In 2011, the distance learning system for experts was supplemented with similar blocks in all subjects for the training of GIA-9 experts.

I conscientiously spent two days testing the “Prototype of an Internet system for distance training,” which is the name of the distance learning program for Unified State Examination experts. I used the word “testing” for the reason that the name of the system includes “prototype”, which means we are beta testers... free and not at your own request.

Since 2005, FIPI employees have been developing an experimental set of educational computer programs. At the moment, demo versions of the program have been prepared in the Russian language, mathematics, social studies, chemistry and geography.

The Unified State Exam Expert series programs are designed to practice the procedure for checking and evaluating part “C” tasks. The electronic manual allows, with the least material costs, to organize effective and psychologically comfortable training of experts of the regional commissions of the Unified State Examination in the form of face-to-face and distance learning, as well as to solve the problem of attestation and certification of trained specialists, to identify a group of “third experts” based on objective indicators.

The software is aimed at the formation and development of professional competence of specialists in the field of checking tasks with a detailed answer of the Unified State Exam.

The implementation of this goal is ensured by solving the following educational tasks through a computer program:

• formation of a general understanding among users about control measuring materials, their structure and content; about the purpose, typology and modifications of tasks with a detailed answer in the structure of CIMs;
• formation of skills
• work with instructions and criteria governing the procedure for checking and evaluating graduates’ answers to tasks with a detailed answer;
• check and consistently objectively evaluate graduates’ answers to tasks with a detailed answer;
• identify typical errors in graduates’ work.

The programs are designed for individual user work. It is possible to save results, keep a log, collect and record statistics on the results of work at various stages of preparation

The program includes:

• background information: task descriptions, instructions, expert work algorithms, work evaluation criteria;
• trainings aimed at developing methods for checking and assessing tasks of various types;
• tests that involve the assessment of all tasks of type “C” in several works of graduates in a mode as close as possible to testing under exam conditions (following the procedure, clearly recording the time).
