Igor Krutoy was born in 1954 in Gaivoron, Ukraine. As a child, he performed in a school ensemble, in which he played the button accordion. He received his musical education at a music school, and then at a music college. For a year, Igor Krutoy worked as a music teacher at school.

They even toured concerts together.

In 1987, success came to Igor Krutoy thanks to the song “Madonna”, performed by Alexander Serov. The song became a laureate of the Song of the Year itself. Many other wonderful things were written for Serov at that time - Wedding music, You love me and other hits. With the songs of Igor Krutoy, Alexander Serov won an international competition. And in 1988, Igor Krutoy himself was awarded the Lenin Komsomol Prize.

In addition to creative activities, Igor Krutoy decided to engage in producing. He became president of the APC company, which is the strongest concert and production company in Russia. It was ARS that began to regularly hold creative evenings for Igor Krutoy with the invitation of Russian pop stars. The first such evening was organized for the composer’s fortieth birthday. My appeals to various authorities led to nothing. Bureaucracy killed my faith in kindness, humanity and basic humanity. The only hope is for you. My son and I live in a rented room on his disability pension alone, there is no other income. We are in a very difficult financial situation; we rent one room in the private sector without any amenities, not even a window. You support the helpless like us. I really hope that you will help us with the housing issue. We have been on the waiting list since 2005 as a low-income family with a disabled person. But this line is so long that there is no hope that my son will see the sun through the window of his apartment during my lifetime! And when I’m gone, there’s nothing to hope for at all. We have been unable to achieve anything for many years, although we have appealed to all sorts of authorities. I am already 55 years old and sometimes it is not easy to lift a heavy child. I can’t leave my son and go to work. The boy requires constant care for health reasons. Help me overcome this difficult ordeal. Ukraine is a clan country. Ukrainian power is divided among several powerful groups, one of which is called “Donetsk”. The Donetsk clan includes many mines, industrial enterprises, and banks. And the leaders in this clan are two interesting people: businessman, president of the Shakhtar football club Rinat Akhmetov and... the country's prime minister, presidential candidate Viktor Yanukovych. All this is not the result of a journalistic investigation or a sensational revelation - information about the connection between Yanukovych and Akhmetov is not a secret, it has been published a thousand times in many newspapers. In the same way, the fact of the close friendship that exists between Rinat Akhmetov and composer Igor Krutoy is no secret.

An interesting coincidence - Krutoy’s company is called “ARS Producer Center”, and one of the main companies in the core of the empire of Akhmetov and Yanukovych is the largest Ukrainian supplier of coke - ARS CJSC. They even say that this name stands for “Alik, Rinat, Samson.” Alik is Akhat Bragin, the president of Shakhtar, who died in 1995, and Samson is Yakov Bogdanov, a Donetsk crime boss who was killed in the same 1995. However, I have no evidence that the name “ARS” stands for exactly that.

Another interesting coincidence: there is a company in Donetsk called Energosbytprom, which produces wall blocks. This company is headed by Alexander Chvikov, and his fifteen-year-old daughter Alexa became one of Krutoy’s favorites during the TV show “Star Factory 4.” They wrote a good song for Alex, quickly shot a beautiful video and put it in the strictest rotation on the Muz-TV channel. True, I was unable to find any evidence of a connection between Alexander Chvikov and Rinat Akhmetov.

By the way, about the Muz-TV channel. In 2002, the ARS production center bought 100% of the shares of this TV channel from Alfa-Bank. Those shares were worth 25 million dollars. Where ARS came up with such a sum is not very clear to me personally - the center produces about three dozen artists, none of whom are included in the “top” fee category. You won’t make a lot of money selling media, and you won’t make much money by controlling copyrights either. A structure like ARS can cost 10 million. Well, 15. But paying 25 million for a TV channel is unlikely. Most likely, some wealthy friends gave these millions to Igor Yakovlevich, but this is just my guess.

A set of assumptions and coincidences gradually emerges into an unprovable, but intuitively tangible picture. It seems quite likely that a certain amount of Donetsk money is present in the television business of Igor Yakovlevich Krutoy. And if we assume that this is so, the celebration of Igor Krutoy’s 50th anniversary, closed from the press, becomes understandable. After all, if Yanukovych wins the Ukrainian elections, Igor Yakovlevich becomes a person close to the president (even if of another state). And if Yushchenko wins the elections, then the Donetsk clan will inevitably begin to have certain problems related to the redistribution of property. And it is likely that Rinat Akhmetov and his empire will no longer have time for Igor Krutoy with his Russian music TV channel. Again, I repeat - just bare assumptions without any evidence base.

Triumph or defeat? Cool, now more than ever, needs the support of serious structures - after all, last summer Igor Yakovlevich quarreled with Konstantin Lvovich Ernst himself. And it will be very, very difficult for ARS to stand alone against the huge machine of Channel One in conjunction with the Russian Media Group (RMG). And if Krutoy is not helped by some people from the outside, preferably from abroad (because, except for the courageous Igor Yakovlevich, not a single person in Russia will oppose Channel One), then it is possible that ARS will lose Muz-TV . Moreover, rumors about the interest of some Russian media companies in this TV channel have been circulating in Moscow for several months now.

Personally, I don't like all this. If the ARS production center is destroyed or loses its influence, domestic show business will be completely monopolized. With the complete absence of competition, in a year it will become impossible to listen to “Russian Radio” (it’s still hard to listen to it now - new songs appear on the air very rarely). And even despite all the accusations made against Krutoy by his opponents - they say that they take money for rotation and participation in “Song of the Year”, he took away “Factory-4” from Channel One, he collects artists for “New Wave”, luring them with broadcasts on “First”, and the channel does not receive anything from this - despite all this, the ARS now performs a function that, besides it, is not performed by any other structure. ARS opposes the fictitious holding company “First - RMG” and creates, at least illusory, intrigue and competition. And when the ARS is taken away from me, I simply will have nothing more to write about - since nothing else will happen in the domestic show business.
