Childhood:
History is silent about how exactly Luffy spent the first years of his life and met Shanks. However, the fact remains that the red-haired pirate inspired Luffy to become a pirate and search for One Piece. And the scar under Luffy's eye reminds him that in his early childhood the boy injured himself and almost cut out his own eye in an attempt to prove to Shanks that he was already an adult. Moreover, Shanks saved little Luffy's life by sacrificing his left arm. It is not surprising that at the age of seven, Luffy found an idol who gave him that same straw hat. RORONOA ZORO

Zoro is capable of thoughtful and balanced, sometimes cruel and unpleasant decisions in bad times, and of an objective assessment of the situation. For example, in Water 7, the entire team wanted the return of Usopp, who left them, but Zoro forbade them to even think about it until he understood what he was wrong about and apologized. Because Luffy is the captain, and leaving the crew and then returning as if nothing had happened means undermining his status. And at the same time, Zoro often relies on luck. He told the team as much as they were flying on the sea train through the gates of Enies Lobby. If you need to kill or threaten someone, then Zoro is always in the forefront. Zoro has a chronic and incurable form of topographic cretinism. He can get lost even if he needs to walk a few steps in a straight line, and because of this he is often teased. The swordsman enjoys competing with Sanji. They annoy each other a little more than completely, and they constantly have comical squabbles. Before the start of the main story, Zoro traveled with two bounty hunting partners, Johnny and Yozaku. They call him "aniki" (elder brother). As a child, Zoro was friends with Kuina. She was the daughter of the owner of the dojo where Zoro grew up and studied, and he was never able to defeat her. Zoro is the team's main swordsman. He is capable of using one-, two-, and three-sword fighting styles in different situations and for different purposes. But Zoro still prefers the three-sword style - Santōryū (one sword in each hand, and the third in the mouth, and this is always Wado Ichimonji) Since no one else has been seen using Santōryū, it can be assumed that Zoro himself created it and all or at least most of the attacks. At the moment of its use, Zoro was surrounded by a dark aura, and the illusion appeared that the swordsman, like the deities of the same name, had three faces and six arms. And although this is an illusion, the power of any attack in this state increases threefold. What this technique is and how he achieved it is unknown, but Kaku suggested that Asura is created by Zoro's spirit. It is possible that Asura is one of the possibilities for using Will. But even if he has only one sword left, or none at all, Zoro remains a dangerous opponent. If Zoro fights with those whom he does not want to kill (weak enemies or mere bystanders), then he uses the reverse, unsharpened sides of his swords. Nami is one of the members of the Straw Hat Pirates. She takes the place of the navigator and was the second one to join Luffy. During the events at Baratti's Restaurant, she left the team, but returned after defeating Arlong.
Nami is a young, well-built girl with fiery red hair and brown eyes. Many people find her very attractive. She has a tattoo on her left shoulder of a pinwheel and a tangerine (a reference to Belmerra and Genzo), which was given to her in place of her mark denoting her membership in the Arlong Pirates.
Nami is one of the most erudite crew members aboard the Sunny and, as stated by Oda, the third smartest in the entire East Blue, while Ben Backman of Shanks' crew is in first place and Captain Kuro is in second. At the beginning, Nami hates all pirates, considering them disgusting people, which is associated with her childhood memories. She changed her mind after meeting Luffy and Zoro.
Nami is a very greedy person, she is capable of almost anything for money. This love of money originates in childhood, as she, her adoptive mother and sister lived extremely poorly. She gets along best with Robin, believes that she is the only one who understands her, and treats her like an older sister.
Nami is not particularly strong in combat, but is very knowledgeable in cartography, geography, meteorology, and bathymetry. After Luffy defeats Arlong and destroys the building and Nami's former room where she had to draw maps for her boss throughout her childhood, it becomes clear how much experience she has in drawing maps. She has the unique ability to notice any seemingly minor changes in the weather and make quick decisions based on them. There were times when she could predict the appearance of a storm even when even the sky was still clear. The climate on the Grand Line is extremely changeable and sometimes only the skills of navigator Nami saved the crew from a shipwreck.

Usopp
Usopp is a sniper on the Straw Hat team. He is the fourth member of the team, the third to join Luffy, and the third to return to the team at the end of the Post Enies Lobby arc.
For most of the story, Usopp is a tanned, thin teenager with black curly hair and a long nose. He usually wears a dark yellow checkered bandana, a blue and white striped armband on his left arm, and special sniper goggles (he also has a pair of clear rectangular goggles which he sometimes wears in situations where he doesn't have his sniper goggles, like when he first met with the Straw Hats or when his sniper glasses were stolen by Mr. 2), brown overalls with a white belt and no shirt underneath (although he wore a dark green shirt in the Skypiea arc). He also carries a yellow backpack with him, which he uses to store all his tools and gadgets. Usopp inherited his famous nose from his mother, while the rest of his face resembles his father. During the division of the team, after landing in the forest of gluttony, Usopp gained weight.
After the two-year time skip, Usopp lost weight and grew his hair. He also improved his muscles. Usopp now has a new pair of goggles around his neck (his sniper goggles are not shown) and has hearing protection headphones on his ears. He grew a small beard and a new, white sun hat on his head. He has a new pair of rolled up yellow pants with red suspenders and boots. His yellow satchel has been replaced with a red one, but he still wears a blue and white wrist band on his left arm.
Usopp is one of the more sentimental Straw Hat Pirates, and cries or loses his temper during moments of emotional stress. At the beginning of the series, Usopp was easily scared, anxious, insecure, and a compulsive liar. Unlike Nami (whose cowardice stems from simply wanting to stay alive), Usopp's cowardice is a result of his fear and insecurity, especially when faced with uncertainty. Although Usopp is a coward by nature, he is able to put aside his fears during more desperate times: despite being afraid, he faces these fears for the sake of his friends and sometimes people he barely knows. Most of his lying down was intended to make him feel better, as Usopp easily overwhelms his opponents, such as Aokiji. He was the first to come up with an excuse not to do something to avoid putting himself in danger. He also has delusions of being a commander, and considered himself a captain when he first joined and continues to call himself "Captain Usopp" when talking to Chopper, the enemy, or aliens.
This leads to his battle with Luffy - specifically his refusal to part with the Going Merry. This was the result of all his insecurities about his usefulness as a crew member culminating in him finally exploding under the stress, having just been severely beaten by Franky's family and then losing his ship. He was worried since he is not as physically strong compared to Luffy, Sanji and Zoro, he was only a burden to the crew. Although he is a very smart and talented sniper, he has a hard time seeing his best qualities and strengths until the Battle of Enies Lobby opens his eyes.
Throughout the Thriller Bark arc, many of the crew became victims of the effects of Perona's negative spirits, causing them to become specific pessimists. However, Usopp, even slightly exercising power, rose to his feet stating that he couldn't become negative because he was already negative/depressed, even saying it was in a boast-like way. Perona claimed that he was the only person to ever defend himself against her power, going so far as to use her power on his reasons to make her suffer depression, so she ran away from him in fear. Sanji
Sanji is the cook of the Straw Hat Pirates. Everyone loves him for this. He is the fifth crew member, the fourth to join Luffy. Sanji was born in North Blue, and he is the first on the team who is not from East Blue. We first meet him in the Baratie Floating Restaurant. Before Sanji came to the Baratie restaurant, he constantly threw leftover food off his plates. But one incident made him seriously change his mind. The force of his blows is so great that it can change the bone structure of a person's face (as, for example, in the case of Duval). Sanji is one of the strongest in the Straw Hat team. Slightly inferior in strength to Zoro, Sanji sees him as an eternal rival, although he still respects him very much and values his friendship. Sanji can't resist beauties. He pays especially much attention to the women of Luffy's crew - Nami and Nico Robin. He also cannot harm girls, as was shown in the Enies Lobby arc during his fight with Kalifa. Sanji is a heavy smoker. He is rarely seen on screen without a cigarette in his mouth. Due to the fact that the photographer did not remove the cover from the camera, the photograph on the poster with the bounty on his head was drawn by hand. After two years of training, Sanji gained a mustache and a small beard, and his bangs began to cover his right eye. There was also a curl on the eyebrow of the left one (and in the same direction as the right one). Due to the fact that the training took place on the island of Okam, he was very yearning for the fair sex. So much so that even at the sight of a pretty girl, his nose bleeds like a powerful fountain, as a result of which Chopper always has to give Sanji blood transfusions. In this regard, there is another problem: Sanji has the rarest blood type IV, so it is difficult to find it to replenish supplies. Tony Tony Chopper

Tony Tony Chopper is the doctor of the Straw Hat Pirates. He is the sixth member of the crew and the fifth to join. Chopper is the smallest and youngest member of the Straw Hat Pirates, and is also a reindeer. Thanks to the devil fruit Hito-Hito, eaten as a child, he can take other forms - a humanoid creature or a small and pot-bellied deer. In addition, Chopper understands animal language. Chopper also doesn't know how to hide; instead of hiding his body and peeking around the corner, he hides his eye. Having overcome enormous difficulties and received serious wounds, he still gets this mushroom and brings it to the doctor.
The Doctor was very touched by what Chopper did for him, even though he knew that the mushroom was deadly, he still ate it. Hiruluk idolized pirates and their flag and infected Chopper with his love for them, so when he saw a mushroom and a familiar symbol in the book - a skull and crossbones - he decided that this was just what he needed. Brooke
