Karolina Miroslavovna Kuek was born in small town Kitsman, Chernivtsi region, Ukrainian SSR. Caroline's father, Miroslav Ivanovich Kuek, graduated School of Music majoring in conductor and philological faculty of Chernivtsi University, he worked as a journalist, and his mother, Zhanna Vasilyevna Linkova, was an announcer on the regional radio.

The newborn already had two older brothers - Sergei and Igor. In 1987, Sergei, who paid especially close attention to the development of his sister’s vocal abilities, died in Afghanistan.
The girl wanted to sing on stage at the age of four, so as she grew up she began actively trying out her voice at school and city talent competitions. In 1992, Carolina became the winner of the popular local festival “Primrose,” where she also met Yuri Thalesa, a representative of the Titan production center. So the girl signed her first contract and became a professional singer.
