Balloon drawing for children. How to draw balloons beautifully

One of the primary tasks for beginners is to learn how to depict simple figures, including the ball. To draw a ball, let's mark a circle, and then apply shadows on it with dashed lines.

To work on drawing this basic figure we will need:

  • paper, preferably landscape paper, but standard A4 is also possible;
  • eraser;
  • a simple, graphite, well-sharpened pencil.

The shape of a ball can be seen in many objects, so the drawing skills you have acquired will be useful when depicting apples, a ball, buds of unopened flowers, and other round objects. Let's consider the algorithm of actions, following which we will understand how to draw a ball.

Step one. Marking

Let's first draw the basis of the future ball - smooth circle. Draw a horizontal line in the center of the sheet, marking its middle with a dot. Through it we will draw a line of the same length, but vertically, at right angles to the first one. We don’t draw the lines too much; they should be light and inconspicuous. If it is difficult for you to determine the center of a line segment by eye, you can use a ruler. But over time, try to train your “eye”; not a single artist can do without it.

Step two. Circle

Connecting extreme points the resulting cross, the edges of our segments on the lines. If it turns out uneven, use an eraser and try again. We repeat until we see a relatively even circle. Now the extra lines can be removed.

Step three. Ellipse

We measure the distance from the shadow location mark to the central point, and mark the same segment with a dot on the other side. Through them we draw a flattened oval - an ellipse.

Step four. And again ellipses

We carry out horizontal lines above and below, parallel to the one that lies at the base of the circle. We draw two more ovals along them - above and below the central one. They will mark the boundaries between the illuminated and darkened areas of the ball. Depending on how our figure interacts with light, we select three areas: shadow, strong and weak light.

Step five. Adding volume

The general diagram of the distribution of light and shade in the picture is shown in the figure. To make the ball three-dimensional, we will apply light and shade. Let's decide where the light will come from. In the sample, the light source is on top, so we apply a highlight to the most illuminated place on top of our circle, while marking the width of the shadow with a stroke.

Step six. Light and shadow

Let us consider in more detail the issue of lighting distribution. Depending on the degree to which one or another area of the ball is illuminated, we will apply shadows by shading. We have a highlight from above, that is, the most illuminated place. Approximately in the middle is the darkest place with a densely applied stroke. The lower hemisphere is darker, the upper hemisphere near the highlight is lighter, there will be partial shade.

To make it clearer how to draw a ball, place it next to you round object and carefully examine where the light areas are and where the shadows are.

Step seven. Toning

Apply arc-shaped strokes to the shadow area parallel to the contour of the figure. In the partial shade area we do smooth transition, drawing the lines with light pencil movements, leaving a light gray spot around the highlight. We mark the reflex - the place of reflection from the plane where the ball is located, making it lighter than the falling shadow. Add the so-called “body” shadow of the ball. The closer she is to him, the darker it gets. If desired, you can add background details or other objects to the drawing.

Instructions

First of all, try to depict an even circle- basis ball A. Draw a straight line in the part of the sheet you need and mark a point in its center. Through this point, draw a line of the same length perpendicular to the first. Let the lines be barely noticeable. You can use a ruler to determine the center, but it is better to learn to use your eye - if you intend to draw in the future, this will come in handy more than once.

Draw a circle by connecting the 4 extreme points of the intersecting lines. Don't be discouraged if you don't get an even circle the first time - just try to draw it until you get it right. If necessary, erase the extra lines when the circle is ready.

The next stage is creating volume. This is achieved by applying shadows. For example, light falls from the left and from above. Mark the brightest part with a dot. ball A. Use a stroke to mark the width of the shadow.

Now draw the diameter ball and through its center, perpendicular to the direction of the incident light. Draw an ellipse on the base of the diameter segment. Its purpose is to indicate the boundaries of light and shadow.

Conditionally ball is divided into several parts depending on the degree of illumination. One part is strongly lit, the other is weakly lit, the third is darker, the fourth is in the shadow. Designate these areas of different illumination, first mentally. For clarity, you can place in front of your eyes some physical object in the form ball A. The most illuminated place that reflects light is called a highlight. You can simply remember it or mark it on paper.

Around the highlight there will be a light spot, around it there will be penumbra (a gradual transition from light to shadow), as well as the most shadowy area. Draw the shadow using arcing strokes.

Now move on to shading. If you draw pencil, just leave the highlight area untouched. Make the light area light gray, the shading should become darker in the direction of the shadow. Use arcing strokes parallel to the outline ball a, and then diverging radially from the highlight to the shadow. Mark the reflex as lighter compared to the falling shadow (reflex is a reflection from the surface on which it is located) ball).

Draw a body shadow (cast ball ohm to the surface). The farther from ball and, the lighter the shadow. In daylight it is less clear, in artificial light it is clearer.

If necessary, draw the object plane and background.

note

Do not use the eraser too often to avoid damaging the paper. Choose a quality soft eraser.

Helpful advice

If you haven't drawn before, first practice shading and learn how to hold a pencil correctly.

A sphere is the surface of a ball. Ball - geometric body; the collection of all points in space that are located at a distance not greater than a given one from the center. This distance is called the radius of the ball. Ability to draw correctly sphere is one of the basic ones for the artist, because many objects (or their components) have a spherical shape, which he has to capture on paper or canvas. The main task here is to convey the volume of the ball on a plane using chiaroscuro.

You will need

  • - a sheet of A3 paper;
  • - easel;
  • - pencils of varying degrees of softness;
  • - eraser.

Instructions

Start with a mental sphere on a sheet: determine the location and size on it future sphere. Draw 2-3 straight lines intersecting at one point and lay off equal segments equal to the radius of the ball from the point of their intersection. Do not press on the pencil. These lines should not be visible in the final drawing; they are needed only to construct the outline of the ball. For this purpose, use a hard pencil.

Connect the resulting points into a regular circle. Then determine where the light falls on the ball. Imagine a plane located perpendicular to the ray of light and dividing the ball in half - into illuminated and shadowed hemispheres. The area that lies on the border of these two is the shaded part of the ball.

At the point at which the light falls perpendicularly, there is the most illuminated part of the sphere - the highlight. On the opposite side of the ball there is a reflex - the reflection of incident rays of light from a horizontal surface, which softly illuminates the ball from below. Determine the contours of the shadow falling from the ball onto the plane of the table.

Now, using strokes applied to the shape of the ball, convey smooth light transitions: from a light highlight gradually moving to the penumbra, then to the darkest part of the ball - its own shadow, and then to the shadowed part of the ball, where its surface is gradually illuminated by a reflex. When painting the darkest areas, use soft pencil. To create a highlighting effect, you can use an eraser.

Also, using light and shadow transitions, draw a falling shadow. It is more intense than the ball's own shadow and has slightly blurred boundaries. The darkest point of your drawing will be where the ball touches the table surface.

It is important that the contours of the ball are not sharply outlined and do not “cut out” it from the general background. Achieve the complete illusion of volume with contours and light and shade, giving the impression of a rounded ball shape.

To teach a child to draw balloon pencil, you will only need 10 minutes of free time, and also a ruler with geometric shapes.

On balloons Not only brave balloonists rise, but also romantic princesses from girls' cartoons. It’s so interesting to look at the planet from a great height! To teach a child to draw a balloon with a pencil, you will need only 10 minutes of free time, and also a ruler with geometric shapes.

Main design elements:

  • the actual ball,
  • basket on ropes,
  • ballast (sandbags).

Draw a circle on a vertical sheet of paper large diameter. In reality, the ball is shaped more like an incandescent light bulb, but this is difficult for small children. For now we are learning to make a schematic and quite recognizable image.

Just below the ball there will be a basket. We choose its shape in accordance with the child’s capabilities. For older people - a trapezoid, for kids - a rectangle, even if using a ruler. The width of the basket is significantly smaller than that of the ball.

We connect the two parts with strong ropes.

We give the ball visual volume. In the upper part we paint over the oval, in the center we lower a straight line, on the sides of it - arcs. We complete the design with wavy transverse lines.

We “hang” several bags of sand outside - this is ballast.

We color the picture so that it becomes as bright and joyful as a hot air balloon flight.

It is easy to consolidate the acquired skill. Draw several circles in the album at a distance from each other. Invite your child to finish drawing the balls with a pencil or felt-tip pen. The image is simple, and it can be reproduced with chalk on the asphalt, a stick on the sand, or a finger on a scattering of semolina. The main thing is to learn three basic elements. Well, at the same time, you can tell why the ball changes height, how its flight depends on the wind.

Another option for an art master class is in a cartoon with the song “Draw a picture, Topic!” This series for kids is posted online in the public domain. Now that the preschooler can draw a balloon step by step, it’s time to compose adventure story and launch its first aeronauts into the sky.

Show balloons– a very colorful event that always attracts many spectators. Preschoolers and their parents can make an application on this topic. Let each ball have a unique pattern, like a mosaic assembled from pieces of holographic colored paper or tracing paper. Illustrations from unnecessary magazines and advertising booklets, passed through a hole punch, are also suitable for decoration. The preparation of the craft is very simple: a ball, a trapezoidal basket, twisted thread for ropes.

IN modern life Too much of everything is automated and mechanized. And the more valuable become hand-made things and drawings created with soul. Many people love to draw - young children, teenagers, and adults. Sometimes you want to depict some interesting real object. For example, you can learn how to draw balloons with a basket from this article.

Where do the balloons come from?

A long time ago, people wanted to rise above the ground. Hot air ballooning made it possible to travel by air relatively safely. In essence, such an aircraft is a sphere connected by ropes to a passenger basket. This method of transportation is still used today, but more as an entertainment attraction or as an option for a romantic date. Many artists depict it on love cards. How to draw balloons? Let's find out, it's worth learning, if only to please your loved one.

Stages of creating a drawing

Let's take a closer look at how to draw a balloon step by step. First of all, you need to decide how many balls will be depicted and determine the proportions of the objects. At the next stage of deciding how to draw balloons, you need to outline a large sphere and a small basket. Next, the sphere itself is divided into shares, like an orange - these are the ropes that hold the ball and the basket together. You also need to detail the passenger basket, making sure that it is connected to the ball itself. When completing the drawing, you need to carefully remove the construction lines with an eraser. In order to add dynamics and liveliness to your work, you can outline clouds, treetops, and birds flying nearby.

Most holidays, no matter how original and rare they may be, are always accompanied by stable decorative elements. Of course, this is a cake, a couple of drunk people, a bunch of banal toasts mixed with the same jokes, and also one special element that brings joy to the kids. At the request of the latter, you will now see a lesson on how to draw air balloons step by step. Ball first geometric figure so polygonal that it appears round to the naked eye, and even more so to the armed eye. The balloon is far from round, which makes him feel complex and often commits suicide by piercing himself with any sharp object, or refuses to breathe, causing him to suffer from anorexia and completely deflate. The presence of a subject, according to unwritten laws, increases the level of festivity in any situation by one hundred units.

On the other hand, ball is the average name of a dog of any breed and origin, so familiar in native land that this information is already in their genetic code. Tuzik, Polkan and Kashtanka sound less banal, but are used extremely rarely. This process is controlled by an unknown force, for which humanity is not yet ready, however, individually, each Tuzik is a little Sharik, and this is already a paradox.

Nonsense and more:

  • The first balloons were inflated from the skin of bulls and whales, presumably dead at that time. Nightmare;
  • Self-inflating balloons are a new word in the field of nanotechnology of the future, in which the balloon has thinking and can determine the cause and consequences of its inflation;
  • An interesting record was set by the Walt Disney studio, which launched 1,592,744 balloons into the air at the same time. It's beautiful;
  • One ball lifts 3 grams of weight. Attention to the question: how many balls does it take to lift you into the air?

And drawing them is not difficult. See for yourself:
