The best place for a beach holiday is the southern tip of the island – the Les Salines region. The beaches here are truly endless. The hotel base is also well developed in Le Salines. Surprisingly, Martinique is the birthplace of the same Josephine who became Napoleon’s wife. Now in the house where she spent her childhood, there is a museum with interesting exhibitions and authentic household items of the French Empress. A visit to the museum is a must.

7.Grenada

Another island of volcanic origin, Grenada, covers an area of ​​only 350 square meters. km, most of which are mountains and hills. Valuable features of the island are its numerous bays and secluded beaches; here, without exaggeration, you can feel like you are at the end of the world. Grand Anse is the main tourist destination in Grenada. All the benefits of civilization are concentrated here - hotels, bars, restaurants and other entertainment. For privacy, you should go to the northern part of the island. Grenada is surrounded by coral reefs, so the water here is always calm, and divers have the opportunity to explore the unique ecosystems of the Caribbean Sea, almost untouched by people.
