Face

Foundations

I have a million foundations. I buy them, smear half a tube, and I either get tired of them or am haunted by the feeling “tonak has gotten worse/tonak is no longer the same.” I'm probably only loyal to Bobbi Brown Skin Foundation SPF 15, which Lena recommends, because she (!) uses it herself. By the way, even before watching her video, I adhered to the rule of buying foundations with a yellowish tint, and not with a pinkish one (they make me look like a suckling pig), and as it turned out, I was right. Bobby Brown really the best choice on every day. Doesn't clog pores, light, very liquid. Their most popular tone is 2.5 Warm Sand. The only negative is that it probably cannot be called super-stable. Plus 25-30 drips from the face, although the manufacturers claim that it is oil free. I love liquid foundations, I don’t like any creamy plasticine foundations, I don’t know how to apply them (I have MAC Studio Sculpt in a tube, and this is a hellish cream, it looks more like makeup, I don’t even know for what occasion to apply it, because even It's too thick for evening makeup). Now, as an alternative to Bobby Brown, I bought the newest Giorgio Armani Maestro with a pipette. So it’s even more liquid! Just right for the summer. But the camouflage is doubtful. All imperfections have to be masked with a stick.

Stick

Lena advised buying a stick and foundation from the same brand, but since Bobbi Brown is not sold in Vladivostok, I bought a Shiseido stick. My verdict is awesome!!! What my foundation doesn't cover up, the stick covers up perfectly. Pleasant, silky, light, but at the same time with a dense coating. May Recommend.

Proofreaders

I have Bobbi Brown Tinted Eye Brightener, it’s pinkish (Light Bisque color), but it brightens up perfectly the right places, disguises bruises and refreshes (sometimes if you need a denser coverage, I mix it with MAC Mineralize Concealer and the result is simply masterpiece). Another very good thing that tightly masks bright and ugly redness, dark circles, all sorts of hellish pimples and lasts well is Benefit Lemon Aid. This is such a yellow, highly pigmented thing that will be enough even for your grandchildren. I don’t understand the public hysteria about the sensational YSL Touche Eclat. Well, the proofreader is just a proofreader, nothing special. I personally much prefer the same one with a brush, but Clarins is half the price and the quality is better.

Basics, primers

I liked the pink Givenchy foundation that Krygina recommended (it also smells really good!). My face felt really fresh and the foundation applied very smoothly on top of it. Although this foundation did not suit my friend with perfect skin, as it made her pale skin look too cold and as a result, a difference in color with her neck became visible. At the same time, I note that this base is quite dense, and the feeling of “another layer of plaster” still arises. Therefore, for every day I recommend to everyone the makeup base I adore, Shiseido Maquillage Sherbet Base. Shiseido has something like a “second line” called Maquillage, but I think it’s only sold in Asia. In general, I recommend this to everyone who vacations in Thailand, Korea, Singapore and other well-known parts of Southeast Asia - take more in reserve. There is 65 ml in a bottle, it lasts a long time, it costs about 40-50 dollars. I don’t know what it does, but it evens out unevenness, mattifies, cools, refreshes, does not clog pores and is completely imperceptible on the face! The foundation goes on great on her. In general, a super thing! I have a calm attitude towards silicone primers; as a rule, they are all the same, some expensive, some cheap. I have Smashbox, not bad, but not thrilled.

Siyatori Highlighters

I’ll say right away: none of the products that Krygina recommends worked for me (or my hands are out of my ass). The MAC Luster Drops highlighter seems to be good, but it is difficult to work with, since it dries instantly, you need to apply it very quickly “while the match is burning”, it lays down as if it were a separate layer from the foundation, which is unacceptable for my oily skin. And besides, it doesn’t brighten things up much. It illuminates - yes, but I would not call it a brightener as such. If you use MAC Vanilla or Naked pigment as a highlighter, then there is also a lot of fuss with them, you need to pour it somewhere in the right amount (otherwise you will get too much on the brush), then break up the lumps (it gets a little damp from humidity), then apply on the right protruding places and it shines too much for me. Isn't it too difficult? In general, my choice is white shadows Shu Uemura tone - P white 900. They shine and brighten, give such a non-vulgar glow and last for a million years, and in general are very multifunctional. If Shu Uemura is not in town, then you can safely replace them with white “pancake” shadows from Bourjois, they have a magnificent white color #90, it shines, but without vulgar sparkles. But this is solely my opinion. In any case, I prefer dry “shiyators”.

Face modeling

MAC Harmony blush is almost everywhere Sold Out. I thought only in Russia there was such a stir because of Lena Krygina, but no. There were none in Seoul and Singapore either. In the comments to the video, I saw that someone recommended the Baby don’t go tone as a replacement. I tried it and I liked it even more than Harmony. It's lighter in color and it's hard to overdo it, unlike Harmony. Having tried Harmony, I was convinced that even for my not very pale skin it was too dark; instead of a shadow, a dark stripe appeared on my cheekbone, although maybe I just applied it incorrectly. In general, I am completely satisfied with the tone of Baby don’t go, although I am not advocating to take it. It’s just that for those who really don’t want to stand in line for Harmony, Baby don’t go is quite suitable. By the way, here’s a lot about blush for modeling (in which the makeup artist agreed with my subjective opinion that Harmony gives a reddish look).

Blush

I have a million blushes, as well as foundations, only about 5 Chanels, Benefit in cardboard boxes (bought because of the boxes, like “they’re so cute”). I bought Bobbi Brown Pink Coral, which Lena recommended (as an alternative to Apricot). In the box they are absolutely eye-popping - bright pink and with sparkles, a la “How much is kvass?” They need to be applied oh-so-very carefully, with a large soft brush (a regular blush brush picks up too much of them), brush off the color first onto your hand, and only then apply it to your face. It seems to me that I will even pass them on to my granddaughters, because the consumption is minimal. In addition, I have long and dearly loved Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick Rose, they are refreshing, “highlighting” and generally irreplaceable. And as an option for every day, I recommend MAC Cubic - this is also a very popular tone among them, it is very gentle and it is difficult to overdo it, it looks like a slightly pinker Harmony, in general, that’s what you need. I also have Giorgio Armani gel blush in red, they really give that childish blush that looks like it came from the cold, they’re not bad, they’re quite easy to apply, the only thing is that I would advise everyone to buy a tone lighter than mine. Mine is a bit too cherry. Although Lena, in her video, when she talked about Benefit Benetint, which can also be used as a liquid blush, said that it is this dark red color that gives a natural “childish” blush, and all sorts of coral tones look more artificial. In general, the choice is yours, but it seems to me that Armani is still more convenient and pleasant than Benetint

I have tone number 2 (right)

Powders

It turns out that I have the white finely dispersed Make up Forever HD Powder, but I would never have thought that anyone would recommend it, I thought I was the only one so smart who tried it. I’ve been using it for a long time, it sets makeup perfectly, I can’t imagine how you can “overdo it,” which Lena so strongly warns against, because the powder is almost transparent and invisible. She just puts makeup on her face and that's it. Sometimes loose powder with tone and slight shine is not enough to still give the face some kind of completeness.
Consultants praise Chanel and Givenchy four-color (this one is especially convenient because you can seal certain sectors in summer and winter and thereby make the powder lighter or darker), I’ll probably buy it, tone 02 is the most popular and comfortable.

Givenchy Prisme Libre Loose Powder (tone 2), good powder, you should buy it (c)

Brows

I don’t like shadows for eyebrows, I prefer pencils, because with a pencil you can sort of draw out the hairs (especially if the pencil is not too soft), and the shadows just create a background and the eyebrows look like they’ve been smeared with a felt-tip pen. For blondes (not very light), I recommend MAC Dirty Blonde A11, it is a little grayish, like the natural pigment of “Slavic” hair, without the redness and yellowness that most pencils “for blondes” have.

Mascara

I’m still only dreaming about Trish McEvoy, because it’s difficult to buy, and I’m not flying to London anytime soon. However, for a long time I have been loyal to Giorgio Armani Eyes to kill. Her brush fits all the parameters that Lena talks about, it’s classic, elastic, only unlike the Clinique High Impact, it combs the eyelashes better. And makes them tougher. I’ll just note right away that Armani has several types of Eyes to kill. There is a classic one in such an iron heavy gray-green matte tube - that’s what you need, and there is Eyes to kill Excess, it is in a black glossy tube, it has a stupid brush, and I don’t like it.

Shadows

Well, of course, a queue has already formed at MAC Haux (as well as at Carbon and Typographic). I have a whole box of different shadows, and of course I thought that I had a whole bunch of “similar” ones. But nothing. Indeed, these Hawks somehow make the eyes more beautiful, wider, bigger and all that. And if with a Yves Rocher pencil, then it’s absolutely beautiful... But when they come to our distant city of Vladivostok, only God knows. As an inquisitive person, I was in line for Haux, but just for fun, I tried the Quarry tone, which is very similar to Haux, only a little more gray and matte (Haux is satin). The difference is almost imperceptible before the eyes. but still I’ll wait for the Hawks... by the way, without a primer for eyeshadow, matte eyeshadow is really very difficult to apply, and I always sinned on my Bobbi Brown (for a very long time and I love their super set Bobbi Brown Ultra Nude Eye Palette), it always seems to me that they don’t lay flat enough, and it turns out to be a matter of the eyeshadow primer... God, how much do we girls need, it’s just a nightmare. How to travel without overweight?!
This is Quarry

Pomade

I suffered with red lipstick. Firstly, I was surprised to discover that all the stores in Vladivostok suddenly completely abandoned Nouba cosmetics (seemingly due to a rise in prices for it). As a result, I managed to buy a red Milebacci #7 as a tester for 50 (!) rubles in a mossy store in a place that’s embarrassing to even say - the wholesale market on Derevenskaya. In general, wherever your feet will lead you in search of the perfect fucking red lips. I still have it in the old version, so elongated, but most likely even this tester will last me for a million years. Many people complain that it doesn’t wash well, but that’s not true. You can’t just get rid of it with a napkin - that’s a fact, but MAC makeup remover wipes or a cotton pad moistened with eye makeup remover perfectly removes this very Noob from the lips, you just need to not smear it beyond the lips, but as if across Wash towards the center of the lips. I didn’t like MAC Ruby Woo and Russian Red at all, because they are difficult to use and super dry, I feel uncomfortable with them. Nuba Milebacci is better, but I advise you to apply it not with their “standard” sponge, but with a regular lip brush.

In the next part, I promise to throw out on you all the storm of feelings that overwhelmed me in connection with the removal of the face modeling brush from Make up Forever from sale, the absence of Rive Gauche in Vladivostok, I will tell stories about Beauty Blenders and how to order tigers and sailors to our region. In general, chapter II promises to be about tools. Shine bright like e diamond!

Whether it’s funny or sad, you can be the judge, but according to average estimates, I spend about 8,000-10,000 UAH per year on decorative cosmetics. Moreover, over the course of a year, about 1/4 of the products spoil or 1/8 is not used, and another 1/8 passes into the possession of other interested persons. I cannot help but note that it is the contemplation of such a phenomenon as beauty blogging that stimulates the uncontrollable passion of owning a bottle of cosmetics. This consumerism must be defeated and directed in a safe direction. Unless you are a professional makeup artist or blogger, beauty shopping should be thoughtful and expedient. Well-known makeup artist and blogger Elena Krygina, has compiled a list of the most necessary purchases that help make girls more beautiful - get rid of shortcomings and emphasize their advantages. Google offers everyone to familiarize themselves with this list, and some savvy entrepreneurs are already making home delivery. I’m giving you a direct link to an informative video about must-haves that the entire beauty community has been buzzing about for a year now:

But what can I say, not all makeup artists and bloggers were enthusiastic about this list - and no wonder! - after all, most products cost two to three times more than usual decorative means, and Elena turned the purchases themselves into a kind of quest with a search for artifacts. Apparently this psychological deficit is the reason for the extraordinary popularity of this list.

Makeup artist Natalia Sulkowska offers an “anti” list of products that belong to a more affordable price category, they are easy to find in the mass market and, if you have certain skills, you can really achieve good results with them.

“Of course, I, like many beauty maniacs and fans of Elena Krygina, would like to confess my ardent love for many products offered in the not unknown must-haves list. But, unfortunately, a large number of these products are almost impossible to get in Ukraine, and the prices many people evoke in me a big green monster that strangles me with its toad paws;) It was in the attacks of these strangulations and tearful resentment for the mass market, undeservedly offended by many bloggers, that I more than once thought about the list of analogue products. And now it’s time to present for everyone to see. So, let's get acquainted!

Let's start with a very important and so often underrated product - foundation. My discovery of my favorite was the universally accessible bb-cream from Garnier for oily and combination skin [please do not confuse it with that first terrible bb-cream that first appeared on the shelves of our stores, the main asset of which was the effect of an oily pancake on the face].

This cream, light in consistency, a little runny, but perfectly evening out the tone, gets a solid A and perfectly replaces the foundation from Mac face and body. Of course, they won’t be able to hide a good pimple, but it hides small spots and minor irregularities no worse than its professional counterpart.

What should we do if there is a problem with our skin or we are planning a photo shoot and we need a thicker coverage? Maxfactor Lasting Performance comes to the rescue of me and many makeup artists. Layers well, hides everything you need to hide and makes your face perfect for a long time.

Loose powder - I have two options here. For lovers of everything natural and mineral, Mary Kay powder, and here you should not associate my opinion with network marketing, I personally order it through several intermediaries and write a non-disclosure agreement about my data to Mary Kay agents.

My second favorite loose powder is Maxfactor Translucent Proffessional Loose Powder. Perfectly mattifies and fixes makeup, is irreplaceable in work and there are no problems with choosing a tone. I’ll say a special word about the convenient packaging, which allows me to keep my suitcase clean and does not cause an explosion when opened.

With blush, everything is very difficult, here I couldn’t find a product that was as versatile as the famous Bobbi Braun blush, and so I went to Inglot. In their stunning range and color palette you can find a similar one.

Correctors: initially I will divide it into concealer under the eyes and corrector . According to many makeup artists and some bloggers, the caffeine roller from Garnier is recognized as the best mass-market concealer under the eyes, and I completely share this opinion!

This magical thing with one stroke can hide all traces of my early rises, constant lack of sleep and fatigue.

Next, switching to a whisper, I will tell you a global women's secret of how to hide from the eyes of all humanity that same unfortunate pimple that appeared there just on the day of a date with the most important man and in the most visible place. The corrector from Maxfactor pan stik true beige 12 will come to the rescue, I don’t know what magic ingredient or spell is in this corrector, but it even hides an atomic explosion on my face.

One of the most mysterious products on Krygina's list are Mac eyeshadows with a name that no one can pronounce (Haux), and so mysterious that even the consultants of the Kiev Mac store don't know if they actually exist, because they never exist! Having received a package with this coveted product, I was amazed - they are an analogue of Inglot eyeshadow in shade 344, which has become an indispensable assistant in my work for a long time.

They really brighten up any eye and are perfect for highlighting the crease! If you put these two products side by side, there will still be a slight difference, but for me it’s in favor of the Inglot shadows, they have one hundredth less pink pigment, which makes the look even fresher.

Personally, I am very careful with pink pigment, and even more careful with its tone, a little warmth in pink and you are guaranteed painful and tear-stained eyes! And it was this caution that made me replace the pink pencil from Yves Rocher with a beige pencil from Oriflame, because our skin is more likely to have a yellowish tint.

And even if your skin tone is closer to pink, then God forbid you apply pink pigments to your face, unless, of course, you decide to create the image of a flushed lady or you are not playing children's play pink pig.

Returning to the topic of shadows, I’m a big fan of Inglot [many have already guessed about my love for this brand], but I don’t chase everyone only after them. Pearlescent shadows from Artdeco boast excellent properties, stunning shades and wonderful pigmentation! And by applying them to a base of the same brand, you can forever forget about the shadows rolling up in the folds. Of course, I can sing odes to the Artdeco eyeshadow base for a long time and enthusiastically, but I must admit that it is quite difficult to work with, it is capricious and does not like to rush, and this is also the case when it is better to apply less and shade more.

I’m willing to bet with many that until recently there wasn’t even such a thing as a highlighter in your life. It was used only by professional makeup artists and was called "light corrector" or "light corrector with pearl." But now the most discussed topics among bloggers are highlighters and how to give a healthy glow to the face. And since these means have recently entered our lives and are still more of a pampering and luxury than a necessity, there are practically no accessible analogues. And if a highlighter with a dry texture can be replaced with shadows or pigments with golden shimmer, such as Boyrjois Paris 94 shadows.

That's the problem with creamy textures. It's really worth splurging on Mac or Benefit here.

But you can argue about mascara for a long time and there is no consensus about this most common women's product. Some people like thick and lush ones, some want eyelashes up to the eyebrows, and some want naturalness and only add a slight tint to their eyelashes. But these are not all the criteria for mascara, a lot depends on the situation, place and time: in evening makeup you want thick, lush and long eyelashes, but at 8 am at work, such eyelashes will look at least strange. So I decided to write about several products.

The mascara that is my favorite is Maxfactor MastarpieceMax.

When applied in one layer, it makes my lashes both thick and long, but they remain quite natural. And if you set a goal and apply more, then the eyelashes become doll-like and are quite suitable for evening makeup. There is, however, a drawback to this mascara; it needs to be applied quickly, and this does not allow me to use it in my work, because clients cannot always immediately decide which effect they like best, and during the time it takes to make a decision, it has time to dry, and subsequent application will give the same effect of spider legs.

Therefore, in my work I use Color me Couture collection Magic Noire, its elastic texture allows you to layer the required amount of mascara and create various effects.

And one more little advice: Don’t get carried away with tinting your lower lashes!

The topic of eyebrow pencil is always the most painful for me. I'm an eyebrow maniac! I may not apply eyelashes, foundation, or even pay attention to my lips for a second, but I will never go outside with unshaped eyebrows. I don't use pencils, but prefer eyebrow shadows [powders]. At correct selection brushes, your eyebrows look more ideal, natural, without pieces of pencil stuck in the hairs, which often looks very, to put it mildly, not very good. And often with the selection of shadows less problems. Unfortunately, it is not uncommon to find very nice and even beautiful girls who have shamelessly ruined their appearance red or black pencil.

A discovery for me was a product that seemed not intended for eyebrows - Maybelline color tattoo 24HR cream shadows in shade 40 permanent taupe. The perfect brown-grey shade, creamy texture that allows for perfect lines and excellent staying power make them a gold winner for best brow shaping product.

Another vital product is Lumene Eyebrow Shaping Wax Blueberry.

The gel will fix unruly hairs and naturally color all the gaps. So, even if your eyebrow care schizophrenia has not reached the maximum that befell me, I still advise you to purchase this product.

And now let's move on to the very topic that excites the minds of a million girls - red lipstick! At first, I admit, I wanted to throw out the white flag and surrender to Lena Krygina’s favorite, red Nouba lipstick. But this is not in my nature and I went to the stores in search of a matte super-resistant analogue. And since we’re on the subject of confessions, I personally don’t use red lipstick, so I don’t understand the full meaning of the word “super-resistant” in relation to it. First of all, I went to the gosh stand and this is no coincidence, because in my work I always use lipsticks of this brand, they moisturize lips, making even the most poorly groomed soft and perfect, and they also stay on the lips quite well. But the classic red turned out to be glossy, and although the swatch on my hand lasted until the evening, I couldn’t bring myself to write it down in analogues. There was no analogue in the mass market either, although both Loreal and Rimmel have decent options, but their durability is weaker than even that of Gosh, and I certainly won’t draw parallels with Nouba. And now, upset and ready to accept defeat, I go to buy a couple of new eyeshadows from Inglot. And although I never paid attention to the lipstick counter [all because Gosh lipsticks have long and irrevocably occupied my heart and lips], it was here that I found an analogue of Nouba, a super long-lasting classic red matte lipstick Inglot 409.

I won’t write about nude lipsticks for a long time, here my only advice is lipsticks from Gosh! And I can name the ideal nude shades 004 and 005 (depending on the shade of the natural pigmentation of your lips)

Concluding the topic, I would like to remember the black eyeliner. To draw the perfect arrow, you need a pencil that is hard enough, but not too hard, soft enough so that it does not spread, so that it does not imprint, that sometimes you get the impression that it, like the ideal man, simply does not exist. For me mine ideal men two pencils became at once: Loreal Contour Khol 131

and Artdeco Soft eye liner waterproof 01.

They may have minor shortcomings, but their merits make me turn a blind eye to this and live with them in peace and harmony, not only personally, but also to apply them in my work!”

Artist Elena Krygina is constantly looking for new “tricks” and approaches her work creatively - she either contours her nose with brushes from IKEA, or advises giving up highlighter and replacing it with oil. New text about the most unusual hacks from Elena that will make your life easier.

Brush from the paletteNakedfromUrban Decay-- ideal for concealer

Everyone knows this brush; it comes with the Naked palette. Tough, prickly --- I can’t imagine how you can apply shadows to it. But don’t rush to throw it away, try using the concealer tool - it’s ideal for shading under the eyes.

Oil instead of highlighter

The fashion for strobing has passed. Glitter is still in trend, but now it is different - natural. The skin should be hydrated and have a natural glow. That is why the market is flooded with oils. My favorite is from Estee Lauder, with Smashbox Primer Oil coming in second.

The product should be applied when the tone is already ready, barely touching the face, and not smeared with it, otherwise nothing good will come of it. It creates a natural glow to your skin without the need for highlighters. If you are afraid of an oily sheen, apply a little oil only to your cheekbones.

Brown shadows - for face correction

Don't limit yourself - any product can be used for other purposes. For example, if you don’t have a concealer on hand, but want to highlight your cheekbones or visually narrow your nose, take brown shadows without shimmer, a cool shade. These can be found in any palette - the same Naked from Urban Decay.

The smaller the brush, the better

I love small brushes, even for foundation or powder - they are very convenient. With a small brush you can work out the details more carefully. I'm a millimeter maker. (Laughs.) Especially powder brushes can be simply huge - how can they carefully apply the product, for example, to the T-zone?

4 shades for perfect makeup

I often use up to 4 shades of foundation for one makeup look. Because the face is not uniform. I don't want to straighten it out first, like Blank sheet, and then draw all the volumes again. For example, if I understand that the center of the face should be lighter and the periphery darker, then I use 2 shades of tone to preserve the natural nudeness. Remember: everything that is drawn is drawn. I see. I work the longest on film sets when I need the effect of an unmade-up “clean face.”

Brush from the IKEA children's department

A set of flat brushes costs about 300 rubles - a real find, I even talked about it on the blog. The brushes are very convenient for contouring the nose - I recommend them.

Beautyblender

This is a special sponge for applying liquid foundation. Does not contain latex, hypoallergenic, odorless. Today there are many of its analogues on sale, but Krygina recommends a beautyblender from a brand called The Original Beautyblender. There are 3 types of beautyblender: white, pink and black. A pink beauty blender is the best option for home use. It easily distributes the foundation, slightly reduces the coverage density, and also has the thinnest spout, which is very convenient for applying the foundation to hard-to-reach places. The white beauty blender is the most delicate, due to which it significantly reduces the density of the foundation, so it is best used by girls with ideal skin who just want to add more radiance and even out the skin tone a little. The black beauty blender is suitable for professional makeup. It makes the coverage quite dense and it is better not to use it for everyday makeup.

His Majesty makeup: bloggers showed how to turn a face without makeup into a face from the cover

Beauty bloggers decided to demonstrate how makeup can change your appearance. So, they held a flash mob, during which they published their photographs, in which half of their faces were made up, and half were completely without makeup. How to use glitter in makeup

Although New Year already behind us, glitter in makeup has not been canceled. They will be appropriate at parties and any celebrations. How to use them correctly so that your beauty image is flawless, read and watch in our material. There are two types of glosses: very light, not at all noticeable, which create the effect of radiant skin, and heavier ones - they are best used on the shoulders, collarbone and décolleté, since on the face they quickly crumble due to active facial expressions.

I bought almost everything at Nordstrom, because it is an authorized seller + 5% of the purchase amount at Nordstrom, that is, a guaranteed 5% discount.

So, the list of purchased items:

3. FOUNDATION BRUSH MAC #190 -

Flat synthetic brush with a soft graduated cut.
An alternative or addition to this brush can be a similar brush ($38)
In the past I had the experience of applying tone with a flat Lancome brush, which was very unsuccessful, I hope for the magical power of the MAC brand, I don’t want to think that my hands are just not good at it.

4. POWDER BRUSH MADE FROM NATURAL MATERIALS -

Lena did not indicate any special one, if I had used powder, I would have chosen this one - MAC #150

Phewh... savings. I’ve had this brush (239) for a long time, and I manage to do almost everything with it before my eyes)) Krygina also recommends it, they don’t differ in price.

9. SHADING BRUSH MAC No. 275, Valerie-D -

Here Lena again sends her to the art store. Brush requirements: synthetic, flat, oval, No. 6. I’m not encouraging anyone to buy MAC #316 for 20 bucks, I just personally have no choice.

For those who prefer shopping without intermediaries, I can recommend one MAC seller on ebay, who has a fairly high rating, big choice brushes and delivery to us. But it seemed to me that his prices were higher than in online stores.

My cost for the brushes was 2 items from Amazon ($114.50 including shipping) + 9 MAC brushes from Nordstrom ($255.00 free shipping) - 5% cashback ($12.75) = $356.75 Postage from a reseller to my country was $42 (without insurance ), the total purchase with delivery is about $399.
It would be possible to save money on brushes from an “art” store, but this is not my case, unfortunately. Still, I'm happy and looking forward to the parcel.

NB! Since the beginning of the year, Nordstrom has been closed to Russian IPs, use programs that replace the IP address (for example, TOR browser), or a web proxy, for example cameleo.ru, or order everything through a live chat operator on the Nordstrom website.

NB2! Cashback (discount) from the Ebates website can vary from 3 to 10% on “holidays”, this can save you a lot. Don’t forget to compare cashback with Mr.Rebates, usually there is 5%, choose the site that is more profitable at the moment.

NB3! There are other stores that sell MAC and Bobbi Brown, such as beautyencounter.com and allcosmeticswholesale.com, but they have a very limited selection of brushes, so they were not included in the sample.

That's it, the topic of brushes is over for me :) If my post helps you right choice and save some money, I’ll be glad :).
