Vladislav Kurasov: “Now I am in a relationship with a girl who is older than me”

Forgive me for the indiscreet question, is it possible for a situation in which you would date two girls at the same time?

You know, if you had asked about this, for example, a year ago, I probably would have said yes. Now, with a profound change in my aesthetic perception of the world around me, I will say that no, I could not.

Tell me, what character traits should dominate in your chosen one?

Of course, there is no specific template - every girl is beautiful in her own way, but some character traits that appeal to me and without which I think communication would not be so harmonious, of course, must be present. A sense of humor, for example, is a must. But the sense of humor is identical to mine. We must understand each other's humor, otherwise insults and misunderstandings cannot be avoided. There are times, from my point of view, when innocent jokes can accidentally offend people, when I begin to openly humor without adapting to the company. Another trait is deep devotion to each other. This is exactly what this world is missing, not only in the relationship between a guy and a girl, but also in relationships between people in general.

Yes, you're right, it's essentially a character trait that has become rare in our daily lives. Just some kind of Phoenix bird.

Yes, that's right. On the way to you, by the way, I was thinking about this. Why doesn't everything always work out for me in my personal life? Why, in my opinion, in relationships with some people, some treacherous actions occur on their part. Although I try to turn to them with all my soul, I am completely open to them, I get used to the person in every possible way, I try to understand him. Probably, you just shouldn’t demand something supernatural from people, you shouldn’t demand the same thing that you give them. You just have to love! Harmony in life and love are inseparable concepts

Have you ever communicated with your former flames?

I just don’t have many exes yet! (Smiles). So far, I have not had the opportunity to communicate with those with whom I broke up.

Why, in general, completely cut off ties?

Everything just happens naturally. For example, there is a girl with whom we had a very close relationship. But at some point we became good friends. To this day, we can sometimes have great pleasure in a friendly conversation. But this is isolated. In other cases, I did not have a calm parting, so to speak kindly, as happens with well-mannered adults. This was always accompanied by some negative manifestations. I just cut off a person from myself and that’s it. But over time, I think I might be able to do things differently.

There is a belief that very often girls choose a life partner in the image of their father, and boys - in the image of their mother. What do you think about this?

I think not. I don’t know, of course, with whom I will connect my life, maybe in 5 years I will think differently, but at the moment my mother is a mother, and girls are girls and there is nothing in common between them.

Does your mother influence your girlfriend's choices?

No, my mother cannot influence anything. We have a lot of disagreements on various issues - I have always been too independent, just such an individual. I have never allowed anyone from my family to decide anything for me or to influence me. I want - I will! This is probably my mother's oversight. Although... Life will definitely put everything in its place.

If it suddenly happens that mom puts the question bluntly, either she or the girl. What will you do?

Of course, I will try to smooth out this situation. Firstly, I don’t know what my reaction will be, since nothing like this has ever happened to me. Secondly, I think that my mother is not the kind of woman who will pose the question point blank. For all her dreaminess, tenderness and apparent simplicity, my mother is a very wise woman and would never allow herself anything like that. She would accept my chosen one. For her, as probably for every mother, the main thing is that the children have a good time. The main thing is that I am healthy, don’t smoke (smiles) and that everything goes well for me.

What would you do if you saw that your significant other’s parents or friends didn’t like you at all?

It's difficult to analyze. You are now asking questions that are largely related to what has happened and is happening in my life.

I don’t really fit into the company of my significant other, feeling quite uncomfortable in it. Of course, my other half is taking some steps, trying to make sure that I don’t feel inconvenienced. But, unfortunately, I still feel that this is not a team where I can allow myself to relax and therefore I feel out of place all the time.

How quickly do you introduce your girlfriend to your relatives?

Since my family lives in another country, far from Kyiv, it is impossible to quickly introduce each other, even if desired, due to the geographical distance. My mother often asks me who I am with. It happens that he reads from an interview somewhere and starts asking questions. Of course, I don’t tell much, I don’t like these questions. But I definitely introduce them to my friends. Of course, with those who have been tested by time, with those who have remained faithful to friendship in a variety of situations. And if a girl can freely join this company of my friends and girlfriends, with all their troubles, this for me naturally is a high indicator of the sociability of my chosen one.

You mentioned that you have a friend - a girl...

I have my best friend, many people know her. We lived together and “ate” so much, went through many trials. I immediately developed a very friendly and warm relationship with her. It is possible that if everything had turned out a little differently, under different circumstances, maybe then we would have become a couple. We are very suitable for each other.

Judging by the fact that your best friend is a girl, do you believe that there is still a sincere friendship between a man and a woman?

Of course, I can’t read minds, get into the souls of all my friends (perhaps some of them are secretly in love with me), I feed some feelings, they feed others. But based on how I see it and feel it from my own experience, I can safely say that such friendship exists. Returning to my friend, I can no longer call her just a friend, I love her as a Person. This is a different love, not like the one where I can imagine her as the mother of my children. I understand that I really don’t want to lose this person. I understand that this is the person to whom I can come to cry, find understanding in everything, and feel the warmth of the relationship. This is essentially a very deep relationship between a man and a woman, a relationship symbolizing complete harmony of the soul in the absence of harmony of the body. This, it seems to me, is real, sincere friendship between a man and a woman.

Can you hide your feelings?

Haven't had to yet.

What should a man be guided by when creating a relationship with a girl?

There are templates: flowers, gifts, bears, balloons, compliments.

I can't tell you for everyone. After all, everyone is very different. For example, I am not a romantic. I can give a gift, I can drink a glass of champagne, look at the stars, talk about something. I recently learned to say the word “love”. Apparently I had some kind of childhood complex, I was tense. I didn’t allow myself to show tenderness, I restrained myself. Not long ago I started saying these words to my mother.

Some people believe that actions are better than words.

Yes. I think so too. But still, the ideal option is when the word is confirmed by action.

“You cannot step into the same river twice,” the philosopher Heraclitus from Ephesus once said. Could you start a relationship with a person again, maybe after some time?

This is probably the most pressing question in my life. Because I had my very first serious relationship - we began to live together for real. Unfortunately, this relationship was fleeting and ended very quickly. For some time I was in a lot of pain, and as a result of my experiences, the song “Let me drink” was born. Then I got over it, everything was forgotten. But now, when I have something to compare with, I begin to remember and yearn not for her, but for what, perhaps, I accidentally missed. Now I’m thinking about what would be interesting... I understand that I’m mentally prepared - if suddenly she came now and took this first step... I won’t take it (smiles).

Why don't you do it?

Somehow it comes out on its own. Maybe nothing would come of it again, but I would try.

When was the first time you felt the pain they talk about, the pain of parting, when it’s not just offensive, sad, but when everything is tearing up inside you. I believed that I was such a careerist that music would always occupy the most dominant place and nothing could outweigh this in me. Well, everything else is just an application in my life. I have one goal and I’m moving towards it, so I won’t waste my time. I thought so, I was stupid and small. When this happened to me, it was a blow, as if they threw me like a kitten and said yes, everything is fine, everyone feels it, it happens to everyone. I remember how I didn’t know what to do, I really felt bad. Neither alcohol, nor partying, nor friends, nor work, which was more than enough at that moment, helped. Although work always helps me, to take my mind off any problems. I Googled: “How to get rid of pain?”, “How to forget a person faster?” (Smiles.) Of course, it was strange for me. I started reading some articles on this topic, but, naturally, nothing useful was written anywhere. I came to the conclusion that wedges are knocked out with wedges.

Mostly men do this.

That's exactly what I did. It helped me. Frankly speaking, I suffered for a month, although I didn’t show it. I didn’t even tell my friend, with whom I share everything. I was wondering if she would understand? And she didn’t understand either. I didn't show my feelings in any way. He translated everything into some kind of jokes, and then went on a two-week “break” in every sense of the word. I had two weeks of complete revelry, which I certainly won’t forget. During these 2-3 weeks, I met a girl in whom I saw something new and unique. Maybe this didn’t completely drown out the pain, time will tell.

Is it important for you that your partner plays sports?

The shell is important to me. You want to see next to you a beautiful girl who attracts you. I periodically communicate with adult couples and understand that those women who have been married for 5-10 years always take care of themselves, keep themselves in good shape and this is cool. You know how it happens: married couples get together and that’s it. One takes a glass of beer - his belly grows, the other takes a bun. They have each other and that's a given. Then they break up, either scandals or something else. I would like to see just such a girl next to me who would not take me for granted. I can allow the rolls to relax, but then I will be cut off at some point and that’s it.

Imagine the situation: you’re dating, she’s confident in you, you’re not going anywhere, although it’s hard to imagine with your fans, but still. She began to gain pounds. Would you reprimand her?

Of course I would. I can be direct. My friend and I lived together and as much as we communicate, we often talk about what is good for each other, because we see each other’s everyday life and Julia says to me: “Listen, I live with you, I understand what mistakes I won’t make.” allow with my husband and how I would like to build my relationship further.” This is some example. I understand that I can be rude, again the example of a friend, I can tell her: “You are fat!” or “Stop eating!” I am such a person. I am straight and there are the same people next to me.

How do you feel about cheating in a relationship?

Very bad. I hate deception. I can't stomach lies.

If a person lied to you once, will you forgive?

Yes, I'll forgive you. First of all, I don't hold grudges for long. I can be offended, and then after a while it goes away. I have already forgiven betrayal. Once. Why I did this, maybe I need to look at the situation specifically, but in fact I forgave it. Essentially, I forgave the lie, but it still leaves a mark on the soul. It’s always different with specific people. You can forgive someone something, but not someone. So I understand that I can’t do it with the one I’m with now. I don’t know, maybe I love you less, or maybe, on the contrary, more. I can forgive, but everything will be cut off from me.

Would you do anything to harm her?

Yes. Unfortunately, yes.

Are you vindictive?

In this regard, yes. I wouldn't just go to a meeting. I would live the way I wanted. I was walking and having fun. If you want to be with me, prove to me that you won’t do this again, and I will walk in every sense.

What if she suddenly comes and repents of what she has done?

I love justice so much, you have no idea! Equilibrium. If she did it, I will do it. And we will be even with her. I can forgive this, but the situation itself will provoke me. Maybe it's masculine, maybe it's human.

Should a couple go on vacation together or separately?

Well, I don’t know how a couple with 10 years behind them can stand apart. If you completely trust a person, you let him go, not because he will wander left or right, but just to relax, unwind, and sometimes you just want to flirt with someone. I think this is normal. When a relationship is just beginning, it is advisable to go together.

By the way, you were recently on vacation. Who did you go on holiday with?

My other half was not with me. She just couldn't, she had work. I was with my godfather, my friend was alone, I didn’t know the rest of the people. I went on vacation for myself.

Did they recognize you there?

There was one moment. We specifically chose a hotel where there are fewer Russians and Ukrainians, well, firstly, so as not to hear “Tagil”, which is shouting nearby. There were only Poles in the hotel, but there was a Ukrainian couple. Nobody recognized me before until the moment came when we were sitting on the bar. Naturally, everyone was drinking and the karaoke competition began. Everyone already found out in the conversation that I sing, so they suggested, like, go ahead. He came out and sang. About 15 minutes pass, I’m already sitting there like this, a man comes up to me and starts saying: “You took pictures with my wife when you performed there, do you remember?” (Smiles.) Of course, I don’t remember. There was such a moment.

You're jealous?

Yes. I talked about flirting, I understand that it is necessary, but only if it happens not in front of my eyes, because I am very jealous!

How do you feel about sex on the first date?

Fine. But when sex happens on the first date, the relationship develops a little faster and you lose interest, because when it doesn’t happen, you communicate, get used to it, go on dates, it’s all so interesting. Then you remember these moments, text messages.

Have you been in a relationship with someone older than you?

Yes. Now I am in a relationship with a girl who is older than me. Much older. I like older girls. No offense to my fans (Smiles.) Relationships with girls my age don’t go any further.

Blondes, brunettes or redheads?

Not so important, but blondes!

Is creativity an alternative to love?

I often think about this when I have life torment or situations. Sometimes I think, now I would like to have a whole career, let me develop to the fullest and that’s it, I won’t pay attention to it, let it come to me on its own. I understand that career and creativity are important to me, but I remember Marilyn Monroe’s phrase that “A career is wonderful, but on a cold night it will not warm you.” It's true. People are created for love and this is the strongest feeling on Earth, no matter what anyone says. There are geniuses who live in music, in mathematics, it doesn’t matter when love covers you - it covers everything. This is the most powerful feeling. When you don’t understand well that emotions result in creativity, when creativity doesn’t suit you well, although I recently started writing a song, I most likely won’t finish it. Inspiration came the moment I came home, I had such a good day both personally and at work, I called home. Everything somehow calmed down for a minute and I felt so good, I sat down at the instrument and began to write a song from my state, from the fact that I felt good. This was the first time, I usually write when I feel bad. Creativity is a strong emotion.

How do you feel about advice? Are you listening?

I listen to the advice of those closest to me, whom I trust. There are literally one or two people whose advice I can listen to, who advise not only from their own bell tower, but knowing me. But I always make decisions myself. When this is done by a person who is trying to teach me something, even an adult, who advises me how to live, how to work, what I’m doing wrong, I think I understand that you are smart, that you have experience, but this is your life, you lived it this way and you see it this way. I understand that I don’t have much experience, but I live my life, if I make mistakes, then they are my mistakes. I'm not a stupid guy, but I want to live the way I want. There is no need to teach me what to do, this is my life and a person advises me only from his point of view, he cannot penetrate my head or my soul.

Press service "I am a Star"

Today Valery is a well-known and beloved Russian chansonnier. Fans are often interested in where they began and how the artist’s creative and life path developed...

The biography of Valery Kuras is very interesting and full of all sorts of events, most of which are the path to success.

Valery Kuras was born on May 19, 1958 in Moscow maternity hospital No. 6. The boy’s parents were busy people (father was a geologist, mother was a translator), therefore, like most people of that time, the grandmother, the yard and the school were involved in raising the child.

The boy grew up active and inquisitive. Like all children, he played football, hockey, swimming and athletics, but most of all he loved to create with his hands - during classes at the club of young technicians he enthusiastically modeled ships (at the first All-Union ship modeling exhibition, his nuclear-powered ship "Lenin" took pride of place) . When I was a little older, I became interested in artistic wood inlay (I made kitchen furniture myself from different types of wood, which is still my mother’s special pride).

At the insistence of his parents, Valera attended piano courses at a nearby club and sang in the choir, but considered that this activity was not for real “guys”, and therefore could not stand it and quit. But I signed up for a classical string guitar course on my own. This activity was already to my liking - with a group of children at school they played the Beatles, the Soviet repertoire.

Young Valera accomplished a lot and, at the same time, in 1976 he successfully graduated from a special school with in-depth study of the English language, most of whose teachers were university educated and had progressive reformist views. Success was, as it were, “programmed” in his early years and signed up for his future destiny.

This is probably why the first failure (failure to get into the much-coveted “First MED” - medical institute) did not knock Valery “out of the saddle”, but led to the adoption of an unconventional decision at that time - to first graduate from a medical school (which is 2 years of study) and obtain the qualification of a “nurse” " He graduated from the Kuras School with honors and without any problems entered the Medical Institute (RGMI) named after N.I. Pirogov. I studied successfully and from the very first year I worked as a paramedic in an ambulance (mostly at night). Despite the crazy workload, my student years were stormy, just like everyone else’s! Study, work, love, entertainment, everything at once!

In childhood, youth and adulthood, Valery Kuras was and remains the “soul” of any company. Erudite, handy, charming, in general, a very charismatic young man, with a wonderful sense of humor, well-spoken English-Russian language, and possessed an amazing magnetism, which always endeared him to the people around him. All these qualities subsequently helped him reach the heights that he encountered on his life’s path. So, after successfully completing his residency (1985) in ophthalmology and only one year of work, he was invited to work as the head of the operating unit at the Moscow Institute of Eye Microsurgery (S.N. Fedorov Center).

Over the five years of work at the Center, the result has been achieved - a leading surgeon who performs the most complex operations and restores sight to thousands of people! Colleagues appreciated, patients were grateful, management encouraged. But this was not enough for Valery Demizovich’s restless nature. At the same time, he began to engage in the pharmaceutical business and, of course, achieved success in this field.

New for the Soviet people, but extremely exciting, risky and, of course, profitable, “business” over time absorbed almost all the time of the emerging businessman. He had to make a choice, and he made it in favor of business. And this is a bold and decisive step - the 90s, perestroika, the ups and downs of many beginners. I had to be on edge all the time, explore new horizons, learn from others, including from their mistakes, and at the same time make mistakes myself and correct myself. All this is difficult, but “very interesting”! It was this little “BUT” that provoked such an energetic person as Valery Kuras to part with his favorite profession. Well, victory has been won here too! He became a successful and prosperous businessman, the head of a foreign representative office. His life is still busy - work, family, numerous hobbies, friendly get-togethers. And as they say: “What else does a person need in order to meet maturity with dignity?” It turns out that you still need it! Valery is an active man, he couldn’t stop there and didn’t want to! So fate gave us a “chance” again!

Music! What the boy could not develop in childhood (choral singing) has now found its embodiment - Valery Kuras became a professional singer, a famous and beloved chansonnier by many.

VALERY KURAS. Brief press release

In the past, a recognized ophthalmologist and successful businessman, a collector of vintage cars and a lover of extreme scuba diving, Valery Kuras is known to a wide range of viewers for his playful video filmed for the song “Droplets”. On the TV screen - a sincere gathering of old friends over a cup of tea with a good song with a guitar. In company with Kuras are the main “fat man” of the country Alexander Semchev, “Kamenskaya’s husband” Andrei Ilyin, the beautiful Olga Budina and Vladimir “Petrovich” Presnyakov, but not with the usual saxophone, but with an accordion in his hands. The presence of Presnyakov Sr., the most authoritative figure in the music world, in the video is far from accidental. It was the legendary “Petrovich” who became the ideologist and inspiration for the aspiring singer, taking him under his father’s tutelage. Vladimir Petrovich introduced Kuras to the famous songwriter Andrei Pryazhnikov, who had previously worked with the popular girl duet “Daiquiri”, known for the super hits “Caution” and “If you love, you melt.” Pryazhnikov wrote most of the songs included in Kuras' debut album, and Petrovich played saxophone parts. In addition, Presnyakov invited Kuras to perform several of his songs. It is known that Vladimir Petrovich makes such proposals extremely rarely.

The songs of Valery Kuras are a heart-to-heart conversation with adults, captivating with the clarity of their images and the absence of vulgarity. This is a “smart” chanson that has nothing in common with the thieves born in the Volga camps and capital prisons. The roots of Valery's work lie in the plane of spectacular, in-depth crooners such as Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin. And at the same time, Kuras’ music is a kind of kitchen blues, “kitchen blues”, which fits perfectly into the atmosphere of friendly gatherings in the kitchen under a veil of tobacco smoke and songs with a guitar. Thanks to the organic simplicity and internal drive of Valery Kuras, many analysts come to a paradoxical comparison of the singer with Tom Jones or Adriano Celentano. Also, sometimes Kuras returns to us the already forgotten feeling of early “Leningrad”, but, of course, without profanity and “accessible” lyrics, in that glorious period when Shnur was under the influence of the aesthetic views of Igor Vdovin and Leonid Fedorov. The uniqueness of Kuras lies in the special sincerity of his performance of accessible and very emotional music. He is understandable to everyone, his experience and intelligence inspire trust, and his directness and lack of pathos make him listen to the end. And understand.

Valery Kuras’ debut album “Droplets” will include not only compositions written by Andrei Pryazhnikov. All the songs turned out to be very diverse. Having started with the completely chanson “Kapelki”, which in just one week rose to first place in the Ukrainian national hit parade, Kuras is confidently moving towards intelligent blues. This is simple guitar music with elements of jazz, soul and blues. The album contains undoubted creative successes - “Soul”, “Tell”, “Cosa Nostra”, “The Most Favorite”. The last composition, according to Presnyakov Sr., is one of the best declarations of love in Russian music. Under the apparent simplicity of Kuras lies wisdom, behind the ease and beauty of execution are hidden hard work and hourly work of the soul. As with everything in life, Valery treats music with absolute dedication, however, being an intelligent person, he perceives the world and himself with slight irony. For him, it is important not to “become famous,” but to tell people what they expect, to give them what they lack, to fill the voids in their lives and help them find harmony.

Vladimir Presnyakov – senior.

From early childhood, showing an interest in music and creativity, Vlad entered the Krasnodar Interschool Aesthetic Center (IEC) to study pop vocals and piano, as well as the Premiere Theater Creative Association. Both graduated with honors.

In 2011, Vladislav Kurasov took part in a Ukrainian television project "X Factor 2", captivating the audience with his sincerity, sincerity, and ability, in the words of Sergei Parkhomenko, to “penetrate the soul of the song.” The young artist was remembered by many for using falsetto in his performances. Vlad considers his personal achievement on the project to be the fact that, having taken third place, he actually did not miss a single live broadcast, gaining maximum experience and practice, and in the final he sang in a duet with British star Craig David. By the way, in many ways Vladislav Kurasov can be considered a pioneer, as he became the first foreigner to take part in the Ukrainian project “X-Factor”.

After the end of the X-Factor project, Vladislav Kurasov, at the age of 16, remained to live and work in Kyiv. In the spring of 2012, the artist took part in a television vocal show "Star Ring" and won it. Meeting the wishes of numerous fans who dreamed of hearing Kurasov live, the artist (the first of all X-Factor graduates) organized 10 solo concerts in the cities of Ukraine and Russia. On June 22, Vladislav’s first original song was released "Goodbye my city". And although according to Vlad himself "this song is not just about the city, it contains much more, it contains a farewell to the past", the song unexpectedly became the anthem of all those who are forced to leave their homes. Preparations for Vladislav’s large-scale October solo tour of Ukraine were in full swing, but due to a serious injury he received during the filming of the program “Extreme with a Star,” almost a week before the first concert, the tour was canceled.

Since 2014, Vladislav Kurasov begins independent creative career development, gathering a team of like-minded people, returning to active creative and media activities. On April 7, 2014, the premiere of Vladislav’s new original song took place on VKontakte "I'm sick with you" Vlad himself prefaced its premiere this way: “This song is about the most terrible period in my life, which completely turned me upside down. I have never talked about him and never will. Let the music speak for me. For the first time, I truly revealed myself as an author.” Therefore, it is not surprising that the song received warm recognition from listeners and to this day is one of his most quoted works, and the video, on the set of which Vladislav Kurasov acted as a co-director for the first time, turned out to be the most watchable of all his videos on the ELLO music channel.

For me, it’s more likely to vomit. Perhaps I'm too emotional... Recently my wings disappeared, and this melody began to sound in me again. I wanted to put into it the new experience that I gained over these couple of years - happy and painful. I think this is my most powerful work, it can’t help but touch you - it’s sincere. I really hope that, just like me, it will help everyone who hears it to mend their spiritual wounds. “In the depths of the soul” is a kind of secret confession.”

Beloved by thousands of music lovers in the post-Soviet space, Russian chansonnier Valery Kuras, who gave the world the hit “Droplets,” could have chosen a different path and not gone on stage.

However, history does not tolerate the subjunctive mood: today Kuras has a huge army of admirers thanks to his vocal talent and soulful songs.

In the past, a recognized ophthalmologist and successful businessman, a collector of vintage cars and a lover of extreme scuba diving, Valery Kuras is known to a wide range of viewers for his playful video filmed for the song “Droplets”.

I. Intellectuals make chanson

II. Kitchen blues

III. A little bit of goodness

Valery Kuras: “I am Kuras. Kuras itself. Your own!

For me personally, Valery Kuras was a “closed book” for a long time.
I knew his humorous songs, heard about his medical background, chatted with him about nothing, but only really opened up after this interview.
The first frank interview he gave about his personal life, about the ills of our society and how these ills need to be treated correctly...
- Valery, of course, forgive me, but I will reproach you. I looked on the Internet, and there - the ball rolls about Valery Kuras! Why such emphasized modesty against the backdrop of general PR?
- I’m just not a fan of it. And that’s why I don’t use the Internet either as a marketing tool or as a communication tool. But I accept the claim. You're right. I will improve! (Smiles)
- Your website www.kuras.ru provides maximum information from a minimum. And then you know what I came up with? Find the meaning of your name, take the most important characteristics from there, so that together with you we can figure out what is true and what is a lie. Agree?
- Lets do it! This should be interesting. Moreover, I was planning to tackle this topic myself, but there was no time...
- Go. We read: “In childhood, all Valerias are very restless children...”. And you, I know, from childhood you tormented the piano, and made complex ships in the club of young technicians, and even made kitchen furniture for your mother... From which parent did you inherit such perseverance?
- When I was born, my parents were already quite adults, so I could no longer understand which of them was more diligent. And then the years passed, I grew up myself. And my perseverance over the years is something like this...
- Has it resolved itself, or what?
- It’s not like it’s resolved. There was simply no time left to assemble kitchen furniture and design ships at the young technicians’ club.
- Let’s find out about perseverance. What did your parents do? Mom, well, was a spinner, and dad sat in some design bureau?
- You hit the bull’s eye with dad! At one time he actually headed the design bureau in the Ministry of Geology. And with such a position, perseverance was very necessary. Well, my mother was a translator. German and English languages. And she also sat with her books and dictionaries...
- Do you speak English? ("Do you speak English?")
- Yes, of course! ("Well, of course!")
(We laugh)
- But the surname Kuras, I don’t understand, what kind of wilds does it go into: Bulgarian, Israeli or Gypsy? Are you supposed to be a romale?
- No, definitely not a romale, but he’s also a good guy! We, the Kuras, have made our presence felt everywhere.
Follow me on the map now. The surname comes from Ukraine. The same surname lives in Lithuania. Several Kuras have taken root today in Siberia and Israel...
It’s just a pity that no family ties were found with them. But since my dad is from Ukraine, I calmed down and closed the topic of this research for myself.
So let's assume that I am Kuras - Kuras on my own... My own! (Laughing)
When I was a schoolboy and then a student, that’s what everyone called me – Kuras. And it was all at once: last name, first name, school nickname, and pseudonym - all in one glass.
- Let's return to your name. If you believe what they write about Valeriev, you are “far from being easy to communicate with everyone.” Not party people, in general. And all, they say, because your totemic plant is nettle... That’s what I see at concerts: you arrived, performed, smiled a little backstage and into the car... What is more here - modesty or totemic nettle?
- To be honest, I didn’t know about totem nettle. The devil knows whether this is good or bad... Although, from a medical point of view, there are not a lot of vitamins in it. So let's assume that this plant is good.
About the partygoer. I can't say that I absolutely hate parties. I don't like artificial parties. Everything there is false: both words and smiles. And if we count meetings of friends who do the same thing or are simply interested in each other, then I will always support such meetings.
Only this will no longer be a party, but communication. Communication with people you are interested in, who are interested in you, with whom you can exchange experiences, human warmth... In general, with whom you feel at ease and pleasant...
As for concerts, here you, as an artist, give a lot of energy on stage and, frankly, you get tired like a dog...
Therefore, I approach this wisely: if it’s interesting, I stay, if not, I leave.
- Okay, let's move on. “Valeriev’s field of activity depends on the chosen profession. If they don’t like a job, they will change it until they find what they need...” You have the same thing: medical school, then, in Rosenbaum’s style, work at an ambulance, then ophthalmology, residency, the Institute of Eye Microsurgery, and then - bang! - the pharmaceutical business and, finally, a chanson...Have you been looking for yourself for so long?
- It’s not that I changed jobs like Casanova changed women... It’s just that at each period of time I really, really liked what I was doing - until something else appeared in my life that I started to like more .
If the new one was overwhelming, I acted honestly: I left the old one, which no longer inspired me so much.
The fact is that combining medicine and business is very difficult - provided that you give it your all. I couldn’t afford it, neither as a person nor as a doctor. I did 1,700 operations a year! And each patient had his own special case...
When I realized that medicine began to interest me less than the pharmaceutical business I got into, I made an honest conclusion for myself: I had to choose, one or the other. And I chose business.
In general, I am grateful to fate for everything. Everything is for the good!
While working as an ophthalmologist, I met Svyatoslav Fedorov (the legendary eye microsurgeon, one of the participants in the introduction of radial keratotomy, professor, academician of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences and the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences. Author's note)
He was an amazing person and a great worker who took upon himself the organization of such a big business as the MNTK “Eye Microsurgery”, where, consider, the whole country was treated...
I left there when I realized that as a doctor I had achieved everything I wanted, but as a scientist I could not develop with so many operations. Something had to be changed. And then I went into the pharmaceutical business.
- Are you, like Bryntsalov, selling medicines?
- (Laughs). Vladimir Bryntsalov owned a pharmaceutical business. I was a hired top manager.
I worked for international companies that represented quality medicines. And only then chanson happened in my life...
- By the way, about chanson. I want to know: why, with higher education and such human integrity, does chanson take you not into the realm of subtle lyricism, like, for example, our Stas Mikhailov, but into pronounced mischief? Take at least your “Airplane”, or “Men” or the same funny “Dumpling”... It turns out that this is Yuri Galtsev, only in chanson...
- Great question. I have always considered myself a lyricist - maybe even more subtle than our Stas Mikhailov... But my producer Andrei Pryazhnikov considered that songs with a humorous filling would be more in demand. And this niche in chanson was empty. And I took it. I began to sing funny songs that touched my soul. And it turned out that they are well received by the public!
The producer turned out to be right in his predictions. So, after a long search for ourselves in different musical styles, we settled on this humorous one.
Well, the comparison with Galtsev is flattering and fantastic for me.
- Andrey Pryazhnikov writes many songs for you. These are songs, the meaning of which people illustrate with a click on the right side of the throat... And, by the way, you and Pryazhnikov are practically people who don’t drink... What is this? Playing on the original Russian weakness? Or is this my philistine view of the topic?
- Well, I can’t say that Andrey and I are such non-drinkers... As the main character of “Office Romance” said: “Why am I not a drinker? Very much so..." (We laugh).
We're not alcoholics, obviously. Therefore, in no way did we mean to promote alcoholism in our songs. This is rather a reflection of our Russian life. This is such a kindly friendly cartoon.
That's why these songs are popular. Our people have a sense of humor, they catch the trick.
But I can’t understand why the ability to drink well is considered only a Russian national trait? I travel a lot around the world and I’ll tell you - over there, over the hill, oh how they love to have a good drink! Take the Europeans, the Americans...
- And where do they drink more?
- They drink well everywhere! Both in Germany and France...
- Sorry, but they drink beer and wine there. But here we respect something more strongly...
- And in Georgia, for example, they drink chacha! And in Bulgaria - “Rakia”! And this is the same moonshine...
It’s just that this topic is turning into a national tragedy for us. That's why, you ask? Yes, because in other countries the economic situation is more stable and therefore there is no need to “drown away grief.” They drink there because it's good. That's the whole difference!
- After such an exciting topic, time to talk about women...
Look what they write about Valeria: “If Valery has found his woman, who suits him in everything, he is not able to cheat on her, although the desire to cheat almost never leaves him...”
Have you, Valera, found your one and only one, whom you don’t want to cheat on?
- Well... if everything you read to me here is about me, it means that I’m still looking for HER...
- Do you want me to help you?
- How is this possible?
- I’ll tell you cherished names that suit you for life.
- Interesting... And what are they?
- Mostly exotic: Zoya, Wanda, Victoria, Galina, Louise, Nadezhda, Olesya, Roxana, Yana. Of the simple names, you have only two options - Svetlana and Tatyana...
- Curious... To tell you the truth, I haven’t had anything to do with the owners of exotic names yet. Here, apparently, there is something to seriously work on. (Laughing)
- Let’s draw an image of your woman - the one you are looking for... Perhaps, after reading this interview, she will be found?
- Andrei Mironov said it perfectly in this sense. He was asked: “What kind of women do you like? Blondes? Brunettes? Tall? Little ones? To which he replied: “You know, I would like to be broader on this issue...”.
Understand, there are no standards here and there cannot be.
You just want to meet a person who understands you, with whom you feel comfortable, with whom you will have a lot in common - both in views and interests. But the name, appearance or bust size have absolutely no meaning!
- Okay, let's go into the realm of the human psyche. This is what they write about Valeria: “Such men feel good if they actively participate in life; they must interfere in everything, advise everyone, change something, otherwise they feel useless and even unhappy.”
Valera, do you feel unhappy because you don’t advise anyone? Or, like a perfectionist, do you interfere in everything in order to improve everything?
- The fact that I am actively engaged in a business that interests me and try to bring it to perfection is the pure truth. You can call it perfectionism, for God's sake. As for advice, I try not to give it unless asked. I consider it incorrect to interfere everywhere, distributing your advice left and right.
Every person has the right to live his own life and make his own mistakes, some of which subsequently benefit him.
- But, excuse me, what about the children? Is it incorrect to give them parental advice?
- I want to say that children are not our appendages that we can twist as we want. These are individuals who have their own view of life and their right to make mistakes. And a mistake is the same experience! And you, as a parent, have to accept it - whether you like it or not. It's terribly difficult. But personally I did it.
- What do you do for a living when you’re not singing on stage? I heard you have a medical practice somewhere. You recently hosted a program on Radio Chanson about health...Have you taken up the old ways again?
- The pharmaceutical business has never died in my life, it goes on somehow...
It’s just that the more I sing, the less I do it. Time is spent on concerts and studios...
As for the program on Radio Chanson, I hosted it with pleasure. In the format in which it was, it did a lot for listeners. Well, I got an interesting experience as a radio host.
- What is more difficult: running a business or singing chanson on stage?
- It is impossible to compare. Very different things...
In business, a lot can be calculated by drawing up a business plan and conducting the right marketing. This doesn't work in creativity. You can’t know in advance which song will take off and become a hit. There are a lot of factors here that are generally unpredictable. That’s why you always put your soul and all of yourself into every song. And that’s the beauty of it! There are, of course, producers who don’t just calculate the future hit, they smell it... Accordingly, those artists who work with these producers become very successful...
- I found a most interesting song on the Internet that you dedicated to Elena Vaenga. Where did she come from? I mean the song, not Vaenga...
- It was in 2008. I come to Pryazhnikov, and he tells me: “Listen, a singer has appeared here who writes songs for herself, this is the bomb!” And plays me a couple of her songs. And I listen and understand that this bothers me, and strongly. Andrey says to me: “Let’s record a dedication to her and perform it at the next concert, okay?” And he shows me a sketch of his new song.
We sat down and recorded it that same day. And then they came to the concert and gave it to Vaenga.
(watch and listen to the song here: click)
- What is she?
- She listened, said it was cool, and thanked her. And she promised alaverdi - to write some song for me. I'm still waiting...
- Well, she had very good personal reasons for forgetting her promise to you. But time has passed, the long-awaited son has been born, and you can remind her of your agreement. I suggest using...
- (Clearing his throat) “Dear Lenochka! I congratulate you on the addition to your family - this is cooler than all the songs combined! God bless you and your baby with joy and health! I want to remind you that you promised to write a song for me. You decide for yourself what kind of song it will be and what it’s about. Whatever resonates with you, put it on notes! I am waiting. It’s me, Kuras!” (Laughing)
- Would you like to sing a duet with Vaenga? Now it’s so fashionable to do duets “at once”...
- This would definitely be a very strong duet. If she wanted, I would take the risk too!
So far, I have had the only duet in my life - with Katya Golitsyna. I'll tell you, it's difficult to sing a duet. This is, after all, a merging of two completely independent personalities, a subtle understanding of each other on stage - so that no one outweighs anyone or drags the blanket over themselves.
Lena Vaenga is an incredibly talented person, a charismatic person, a personality. It would be very flattering to sing with her. Although she probably doesn’t consciously work as a duet with anyone - she just doesn’t need it, because she is self-sufficient. If she wanted it, she could do it. She is capable of anything.
- Vaenga, as you know, is a socially active person, not indifferent to what is happening in our country. Here is my question about the same thing... Look what is happening today: there has been a social split in Russia. Moral guidelines are very worn out. Blasphemy in the temple is called a fight for democratic rights and they even award peace prizes for it...
Tell me as a doctor and a citizen: when will this troubled time end and what should each of us do for this?
- It's difficult to predict when this will end. But I do not agree that the entire society has become unspiritual. Part of society, on the contrary, against the backdrop of this bacchanalia, is more actively coming to spiritual growth: they are drawn to God, to religion, where there are spiritual postulates that help preserve... the human in a person. And others, having not found a moral stronghold for themselves, cross that very mental line of normality. And then accidents happen with drunk drivers behind the wheel, kidney;pping and what you just mentioned...
I think that in such troubled times, when moral guidelines are lost, you need to start working with yourself. Ask yourself why you live, what good things can you give to the world right now or, say, tomorrow?
No matter how you raise a child - according to the Gippenreiter system, or on Mayakovsky’s poem “What is good and what is bad?”, but if the child does not have your correct example before his eyes, there will be no results!
So, guys, you need to start with yourself: with the ability to help others, to please them with something, to please yourself. In general, spread goodness around you, no matter what!
As soon as this good beginning is restored between people, consider that the process of healing the nation has begun...
I say this as a doctor and simply as a person Valery Kuras...

Interviewed by Tatyana Feoktistova

Beloved by thousands of music lovers in the post-Soviet space, Russian chansonnier Valery Kuras, who gave the world the hit “Droplets,” could have chosen a different path and not gone on stage.

A successful ophthalmologist helped patients look at the world with wide open eyes, and in his free time he collected rare cars and went diving. He took place in a business that brought stable profits.

However, history does not tolerate the subjunctive mood: today Kuras has a huge army of admirers thanks to his vocal talent and soulful songs.

Childhood and youth

Valery Kuras is in the spotlight every day, but at the same time he is laconic and does not like publicity: he gives the minimum necessary information about himself.

On the official website, pages on Instagram and Facebook, Valery Demizovich repeats biographical facts that are known to his fans. Journalists rarely manage to get an interview from a star, so they ask what Kuras was previously silent about. For example, about nationality. The surname Kuras is not Russian. And the middle name Demizovich is confusing.

The chansonnier revealed some of the secrets to journalist Tatyana Feoktistova, who asked if there were any Ukrainians, Jews or gypsies in the Kurasov family. The chanson performer was born in Moscow in the spring of 1958. The first to hear the voice of the future star were the obstetricians of the capital's maternity hospital No. 6.

Valery was brought up in a friendly, intelligent family, where his father, a geologist by profession, headed a design bureau at the Ministry of Geology, and his mother made a living by translating from German and English.

The parents' busy lives did not allow them to control their son's every step, so the boy was looked after and raised by his grandparents, as well as the yard and school. Everything was like most children of that time.

When asked by a journalist about the origin of the surname, Valery Demizovich answered evasively, without shedding any light on the roots. He said that his father was from Ukraine. As for the amazing name of the pope, which became the patronymic of the chansonnier, the secret lies in the beliefs of the communist grandfather. It was his idea to encrypt in his son’s name the first of the decrees of Soviet power - about peace and land.

Valery Kuras, already in childhood, showed versatile talents and the ability to achieve success in everything he did. While attending classes in the ship modeling section at the school for young technicians, I learned how to design ship models. So much so that at the first ship modeling exhibition in the Soviet Union, the nuclear-powered ship, to which a Muscovite gave the name of the leader of the proletariat, received first place.

In middle school, the guy was fascinated by wood inlay, and soon he gave his mother pieces of kitchen furniture that remained his pride for decades.

To please his mother, who loved music and singing, her son learned to play the piano and joined the choir. When he grew up and matured, he gave up choral singing, which, in Valery’s opinion, did not correspond to the image of “real guys.” But the guy considered the guitar a “male” instrument, so he completed a course in classical string guitar and delighted the children with the performance of Beatles hits at the school disco.

Having received a diploma from the capital's special school, where students studied English in depth, Valery Kuras went to enroll in a medical school. The first attempt was a failure, but the guy did not give up and became a student at a medical school. After graduating with honors, he entered the capital's Medical Institute. N. Pirogova. Valery managed to study and work part-time at night in an ambulance.

After graduating from medical school and residency, in the mid-1980s, the young ophthalmologist ended up at the Svyatoslav Fedorov Institute of Eye Microsurgery, famous throughout the country. After 5 years, Kuras became a leading surgeon. According to Valery Kuras, he performed 1,700 operations a year. And when he reached the “ceiling” in his profession, he switched to the pharmaceutical business and left the institute.

In the difficult 1990s, Valery Kuras managed to achieve success in entrepreneurship: he headed a foreign representative office in Moscow. But when Kuras reached the “ceiling” in this field, his soul asked for something new.

Creation

The first recorded song by Valery Kuras was the composition Cosa nostra. The singer gave it to his close people, who became the first grateful listeners and fans. According to the chansonnier, the first impression of hearing your voice on a magnetic tape is surprise.

The first large audience to which Valery Kuras spoke was the audience of the theater “At the Nikitsky Gate”. The warm reception of 250 listeners inspired the artist and pushed him to move in the chosen direction.

A wide audience learned about Kuras after the release of the first video for the song “Droplets”. It starred actors whose names are known throughout the country: Alexander Semchev and Andrei Ilyin, the charming Olga Budina and the master of Russian pop Vladimir Presnyakov Sr. appeared. It was he, the most authoritative “Petrovich” in the world of music and show business, who brought Valery Kuras onto the stage.

Song by Valery Kuras “Droplets”

Presnyakov Sr. introduced the aspiring musician to producer and songwriter Andrei Pryazhnikov, who, assessing the artist’s vocal abilities, wrote him two-thirds of the compositions of the first album, released in 2005.

The songs and manner of performance of Valery Kuras are called “smart” chanson. There is no vulgarity or the notorious “thieves” in them, this is a sincere conversation and everyday humor.

Fans of the chansonnier compare their favorite to Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin, whose songs immerse listeners in the atmosphere of “kitchen blues.” Listening to Kuras, I remember gatherings around the fire or in the kitchen, where old friends gathered for an intimate conversation in clouds of tobacco smoke. Good humor and sincerity run like a red thread through every composition by Kuras; there is no pathos in them.

In 2009, the performer gave the world his second album, giving it the title “Most Favorite.” During this period, he fruitfully collaborated with composer-songwriter and People's Artist of Russia and Ukraine Alexander Morozov.

Song by Valery Kuras “Girl with eyes the color of the sky”

In the 2000s, the vocalist’s best songs were heard on Radio Chanson. Kuras is repeatedly awarded the main prize “Chanson of the Year”, he is a frequent guest of the festival “Ehh, Razgulay!”. He calls the genre in which Valery Kuras performs European chanson, paying tribute to the work of Yves Montand and Charles Aznavour.

In the spring of 2013, the singer went on tour in a duet with colleague Katerina Golitsyna. In memory of the deceased Mikhail Krug, Kuras included the composition “Bathhouse on Sovetskaya” in his repertoire.

The singer has been participating in chanson festivals since the early 2000s and is well known to music fans along with Russian chanson stars Irina Krug, Fedya Karmanov, Anatoly Polotno and Willy Tokarev.

In 2016, Kuras’s collection of songs The Very Best was released, which included 34 compositions - both new and remixes of old, fan-favorite mischievous hits “Airplane”, “Pampushechka”, “At the Man’s” and “Girl with Eyes the Color of the Sky”.

Personal life

Valery Kuras is reluctant to open the pages of his personal life. When asked about the ideal woman, she says that she values femininity and spiritual beauty. Love for a chansonnier is the best source of inspiration.

Such a source in the singer’s work was his beloved wife, who bore him a son. While protecting his family, Valery does not disclose details of his private life and gives a minimum of information about his relatives. It is known that the son received an economics education at a British university.

Valery Kuras now

The chansonnier calls the government “Chaika”, which drove Soviet Minister Andrei Gromyko, the pearl of the collection of rare cars in his fleet. Volga-21 and Pobeda take pride of place.

Valery Kuras now

The master of chanson continues to delight fans with new compositions. In 2017, the artist presented music lovers with the song “Heel”, and in 2018 he pleased them with a new hit called “Sombrero”.

In the past, a recognized ophthalmologist and successful businessman, a collector of vintage cars and a lover of extreme scuba diving, Valery Kuras is known to a wide range of viewers for his playful video filmed for the song “Droplets”.

I. Intellectuals make chanson

II. Kitchen blues

III. A little bit of goodness

Valery Kuras is a Russian chansonnier who is the author of the hit “Droplets”. This person could have chosen a different path and never appeared on stage. He is a successful ophthalmologist who helped patients, and in his free time he went diving and collected vintage cars. He became successful in business and made a stable profit.

Biography

Valery Kuras does not like publicity; he is taciturn and gives only a minimum of information about himself. This person rarely gives interviews to journalists, and one of the most asked questions concerns the nationality of the performer. Kuras is not a Russian surname. The middle name Demizovich is even more confusing. It is known that the singer was born in 1958 in Moscow.

This happened in maternity hospital No. 6. Valery was brought up in a close-knit family, his father was a geologist by profession. At the Ministry of Geology he was the head of the design bureau. Mom realized herself as a translator from English and German. The parents' busy lives did not give them the opportunity to devote much time to their son, so his grandparents were involved in his upbringing.

In addition, he learned about the life of a chansonnier in the yard and at school. The artist said that his father was born in Ukraine. The secret of dad's unusual name is in the beliefs of his grandfather, who was a communist. He decided to encrypt the first decree of the Soviet power - on peace and land - in the name he named his son.

As a child, the future performer attended a school for young technicians, where he chose the ship modeling section and learned to create ship models. At the country's first ship modeling exhibition, his nuclear-powered ship was awarded first place. In middle school, the young man was fascinated by wood inlay, and then he gave his mother pieces of kitchen furniture.

Discography

The songs of Valery Kuras were included in several albums, the first of which was published in 2005 and was called “Droplets”. He also owns the following works: “The Most Favorite”, Grand collection, “There is Still Gunpowder”, The Very Best.

Biography|History - Vladislav Kurasov

CHILDHOOD

Vlad Kurasov was born on March 13, 1995 in the city of Brest (Belarus). Since childhood, he showed an interest in music and at the age of 6 he was enrolled in the Kuban Staronizhesteblievskaya Stanitsa art school.

In 2006, the Kurasov family moved to the city of Krasnodar (Russia). Vladislav entered the Interschool Aesthetic Center (IEC) to study pop vocals and piano, as well as the Creative Association "Premiere" (Theater). In 2011, Vlad graduated from both institutions with honors.

In 2007, on the basis of the Krasnodar recording studio "MUZ", Vlad created his own ensemble, which successfully performed throughout the city and region and took part in various competitions. Later the team disbanded.

In the same year, Vladislav became a participant in the “Minute of Fame” show on the Russian TV channel “Channel One”, where he performed Elvis Presley’s song “Blue Suede Shoes”, earning high marks from the jury. In 2008, Vlad took part in the International Festival of Humor and Pop Art "Moscow-Yalta-Transit". Vladislav is a laureate of many all-Russian and international competitions, including “Blue-Eyed Anapa”, “Starry Youth of the Planet”, “Little Stars”, “Eaglet Lights the Star” and others.

X FACTOR

Vlad learned about the Ukrainian show “X-Factor” via the Internet after seeing a television video with a performance by one of the participants in the first season of the project. Vladislav began to follow the developments on the “X-Factor” and, having read that a casting was being held for participants in the second season, immediately decided to go to Donetsk to try his hand. Despite the fact that Vladislav was only 15 years old, his mother calmly reacted to her son’s decision, saying: “Do you want it? Go!” On August 27, 2011, the STB TV channel aired a program about a Donetsk television casting, where Vlad performed Celine Dion’s song “My Heart Will Go On.” The audience gave Vlad a standing ovation, and the judges said four “Yes,” allowing him to participate in the next stage of the competition. Vladislav successfully passed three qualifying stages (pre-casting, telecasting and training camp) and became a contender for participation in the “Guys” category under the guidance of mentor Igor Kondratyuk. During the fourth, decisive stage, Vladislav presented Mariah Carey's song "Without You" to Igor and his star guest Laima Vaikule. Both Igor and Laima were surprised by the choice of such a complex composition, but from the very first notes Vladislav dispelled all doubts of the judges that he could adequately perform this song. The path to the main stage of the television project was completed, and Vladislav Kurasov became one of the twelve participants in the show “X-Factor 2. Revolution”. On October 22, 2011, the first live broadcast of “The X Factor” was released, on which Vlad brilliantly performed Leonard Cohen’s song “Halleluja.” She became the “calling card” of the young performer. The number of fans of Vladislav Kurasov began to grow every day. Vlad took part in all ten broadcasts of “The X Factor” and became a finalist, taking 3rd place in the audience vote. At the finale of the project, he performed the song “I’m Walking Away” in a duet with British star Craig David.

STAR RING

On March 6, 2012, the Ukrainian TV channel STB launched the “Star Ring” show, in which the finalists of two seasons of “The X Factor” and the vocalists of the show “Ukraine’s Got Talent” competed. On April 3, 2012, in a three-round confrontation, Vladislav beat his opponent Vyacheslav Korsak and advanced to the next round. On the broadcast of “Star Ring” on April 10, 2012, which, by decision of the channel’s management, became the last, viewers had to determine the name of the winner of this television project. Vladislav performed his “calling card” - the composition “Hallelujah”, trying to put new feelings into it. Vlad’s performance did not leave the audience indifferent, and according to the results of the audience vote, it was he who became the winner of the “Star Ring” show and the owner of a prize of 500,000 UAH. to shoot a video and record a song.

LIFE AFTER THE SHOW

In May 2012, Vladislav Kurasov's first solo mini-tour took place, during which four concerts were held - in Lugansk (May 5), Poltava (May 19), Odessa (May 26) and Kiev (June 9).

Before each concert, fan meetings were held, at which fans learned a lot of new and interesting things about the artist’s work. He is an excellent conversationalist and storyteller with self-criticism and a good sense of humor. Vladislav carefully and patiently answers all questions from fans and finds the right and warm words for everyone. At his solo performances, Vlad revealed to listeners a new side of artistic talent - he is an excellent performer of not only lyrical, but also driving, dance compositions. Vladislav’s repertoire includes world pop hits, which the singer makes so “his own” that his performance makes you forget about the originals. He kind of gives these songs new life.

At a solo concert in Poltava, the artist presented to the audience a new song, the words and music of which he wrote himself - “Farewell, my city.” The official premiere of the song took place on June 22, 2012. On September 15, with a concert in Donetsk, Vladislav Kurasov began his second solo mini-tour across Ukraine. Donetsk was followed by solo concerts in Kharkov (September 22) and Odessa (October 6). Each of these events was bright and unforgettable. The euphoria of Donetsk, the energy of Kharkov, the revelations of Odessa remained in the hearts of the audience... According to tradition, the last and final concert in the second mini-tour was a concert in Kyiv. It took place on October 20 at the prestigious metropolitan club "Byblos". This time, Vladislav presented to the audience his second original song, “Zero Love Squared.” The public received her very warmly and looked forward to the premiere of the studio recording on the Internet on October 24. This incendiary composition was immediately remembered and loved. Vladislav Kurasov's first original works are very different, and this speaks of the versatility of the artist himself, talented, “lyrical and expressive.” After completing the mini-tour in Ukraine, Vladislav gave two concerts in Russia: in St. Petersburg (November 17) and in Moscow (December 1). Russian viewers received Vlad with great interest and warmth.

And right before the Moscow concert, the pleasant news came about Vladislav’s victory with the song “Farewell, my city” at a competition organized by the “I am Talent” project. This well-deserved victory gave Vlad the right to perform his original song on December 2, 2012 in front of an audience of 11 thousand at the Golden Gramophone Award ceremony on the stage of the Ice Palace in St. Petersburg.

COOPERATION WITH PC STB

Since December 2012, Vladislav Kurasov has been working in collaboration with the production center of the Ukrainian TV channel STB and already on December 22 of the same year he appears as an invited guest on the stage of the largest vocal show in Ukraine “X-Factor”, where in the 9th broadcast of the next season he presents the lyrical composition “Whisper rain."

The year that followed, 2013, turned out to be extremely fruitful for Vladislav in terms of events in his creative life. For the debut single “You’ll Forget”, released in February, the artist’s first video was shot already in March, directed and scripted by Maxim Litvinov (“X-Factor”, “Ukraine’s Got Talent”, “Everybody Dance!”), multiple winner of the highest award in the field of television in Ukraine “Teletriumph”. Numerous rotations on radio and television, interviews in television programs, online and press conferences, photo shoots, performances at the New Maslyana festival, X-Factor pre-castings in the cities of Ukraine, and, finally, a solo concert of the performer in Lugansk, held on 25 May 2013 and became a bright and delightful point of the spring excitement around Vladislav.

Contrary to expectations, the artist’s touring life did not decline in the summer. Vlad’s incendiary performance in Zaporozhye, at the city festival dedicated to Youth Day, which was attended by about 20 thousand people, made many people notice and talk about the young performer, and Vlad’s performances at the telecastings of the new season of the X-Factor show supported and gave strength to more than a dozen desperate applicants to participate in it. Without putting things and new premieres on hold, on September 12, 2012, Vladislav will present a new original song, “Let me drink.” Almost immediately, filming of the second video for this composition begins (directed by Igor Savenko) and on October 8 the video appears on the ELLO channel on YouTube.

The production center of the STB TV channel announces Vladislav’s large-scale October solo tour of the million-plus cities of Ukraine: Donetsk, Dnepropetrovsk, Odessa, Kyiv. The tour was scheduled for Vlad's ballet performance, accompanied by a laser show broadcast on graphic screens and a new program consisting of already recognizable hits performed on the X Factor and new original songs by Vladislav, written in anticipation of the tour. But, unfortunately, the fans' dreams were not destined to come true. Due to a serious injury (ankle fracture) received by Vlad almost a week before the first concert, the tour was cancelled.

2014 - NEW SONGS, NEW VICTORIES

After a forced lull due to the need to restore his health, Vladislav returned to active creative and media activities. Already in January 2014, the video for the original song “Let me drink” became the winner of the competition program of one of the US music companies, Coast 2 Coast Mixtapes. Kurasov's video work was selected by the company as one of the 11 best clips for live screening, after which the competent jury identified the top three, commenting on each work and their decision. The video “Let me drink” was unanimously declared the winner.

Participating in competitions, TV shows, launching rotations of his songs on more and more new media resources, Vlad did not forget about his fans and their expectations and hopes. On March 22, having organized another long-awaited Kyiv fan meeting for them, he promised surprises in the near future and, of course, he did not deceive.

On April 7, 2014, on the social network VKontakte, the premiere of Kurasov’s new original song, “I’m sick of you,” took place, a song that fans had been waiting for for a long time, ever since the iPhone version of its excerpt was posted by Vlad on the Internet almost a year ago. The artist himself described it as his most personal and most honest composition. And, naturally, it was received by the audience with incredible delight.

On May 6, 2014, fans were knocked off their feet by another stunning news - Vladislav with his song “Let me drink” became the winner of the international art song competition held annually in the USA - International Songwriting Competition-2013 and earned the title of the 2013 International Songwriting Competition People's Choice Winner (winner of the International Art Song Contest according to listeners). This is not the first time Vladislav has participated in such American competitions - his original songs “Farewell, My City” and “Zero Love Squared” participated in the international art song competition in the United States, the Great American Song Contest. The composition “Zero Love Squared” made it to the semi-finals of the American international competition International Songwriting competitions-2012 in two categories “Dance Music” and “Under 18 Years”, and Halelujah (Leonard Cohen cover) performed by Vlad reached the semi-finals of the international music competition Unsigned Only -2013 in the category under 18 years old. In both cases, the compositions passed through a tough selection sieve: more than 20,000 applications from more than 100 countries were submitted in all categories. Victories in competitions for Vladislav follow one after another, but the best reward for fans and a kind of exam or review of achievements are the solo concerts of the young performer with their unique atmosphere and lively unique voice.

And so, on May 17, after a year-long break, Vlad’s long-awaited solo concert took place in the form of a creative evening, held at the Kiev nightclub “B-52”. This evening, like butterflies to a bright fire, fans flocked to the talent and voice of their favorite artist not only from all cities of Ukraine, but also from several countries: Russia, Latvia and even the USA.

The concert, which included 19 compositions, including, in addition to well-known covers of European and American artists, 7 songs by Vladislav, was not without pleasant surprises: the premiere of the new song “18”, the author of the words and music for which is Alexey Malakhov, blew up not only the fan zone of the concert, but the entire hall. Bright, driving, energetic - just what you need for the dance floor and spring mood! Without delaying the introduction of the general public to this fireworks of emotions, the very next day the track “18” is presented on the Internet and spreads throughout the worldwide audience.

The flywheel of the wheel of fortune is gaining momentum and on June 5, 2014, as a result of the talent and tireless support of fans of their favorite artist, Vladislav Kurasov is awarded the “Favorites of Success” gold medal for winning the competition in the “Young Talent” category at the “FreeDom” Concert Hall in Kyiv. 11th ceremony of awarding the winners of the Trademark Competition “Favorites of Success-2013”.

The author claims that he is not worried about the fate of this song: “You know, this is the only song that was written not after certain events, but during them, while all these emotions were still beating inside me. I am an artist, I express myself through music, I say in songs what I don’t always have the courage to say in person, hoping that the recipient will hear it, and people will find responses in their souls. This is a love story that is close to everyone. For certain reasons, I didn’t want to finish and record this song, much less show it to the world, but then I realized that if music was born thanks to these feelings, I can’t hide it.”

Vladislav’s songs, including recently released premieres, are actively rotated on radio stations in Ukraine, Russia, Germany, and the USA and are exploring new spaces, territories and media resources.

On October 13, 2016, Vladislav Kurasov presents his new work - the single “Don’t laugh in the face of fate.” The song has been waiting for a studio cut for a long time and, finally, today it goes on music air as the lead single of the young musician’s debut album.

Vlad explained why he chose this particular song out of thirteen included in the album:

– I fell in love with this track as soon as I heard it! My sister Elina wrote a great thing! That's what I love about songs - they stay in your head and have a relevant message. It has a cool beat. I really trust my intuition. I like this song, it leaves an aftertaste, it seems like you want to dance, you can’t sit still, but at the same time you think: “What’s the matter?! I’m grateful to my fate for what I have today and can get Tomorrow".

The ICONA Production studio has already completed work on a video that will reveal the presented song from a completely unexpected angle, present it from a different perspective: if the audience is familiar with Kurasov’s “bare nerve,” then this time the matured artist is ironic, but still honest with the viewer.

Well, we... We are waiting for new premieres and surprises. And they will definitely be there.
After all: “My story is just beginning.” © Vladislav Kurasov.

Album "Reflection". November. 2016.

On November 23, Vlad officially presented his new album. We could print a lot of beautiful words, but we think that in this case direct speech is appropriate! Vladislav Kurasov writes: “With great excitement I present my debut album “Reflection”. The music inevitably reflects everything that you have had to endure, everything that you have encountered, be it fleeting joys or spiritual wanderings. I grew up, changed, developed, made a lot of mistakes, let bad people into his life, and let go of those he loved, betrayed and forgave, was jealous to the point of nervously grinding his teeth, gave up because of failures, cried, laughed like a little boy, admired new travels, delved into himself, thanked a lot , took steps forward and returned to the past, experienced a lot of different emotions - all this is in my album. I am grateful to everyone who had a hand in my first experience. Thanks to my sister Elina Raskhodova, for three wonderful compositions that allowed me to reveal myself. new sides. Thanks to Natalia Rostova for four poems that formed my melodies and breathed another life into them. Thanks to TATAMUSIC studio and WMS Records for being able to bring my ideas to life. Thanks to photographer Maya Maksimova for helping me express my message. Thanks to my manager Svetlana Oleynik, who walked with me throughout this entire time not only as a professional, but also as a good friend. Thanks to all the people who inspired me all this time, sometimes you were cruel, sometimes you flattered me too openly, sometimes I hated you, and sometimes I fell in love. The emotions that you left in my life for two years, they are the ones that poured into my songs, into my album. I stayed as honest as possible in my lyrics and melodies. Today I am 21 and probably there is still a lot waiting for me that I can talk about in my music and lyrics, but for now I want to show you my today’s “Reflection”, maybe you will see your own in it.

The biography of Valery Kuras is very interesting and full of all sorts of events, most of which are the path to success. Valery was born on May 19, 1958 in Moscow maternity hospital No. The biography of Valery Kuras is very interesting and full of all sorts of events, most of which are the path to success. Valery was born on May 19, 1958 in Moscow maternity hospital No. Music! What the boy could not develop in childhood (choral singing) has now found its fruition - Valery Kuras has become a professional singer, a famous and beloved chansonnier by many. From an interview with Valery Kuras: - What is your favorite book, film, cartoon? - Book – “The Master and Margarita”, film – “Pokrovsky Gate”, cartoon – “Carlson”, “Prostokvashino” and other Soviet ones. - Are there “favorites” among musicians, composers, singers, actors/actresses? - Many people like it. There are no idols. - Which musical instrument do you prefer? Which musical direction is closer? - I like different musical instruments, lately I’ve been pleased...

Igor Kokhanovsky: “The film “Vysotsky. Thank you for being alive" I think it’s terrible"

He wrote poems to many Soviet hits. He is the author of lyrics for many of our favorite hits. He is a close friend of Vysotsky. It was Vladimir Semyonovich who dedicated the songs “My friend went to Magadan”, “I recently received a letter” and others to him. Igor Kokhanovsky, in an interview with Radio Chanson, spoke about his work in the Kolyma mines, his new book and his friendship with Vladimir Vysotsky.

One of the hits of “Radio Chanson” performed by Slava “Tears washed away by sadness” has a video clip. Let me remind you that the song was written by poet Mikhail Gutseriev and composer Sergei Revtov. The filming of the video took place in the spring, in the center of Moscow. In a fantasy harem, the owner falls in love with his new concubine...

On July 3, 1936, by resolution of the Council of People's Commissars, the State Automobile Inspectorate was created in the country. The document says: “All street traffic must adhere to the following order: pedestrians give way to a hand-cart, the cart to the cab driver, the cab driver to the car...

Remember how former Vice-Governor Albin came up with a fairy tale about cormorants pecking away at the roof of the stadium? This official nonsense was replaced by another topic. Now there's a seagull on the throne! This bird has seized power and is doing all kinds of shit. Already gnawed at everything that was left after the Cormorant. We need a deterrent system! Yes, it is at the stadium. He fumes at the top of his lungs. An audio track simulating gunshots and bird calls should protect the stadium from seagulls pecking at the roof lining. But then the play takes a turn that...
