In diesem Jahr mache ich mein Abitur und versuche einen Platz an der Uni in Moskau zu bekommen. (I'm finishing school this year and will try to go to university.) Dafür muss ich hart arbeiten. (For this I must study hard.) Und das tue ich. (And I do.) Ich habe viele Freunde. In der Freizeit treffen wir uns. (I have many friends.) Meine Freunde sind sehr wichtig für mich. (My friends are very important to me.) Im Sommer gehen wir zusammen wandern oder schwimmen. (In the summer we go hiking or swimming.) Wir gehen oft ins Kino oder in die Disko. Ich heiße Olga. Ich bin 19 Jahre alt. Zurzeit bin ich Studentin und studiere Germanistik. Es gefällt mir, viele interessante Tatsachen über Deutschland und deutsche Sprache erfahren. Das Studium fällt mir nicht schwer und das macht mir Spaß. Ich fühle eine starke Hinneigung zu Fremdsprachen. Meiner Meinung nach beherrscht man ohne Wunsch keine Fremdsprache. Heute ist das Erlernen einer Sprache zu einer objektiven Notwendigkeit geworden. Das ist ein wichtiges Instrument der Kommunikation.

Wenn ich Freizeit habe, lese ich gern. Gewöhnlich nehme ich Bücher in der Bibliothek, aber manchmal kaufe sie im Buchladen. Meistens kaufe ich solche Bücher, die ich beim Studium brauche. Für die Erholung lese ich Abenteuerliteratur mit spannendem Sujet.

Sport nimmt in meinem Leben auch nicht den letzten Platz. Nicht weit von meinem Haus befindet sich ein Stadion. Am Abend laufe ich dort einige Kreise durch, und am Morgen mache körperliche Übungen. Deshalb fühle ich mich immer munter und bin gut gelaunt.

Ich wohne mit meinen Eltern. Da ich in die Uni in eine andere Stadt nicht fahren soll, brauche ich nicht eine Wohnung zu mieten. Meine Mutter ist Lehrerin von Beruf. Informatik ist ihr Unterrichtsfach. Mein Vater arbeitet als Chefingenieur. Ich habe noch einen Bruder, der noch in der Schule lernt.

Mein Traum ist Dolmetscherin zu werden. Deshalb lerne ich fleißig und mache alles Mögliche, um mein Ziel erreichbar zu machen.

Studying is easy for me, and it brings me pleasure. I feel a strong inclination towards learning foreign languages. In my opinion, without desire you cannot master a foreign language. Today, learning a foreign language has become an objective necessity. This is an important communication tool.

When I have free time, I like to read. I usually borrow books from the library, but sometimes I buy them from a bookstore. In most cases, I buy books that I need for my studies. For relaxation, I read adventure literature with a fascinating plot.

Sport also plays an important role in my life. There is a stadium not far from my house. I run a few laps there in the evening and exercise in the morning. Therefore, I always feel cheerful and in a good mood.

I live with my parents. Since I don't go to university in another city, I don't need to rent an apartment. My mother is a teacher by profession. She teaches computer science. My dad works as a chief engineer. I also have a brother who is still in school.

My dream is to become a translator. So I study hard and do everything I can to make my goal achievable.
