“I really built the house that I had dreamed about all my life.” It requires numerous body movements and large investments, but all the bumps fell exclusively on my head. I was both a foreman and a designer, and I watched over the workers so that they didn’t drink, didn’t mess around... This was my first serious project, completed from the first nail to the last brick. I went to Italy specifically to buy curtains and wallpaper. However, I liked such worries. Apparently, this is inherited from my father, an architect.

When it was finally over, Vovka exclaimed: “What a great fellow you are, Lenskaya! But I’m not a failure either - I also put a lot of work into the house.” (Laughs). However, we did not live in the house for long. Country life turned out to be incompatible with Volodin’s character - he felt uncomfortable at the dacha. We are not oligarchs; we could not afford an elite mansion on Rublyovka, where everything is arranged down to the smallest detail. In parallel with us, many were being built in Peredelkino, and this meant constant rumble, noise and other inconveniences...

— In a word, did you have to sell the house?

- Alas, yes. But this was not the last straw in our relationship. Thank God, Vovka and I remained real, warm, and kind. It’s just, as they say, a scythe on a stone: none of us wanted to give in or submit. In general, I left for America, promising: “When I return, we will solve everything.” I spend a lot of time in the USA - I have business there, and besides, my close friends - Lika Varum and Lenya Agutin - often come there. That time I stayed for two and a half months - my soul was so bad.

Upon returning, she offered Vovka a divorce. “When,” I told him, “you and I lived in a civil marriage, everything was fine. But as soon as we checked in at the registry office, a family tsunami began. Let’s see if after the divorce we’ll live as before?”

After submitting the application, we continued to live in the same apartment (by the way, we separated only recently). On February 1st they stopped being husband and wife. Moreover, I had a boyfriend, but I couldn’t tell Vova about it. I understood that it would hurt him. By that time, everyday life had completely exhausted us, we began to literally harass and torture each other. This, of course, did not look like vulgar kitchen scandals with breaking dishes and fighting. It just became completely unbearable, and I realized: it was time for me to leave.

— Did you pack your things, leave the apartment to your ex-husband and go to someone else?

— Vova and I lived in a rented apartment. We both still don’t have our own roof over our heads—we haven’t saved up. I took my personal belongings and that's it. Much is still in the old place. We didn’t divide the property, we didn’t file lawsuits - all this is nonsense. God willing, we will earn ours.

— Once in an interview, your mother-in-law Elena Presnyakova complained: they say, your son seems to be an adult, but, on the other hand, he is a rock and roll child, a romantic. Is it true that he likes to sleep until the evening, is late for meetings, or even doesn’t show up at all, has no idea about everyday life? Can you really go with friends on motorcycles who knows where and who knows how long?

- I agree with the first points - Vovka loves to lie in bed until seven in the evening, but to wander off into God knows where - this has never happened. He is a very homely person. After work, go home. On the contrary, I missed going out. I loved hanging out, having fun in nightclubs, but I couldn’t go there without my husband?!

“PRESSNYAKOV WAS TELLED THAT I HAD AN AFFAIR WITH A FAMOUS HOCKEY PLAYER”

“They were and remain the closest people.” Moreover, we spend all holidays and birthdays together.

— So at family celebrations you appear with a young man, and Volodya with his girlfriend, singer Natasha Podolskaya?

- And this happens, why not? Our fate is decided in heaven. If people are destined to meet, then so be it. Especially if the previous relationship is over. Time passes, the person calms down and prepares for a new stage of his life. This happened to me first, and I suffered for both of them, because I still loved Volodya. Terrible thing! Imagine, there was even a moment when I myself advised him to start dating someone. He was tossing and worrying.

For some reason, Vova thought that I was having an affair with the famous hockey player Ilya Kovalchuk, who lives in America. The fact is that my brother is seriously involved in hockey. I root for him at the stadium. So I bought all sorts of hockey pipes and fan gadgets as gifts. Well, in Moscow there are still evil tongues that whispered different things to Volodya.

— Did Volodya listen to your advice and decide to seek solace on the side?

- No. We have never cheated on each other. And I couldn’t live with a person who betrayed me at least once. Therefore, when I had a young man, all relations with Volodya immediately ceased. Nevertheless, I was not one hundred percent sure that I could leave him, our feelings were so strong. He is still the first to congratulate me on all holidays.

- Maybe Presnyakov still loves you?

“Well, I love him too, but these are completely different feelings.”

- A sensitive question. Is it true that after the breakup Volodya went on a long drinking binge?

“I can’t say that he started drinking that much.” Vovka is a creative person, which means she is susceptible to this weakness. Of course, personal troubles aggravated it somewhat, but not as catastrophically as they say. It was hard for me too. Nothing, she survived.

— How did you get out of depression?

“I simply didn’t have it.” And all because... Volodya was always nearby. Imagine, he helped me. If at any moment I missed him, I called him myself, several times a day or at night, we chatted for a long time, said good, warm words to each other. I sincerely wish that Vovka would learn as many useful lessons as possible from our relationship with him, from his relationship with Christina. And so that his life would no longer be overshadowed by everyday misunderstandings. I repeat once again: our relationship was devoured by everyday life.

If Volodya is happy, I will be three times happy for him. He deserved it. And I deserve it too. None of us should suffer.

— Today you are seriously involved in the modeling business. If Presnyakov asked to make exclusive outfits for his Natalia, would you agree?

“I often invited both him and her to participate in my shows. If there is time, they will definitely come. Natasha could appear on my catwalk as a model, but she helps another fashion designer - my friend.

— Do Volodya and Natasha have a serious relationship?

— I don’t know much about this, since I spend most of my time overseas. There I have my own life and my own love. Why get involved in other people's business? I really want Natasha to understand Vova. It's hard with him. Presnyakov Jr. is a talented person who requires maximum attention. A woman must take this into account, which means she must come to terms with...

— Does your loved one live in America?

“We’ll talk about this in at least six months.” I’m not ready to discuss my personal life yet - I’m afraid I’ll jinx it...

— Are you going to set up business in America?

“That’s exactly what I’m doing now.” But task number one is to do something serious in Ukraine. We need to return to our homeland, not everyone can run away from Kyiv. Today it is a very promising city, and if everything is built correctly, living here is much more interesting than in Moscow.

— Do you like to attract pop stars to show your collections?

- For me, they are not stars - friends, kind people, not envious. I don't communicate with others. My closest friend is Angelika Varum. And among the artists who attend my shows, buy something, order something are Katya Lel, Danko, Sasha Marshal, Alla Dukhova, Sasha Burataeva, Yana Poplavskaya.

I hope that I make high-quality and good clothes. I love working with both “heavy” and “light” materials. The outerwear collection includes furs and leather, while evening wear is dominated by cashmere and silk. I don't accept dogma. The classic is great, but it needs a modern twist. I'm trying to combine into a single thing something that doesn't fit at all.

I’ve been involved in the modeling business for more than 10 years - at the age of 25 I presented my first collection in the Kremlin. Now I have three of my own workshops: in Moscow, Smolensk and Italy. We make exclusive, handmade things - the same fur coats made of sable, chinchilla...

— Aren’t you afraid of competition?

“She doesn’t bother me at all.” I'm sure I have a great future. I dream of opening a big fashion house, but for this I need financial support. I have always struggled alone, but today I want to find a business partner who would believe in me...

“With your drive, self-confidence and determination, you should succeed.”

- Thank you. I also broke up with Volodya because I realized: if I don’t do serious business, I’ll waste away. But he didn't approve. Volodya considered only the work of a singer and musician to be a serious matter. But I’m a romantic person, just as rock and roll as Volodya, and I can’t stand it when they start putting spokes in the wheel, repeating every day: “Why do you need all this? Sit at home! You already have everything... Give me back my old, dear Lenochka.” But I want to achieve everything myself.

— Has Moscow changed you a lot?

- No. I'm still the same crazy kid I was when I was a kid. I still want to be little, I want to be pitied, to be hugged, kissed and wished good night at night. So that they do incredible things for me. At the same time, I want to live well and in no case depend on anyone.

“WE WANTED CHILDREN, BUT THE LORD DID NOT GIVE IT”

— Dad moved to his homeland in Zhitomir, mom is with me in Moscow. In Kyiv I have an aunt and brother - the closest people on earth. Grandmother recently died. In a village near Kiev, a hut and a small piece of land remained. I decided to build a house there.

— I heard on TV that you and Volodya Presnyakov gathered to see this site.

- If he wants, I will be glad. The doors of my house are always open for Volodya and his family. For 10 years, the two of us never made it out to visit our grandmother; we were only at the funeral...

There are rumors that it was Vovka who abandoned me. Rave! Nobody abandoned anyone. It’s just that I was the first to have my own, different life. But even for her sake I didn’t leave my husband. But we remained more than husband and wife.

- Sorry for the tactlessness, but the press reported about your failed pregnancy, that Volodya really wanted a child, but you could not bear it.

— There was no pregnancy, although we are both completely healthy people - we were checked and tested. We wanted children, we really spent some time preparing, but the Lord did not give it. Yes, we weren’t particularly worried. You need to have offspring when you are absolutely ready for it. But for me, Vovka was always a child.

I do not regret anything. We lived together for nine wonderful years. Only the last year has been very difficult. I remember how every time I returned from a trip, I found rose petals scattered near the elevator, which led to the doors of the apartment. There was always a rose in the castle, with a note on the rose: “Welcome, my cupid!” Then the petals led to the bedroom, where Vovka, tired after the concert, was sleeping. From 1987 to 1994, Vladimir Presnyakov worked at the popular Song Theater of singer Alla Pugacheva. Already in the late 1980s he created the group “Captain”. They performed the program “Farewell to Childhood.” The group toured with her in Moscow, as well as in cities near and far abroad. The entire kitchen was covered with her photographs. I always thought how beautiful Vova’s mother was. And yet, after a few months of friendship with Vova, we met her.

Soon Kristina and Volodya got married, and Elena and her husband, embarrassed, asked the lovers through a closed door what time to wake them up in the morning.

From the very beginning, the mother-in-law always supported Christina in everything, and her son sometimes even exploded from such solidarity. For six months after my grandmother’s death, I was content with freedom and made some mistakes. Then I met Vova Presnyakov... And that was the end of my parties. From the end of the ninth grade, I was already employed,” said Orbakaite.
