PLC - Songs on TNT: biography of rapper and SLOVO founder Sergei Trushchev. Rapper plc from the show “songs”: “I don’t know how to write for other people Plc biography

Sergey Viktorovich Trushchev is a producer, a young rapper performing under the pseudonym PLC (stands for playaCritical), a participant in the TV project “Songs” (Timati’s team). He founded the first site for the Slovo battle league in Krasnodar.

Childhood

Seryozha was born on March 9, 1987 in Krasnodar. Little is known about his childhood. It happened in the 90s, and, if you believe the lines from his song “Sega Tigers,” he was an ordinary teenager who spent time on the streets of his hometown and at home, playing a console, and also loved music.

Sergei Trushchev performs under the pseudonym PLC, which stands for playaCritical

In 2004, he graduated from high school and entered the Southern Institute of Management at the Faculty of Applied Informatics and Economics.

Sergei's musical career

His musical career begins in 2003. At that time, he was a member of the Almanac group and performed under the name Crush as an MC and beatmaker. The young man also became famous as the creator of the thematic Internet portal South Rap. In 2005, Sergei left the rap group and began building a solo career under the pseudonym playaCritical. In 2007 he created The Keys, a unique project for those regions - an instrumental hip-hop project.

He worked in the Krasnodar club El Nino, since 2006 he went on tour with Krasnodar beatmaker Seth and DJ KresBeatz, and participated in many rap battles. The most famous of them are the battle within the hip-hop.ru portal and InDaBattle. In 2008, he won the 6th battle from hip-hop.ru as part of the TRU team. Sergei’s colleagues in the creative association were Galaktik, Hyde, Kreat and Nady.

PLC - Sunrise

Four years later, Seryozha released his first solo album entitled “Air”. It was recorded with the participation of SKVO, Veronica Lee, Chest, Nady. One of the most authoritative rap portals gave a pleasant positive assessment of Trushchev’s first album.

In 2012, the guy initiated the creation of an offline platform for holding rap battles “Slovo” in his hometown. By that time, many young talents had appeared in Krasnodar, conflicting with each other. The project was conceived as a way to throw out negative energy and “pump up” skills. The young people took the largest British battle project Don’t Flop as a basis.

By 2016, Sergey achieved the opening of branches not only in Russia, but also in Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Belarus, but it all started from an abandoned industrial building in Krasnodar, in the deep underground. The battles were recorded on video and posted on YouTube, gradually starting to generate income. The video and sound quality became better and better, and the abandoned building turned into the creative space “Angart”. Now Slovo is one of the most authoritative battle platforms, whose popularity can only be rivaled by Restaurateur’s Versus.

PLC (vs 13/47) - Who is SLOVO

After completing work on the “Slovo” project, Sergei plunged into a solo career under the pseudonym PLC and under the banner of the BigMusic label. In 2017, he released his second music album, “Sunrise”. It included joint tracks with Sasha Chest, Cuban and Luna. In total, the album included 16 compositions.

PLC tries to be honest with its listeners, so on his album you won’t find songs about addiction to hard drugs, gangsterism and shootings - this was not the case in his youth. “But there is a lot more. From basketball courts to the deaths of friends. From politics to the Sega console,” says the rapper.

Personal life PLC

In 2009, Sergei met a model-looking girl, Alina Ignatenko. She is three years younger than the artist and works as a stylist and makeup artist. In 2014, the couple legalized their relationship at the city registry office.

There are rumors that the couple broke up, since on Serezha’s VKontakte page his marital status is “single,” and according to his listeners, the artist has not posted photos with his wife online since 2015. Nothing more is known about the love affairs of the rapper PLC.

Sergei is fond of reading; his favorite works of literature include “The Little Prince” by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, “The Brothers Karamazov” by Fyodor Dostoevsky, and “The Catcher in the Rye” by Jerome Selinger. In his free time he likes not only to read, but also to listen to rock and jazz.

Sergey is a fan of the work of Jay-Z and Timbaland, and the band Radiohead. He is a connoisseur of blues, jazz and soul of the first half of the 20th century: Muddy Waters, Som House, Ella Fitzgerald, Marvin Gaye. Also among his idols are Iggy Pop and Jim Morrison.

Sergey Trushchev now

In February 2018, PLC was cast in the show “Songs” on the youth channel TNT. The young rapper was immediately singled out by his mentor Timati. Sergey joined the team of the star and founder of Black Star along with Nastika, Nikita Lukashev and other talented young performers. Timur Yunusov said that a talented rapper only needs promotion, PLC already has everything else (provided voice, experience).

Almost immediately, Sergey worked with another participant in the project - Eric Shutov, also a native of Krasnodar - and recorded with him a live mini-album “Session #1”, which included the tracks “Mollywood”, “Don’t Let Me Go”, “Let It Burn” and covers of "Hoochie Coochie Man" by Muddy Waters and "Hallelujah" by Leonard Cohen. In May 2018, PLC presented listeners with a new track - “We Have More.”

PLC dropped out of “Songs” one step before the final - DanyMuse, NaZima and Terry from his team advanced to the final stage. In parting, Timati noted that thanks to his high level of professionalism, Sergei himself can sit on the jury of this show, which means it would be fair if he gives way to newcomers. PLC agreed with the mentor and emphasized that the project gave him a lot and brought him together with a huge number of talented people. And after the release of the episode on television, PLC recorded an appeal to subscribers, in which he asked them to vote for Maxim Svoboda.

PLC ft. Nastika – Phenomenal (Songs)

However, in the final concert of the show, which took place on June 2, he was seen again - the rapper sang the song “Phenomenal” in a duet with Nastika.

PLC is a famous Russian rap artist, as well as a participant in the popular television project “Songs,” which was broadcast on the TNT channel. He was born on March 9 (according to the Pisces horoscope) 1987 in Krasnodar (Russia). Real name: Sergei Trushchev.

Sergei was born and raised in a fairly simple family, which was absolutely no different. He almost always loved listening to music, but his real interest began to manifest itself in his youth, when he became acquainted with rap culture. It was this genre that eventually absorbed the young guy and became a real outlet for him. He often listened to the words of popular rappers and imagined that someday he would be able to stand on the same level as them. Thus, Sergei begins to slowly write his own songs, but for a long time he did not dare to show them, as he had some doubts.

Sometimes it seemed to him that he was doing nonsense and that he would not be able to be like his idols. But having overcome some fears, he began to think that in the end he would not lose anything if he just tried his hand at this field, because everyone started somewhere and if he did not succeed, he would try again and again to achieve the desired result.

So, Sergei began to slowly but surely strive for his dream, so that one day he could remember his timid beginnings with a smile. All this was done for the sake of peace of mind, because it was music that could give him what his inner world needed.

Sergei begins his creative journey in 2003, when he joins a musical group called “Almanac”. There, the young guy showed great activity and tried to gain as much experience as possible. At that time, he was even able to found such a popular Internet portal as “South Rap”.

He undoubtedly remembered his first concerts and knew that one day the number of his fans would become much larger. All the energy he received on stage gave him incredible strength for further achievements. So, for example, after some time he decides to leave the group forever and start his solo activity. Since then, he has performed under the pseudonym "PLC", which stands for "playaCritical". In addition, in 2007 he was able to create such a musical project as “The Keys”.

Among other things, he was actively involved in his own musical career, performed and worked in various clubs, created mixtapes and toured the country with other equally popular artists.

Further successes

In 2010, he released his debut album called “Air”, and two years later he became one of the creators of the rap battles “Solvo”, which thanks to him was able to form in many regions of Russia. In 2017, his second album was released under the romantic title “Sunrise”.

Show "Songs"

In 2018, Sergei takes part in the “Songs” project, which began broadcasting on the TNT channel. The jury members were representatives of the most popular labels in the country: Maxim Fadeev (Malfa) and Timati (Black Star). Sergei immediately passed the selection and joined Timati’s team. True, despite his great experience, talent and audience sympathy, he still could not reach the finals. True, this did not stop him from continuing to write songs, and also from gaining a real army of fans.

Relationship

In 2009, he met his future wife Alina Ignatekno, who is a makeup artist by profession. In 2014, the couple decides to legalize their relationship. True, at the moment the true situation of the newlyweds is unknown, as fans claim that Sergei has not published family photos since 2015. The singer does not comment on these rumors.

Those who at least once bothered to get acquainted with the work of the magical singer LP were irrevocably in love with her amazing charisma, emancipation and mesmerizing play on the now popular ukulele instrument. Her true fans have already stopped wondering whether LP is a woman or a man, because, in fact, the talent is there, and this is the main thing!

Biography

To begin with, it is worth noting that the pseudonym LP stands for Laura Pergolizzi (Laura Pergolizzi). Perhaps this fact should definitely answer the question of whether the lead singer of the LP group is a man or a woman. But not everything is so simple, because society is accustomed to focusing on external data, and sometimes it is so easy to make a mistake about the gender of someone, especially celebrities.

Childhood and adolescence

Laura was born in 1981 in Long Island. In 1996, the energetic girl graduated from high school and moved to New York to become a star. Being the daughter of an opera singer, she knew how to break into this business and created a bright pseudonym for herself. Woman or man, LP made her way to fame without fear of any prejudice from society, and it was her openness to this world that allowed her to build her stairway to heaven.

Career

The beginning of her creative career was marked by her participation as a soloist in such groups as Lionfish and The Plan. For some time she was a guest vocalist in the band Cracker. 2001 was the year she released her debut solo album, Heart-Shaped Scar. Her record immediately shot up the charts, and the song Kiss It All Goodbye was used in the drama The Safety of Things.

In 2004, remaining a mystery to the press, (male or female?) LP presented its second album entitled Suburban Sprawl & Alcohol (“Province and Alcohol”). Numerous rumors swirled around the recording of the presented album, because the song "Darkside" was the result of a collaboration between the LP and Linda Perry, songwriter and singer. The excited journalists kept trying to find out who was singing - a man or a woman? LP did not talk much about her personal life, but the fact that she was a lesbian did not give anyone peace of mind. Immediately there were suggestions that Laura was also “a girl.” However, the star decided to leave a certain touch of mystery in her image. Preferring not to specify who she likes or whether she is a man or a woman, LP has never made an official comment on the matter.

Development

The beginning of the 2000s and the beginning of the 1900s were devoted to participating in various shows, competitions and events, and touring different cities. 2014 was marked by the release of the singer's long-awaited third album, entitled Forever for Now. Laura pleased her fans with the album Death Valley.

LP, Lost.. ... - who sings - a man or a woman?

Despite the fact that Laura achieved popularity in America back in 2012, Europe became acquainted with her work only after the release of the song Lost on you; it was this song that resonated with many people from Russia. Everything about this wonderful man is attractive - breathtaking curls, androgynous appearance and a style full of aesthetics. Here, rather, it became a plus that it was not clear who was singing, a man or a woman.

The LP, Lost on you, won the hearts of many pop-rock music lovers with this track. Thanks to such performers, people begin to appreciate purely human qualities and talent, without paying attention to his/her gender.

As it recently became known thanks to explicit clips, Laura really is a girl, but she gravitates towards the female gender. Her relationship with her parents was somewhat strained, so she never admitted to her mother that she was a lesbian. Her mother died, and her father, who considered her inclinations to be just a teenage whim, came to terms with this fact. However, as Laura says, her parents never criticized her and perceived all her decisions positively.

Laura won an audience of millions not only with her records, but also with the acoustic versions that she presented in hotels, clubs, etc.

It is noteworthy that LP's career began with writing songs for famous artists. Thus, she has written songs for Christina Aguilera and Rihanna.

Beautiful People - This song was co-written by Nicole Scherzinger for Christina Aguilera at her country house in the mountains. Laura also wrote that she thought it was so surreal and “damn cool” while the two of them were basking in the chambers of a warm apartment and writing and writing...

Vivid image

Speaking about her style, Laura emphasizes that she does not resort to the help of experienced stylists, she simply acts on a whim, everything is natural and relaxed.

Nevertheless, she honed her style throughout her career, and to this day the singer strives to achieve the maximum reflection of her inner state through her appearance.

Black sunglasses are an indispensable attribute in the image of LP, so she, according to her, not only imitates but also tries to protect herself from this reality, since she is still afraid of the vast world, ready to overthrow her from the pedestal of fame at any moment. We can only hope that she will be able to overcome this phobia and look broadly and boldly into the eyes of passers-by and enjoy every day.

She is always ready to joke about her atypical appearance; she is not affected by the jokes and gossip about her orientation, which constantly rain down on her from people constrained by stereotypes.

As she answered in her interview, Laura is quite happy with her image at the moment. Every time she goes on stage, she feels “at ease” there. Well-being has affected all areas of her life, and one can only be glad that the singer’s personal life and career are only getting better.
