EXPLANATORY NOTE.
In essence, acrobatics is the art of controlling your body. The only material at hand is our muscles and training brain, sending precise and complex signals for execution. Acrobatics can be done almost anywhere. And of course, everywhere with great benefits for the harmonious physical development of children and adolescents, to strengthen their health. To practice acrobatics, you must have good flexibility and mobility in your joints. At the age of 10-13, most schoolchildren have satisfactory flexibility, but it still needs to be developed. Then by the age of 15-16 it will reach its maximum value. But all schoolchildren have satisfactory flexibility and some need a lot of work to improve it. Flexibility can be improved through stretching exercises.
Through circus art, systematic training in a circus studio, the skills of collective creative activity, a responsible attitude to the results of one’s work and the work of the team, and the development of a culture of behavior, discipline and composure are developed.
The circus studio program is designed for 3 years of study, the age of the students is the same. The program is aimed at the physical and creative development of students, introducing students to universal human values.
In extracurricular activities, the circus studio occupies an important place. The presented program is developmental in nature - educational and is aimed at the formation of an aesthetically, physically developed personality, at awakening creative active children. Based on my work experience, rural school children are close to physical activity, so I chose circus art, studying exercises, circus sketches and performances in grades 4-6.
Typically, children of this age are a friendly, close-knit team; there is every opportunity to carry out serious educational work with them. At this age, they take on a conscious and meaningful character, show the ability to control themselves, restrain themselves, help each other, and go to classes with pleasure. Classes are conducted in a more complicated version and at a faster pace.
By awakening children to further master the circus arts, this training course provides an opportunity to express themselves as individuals and reveal their inner world.
The purpose of the circus studio is“MICHEER” for this additional educational program is the development of attention, emotional memory, creative imagination, responsibility, willpower, control of one’s body.
Objectives of the studio supplied:
1. Introduce children to the wonderful world of circus art, taking into account age characteristics.
2. To introduce the types of circus art: acrobatics, power acrobatics, gymnastics, yoga, juggling, clowning, eccentricity.
3. Developing skills of collective creative activity, responsibility for the performance of each team member.
4. Improving the culture of behavior of pupils, promoting a healthy lifestyle.
Basic methodological principles:
Systematicity and completeness;
Continuity of training and education;
Taking into account the age characteristics of students;

EXPLANATORY NOTE
The educational program "Circus Art" has a physical education and sports orientation with elements of an artistic orientation.
The program is based on teaching experience working with students for 6 years.
Circus art is one of the oldest components of world culture and sport. It was formed from public square performances and theatrical sports competitions. The program included: acrobatic and juggling performances, animal training, illusion rides. The performances of professional circus performers were known in Ancient Egypt, Ancient Greece, Ancient Rome, Byzantium and other countries. From the second half of the 18th century, the first dynasties of Russian circus performers began to form. The first stationary circus in Russia was opened on December 11, 1827 in St. Petersburg.
Circus art is unusual and eccentric. The precision and virtuosity with which circus performers perform the most complex tricks has always attracted spectators. Interest in the circus continues to this day.
The NOVELTY lies in the fact that in the field of additional education, programs for teaching circus arts for school-age children have not previously been published, this was the impetus for the development of this program.
The RELEVANCE of the program lies in the demand for training in circus arts in a physical education and sports orientation.

Explanatory note
In modern conditions of development of our society, there is a need to raise a generation of people who are healthy physically, morally and spiritually.
Due to its beauty and brightness, circus art can be most attractive to very young children, and they will want to become a participant in this bright and spectacular action. It is not for nothing that the circus, along with the theater, has its own ancient history, which makes it possible to introduce a young person to circus art and culture.
Throughout human history, the beauty of the human body has been a source of inspiration and has been glorified by poets and artists. In almost all cultures of the world, it has long remained the main human value.
Practicing circus art even now allows you to strive to achieve beauty and the ability to control your body to perfection. Constant training allows you to strengthen your child’s health, teach him to properly distribute the load during physical exercise, coordinate his movements, and cultivate will, patience and hard work. Activities in a group contribute to the moral growth of the child, the culture and ethics of relationships in the team, and the development of creative, artistic and stage abilities.
The educational program “Variety and Circus Art” has an artistic and aesthetic orientation, developed for 4 years of study for children aged 6-13 years. The content of the program allows the teacher to conduct training taking into account the age characteristics and physical abilities of the children, constantly diagnosing and monitoring the students’ results. The program cannot be “dead” if the team develops, the teacher’s experience grows, teaching methods are improved, and the educational aspect is thought out more clearly and interestingly. Students' interest in new trends in the world of variety and circus arts is maintained and developed. This leads to constant adjustment of the structure and volume, new sections of the program appear, and the range of activities of the team expands for the long term. The program allows for step-by-step performance monitoring. If necessary, quickly make adjustments to the educational process, promoting mutual understanding and co-creativity between the teacher, child and parents. A differentiated approach allows each child to constantly feel the care and support of the teacher, and instills self-confidence. This program can be used individually for disabled children who have shown an interest in circus arts. For children with basic physical training, the program provides for variability in the first year of study.
Purpose of the program:
While preserving and enhancing the physical health of the child, through variety and circus art, to form a creative personality.
Tasks:
Educational:
To develop knowledge of the main genres of circus art, safety precautions during training and performances.
To develop the ability to control your body, assess your physical condition and regulate it in the process of training activities.
To develop the ability to beautifully and accurately perform acrobatic elements, connections and compositions.
Develop readiness to independently choose a genre.
Educational:
Develop creative activity.
Develop physical qualities (flexibility, speed, agility, strength)
Develop endurance and coordination.
Educational:
To form friendly relationships between the teacher and the child, parents, mentoring relationships between elders and younger ones.
Preserve and enrich the traditions of the team.
Develop the ability to communicate.
Relevance of the program.
Acrobatics is one of the sports that harmoniously combines mental and physical development of a person. In addition to improving health, acrobatics and other circus genres have a huge aesthetic impact on children, broaden their horizons, helping them to understand the physical and spiritual capabilities of a person.
By working in a group, children not only receive the physical training necessary for this type of activity, but expand their knowledge of circus art, become more familiar with various genres, and become adherents of one of them.
This program allows all students to receive more harmonious development, cultivate personal qualities and develop the ability to communicate.
Organization of the educational process
The group includes children from 6 to 13 years old. The training program lasts 4 years.
At the end of each year of schooling the childa sheet of personal achievements is presented, which is the basis for enrolling him for the next year, as well as guidance for further individual improvement. After the fourth year, a certificate of completion of the training program in the Nevsky Cascade circus group is issued.
Lesson mode
1 year – classes are held 2 times a week for 1 hour (for children with basic training)
1 year – classes are held 2 times a week for 2 hours.
Year 2 – classes are held 2 times a week for 2 hours.
Year 3 – classes are held 3 times a week for 2 hours.
4th year – individual and group lessons 4 times a week for 2 hours.
Individual lessons for children with disabilities once a week for one hour.
Children train in uniform clothing and shoes that do not restrict movement.
Admission conditions
All interested children aged 6 to 10 years are accepted into the team. Upon admission to the team, a medical certificate is required confirming the absence of contraindications for classes. An interview is conducted, which is the primary diagnosis of the basic physical characteristics of the children. Based on the results of this interview, children are enrolled in the appropriate year of study.
Step-by-step development of the program
The implementation of this program is carried out in stages and is designed for four years, each year has its own clearly defined purpose:
first year – general physical training and mastering basic exercises;
second year – mastering acrobatic elements and combinations;
third year – familiarization with circus genres, choice of genre;
fourth year – improving skills.
The team as an environment for development, learning and
education of the child's personality
No educational work will take place if there is no contact, respect and mutual understanding between the teacher and the child. This also applies to relationships with parents.
Often classes are structured in such a way as to provide an opportunity for team members to demonstrate their achievements, the correct execution of individual elements and compositions, and also to help the teacher in working with less successful children, instilling in them confidence in their own abilities.
At the same time, an individual approach to each child does not prevent the creation of a single, integral team, with its own traditions, which are formed over time.
The traditions of the group are the “Birthday all year round” holiday, which celebrates the birthdays of all the children of the group on the same day, and the “Debut” holiday, where the members of the group who performed for the first time receive congratulations. The “Acting Book” is also awarded there, where all his subsequent performances are recorded.
The “Nevsky Cascade” team interacts with other groups of the artistic department of the Palace of Children and Youth Creativity in preparing joint performances, trips, holidays such as New Year, KVN, sporting events, etc.

Inclusion of parents in the activities of a single team
To increase the effectiveness of the educational process of children, the support and assistance of parents is necessary. At the same time, traditional parent-teacher meetings, open classes and conversations are not enough for parents not only to understand the importance of what their child is doing, what he experiences in the learning process and how difficult it can be to train, but also to support the child during homework.
On the basis of the team, an aerobics group has started working for interested parents, where mothers not only train, but also learn how to perform some acrobatic elements that their children practice in classes. Parents become more physically prepared and also master professional terms. This allows them to provide specific help to their child. Now they attend children’s classes more often and with desire, their interest in the learning outcomes is growing, and they can sufficiently competently insure the child while practicing some elements at home.
Forms of organization of the educational process and teaching methods
Classes are conducted in groups and small groups. The main forms of work are: training, rehearsals, open and test classes, sports events, competitions and festivals, as well as creative meetings with professional artists and excursions to the circus.
During the classes, a variety of methods of working with children are used: verbal, visual, practical, reproductive, search, inductive, creative
(viewing and analysis of video recordings of the group’s performances at competitions and festivals, stories and conversations with students, demonstrations by the teacher; for the most successful development of the program, test and acting books are used, and visual cards with various complexes of acrobatic elements are used to record and control the performance of exercises).
At the end of each year of study, children are given a sheet of personal achievements, which is the basis for enrolling them in the next year of study. After 4 years of study under the program, a certificate of additional education is issued.
