Preliminary work:

Excursion to the rookery. Examination of the paintings: “The rooks have arrived”, “Spring has come”. Observations of birds, snow melting in the sun, in the shade, the appearance of thawed patches, the first streams. Listening musical works P. Tchaikovsky "Seasons". Compiling stories and descriptions on the topic: What has changed lately.”

Educator– Children, Queen Tassel has come to visit us.

Showing the sequence of work:

Educator– “Queen Brush” invites you to an art workshop where we will perform magic. To do this, take the “magic brush” with your thumb and middle finger, holding it on top with your index finger.

1. Dip the brush in water, then in blue or purple paint and paint over most sheet by moving your hand from left to right, evenly distributing the paint, diluting with water so that the sheet does not get wet. This is the main background of our picture.

2. For the lower part of the picture, select a shade Brown. These will be spring thawed patches.

Educator- Children, look - what have we done?

Children's answers.

Educator- That's right, a boat is sailing along the stream, in the lower part on the right there are bushes, spring thawed patches, birds are flying above.

Children examine and complement.

Educator– Here is a picture about nature, which is called “landscape”.

Before we begin the magic of creating a painting, let's massage our hands with a pencil.

Hand massage

Take the pencil in your hands, hold it between your palms and roll it,

Bring your palms to your right ear

Bring your palms to your left ear,

What do you hear? (he rustles).

Put the pencils down, place your palms on your cheeks and forehead. What do you feel (warmth).

Educator– Take your seats in the workshop and let’s begin the “magic.”

Doing work by children.

Educator– We wash the brushes, dry them on napkins, and put them on a stand.

Finger game "Five and Five"

Five and five went for a walk (arms in front of you, palms wide apart, fingers of both palms bent and extended).

It's fun to play together (rotation of hands).

Turned around, turned around (turn palms left and right).

Curled into a fist again (they form a fist with their fingers).

Well done guys (knocks fist on fist).

We guys are brave!

The exercise is performed 2 times.

Educator- Which wonderful paintings about nature - you got the “landscapes”.

What secrets of creating paintings will you tell your parents at home? (children's answers).

What is shown on the right and left in the picture?

Children– On the right is a tree with swollen buds.

What is shown against the sky?

Children– Migratory birds are above.

What do you see on the bottom of the sheet?

Children– Spring thawed patches.

What's going on with the bunny?

Children- The bunny hid near the animals not far from the tree, because he did not have time to change his white coat to a gray one and he was not visible.

Educator- We got a real one Art Gallery. Well done to all of you!

Did you know that paraffin can be used in fine art? No? So, now we’ll tell you more about this in an unusual way drawing, which is accessible even to small children.

Moreover, regardless of age young artist the picture will turn out very impressive due to the contrast with black.

This method of drawing is called “waxography”, because instead of paraffin you can use wax, or grattage, which is translated from French means “scrape, scratch.” This is the peculiarity of the technique - creating an image by scratching.

Any available tool with a pointed end is suitable as a “scratching” tool: a nail, a toothpick, a compass, a knitting needle. For safety reasons, it is better to offer small children regular ballpoint pen with a rod that has run out of paste.

To make “scratches” without much difficulty, the surface of the cardboard must be thoroughly rubbed with a candle, trying to cover it all with paraffin down to the millimeter. Otherwise, where there is no paraffin layer, the line will be interrupted, and all efforts will end with a hole in the cardboard.

You can rub it with a candle white cardboard, or you can paint it in advance with watercolors, depending on the theme of the drawing. Let's say you want to depict a winter landscape with fir trees covered in snow. In this case, there is no need to create a colored background. And if autumn trees against the backdrop of the sunset sky, apply blurry horizontal stripes of all the colors of the rainbow to the cardboard. Be sure to let the paint dry and only then rub the sheet with paraffin. By the way, someone uses it instead white clay, soap or egg yolk.

The most difficult part of the job is to apply black paint on top: due to the high fat content of the paraffin, it does not adhere well and collects in puddles. But if you are patient and apply layer by layer, everything will work out. Usually they use black mascara, which, unlike gouache, does not stain your hands as much and is more durable.

When preparatory work finished, the fun begins - scraping black paint, through which palaces and jungles, cosmic distances and the underwater kingdom, butterflies and unprecedented birds appear. It is especially exciting to make a drawing on a colorful background, because you never know exactly what color will appear at the “scratch” site.

This, as you understand, symbol, because in grattage, as in any other form visual arts, there are some techniques performed by “scrapers” different shapes and thickness: straight and wavy lines, dots and feathers, toning and cross-hatching. Merged together they form amazing paintings, looking at which no one will say that a novice amateur artist worked on them, and not a professional.

JOURNEY INTO HISTORY The history of the invention of candles can be traced back to the heyday of the Roman Empire, which gave the world many useful inventions. It was the Romans who first began to use wicks in the manufacture of candles, which they used to illuminate their homes and temples, and also used them to move through dark city streets and trees.

JOURNEY INTO HISTORY Wax candles do not produce soot or unpleasant odor; they burn brightly and evenly. But fat in large quantities is easier to obtain than wax, so wax candles were expensive and were used only in the homes of wealthy citizens, nobles and the royal court, and thus began the history of the wax candle.

CANDLE MAKING TECHNOLOGY They took a twisted thread - the future wick, twice as long as the candle and tied it to a stick, folding it in half and weaving the ends. On one stick there were several blanks for candles. Next, these wicks were dipped into melted lard, removed and allowed to cool. This procedure was repeated several times until the candles of the required thickness were obtained.

MODERN HISTORY OF CANDLES Massive extraction of paraffin made it possible to make cheap candles, since it cost much less than wax and similar substances. At the same time, paraffin burns as brightly as wax, without emitting an unpleasant pungent odor.

LESSON EQUIPMENT You will need: - candles - White paper- watercolor paints - brush - oilcloth (newspaper) on the table Creative task: 1. Cover the table with newspaper. 2. Spread a sheet of white paper and, pressing firmly, make a design with a candle. 3. Paint over this design with watercolors

What you need to know! Watercolors WILL adhere to, or be absorbed into, the paper, but not where it is covered with wax. Watercolor paints are held to paper by a force called AGRITION. But this did not happen where wax is present, because between it and the paper there is a great strength, which is called STICKING. Game 1. You can draw several different simple drawings and invite children 2-4 years old to use watercolor paints to find out what is drawn. 2. Children can draw their own designs with a candle and develop them with paint.

Art lesson ( unconventional technique"Drawing with a candle") in the middle group.

Theme: “Frosty pattern”

Lesson objectives:

Arouse children's interest in winter natural phenomena.

Develop visual observation, the ability to notice unusual things in the world around you and the desire to reflect what you see in your work.

Improve children's skills and abilities by freely experimenting with visual material, help children master the spontaneous drawing method.

Develop imagination and creativity.

Materials for the lesson:

Landscape sheet;

A piece of candle;

Watercolor paints;

Brush.

Preliminary work: observations of frosty patterns on windows in winter

Progress of the lesson

1. Organizational part

The teacher offers the children riddles.

Stars are falling from the sky,

They will lie down in the fields.

Let him hide under them

Black earth.

Many, many stars

Thin as glass;

The stars are cold,

And the earth is warm. (Snowflakes)

It's frosty in white January, The trees are drowning in silver. Bushes, birches and aspens Decorated with light glitter... (frost).

It happens, and pebbles fly from the sky.

Passers-by are hiding, But all that’s left is... (hail).

I'm walking in the field

I fly free

I'm spinning, I'm muttering,

I don't want to know anyone.

I run along the village,

I'm sweeping up snowdrifts.

(Blizzard

She grows upside down

It grows not in summer, but in winter,

But the sun will bake her,

She will cry and die. (Icicle)

What kind of master is this?

I applied leaves and herbs to the glass,

And thickets of roses. (Freezing)

Transparent like glass

You can't put it in the window. (Ice

Teacher. Well done guys, you are very observant, so you guessed the riddles correctly. Tell me, when do all these natural phenomena occur, at what time of year?

Children . In winter.

Teacher . And who is winter’s faithful and irreplaceable helper?

Children. Freezing.

Teacher. Right. As winter comes, so does the cold. Frost is walking around the world. He walks through forests and fields, cities and villages. He also came to our house. He knocked on the window, and at that time we were sleeping and did not hear anything. Frost left us a beautiful letter. We woke up in the morning and looked out the window. How beautiful! Painted! Everything is in lace and patterns! This is what Frost wrote and drew: twigs - white blades of grass, snowflakes, ice flowers, palm leaves, feathers of strange birds, curls and icy hooks...

Wizard

Frost is a magician, you can see it right away:

I haven't opened my album yet,

And he is already without brushes and paints

He painted all the windows for us overnight.

D. Chuyako

Teacher . Guys, how do you think Moroz draws these patterns?

Children's opinions: It blows cold air onto the glass, magically throws snowflakes onto the windows, and they stick to the window.

Teacher . In fact, from the cold, frosty air, droplets of water that are present in the air settle on the cold glass, freeze and turn into pieces of ice, similar to the thinnest needles, which disperse in different directions along the glass. During a cold night, many, many of them are formed, they seem to build on each other. And as a result, you get different patterns and drawings, in which you can even see the outlines of familiar objects. This, it turns out, is how frosty patterns are formed, and the artist here, without a doubt, is Frost. You and I had the opportunity to observe them, remember who saw what in Moroz’s drawings?

Children's answers: Christmas tree, snowflakes, snowman, flowers, birds, etc.

Teacher. Guys, do you think we could draw patterns in such a way that at first they were invisible, and then suddenly appeared, like Frost’s?

Children . No.

Pedago d. But in fact it is possible: it turns out that there are materials by painting with which we first get almost invisible patterns, but if we cover them with watercolors on top, the patterns will appear, as if photographic film is being developed. This method. drawing is called "photocopying".

The teacher invites the children to pick up pieces of the candle and try to run them along an additional sheet of paper to make sure that the candle does not leave visible marks. Then cover the top with paint and watch the invisible pattern appear.

Teacher . Guys, why do you think the lines made with a candle are not colored, like a sheet of paper where there is no drawing?

Children's opinions.

Teacher . A candle consists of a substance - wax, which repels water, as if it rolls off its surface. Therefore, a design made with a water-repellent material appears after applying watercolor paint diluted with water.

Today we will try to create magic - we will draw frosty pattern, only with the help of a candle. But first you need to cast a magic winter spell so that everything turns out no worse for you and me than Frost himself:

Spells of Winter (excerpt from a poem)

Lie down, soft snows.Standing in a circle, raise your arms above your head,

To the forests and meadowssmoothly lower them down through the sides

Cover the paths Hands - in front of you, smoothly one by one

Publish the branches. shake them up and down.

On the windows, Santa Claus,Simulate drawing motion

Scatter crystal roses"brush" in any direction alternately

Light visions right, left hands.

Tricky gossip.

Enchant people's heartsRaise your hands above your head

The beauty of your ideas:, smoothly lower them down through the sides.

In light patterns

Let your eyes penetrate

You, Metelitsa, are a miracle,

Round dances of the backwaters,Sit down, stand up, raise your hands up,

Take off like a white whirlwindspin around yourself.

M. Pozharova

2. Practical part

1.Think over the content of the future pattern.

2. Make a drawing using a candle, following the rule of filling the sheet with a pattern: it is best to start drawing in its upper part, go down as the sheet is filled with an invisible pattern, so that the drawn elements do not overlap each other.

Cover the finished drawing on top watercolor paint shades of blue or purple, in order to avoid the sheet getting wet, do not apply paint repeatedly to the same place, cover the sheet evenly, without leaving empty spaces.
