Vlad gross. Valov Vlad: Master Sheff in the world of music

Vladislav Valov, which also has a hip-hop vibe Master CHEF- Russian rap artist, leader of the group Bad Balance. Vlad Valov Born in 1971, he began his hip-hop career in 1986 as a street dancer, later becoming a performer, poet, musician, producer, and businessman.

Master CHEF- this forever young think tank Bad Balance- seems to be more and more disappointed in what domestically produced hip-hop is turning into. Because the objective rap reality is that the influence Vlada Valova on development trends Russian rap at the current historical stage - negligible. It was in the mid-late nineties that he could be called the godfather of hip-hop in Russia.

That's why CHEF, as a smart person - albeit an extremely vain one (which often hinders him in life) - realizing this, he relies on old school, true rap and contrasting his vision of hip-hop with what newfangled stars, like the Black Star Mafia artists, are doing.

Vlad Valov, this eminent rap musician and producer, is looking for new niches for using his talents and achievements. In particular, it is possible that very soon he will join the rap label he owns. 100Pro an auction house or art gallery will be added. The foundation of his collection of modern paintings was laid.

The naked eye can see that the author spent a lot of time developing the composition, color scheme and, especially, the image of his own signature and the title of the work. The works are filled with some secret meaning (some say that Sheff- is a member of the Masonic society, but the site stubbornly refuses to believe this), known only to a narrow circle of people.

These paintings by Vlad Valov can be attributed to a new, hitherto non-existent style, namely Bad B - a style with a slight admixture of primitivism. The special merit of these paintings lies in the color scheme, which continues the traditions of the old masters. And not hip-hop masters at all...

Music occupies a special place in the life of every person. For some, these are just sounds, while others think that they are the meaning of life. Creating musical works is the pinnacle of art, which not every person can achieve. In the modern world, Vlad Valov is considered a successful rapper, a wonderful producer, the leader of the popular group “Bad Balance” and a songwriter. Oddly enough, such a versatile personality prefers a wide variety of performers. The performer is often called Master Chef, since he is truly a professional in his field.

Celebrity biography

Valov Vlad was born on July 8, 1971. Despite his short musical career, the young performer managed to achieve results that not many people are satisfied with at fifty. Vlad's career began in the late eighties. Since childhood, the boy loved music, dancing and everything connected with it. Therefore, the beginning of his career is associated with performing street stunts. A little later, the singer and simply talented young man managed to prove himself in various fields of musical activity. These days, Vlad Valov is a successful producer, performer, artist and excellent businessman.

The role of music in Valov's life

Many hip-hoppers begin their careers with a wonderful street dance called breakdancing. The case of Master Sheff is no exception. In 1986, when the young man was 15 years old, he was offered to try himself as a performer in the White Gloves group. For three years, the guy was part of a team that won many competitions and awards in the USSR.

In 1989, Vlad Valov decided to found his own group, the name of which he gave “Bad Balance”. To this day, the team works and never ceases to delight fans with new compositions. Over the entire period passed, the group released ten studio albums, gave concerts in many European cities and participated in dozens of tours. Thanks to his excellent business skills, musical talent and ability to work in a team, Valov achieved good success. When the group participated in international competitions, it took prizes and often left behind German, French and teams of other nationalities.

Hits from Master Sheff

Among the successful compositions released by the Bad Balance group, the following stand out: “Above the Law”, “Stone Forest”, “Little by Little”, “Seven Do Not Wait for One” and others. Solo songs were also presented, performed by Valov alone. These include: “Name - Chef”, “Premium” and “Instrumentals”. In 2002, Valov opened his own label.

Other activities

In addition to how much effort Valov put into the group, he managed to pay attention to other areas of activity, such as production work, the development of hip-hop culture, and so on. It should be noted that Vlad tried to provide new musical talents who had not had time to prove themselves with the best conditions so that the latter could open up and show what they are capable of. Vlad Valov was the initiator of the creation of the International Rap Music Festival, which, in his opinion, should be held annually.

It is worth noting that the artist is doing very well as a producer. He helped many performers create amazing compositions, was the teacher of the well-known rapper Timati, produced Decl and won the MTV Russian Viewers Choice award with him. In addition, Valov collaborated with Elka and promises to present several new projects in the future.

Vlad Valov can also be thanked for opening the first vinyl DJ schools in the country. In addition, the popular singer insisted on hosting thematic radio programs about hip-hop. Among the performer's positive traits, his desire to live and act fairly stands out, so he has always fought against piracy, giving preference to licensed discs.

It was thanks to Vlad Valov’s intense and versatile activities that the singer achieved such success that his fans can see today. He's not trying to be rich and famous (although the producer already is), his goal is to improve hip-hop and push its development a few steps forward.

Valov's personal life

Over his 42 years, Vlad Valov has changed a lot in the world of hip-hop. Today, almost all rappers recognize his photo, for whom he, in turn, is a role model. It is known that Valov devotes a lot of time to charity and independently held more than fifteen concerts to raise funds.

Unfortunately, the singer does not like to talk about his personal life and hides it well from annoying fans and the press. As for the family, Vlad Valov’s wife, according to the artist, should accept him as he is in different life situations. At the moment, the performer is hiding whether he is in a relationship with someone or not. But that's his right. We, fans of talent, can only guess about Vlad’s secret life.

There is more and more Internet in the life of a modern city dweller, but there is less and less hip-hop on television screens. Is it any wonder that the domestic hip-hop community “lives” online?

I'm not just talking about fans who receive the lion's share of information about their idols from the Internet and discuss it on forums. The artists themselves are more than active online and communicate and interact with fans.

This is not just about “spontaneous” communication on forums – they won’t surprise us anymore. Let us dwell on more systemic phenomena. For example, Dime, a member of Nonamerz and head of Rap Recordz, started an interesting blog http://pravdorap.livejournal.com/ where it pleases “readers of letters” with interesting analytics and interesting thoughts about domestic rap.

There is another feedback option: answers to fan questions. Less creative, but still very, very interesting. On the site www.ligalize.ru there is a FAQ section with answers to your questions - however, activity is not high yet. On the site www.badb.ru Elka communicates with fans. However, the main heavyweight of this industry and, with your permission, a trendsetter, is Vlad Valov, on the same forum www.badb.ru very regularly answering questions from readers. This section is the highlight of the site, has its own charisma and attracts a wide variety of readers – including us. We present to you a selection of the most interesting answers - for the second time.

THE MASTER'S CASE IS AFRAID: VLAD VALOV IN QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS-2

BAD B, 100PRO AND OTHERS

Vlad, club dance (sometimes pseudo-glamorous) rap is in demand now. Will 100pro have such projects? And what do you think of Seryoga’s PR move when his album was released in limited edition on vinyl and distributed to DJs? Would you like to do the same with some collections and albums?

This is a tribute to fashion... We will show something and close this topic...

Vlad! What releases from Sotka can we expect in the fall? Will there be bombs?

I’m not telling you yet, but something will really surprise everyone...

Who will produce the new Bad Balance album? I can suggest some good candidates: 1) Dj Premier 2) Pete Rock 3) Eric Sermon

There are other names and no weaker...

Will the Al Solo album be released this year?

He writes slowly and at night. You won't hear his album this year.

What is Cooper's relationship with 108 now? And do they communicate at all?

108 makes money from R&B. Cooper never cared about that kind of money. They are different in this.

Vlad, if you are a master, then you are also a teacher. Who is your best student?

Since I am the first and only one who has not given up what I am doing, I am confident in my followers. This phrase has it all. One day I will announce the winner and hand over the crown of domestic hip-hop to him...

I recently noticed this topic on TV, Yolka and the Game of Words against the DJs of Next radio on MTV in Mobile Robots. Your people won with a crushing score. This apparently indicates not only that you chose the right people, but apparently also some kind of duel between you and Tolmatsky, as the two “main” ones... A rough comparison with chess: the one who has more pawns wins. Yours remained, his was blown away...
Congratulations to them and you...

I don't know any of their DJs. Only Infinity knows their names. And the whole country knows the Christmas tree and the Game of Words. Here's the real answer.

Vlad! Is it possible to register for free on Sotka???

OTHER ARTISTS

Could you single out anyone from Russian female rap?

Tommy is the first. Sexy Liya developed a good style at one time. Miss T is fast and hot. Lady DiO is the most technical. Elka is brilliant.

SheFF, Legalize at the Factory, Legalize reads under plus and releases a very mediocre album. Not to mention some of his rash words and setups. Question: do you think he understands that he is in shit, but cannot/doesn’t want to leave Tolmatsky, or does he really think that THIS is right?

League has always been a fashionista. Today the club movement is fashionable, he is there. It's a pity. He's killing his talent as a rhyme maker.

If you were an ordinary listener and you heard the League dissing you and their response, who would you believe?

There is truth and confirmation in life in CHEF's answer. The League has phrases. The League would have been lost in my rap dictionary.

In one of his interviews, Gosha Kutsenko said that he likes your music. Do you know him personally?

Yes, he wanted to try rapping. But it never made it to our studio.

Are Sheff, Bachinsky and Stilavin the same “scumbags” in real life as they are on the screen?

No. They are completely normal people...

Why wasn’t Vladi from Casta on the jury of the 2000 Rap Music, although he was originally announced there?

I called him on the phone, but a conversation took place, at the end of which I decided to remove him from the jury. The guy at that moment, in my opinion, was not yet ready to judge others.

Vlad, have you heard about the opening of the Opera club? Will any of you go there?

I haven't heard and don't know anything about it. Usually the owners of respectable clubs invite us personally.

RUSSIA AND AMERICA

You have no competitors in Russia. And America?

We don't understand their lyrics, they don't understand ours. There can be no competition...

Will you go to the concert at the Expocentre?

With great pleasure, but we have an emergency. Submission of music for a feature film. I really want to, but my creativity comes first. I hope that Basta will not ask you, “Where is this Russia?” I disliked him for this in 1995...

SheFF, do you know Snoop Dogg? Have you ever talked to him?

I talked to its director, but they couldn’t agree on a price, so he wasn’t in Russia. Snoop, Too Pac and CHEF were born the same year.

In hip-hop music, the sampled segments of some music are often the same among different artists. Vlad, tell me, how do you feel about this and how do you think repetitions should be avoided?

I'm a pioneer. My initial samples (which I creatively stole myself) ranged from Jay Z to Snoop Dogg. But this is hip-hop. I'm okay with this...

In the West, there is a trend for pop artists to record together with rappers (pop-hoppers). Why is this rarely practiced in Russia?

The time will come for us too. Hip-hop will become completely commercial...

What is respect worth in Russian show business?

Money decides everything there...

Vlad, why don’t you drive a Rolls-Royce or Bentley? You're a cool rapper. For a cool rapper - a cool car, a cool gun and a cool joint...

Are you talking about Russian rappers? Do you know the difference between our fees and American ones, for example? Do you know how much the average salary is here and in European hip-hop countries? If necessary, I can take all this from my friends who have not reached my level in hip-hop, but have become professional raiders...
I am a creative person and do not seek to show off. That's funny! Everything I have was earned by myself and by doing what I love...

A LITTLE BIT ABOUT YOURSELF

Vlad, what brand of slippers do you wear and how much did you buy them for?

I buy about 20 pairs a year. I bought the last Nikes for 5,850 rubles...

Vlad! What sneakers do you like?

Converse and Puma. I love Nike and New Balance. Adidas and all the companies that sponsored my work.

Vlad, how tall are you?

1 meter 75 cm...

Chief, have you always earned money honestly in your life?

From my point of view, always...

Childhood, summer holidays - how did you spend them? Where?

In the pioneer camp "Volna", on the Sea of Azov.

Sheff, have you ever stood on a skateboard at least once in your life, if so, how many seconds?

In 1988 I rode a crocodile down a hill. Monya and I had identical crocodiles, sat opposite each other, clasped our hands and rolled down without brakes. It was called good luck. Crocodile is the most dangerous skate of Italian origin...

You were clearly a tough guy when you were a kid. Tell me honestly, did you make fun of your classmates?

I was still joking. I played football well, was the best break dancer, traded with the company (I was cool) and did not like crams, suckers and roosters.

How about buying some land in Melekino and making a real resort?

Why should I buy land there if it’s all mine anyway...

Vlad, do you sometimes play basketball?

This is not my game...

What about "Moscow old-school"? “there’s a street court two minutes walk from McDonald’s/ we still play three on three for money.”

Once I hurt my back. I haven't played since 2000. But I play football. Micah loved basketball more.

Vlad, when you play football, in what position? Right half? Or left forward?

I move on offense. I like to play accurate passes...

Vlad, is there that one, beloved and priceless one in your life?

I have everything in my life. But this is personal life...

Vlad, happy 35th birthday to you! Don't you think about Valov Jr.? After all, there must be a successor. And who else but a son, huh?

I don't like to cover my personal life. Believe me, I'm doing very well.

Can you give a formula for happiness in family life?

My dear friend... This is faith, hope, love.

LITTLE NOTHINGS OF LIFE

Vlad, have you ever had such a thing: you just went on stage to read, and you were attacked by hiccups?

When you read the hiccups disappear...

Hello, Vlad... I found it by chance on the Internet:

And there from heaven look at us
Lead with an invisible hand
Let the earth be your atlas
Shine on us as a bright star!

You are in our hearts forever
Forever in our sinful souls
Years later, centuries later
At the core of an unthinkable universe.

Forgive us everything, sleep well
Your words are dear to us
They are diamonds in the palms
We have lost something dear...

Vlad Valov

was it written by you? and to whom is it dedicated, if by you?

Once I lost a thick folder with dozens of poems... It’s impossible to remember them, especially since there were a lot of works there... These could be my poems... I won’t be able to remember...

This cannot be learned immediately. People spend years on this. Also, I don’t want my enemies to use my advice. And they read all my answers...

Vlad, do you have so many of them (enemies)?

They exist and are often hidden under friendly people from the forum...

What is your attitude towards the hip-hop.ru forum and the people inhabiting it? After all, most of the regulars there openly show hostility towards you and the BB forum. What caused this and what is it connected with?

I don’t know this forum, but according to your words... I would like to see people from there and have a heart-to-heart talk somewhere on the street.

SheFF, rap.ru always treats you and your words with respect, they are called nothing less than a cult figure in Rusrap... Why is there such a negative attitude towards them?

Because I am not a cult figure, but the creator of domestic rap music. Different levels...

Hello Chief, please tell me how to rap with pleasure, write everywhere and always? I have all sorts of ideas and all that, but if I write anything, it’s through force. I just can’t do this with desire. Maybe you can advise something? Thank you very much in advance!

Stop doing this...
