Sarah Larson is a Swedish singer. Swedish pop star

The famous singer Zara Larsson, whose personal life is now of interest to many, was born in 1997 in Stockholm, Sweden. After 3 years, she had a younger sister named Hannah.

Zara became interested in singing as a child. The parents realized that the girl had talent. In 2007, Larsson took part in the Swedish talent show, where she reached the finals. A year later, the girl went to the famous show “Talang” in Sweden, where she performed songs by Whitney Houston and Celine Dion. Zara became the winner of this show and received 500 thousand Swedish crowns as a prize. And at that moment the young singer was only 10 years old.

A cover of Celine's song "My Heart Will Go On" was released as a separate single, and the video of Zara's performance in the finale of "Talang" has already been watched more than 10 million times. For some time after winning the talent show, almost nothing was heard about the girl, but already in 2012 she was offered a contract with one of the well-known labels, under the terms of which Zara would have to record an album.

It was a mini-album that went on sale in January 2013. It consisted of 5 songs. One of them, “Uncover,” reached number one on the top Swedish charts, and also reached number 1 on the Norwegian chart and number 3 on the Danish chart. Already in February of the same year, the video for this single was viewed on YouTube more than 50 million times, and it was certified platinum. Larsson's mini-album became triple platinum in Sweden - it was bought more than 120 thousand times.

In March, Zara announced that she was recording a second mini-album. It was released in July 2013. It also had 5 songs. In the same year, the singer signed a 3-year contract with the global label Epic Records.

At the end of 2013, Larsson embarked on his first ever tour of North America. In 2014, the first full-length studio album entitled “1” was released. In 2015, the artist released the single “Lush Life,” which broke all records and went platinum in a number of countries, including the UK and the USA. The next single, “Never Forget You,” achieves the same success.

In 2016 and 2017, Zara recorded duets with David Guetta, Tinie Tempah and the group Klin Bandit. In March 2017, Larsson released her second studio album, So Good, which has already gone platinum in the UK and gold in the USA. In the same year, the singer goes on a world tour, during which she will visit the UK, France, the Netherlands, Germany, Norway, Finland, the USA, Ireland, Canada, Denmark, the Philippines and Japan with concerts.

Zara is an open feminist. She calls herself a big Beyoncé fan. She talks little about her personal life, but it is known that she is not yet married. She was once seen in a restaurant with Justin Bieber himself, but nothing more was heard about their relationship. She claims that she “always tries to be friendly to everyone.”

Zara (or often the variant Sarah) Larsson was born in Sweden (12/16/1997), where she lived with her parents and sister.

In the photo you can see little Zara and her mom and dad.

She won the country's main talent show in 2008 - a kind of version of the famous American show "America's Got Talent." Since then, she has achieved even greater success: she signed a contract with a recording studio, released her debut album, and her singles climbed to the top of the charts around the world. (take her first song Uncover or the hit Lush Life).

As I already noted, Zara recently released her debut album “So Good”, which was supported by a single of the same name and a video for it.

In addition, another single was presented - Ain't my fault, which also topped the charts around the world.

In many interviews, Zara emphasizes that her idol is Beyoncé - her vocal abilities, stage presence, as well as attitude towards fans and issues of feminism and equality of people are very close to the girl; Zara even attended her concert, and, in her own words, literally could not utter a word when she saw her idol face to face, because she was too shocked. The photo shows Zara and her younger sister Hannah.

At the age of 19, Zara has achieved truly great success, becoming not only the pride of Sweden, but also an international artist, whose songs are equally successful not only in Europe, but also in the West. In my opinion, this rise was possible not so much due to the singer’s charming appearance, but, undoubtedly, to her amazing voice. I can rarely mention an artist whose songs in the live version sound exactly the same as on the studio recording, but Zara is one of them. I haven’t seen a single bad performance of hers: everywhere her voice sounds great, and in some places even better and more atmospheric than on the recording. Recent The Summertime Ball, at which the ill Zara performed, only made me even more confident that nothing was impossible for the girl: she sang very well, without focusing on her illness, she simply gave her best in this situation.

And a few more of her live performances, I can’t help but add them here!

This year, Zara released a joint collection with H&M.

Zara is a feminist, she shows this in every possible way and speaks honestly about everything she thinks, as well as about many controversial issues and situations. She often shares her thoughts on Twitter and posts photos from real life on Instagram.
Message to Zara: I like your music, but I need to remove the cheesy words from it. Make more attractive music.

Zara: I'm so damn tired of the ubiquitous men meddling where they're not asked and always telling women what and how to do. Don't take it personally if you were joking.

Zara: Feminism and hatred of men are two different things. I support both.

Zara: Sorry, but I don’t understand the hype around grillz. Why do you want to look like your teeth are yellow and shiny too? I think this is very strange.

And her legendary post from Instagram:
Zara: To all the guys who say their dick is too big for a condom. It would be better to remain silent!

Well, one last photo :))

That's all for now, but I'm not saying goodbye and I hope to make a couple more posts about emerging artists! :)
