Vladimir Volegov was born in Khabarovsk. He began drawing at the age of three and his talent was repeatedly noted throughout his youth. Studied at the art school “Krivoy Rog”. After serving in the army, Vladimir Volegov entered the Lvov Printing Institute in the former Soviet Union.
Since 1984, Vladimir Volegov began to participate and win in international competitions poster art.
In 1988, Vladimir Volegov moved to Moscow and soon Vladimir Volegov's career in commercial art was in full swing. He started creating for musical groups posters, designed CDs and album covers, while Vladimir continued to work on his paintings and participated in exhibitions.
In 1990, Vladimir Volegov began traveling to Europe, where he made money by painting portraits on the streets of Barcelona, Berlin, Vienna and others European cities. It was from this experience that he honed his skills in depicting the human form.
Since 2004, Vladimir Volegov has defined the style in which he continues to work successfully - romantic realism. Born on December 19, 1957 in Khabarovsk Vladimir Volegov. Even as a child, the boy’s parents separated. Mom and her two-year-old child moved to Sverdlovsk, now Yekaterinburg. Since then, the road has been a second home for Vladimir and his mother, as they constantly wandered from place to place. From an early age, his mother recognized a special talent in the boy. He drew beautifully, was diligent and observant. Vladimir’s teachers also saw this talent. The boy was often asked to decorate the classroom walls with drawings. At the age of 13, he received his first money for work. The young man drew a poster in honor of Labor Day. After this work, Vladimir was noticed. They began to trust him more complex work, for example, designing movie posters. No one doubted that the young man real talent. Therefore, Volegov entered art school, which was located in Krivoy Rog. There he learned about the works of Repin and Serov. These classics most influenced the earlier work of Vladimir Volegov.
After finishing his studies at school, Vladimir goes to serve. After the army, he marries and becomes the father of two daughters. His family did not stop him from doing what he loved. Therefore, in the 80s, Volegov entered the Faculty of Graphics in Lvov. The entrance ticket to the university was an illustration for the work “The Young Guard”, which Vladimir drew during the entrance exam.
Eight years later, Volegov moved to Moscow to become famous master of your business. Vladimir designed not only posters for advertising agencies, but also covers vinyl records and even CDs. Then he managed to work with such stars as Pugacheva, Kirkorov, Tsyganova and others.
