper?

Yes! I usually don’t read about crime, but then something happened. I read it once, twice. Many things struck me, especially the fact that he was the only one from the gang to write a confession, but the court did not take this into account, that he was asking for forgiveness from Muscovites. I noticed that the head of the colony spoke well of him. I scoured the Internet for a long time looking for information about organized crime groups. I found almost nothing about him.

I don't justify him at all. But he was a killer in the bloody 90s. Back then, many good boys ended up in gangs; no one was safe. In addition, I know that many former bandits whose conscience is not fewer souls, then legalized, came to power or became businessmen. And there are no questions for them now.

In general, I began to notice that I was thinking about this person all the time. Decided to write. At first I stopped myself: he is in prison for such terrible things! And then she finally said to herself: “Write him a letter, since you’re hooked. Write in a friendly way.” On April 9, 2018, I sent an email (I found out where to address it using the Internet). I’ll say right away: I have never corresponded with men from prison.

Three days later I received a response. He warned me, wrote that I probably hadn’t read the article in MK carefully and that he was a bandit. Yes, here is this letter, look for yourself.

“Why do you need this, Vika?”

“Hello, Victoria-Vika! I can honestly say that I was very surprised by your letter. I didn’t expect any letters after the article in Moskovsky Komsomolets about me. I didn’t expect any reaction to it from anyone at all.

Oleg Mikhailov in the cell

I had never given an interview to journalists before; this was my first experience of communicating with the writing fraternity. And then the administration came to the cell and said that an MK correspondent wanted to talk, and I, I don’t know why, agreed. Somehow it happened on a whim. I just wanted to ask Muscovites for forgiveness through Eva Merkacheva, MK correspondent, for all the grief that I brought with my “activities.” What happened is what happened.

Vika, I don't think badly of you. I was not in the habit of judging anyone, and now that I myself have been convicted, even more so. But why do you need this, Vika? Maybe you read something wrong about me? I'm not just a bandit, I have blood on my hands. You will need to re-read the article in MK again.

- So he seemed to scold you for wanting to correspond with him?

Yes! I think, wow. I wrote to him again. And then we began to constantly exchange correspondence. And then he simply wrote: “You know, I notice that I’m looking out the window and waiting for the postman with your letters.”

“Of course, he has nothing else to do in prison.” Well, what about you?

I was interested in him from the first moment. We have complete coincidence in many ways: in habits, character, attitude to life. We even have the same blood type - fourth! I'm as passionate as he is. He recently listened to the radio while working " Captain's daughter" and was forced to pretend that something had fallen, while he wiped away his tears under the table.

- And you believe in all this?

There are facts. We just mystical coincidences. He divorced his first wife in the same year that I divorced my husband, and so on. Oleg, in his words, was “overwhelmed” last winter, he asked God for love. And just at that time I was making a “wish card”, and it showed a man and a wedding. In general, we both got what we wanted.

By the way, he feels me perfectly at such a huge distance: I was washing the dishes, took off the ring, and then he called: “Vikulya, I can’t feel the rings...” He and I have the same finger size. After the wedding I took him home wedding ring(not allowed in prison) and now I wear two at once.

During the interview, I photographed him from behind, so that his face was not visible. So you fell in love blindly? Didn't you care what he looked like?!

I read in your article that he has an athletic build. I also found an old photo from the courtroom where members of the organized crime group were tried. On May 25, we had our first date, and he was just worried that I wouldn’t like my appearance.

- How was the first date?

He wrote to me, telling me not to come in until I talked to the leadership of the colony. “Listen to them and then make a decision. There are people sitting here who get to know each other out of nothing to do or for the sake of sending packages.” I talked to one of the bosses. He said: “Vika, Oleg is very vulnerable, don’t break his heart.”

Did he say so? I don't really believe it, to be honest. The head of the colony told me that he spends hours dissuading potential brides who go to the local prisoners from all over Russia.

But here it turns out that the case is special. He also said that Oleg never wrote to dating services, that he does not correspond with any women. After the date, the boss called to him: “So what? Did you like him? What can I say?

I immediately felt that he was mine, completely mine. His voice made me tremble, and at first my legs shook when I picked up the phone and heard him on the other end of the line. By the way, we are entitled to four calls a month.

On May 9, Victory Day, Oleg proposed to me by phone. I didn’t even think about it. But I had to go to Moscow and take a copy of his divorce certificate so that I could submit an application to the registry office.

Oleg at the wedding ceremony

“I was in a white dress, I brought him a suit”

- How was the wedding?

The ceremony took place on September 20. I was traveling with curls, they flew away in the wind, I had to put my hair in a bun. But she was in a white dress. I brought him a suit. Everything happened very quickly, but solemnly, in the psychologist’s room. They signed, hugged once, and he was taken away.

- And you are satisfied that you and your husband will see each other only twice a year?

Many spouses see each other every day, and families are unhappy. They told me here: they say, Oleg “branded the woman” and deprived me of my future.

I am free and independent, I don’t depend on anyone. If I decide to get a divorce, no one will stop me from doing it. But I feel that I will be with him until the end. I love him so much, although by nature I am not an amorous person.

And I’ll get divorced in two cases: if I find out that there are still some things going on with someone (at least by correspondence), and if they offend me with words and actions. And so we want to have a child. We want to get married.

- About the wedding... After it, all the sins of the husband fall on the wife. And for your chosen one they are very difficult...

He prays every day for those killed. I think I prayed for it, since God sent me to him. And the people who judge me need to get on with their lives. Everyone goes their own way, and everyone is given what they deserve.

He provides for himself. Oleg works for clothing production late every day. Volunteers to go on shifts on weekends and holidays, if it's necessary. He buys everything he needs with his own money. So he doesn’t need me to sponsor him.

I always take care of the children because I work from home.

- By the way, do the children know that you got married?

Little ones don't. And the elders know, of course. My daughter was shocked, she even thought that I had joined some kind of sect. I decided for myself: I will raise my children, send them on their way to adulthood, and I will settle on an island or in the city of Belozersk near the colony. To be closer to him.

Oleg is a family man, not a lone wolf. I realized that he committed crimes mainly for the sake of his woman, her well-being. If not for this, he would not have gotten into the gang in the first place.

From left to right: Andrey Pylev (sent for life), Sergei Ananyevsky (killed), Grigory Gusyatinsky (killed), Sergei Butorin (sent for life) - leaders of the Orekhovskaya organized crime group

And so he took the criminal path to raise money for his family. And then, when I realized that I was in trouble, it was already dangerous to leave the gang. Moreover, he was afraid not for himself, but for her.

There was Vladimir Gribkov, nicknamed Bulochnik, known for his cruelty. When he decided to leave, his wife was killed by the Pylevites, that is, their own people (the gang was led by the Pylev brothers - Auth.). After that, he turned the gang over. Here he has 12 episodes (this is more than Oleg), but he was given only 13 years, and he was already released on parole.

When Oleg was arrested, his wife left him. And I think that she was aware of how he made money for her.

Oleg Mikhailov

Victoria, last question. Are you ready to love until the end of your days a prisoner who will never leave the perimeter guarded by machine gunners and dogs?

Ready. But I hope that his life sentence will be commuted to some kind specific date. There are reasons for this. According to today's legislation, if there was a confession, then they should not give a life sentence. At the time Oleg was tried, this was not the case. But the law has retroactive effect if it mitigates the fate of the prisoner. In general, I am now collecting documents with faith in the future.

It is difficult to understand a woman who has linked her life with a suicide bomber. But she is not the first and far from the last. It has generally become a tradition for Russian women to marry prisoners who, with sweet speeches and promises, find their way to their hearts.

But love story Mikhailova, in my opinion, still stands apart. Initially, during my visit to the colony, the head of the institution only found out about him Nice words. And it was he who told the story, which was later included in.

“Once they took us to work in formation, under escort. But the weather was good. It was very quiet, light, and light snow was falling. And it was as if a ray of light fell from the sky on everyone. I had the feeling that the monks were going to obedience. A fleeting but very vivid feeling.”

We live in an era of sequels and prequels, and it's no surprise that we see an actor in the same role year after year - say, Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark in Marvel Comics films. But these are film series and film cycles. Does it happen that an actor repeatedly portrays the same person in unrelated films? For example, in different film adaptations of the same book? Yes, this happens! We looked back at ten actors and actresses who have played the same roles multiple times in unrelated films.

Attention - we indicate total films in which the actor played the same role, and we do not separate related and unrelated films. The only important thing for us is that among these paintings there are unrelated projects.

Peter O'Toole - Henry II (2 films)

Still from the film "Beckett"

It's hard to believe now, but in 1964 one of the main films of the year was the historical drama "Becket", which talked about the conflict in medieval England between King Henry II and the Archbishop of Canterbury named Thomas Becket. Peter O'Toole played in this film the monarch who first pushed Becket into his post, and then suffered grief with him. Four years later, in 1968, O'Toole again portrayed Henry II, but as an elderly monarch with adult sons in the drama The Lion in Winter. The actor was then one and a half times younger than his character. By the way, Richard the Lionheart, the eldest of the princes and the future famous king, was played by Anthony Hopkins in that film. Both films are now considered Western classics.

Andrey Tushev has been working at the Volgograd Youth Theater since 2010. During this time he proved himself to be versatile actor, a professional in his field. Deep penetration into created image, sincerity and accuracy in presenting the material made him a favorite of the audience and brought recognition from his fellow workers.

Andrei Tushev’s creative baggage includes a wide range of images created on the stage of the Youth Theater. Such as Gary in the play “Gagarin Way”, Warrior in the play “About the King of Earth and Heaven”, Coleman Connor in the play “The Dreary West”, Seva Polonsky in the play “My Wonder”, Nazarev in the play “Life in Questions and Exclamations” , Shustek in the play “Before the Rooster Crows”, roles in the productions of “Songs about the Main Thing”, “Notes of a Madman”, “Terrorism”, “Scream Behind the Scene”.

Andrei Tushev’s talent was especially evident in the productions of the Volgograd Youth Theater recent years. His Chekhov's heroes in the play “Life in Questions and Exclamations” (in this production the artist plays several roles at once) are touching, a little funny and so familiar to us with their human weaknesses. You sincerely sympathize with them, you empathize with the absurdities that they create for themselves. These are the same Chekhov's funny people", for the images of which we love the work of Anton Pavlovich so much.

Another role, veterinarian Shustek in the play “Before the Rooster Crows,” turned out to be significant for the actor. In the magnificent ensemble of eleven characters, Mr. Shustek Tushev did not get lost, but remained a rich brushstroke in a bright palette. The actor does not spare colors in the negative manifestations of his character. His Shustek is selfish, nervous, angry, hot-tempered, and often unfair. But at the same time he remains a living person with his aspirations, breakdowns and repentances.

Tushev shows his musicality and eccentric sides of his talent in the fairy tale “Puss in Boots,” where he dances and sings beautifully in the images of Hans and Gustav, drawing funny characters that children like so much. Undoubted successes were the roles of the Middle One in Mrozhek’s absurdist play “On the High Seas” and the forwarder Ugarov in the play based on Vampilov’s comedy “Provincial Anecdotes.” The actor succeeded in portraying characters so different in both style and character with equal precision. The audience also remembered his Mikola from Shukshin’s “Freaks,” a rude, narrow-minded, but sincere and sincere guy. Particularly noteworthy is the role of Tomsky in The Queen of Spades. In a stylish, infernal performance staged by Adgur Kove, Tushev carefully leads the line of a rake, a bully and a playmaker. In the production of “Cabaret Illusion” Andrei showed remarkable vocal and plastic abilities.

Together with Volgogradsky youth theater and St. Petersburg director Evgeny Zimin Andrey Tushev opens the famous Shakespearean comedy “Twelfth Night”. There's no doubt that new role, Sir Andrew Aguechick, he will succeed brilliantly!

The concept of “alpha individuals” was introduced into use by ethologists - scientists who study the behavior of pack animals, for example, wolves. The creation of the term itself is attributed to zoologist David L. Mech, who argued that all males can be divided into so-called alpha, beta and gamma males in terms of their behavior and biological characteristics.

And in a pack of animals, and in primitive society The strongest, most agile and hardy male always became the leader, since he could get more food. Accordingly, he was granted various privileges, and the females clung to him, because they understood that such a partner would be able to take care of the survival of the offspring.

Modern alpha males are usually well-built and physically attractive. Most often, their social and financial status is above average: they own big business, occupy high public positions, have power. Alpha males tend to be popular with women, who are attracted to their masculine charm, strength, and self-confidence. According to scientists, the set of qualities of “alpha”, as well as “beta” or “gamma” is laid down from birth and depends on the hormonal sphere.

Meanwhile, observations have shown that sometimes in a dog or wolf pack it is not the male that dominates, but the female. However, she does not behave like an alpha male in everything. Thus, she does not have a “harem” of individuals of the opposite sex, and she is not inclined to engage in promiscuous sexual intercourse. She doesn't need it. The main signs of a leader are the possession of power and authority. If males are oriented by nature itself to produce as many offspring as possible and thus pass on their set of genes, then for females it is not quantity, but quality that is important. They try to choose a partner who has the optimal genotype to pass on to their offspring. Moreover, the alpha female is not necessarily the most beautiful or the most quarrelsome individual in the pack. Attractive appearance only indicates increased fertility, while nervousness or hysteria indicates lack of self-confidence. An alpha female doesn't need this. She doesn’t need to increase her status through her appearance or by attacking anyone - she already has it high. The first is more likely to be characteristic of beta individuals, and the second - of gammas. The alpha female usually appears calm and confident, even in less than ideal situations.
