The Internet is a means for disseminating information. The functions that the World Wide Web provides cannot be provided by ordinary textbooks and television. The reader on the Internet will be able to react to the text: write a review, review, evaluate the text read. Literary competitions are very popular these days. Aspiring poets and writers can declare their identity and, if they win, receive a cash reward. Competitions with prizes attract many people. Therefore, you should not wonder whether it is worth taking part in these competitions.

Beginners should not rush headlong into the pool. First you need to choose a literary competition that has a good reputation, extensive work experience, and positive reviews. Such competitive programs are on the lips of many. They have their own personal website, which has all the necessary information to participate. Usually the jury consists of famous people - journalists, editors, poets. World-famous companies provide sponsorship for competitions. In order to avoid falling into the clutches of scammers, you must remember the following rules:

  • There is no need to pay money to participate in a literary competition.
  • Before participating, you need to collect feedback about the company that provides the competition.
  • You should not be fooled by an offer to publish a book from a publishing house. This is a lie.

Participation in literary programs- This is a great experience for aspiring writers and poets. Competitions for aspiring writers are quite popular today. Many beginners make a lot of mistakes, so they won’t be able to win first place. The competition story must meet the stated conditions. The writer must carefully study the requirements of the competition.

It happens that a person saw the name of the competition and quickly wrote a story. Then I found out that he had exceeded the volume or indicated the wrong genre. It is important to follow the competition rules so as not to be eliminated. In addition, the story must be well written. A writer must proofread his text well to correct errors. If there are a large number of errors, the story will not win.

The creative competition opens up enormous opportunities for writers:

1. You can win a cash reward or prize.

2. Demonstrate your own creativity.

3. Declare your identity.

4. Receive a training grant and other benefits.

5. Become famous thanks to victory.

While participating in the competition, the writer must understand what goals he is pursuing. The more serious the goal, the more seriously the work on the story should be carried out. Also, the writer must have his own signature feature that will attract the jury representatives. We must remember that the jury is living people. They evaluate the story not only objectively, but also look at the brightness of the images and intrigue.

The author's feature can be anything - an interesting plot twist, an unusual character image, style, composition, etc. To reach the finals, you need to have a noticeable detail in your story. The author's trick can attract and surprise the jury representatives.

2017 competitions with cash prizes are the most popular at the moment. Many writers are looking for competition programs that give money for first place. Below are the current competitions taking place this year. Young writers can send scripts, articles, essays, stories, poems, translations, stories, epics, short stories.

  • Competition for young writers Rainbow. Completion January 20th. Prize size from 2000 euros.

Identify a promising writer- this is one of the main goals for the organizers of the competition program. Professional writers, as well as publishing houses, get acquainted with the works, select the best and offer cooperation to the authors. Poetry competitions are very popular in our country. Those wishing to take part must have desire, self-confidence and a good story. There is also the opportunity to participate in international competitions. It's important to note that there is more competition here.
