Vasily Golovanov: They don’t tell me whether to praise or criticize someone on air. Creative couples: when a husband and wife are engaged to journalism

You have become laureateXXI national award “Person of the Year 2016” in the category “Television Journalist of the Year”.Why do you thinkINwere you nominated?

– It seems to me that this is an assessment of the work of our team. I am very pleased that the work of the entire team was appreciated, because behind every TV presenter there is a team, in my case it is “112 Ukraine”, of which I am proud.

What is she like?" team 112" ?

“It’s big, and it’s very nice.” There are many people who have been working since the very first days of its founding. We consider the first broadcast to be the start, November 28, 2013, but not everyone knows that work was also carried out before that. We came to the canal, where there was nothing yet, where entire floors were covered with film, we were taken and given excursions. Many have remained since that time, the staff has increased, there are more of us. Now on the team " 112" about 500 people. This includes the editors of the site, journalists, editors, make-up artists, presenters, directors, etc. And this whole team, it seems to me, works with pleasure. Of course, there are reworks, but we have a very positive atmosphere on the channel.

How did you become the leader?" 112 Ukraine" ?

– I worked on the radio, and one of the broadcasts was dedicated to television. Director Sergei Neretin was a guest. The broadcast turned out to be very interesting, we became friends, then found each other on Facebook and after some time he wrote to me that an innovation channel was being organized. And he suggested that I try it. I simply fell in love with the idea of “112”, and now this channel is sweeping the television space of our country.

What was your most ester?

– These were rather exciting broadcasts rather than complex ones. In the afternoon slot - broadcast with Tymoshenko, she is a politician with extensive experience and experience. And the second exciting broadcast was an interview with Nadezhda Savchenko.

What are the disadvantages of your job?

– There are downsides to every job. In mine, in particular, the fact that my child sees me very rarely in life, more often on the screen. much more often on screen than at home in person. In the morning I try to have breakfast with my daughter and take her to school, and in the evening, when I come home, she is already asleep. And it happens that he kisses dad right on the TV before going to bed. In addition, daily makeup worsens your vision a little.

What is the difference between the specifics of the work of the Studio’s presenters?liveAnd" Evening Prime" ?

– The main difference between the broadcasts is the guests. During the day they are political scientists, political strategists, experts, economists, volunteers, and in the evening they are deputies and ministers.

Tell us about the editorial policy of the TV channel? What is she like?

– She is objective. On our broadcast they voice different opinions. We try to present the material neutral, without coloring. For example, when we have a guest on air who represents one or another political force, we try to counterbalance him with a different opinion. Either in the same studio, or by telephone, bring out a deputy from another political force so that there is a balance of opinions. Without this there is no way.

There are not a few news channels in Ukraine, rather, even a lot. Tell us what" 112 Ukraine" conceptually different from others?

– Our channel, first of all, is distinguished by the speed of information delivery. In this we do not compete with other TV channels, but rather with the Internet. It also seems to me that our difference from others lies in our impartiality. I am not told to praise or criticize someone on air. For this I am grateful and proud.

Who would you like to invite to your interview?

– I would love to meet Barack Obama. A man who led the country for two terms. He is so charismatic and charming as a politician, but he is interesting not only in this role. Remember Obama's performances as a comedian back when he was president?

– How do you remember 2016?

– This year, many important things happened for the country: the publication of electronic declarations of officials and deputies, Jamala’s victory at Eurovision, the release of Savchenko, the nationalization of PrivatBank. There were and, unfortunately, tragic events: murder of Pavel Sheremet.

Today youaward nominee" Person of the Year" . What award do you still dream of?

There are respected awards such as Nobel Prize, "Oscar", "Teletriumph", "Kiev Pectoral".

Vasily, you received an education that has nothing to do with acting and television. YouMaster of Finance and Bachelor of Laws. What made you change your activities in life so radically?

– In my case, there was a dream, and there was a harsh reality of life. Since childhood, I dreamed of being an actor, a TV presenter, but reality said that I needed to earn money, become a lawyer, an economist. Then it was very fashion trends. I didn't work by profession. My father, to whom I am immensely grateful, and who gave me these educations, thus believed that he would provide his son with a future, work, and prosperity. I do not regret that I received these specialties.

You were born in Tallinn, how did you end up in Kyiv?

– My father was a military man in the past. And previously it was accepted that military personnel were regularly resettled different cities. My father served in Tallinn, where I was born, and then he was transferred to Kyiv.

Does chance take place in your life or is your life a chain of patterns?

– Probably, there is a share of both chance and patterns. You can't rely only on chance

– How did your collaboration with the Theater begin?" Black square" ?

– I graduated from university, started working on television, and one of my colleagues advised me to take exams at the Black Square Theater. And there, if you enroll, classes are held three times a week for three hours. I took the exam and have stayed with the theater ever since. I got so involved in these activities. It's very addictive. Passed through our studio great amount of people. Many of them became successful.

What is your favorite role and what role do you dream about? The work of the presenter does not interfere creative career?

– My favorite performance on this moment– “Bra online.” In March we will go on a tour throughout Ukraine. Our performances are good because at some point everyone can recognize themselves. The audience does not remain indifferent.

– The actor plays a certain character, gets used to the role, and on stage the viewer sees a certain image, and not Vasily Golovanov? As a presenter, are you playing someone or not?

- No, you don’t have to play anyone. You even have to restrain yourself on air, because sometimes you want to joke. I allow myself this if it is within the acceptable limits. IN " Evening Prime“I’m the same as in life, only more serious. In life, I try to smile more often and make others smile more often. On the air, we still talk about serious issues, about the fate of people and the country.

On January 1, 2017, General Producer of the NewsOne TV channel Alexey Semenov and his wife Alla Tulinskaya gave birth to a daughter, Elizaveta.

Story

In 2011, a digital competition was held between regional television companies, in which the television and radio companies won New format TV", "Partner TV", "Ariadna TV", "TV Choice" and "Leader TV". These TV channels were soon bought by Andrei Podshchipkov, and on November 5, 2012, the National Television Council reissued their broadcast licenses under the name of the new TV channel “112 Ukraine”.

Test broadcasting of the TV channel began in August 2013 after a month earlier it received an 8-year license for satellite broadcasting through the company TRK 112-TV LLC). Broadcasting from the Amos satellite in HD format began on November 6, 2013, and on November 26 at 16:00 the presentation and official launch of the TV channel took place. Thanks to the merger of the five above-mentioned television channels, broadcasting became national. Digital broadcasting is carried out in DVB-T2 and DVB-S2 formats, cable broadcasting and Internet broadcasting are also available.

On July 8, 2014, representatives of the 112-Ukraine TV channel signed an agreement on cooperation and readiness to conduct “due diligence” together with the Spanish-language American channel BuenaVisionTV. According to former creative director Viktor Zubritsky, who left the TV channel due to the sale of a blocking stake to the above investor, the foreign TV channel is going to finance the creation of a new news program- “112 USA”, “112 EU” and “112 Ukraine”. According to the terms of the deal, part of the shares will go to BuenaVisionTV director Carlos Barba, but there is no talk of selling the channel.

In 2015, the channel took first place among the information channels in Ukraine, leaving behind Channel 5 and “24”.

In 2015, Podshchipkov, against whom several criminal cases were initiated for violation tax legislation, left Ukraine. According to Zubritsky, in the fall of 2016 he applied for political asylum in Belgium. .

In September 2016, MP Alexander Onishchenko, currently in London due to a criminal case, announced his participation in 2015 in negotiations on the purchase of the 112 Ukraine channel on behalf of President Petro Poroshenko. To confirm his words, he provided screenshots of telephone conversations and scans. Representatives of the BPP denied the deputy’s statement. The owner of “112 Ukraine” Andrey Podshchipkov called Onishchenko an independent buyer who negotiated from own name. In turn, Zubritsky confirmed the fact of negotiations and Poroshenko’s status in them. Dmitry Nosikov, who was called in the media the ideologist of the creation of a media holding (which would include Channel 5, 112 Ukraine and NewsOne), considered what was happening PR campaign to launder Mr. Onishchenko

Ownership structure

According to Viktor Zubritsky, 100% of the shares of the 112 TV channel belong to its owner and to CEO Andrey Podshchipkov. But a number of media outlets reported that as of April 2014, he owned only 0.01% of the channel’s shares, and the remaining shares were held by Olga Zubritskaya (wife of Viktor Zubritsky), who, according to her husband, only owned the company on which a satellite license was issued and thanks to which the TV channel is broadcasting in the satellite range. Also, one of the versions named the real owner of the TV channel as the former Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Vitaly Zakharchenko.

Each of the purchased five television and radio companies is present in a certain region of Ukraine, allowing channel “112” to broadcast on the country’s digital networks with the exception of the Odessa region, as well as Lugansk and Donetsk. At the same time, they have digital licenses for broadcasting in a regional multiplex (MX-5), like regional broadcasters, but in fact they form one national television channel.

Thanks to digital licenses, channel “112” automatically falls into the Universal Program Service (UPS) - a list of channels required for broadcast on all cable networks in Ukraine. After the transition from analogue to digital broadcasting, which is planned for June 2015, “112” will be able to fully be called a national television channel

In the summer of 2016, five television and radio companies changed their ownership structure, starting to belong to each other, as well as the management and composition of the editorial boards. Andrei Podshchipkov himself left leadership positions. At the same time, at the time of disclosure of data in April, the TV channel, through a number of offshore companies, was registered to a resident of the Seychelles, Ivor Omson, and Andrey Podshchipkov was indicated as the ultimate beneficial owner. Omson continues to be listed as a director (board member/administrator) of nine different companies, a number of which are associated with entrepreneur Dmitry Firtash.

Relations with the National Council of Ukraine on Television and Radio Broadcasting

On August 22, the National Council on Television and Radio Broadcasting of Ukraine issued a warning to all five TV channels (New Format TV, Partner TV, Ariadna TV, TV Vibir and Leader TV) that are part of the 112 TV channel for failure to eliminate previously identified violations: lack of films and extensive information broadcasting that do not correspond to the program grid stated in the “112” license.

On January 20, 2015, the National Council conducted a monitoring of five companies, as a result of which the violations previously discovered in August were not corrected: digital licenses again changed the broadcast format from entertainment and information with film screening to purely informational.

In the winter of 2015, the 112 Ukraine TV channel received a warning for broadcasting the talk show "Shuster LIVE", which was attended by Russian journalist Maxim Shevchenko, making pro-Russian statements.

On March 26, 2015, the National Council for Television and Radio Broadcasting issued another 5 warnings for violating the terms of the license.

National Council long time demanded to reveal the real owners of the TV channel, although Andrei Podshchipkov repeatedly declared his sole ownership of 112 Ukraine.

In September 2015, the National Council decided to go to court to cancel regional licenses for digital terrestrial television of the subsidiaries of the 112 Ukraine group - New Format TV, Ariadna TV, Partner TV, TV Choice, Leader TV”, and also decided to go to court and collect a fine that was imposed on the company as a sanction. The reason for filing the lawsuit was the channels’ failure to eliminate violations of license terms that were repeatedly registered by the regulator. At the same time, the regulator failed to notify broadcasters about previous sanctions, since companies simply do not accept letters even by courier delivery.
