Holidays in the United Arab Emirates: useful information and features of the holiday. Opening up the UAE! Which emirate to choose

Which resort to choose for a beach holiday in the Emirates? Read about where it is better to relax and when it is preferable to go to the UAE in our detailed review!

The United Arab Emirates is truly a country of contrasts. Here you can meet stately men in white national attire, getting into a Bentley studded with diamonds. Exhausted from hard work, builders walk along the same streets on their way to their slums. Deep poverty and unimaginable luxury, the dirt of poor neighborhoods and the grandeur of ultra-modern projects created by the hands of the richest people on the planet. When looking for a suitable place where you can relax in the UAE, you are faced with a combination of worlds that attract both with their diversity and harmony.

Seasons in the UAE: when is the best time to relax?

The Emirates have a dry subtropical climate. It almost never rains here. Beginning from May The heat is unbearable and lasts until until September. In this regard, half a year of scorching heat is considered not a particularly favorable time for travel. In summer, air temperatures can exceed +50°C in the shade. This should be especially taken into account by those who go on holiday to the UAE with children during the hot season or have health problems. The positive aspects of this period are lower prices for tours and a well-warmed sea.

The peak holiday season in the UAE falls on October And november when the thermometer drops to +30°C. Holiday prices during these months are accordingly the highest. In December, the cost of tours decreases, as does the temperature - to +25°C. The water is also cooling, but for many tourists this cooling is not critical, and the beach season does not lose its relevance. In April, the heat gradually begins to return to the Emirates, raising both prices for tours and temperature indicators to +30°C.

Where is the best place to relax in the UAE?

7 emirates provide the opportunity to satisfy the needs of perhaps even the most sophisticated tourists. We will tell you about some of the features of the two most popular areas among tourists.

Dubai

This is one of the most modern and progressive areas of the UAE, which is experiencing a real boom in both economic development and tourism. The emirate is divided into 11 districts, each of which will be of interest to the traveler with its unique features. In this article we will focus on two of the best places to relax.

Jumeirah

The center of beach holidays in the UAE and an elite resort with the best hotels. The legendary archipelago is adjacent to it Palm Jumeirah. It is an artificial island in the shape of a palm tree, protected from the waves by an 11-kilometer crescent of sand. The 17 “leaves” housed the villas of famous millionaires, the “trunk” was occupied by shopping centers and restaurants, and the “crescent” became an elite site for hotels of leading international hotel chains.

4 km from Dubai there is another grandiose project, The World, which is an artificially created archipelago of 300 islands that form a map of the world from a helicopter flight. The islands here are divided into three main types: residential, commercial and resort. In addition, we cannot fail to mention the famous hotel located on an artificial island in Dubai Burj Al Arab in the shape of a giant sail.

Downtown Dubai

This is a prestigious area, in the center of which is the tallest building in the world. From its roof there is a unique view of the city and the surrounding desert. Here you can dine in the highest restaurant in history. At the base of Burj Khalifa is the famous dancing fountain.

If you are looking for where you can not only relax in the UAE, but also do some shopping, we recommend visiting the world’s largest shopping center in Downtown Dubai Mall. Opposite it is the Souk Al Bahar shopping complex, which is stylized as an Arab market and offers a wide selection of national goods.

Interesting video! TV presenter and blogger Anton Ptushkin takes a video tour of the rich life in Dubai:

Abu Dhabi

The federal capital and center of government of the UAE, Abu Dhabi is considered one of the richest cities on earth. The emirate has become home to major oil companies. Despite the fact that Abu Dhabi has gone through a very short historical path, here you can see not only chic boutiques and long traffic jams. One of the best ways to see the main attractions in a few hours is to take a bus tour Big Bus Tour.

One of the top places to visit in the emirate is the sixth largest mosque in the world Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan Mosque. This marble shrine of 82 domes and 1000 columns can accommodate more than 40 thousand worshipers. Please remember that there is a strict dress code for visitors to Muslim places of worship, especially for women.

Abu Dhabi is a good choice for those who go on holiday with children to the UAE, because the Al Mushrif Children's Garden and Hili Fun City amusement parks have many attractions for little tourists.

While in Abu Dhabi, do not miss the theme park located on neighboring Yas Island Ferrari World. It is located under a roof stylized as a Ferrari GT car, with an area of 200 thousand square meters. m. Dozens of attractions in the spirit of the famous brand, a car museum and a full list of entertainment take the breath away of guests of the capital of the Emirates.

Beach holidays in UAE resorts

The length of the coastline in the Emirates is more than 700 km. Snow-white sand is washed by the waves of the Persian and Oman Gulfs. The beach holiday season in the UAE lasts almost all year round.

Abu Dhabi

The beaches of the capital are located a short distance from the city itself and are located on an island Bahrain Island. There is both a developed resort coast and a line of wild beaches. The only way to get to the island is by water.

Fujera

This is an emirate whose sea depths are chosen primarily by fans of diving and fishing. Exotic fish found in coral reefs and shipwrecks attract scuba divers from all over the world. The most popular beaches in Fujera are Al Aqah Beach, Dibba Al Fujairah and Shark Island.

Sharjah

Like almost the entire coast of the UAE, the beaches of Sharjah are perfectly clean. Nevertheless, this emirate differs from others in its particularly strict rules and prohibitions. Not all Sharjah beaches allow women to undress down to swimsuits. If there is no taboo somewhere, then the fairer sex will definitely have to forget about bikinis in the emirate. In order not to swim in your clothes, you need to choose beaches at hotels and check the dress code in advance.

Dubai

The emirate is considered the undisputed leader of beach holidays in the UAE. You can talk about the beaches of Dubai resorts for a long time and admiringly. Be it the uncrowded Ghantoot Beach, remote from the center, or the mecca for kitesurfers, Kite Beach, famous for the strongest wind in Dubai. I would like to focus on the three most popular. Two main beach parks in Dubai occupy a special place: Jumeira Beach Park(Jumeirah area) and Al Mamzar Park(Deira district).

Jumeira Beach Park

A municipal beach park with many tropical plants and neat lawns, permeated with the scent of flowers and filled with the chirping of birds. Admission for adults is paid (5 AED per person), children can visit the park for free. The entrance to the sea is gentle, so the beach is well suited for families with children. It should be noted that on Mondays only women and children under 8 years old are allowed into Jumeira Beach Park.

Al Mamzar Park

The second most popular beach park, which features beach houses with air conditioning and barbecue terraces, as well as a large swimming pool. In addition to the well-maintained coastline, here you can see an unusual wooden fortress or attend a performance in the local amphitheater. Admission is paid, 5 AED per person. Wednesday is the day when men are prohibited from relaxing on Al Mamzar Park beach.

Jumeirah Open Beach

A free beach that is very popular among Russian tourists. One of the main advantages of Jumeirah Open Beach is that it offers views of the main attractions of Dubai: the Burj Khalifa building, the Palm Jumeirah archipelago, the Burj Al Arab hotel. In addition, on the beach you can use showers, toilets, changing rooms, a playground and barbecue terraces for free. On Mondays, Jumeirah Open Beach is restricted to women and children only.

If you have always dreamed of visiting an uninhabited beach that resembles a popular candy bar advertisement, then 400 km from Dubai is Jebel Dhanna. And even if the depth does not exceed waist level 50 meters from the shore, the atmosphere of “heavenly pleasure” is guaranteed here.

After almost a year and a half without a normal vacation, I realized that I urgently needed a vacation, and not just somewhere in another country, but at sea. Before that, I had successful experience of an independent holiday in Hong Kong and Bali (which, I hope, I will talk about in other articles), so I decided not to take a tour, but also book a hotel, buy tickets and get a visa on my own.

After Egypt and Turkey were closed for flights, there was little choice left: I really wanted to visit Thailand, but, unfortunately, award tickets for Aeroflot miles were not sold there. Therefore, the choice fell on the UAE, namely the emirate of Dubai, especially since my friend flew there the previous summer, from whom I hoped to glean useful information about the country and about all sorts of nuances that for some reason are not written about in review articles and reviews of travel. I did not plan to celebrate the New Year in the UAE, because hotel prices for this period soared to cosmic heights in this already very expensive city (and with the fall of the ruble, Dubai became cosmically expensive for Russian tourists). Therefore, I bought tickets a week later than the New Year, when the main stream of compatriots was already returning to their homeland. Let me make a reservation that at the time of my trip 1 dirham (AED) was equal to 20 rubles.

After successfully purchasing a ticket, I went to the well-known hotel booking site and began to sort offers based on reviews, ratings, location and other amenities. It should be noted that hotels in Dubai are very expensive. For the money that I paid for a 2* hotel, in Asia I could easily rent a 5* room. My choice fell on the Holiday Inn Express Internet City, located near the foot of Palm Jumeirah and not very far from the bay.

My Holliday Inn Express

The hotel was attracted by the rating, which was higher than 8 on the booking, location, transport accessibility (you can walk to the metro station, as well as a tram stop), which was important for me, since I did not plan to use a taxi. The hotel also had free Wi-Fi and breakfast included. What was disappointing was the additional taxes and service fees that were not included in the room price (10% tax, 10% tourist tax, 10% service charge). The real price was 30% higher than the one stated on the booking! Somehow it's not very fair. Well, okay, the booking conditions in other hotels were not very different. The money is debited from the card one day before arrival, so on the website I could see how the cost of my vacation in rubles increased daily.

When the hotel was finished, I took care of the visa. At first, the idea arose to also do its own design in order to save money. But, as it turned out, the visa is not issued through the embassy, only through tourism companies. The visa to the UAE is electronic; to obtain it, you need a “sponsor” in the country of holiday - a company that vouches for you (as far as I understand). For Emirates passengers, everything is simple - for them the airline itself acts as a sponsor. I was flying with Aeroflot, so I decided to apply for a visa at the visa center, since you can submit documents, pay and get a visa via the Internet without going outside. All you need is a scan of your passport and a color photograph. The visa cost me 7,000 rubles.

What an independent traveler needs to do before visiting Dubai is to download a city map in 2GIS to your smartphone. Surprisingly, this application offers a very detailed map of Dubai, Sharjah and Ajman with all public transport routes and bus stops. For an independent traveler who tries not to spend money on a taxi, this is just a godsend. Unfortunately, the application does not have a map of Abu Dhabi, which would be very useful, but I hope it will be added in the future.

I also recommend purchasing tickets online in advance for attractions - the observation deck at Burj Khalifa (At the Top) and one of the water parks. But I don’t recommend taking a ticket to the Dubai Mall Aquarium; there’s absolutely nothing to see there.

And now the New Year holidays have died down, early in the morning I went to Sheremetyevo and from there on a direct flight to Dubai. At the airport of departure, I advise you to buy a small amount of cash for rubles, because upon arrival at the airport you will not have time for this, fortunately the exchange rate is not very different from the official one.

In January, the temperature in Dubai is around 22-27 degrees, so it is recommended to take off a warm jacket at the airport and put it in your luggage before check-in. Upon arrival, the longest procedure is going through border control, where they check your visa and also do a retinal scan (and they do this from a fairly large distance: you will just need to look at the pole with a camera behind the border guard), this procedure is not quick, the border guards They work slowly and the queue can last for an hour.

Having dealt with all the formalities, I hurried to the metro station, where I bought a Nol Silver transport card, and went to my hotel, which took about an hour to get to without transfers. You can get an idea of the ultra-modern Dubai Metro, which operates without drivers, from the following video:

Ride the Dubai Metro

From Dubai Internet City to Mall of the Emirates

I’m also posting the metro map:

The cost of the trip depends on the distance: from the airport to the hotel it cost 7.5 AED, the minimum cost was 3 AED. This card can also be used to travel by bus and tram. But to ride the monorail along Palm Jumeirah, you will need to buy a separate ticket, which costs 25 AED round-trip. You can also use the Nol card to take a regular bus to Abu Dhabi.

It’s better not to change dollars at the airport, because the exchange rate there is unfavorable, plus they charge a commission. It’s better to do this in UAE Exchange exchangers, this is what they look like:

They are found in many shopping centers and subway lobbies.

The UAE has a huge expat population, mostly from Asia, which is why English is the main language spoken in the UAE. Almost everyone here speaks English, even Arabs, perhaps with the exception of Russian and Chinese tourists (which is why organized tourism is so popular among them). The difficulty is that all these people from Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Thailand, Pakistan and India speak English with accents, and for an inexperienced Russian ear it can be very difficult to understand at first what they are saying to you. You have to ask again several times until you get it.

Having safely reached the hotel and checked into the room, I discovered that although the room was double, it was prepared for one person: one bottle of water, one teaspoon on the table (although there were two mugs). Plus, the shower didn’t work, I had to call the reception and call a repairman, fortunately he fixed everything, and the sheets had holes. Overall, the impression of the room was satisfactory - Holiday Inn Express fully lived up to its name.

After resting a bit, I went to explore the surroundings. As it turned out, there were many different cafes nearby, which I was very happy about, because the only food at the hotel was breakfast. Having tried several, I can immediately recommend two small chain cafes:

where they serve pizzas and salads in huge portions (average bill 100 AED for two),

and London fish&chips -

Mall of the Emirates from inside

It should be noted that I liked this shopping gallery more than others in Dubai. It is easy to navigate, it is quite spacious, there is no such crowd as in the Dubai Mall and there is a Carrefour hypermarket.

The closest beach to it is Jumeirah beach, which is a 15-minute walk from the metro.

Forward to Burj Al Arab

Across the road from the beach there is a small shady park where you can relax with children, and next to the bus stop they sell freshly prepared delicious ice cream, and the seller there is a Russian-speaking girl - be sure to check it out.

The Dubai tram makes the same lasting impression as the metro:

Knowledge Village tram station

The train consists of 7 sections connected by a through passage. When entering a stop, do not forget to attach your Nol card to calculate the fare, and when exiting at a stop, you must attach the card again to write off the funds. Special employees are vigilantly monitoring this. You can take the tram to a small area of skyscrapers on the coast - Dubai Marina. You need to come here at night, because with the onset of dusk this area comes to life.

Here you can leisurely stroll along the promenade along the canal, ride on Dou boats, swim to the other side on a water bus, wander around the Marina Mall and, of course, take unforgettable photographs.

Of course, the main attraction of Dubai is the tallest structure ever built by man - the Burj Khalifa skyscraper. It is impossible to visit Dubai without at least once going up to the observation deck of this engineering marvel.

But still, the main highlight of the center of Dubai is the dancing fountain! It was he who made an indelible impression on me:

The Dubai Fountain - Con te partirò (Time to Say Goodbye)

The feeling from it cannot be conveyed either by photography or video - it needs to be felt personally.

But what can really disappoint you is the aquarium in the Dubai Mall. You can admire it from the shopping gallery; it’s definitely not worth buying a ticket to take a photo in the tunnel under it. The ticket will also take you to the top deck of the aquarium, where they will show you how the fry are bred and the fish are fed. Even higher is a small zoo.

For more reasonable money, it is better to visit the Moscow Oceanarium at VDNH; you will be much more impressed.

The next day I had a water park planned. And not some Wild Wadi, but himself. Although after visiting the water park I somewhat regretted my choice, I still had to take Wild Wadi. I bought my ticket in advance, so I couldn’t guess the weather: although it was sunny, it wasn’t very hot, about +22.

From my hotel you can walk along the tram tracks to the monorail to Palm Jumeirah. You need to buy a ticket for the monorail separately; this attraction costs 25 AED round trip, and on the way back the ticket will be taken away from you, so you won’t even be able to keep it as a souvenir. The trip itself lasts 5 minutes, if you are interested, you can watch the video.

Monorail ride on Palm Jumeirah

The train arrives at the station located in the water park itself, the entire territory is visible on the right hand:

Aquaventure water park area

Because of this, it is tempting to go right at the exit. But there is only a parking lot there for buses. To get to the water park, you need to turn left and go in the direction of the hotel. By the way, there is also a stop for Big Bus excursion buses. On the way to the water park you will come across quite a few boutiques, as well as this wonderful gold vending machine:

Would you like some gold to go?

You need to show the ticket purchased and printed in advance to the girl at the entrance, then you won’t have to stand in line at the ticket office, she will immediately indicate where to go. It turns out that in this water park a locker is not included in the price of admission (very strange, however). You can take one for two, a locker costs 40 AED. You will have two bracelets on your hands: one for the entrance, the other for the locker. Make sure that they are well glued, because during skating the bracelet may tear (which actually happened to me, fortunately I noticed it in time and prevented the loss of the bracelet). Also, you don't necessarily have to go to the nearest locker room to the left of the entrance, which may be packed. There are also changing rooms at the far end of the water park, you can easily walk there along the paths, and at the same time explore the water park.

Of course, the biggest impression is made by the slide "": you slide down at an angle of 75 degrees from a height of 28 m and fly in a pipe under a pool with sharks. At the top there is usually a queue of the same daredevils as you. It is there, at the top of Neptune's tower that fear begins to creep through you...

Another test awaits the most reckless and fearless in the farthest corner of the water park - the Poseidon Tower.

Tower of Poseidon

Having climbed to the very top, you will find two capsules that will shoot you almost vertically down - this is “Poseidon’s Revenge”. I am attaching a short video, not filmed by me, solely to demonstrate the process:

Poseidon's Revenge Atlantis Dubai

After watching this video I wanted to ride the slide again!

Otherwise, the water park offers a relaxed relaxation in the hot sun. The downside of my visit was that it was cold. The water in the slides and in the main river was not heated; after half an hour, teeth began to chatter in the water.

When going to the UAE, I decided to definitely visit the Sheikh Zayed Mosque in Abu Dhabi. You can get to the capital of the Emirates by regular buses, one of which - E100 - comes from the center of Dubai, and the other, more convenient for me, - E101 - from the Ibn Batuta metro station. By the way, at this metro station there is also an interesting shopping center - Ibn Batuta Mall. It is interesting because it consists of halls decorated to resemble the countries visited by the great Arab traveler Ibn Batuta, after whom the station is named.

Ibn Batuta Mall, Egyptian Hall

Ibn Batuta Mall, Chinese hall

Payment on the bus is made using Nol cards, a one-way ticket costs 25 AED, so make sure that you have 50 dirhams on the card (the card is applied at the beginning of the trip and at the end, at the exit). It takes an hour and a half to get to the capital of the emirates, and it is advisable to get up early.

You arrive at the bus station, whose interior is very similar to its counterparts in Russia, especially for the restroom.

To move around the city by public transport, you need to buy a separate card; Nol is not valid in Abu Dhabi. It is possible to buy a temporary card right at the station, which costs 2 AED and put at least 10 AED on it. A trip from the bus station to the mosque will cost 2 dirhams one way.

When leaving the bus station, an unpleasant surprise awaited me - a police patrol stopped me and asked me to show my Emirates ID. During a long conversation with law enforcement officers, I was asked to show my passport, visa, or their electronic versions on my phone. To be honest, I didn’t take any documents with me on the trip, so I frantically rummaged through my phone. The impression of the capital of the Emirates was completely spoiled. Therefore, dear travelers, do not repeat my mistake. Carry a printed visa and a copy of your passport with you.

The difficulty of moving around Abu Dhabi by public transport is that the stops are not marked on any map, even Google does not know about the Abu Dhabi bus network. But near the bus terminal at the stop there is a schedule and a picture of a mosque with a caption that we need route 54. You need to exit from the western side of the mosque (a stop named after a hospital).

The mosque is truly magnificent: a huge courtyard, the largest carpet in the world and amazingly beautiful chandeliers are amazing.

After visiting the mosque, I took a Big Bus Tours ticket and headed towards Yas Island because I wanted to see the Ferrari theme park. Now I understand that I shouldn’t have done this, because there was half a day left and it would have been better to take this bus to the city center. Or, if you really wanted to see the theme park, you should just take a taxi, it would be cheaper.

By the way, Big Bus Tours buses also run around Dubai; a ticket for the whole day costs about 260 AED. If you have a free day, I recommend a bus tour of the city, especially since the audio guide includes Russian.

Another place worth visiting in Dubai is the Global Village exhibition and entertainment complex. You can get to it from Union metro station by bus 103, the fare will cost 10 AED.

The complex opens at 16:00 and is open until 1 am.

For citizens of the Russian Federation, a visa to the UAE is issued upon arrival free of charge. The period of stay in the UAE should not exceed 30 days. The passport must be valid for at least 6 months. To obtain a visa on arrival, each child must have his own passport.

The United Arab Emirates is a sparkling mirage among the hot dunes of the Arabian Peninsula. Every tourist will find a dream come true here. Thirsty for vitamin Sea - sunny beaches near the azure waters of the Persian and Oman Gulfs. Seekers of extreme entertainment - diving with sharks, jeep racing in the desert and racing cars on the Formula I track. Connoisseurs of oriental exoticism - sheikhs' palaces, luxurious mosques. And shopaholics - giant megamalls, gold bazaars, markets with carpets and ceramics.

Living like a fairy tale, the richest country of the UAE is by no means limited to ultra-modern Dubai and the “Arab New York” of Abu Dhabi with skyscrapers piercing the clouds. Sharjah - The cultural capital of the Arab world, a museum treasure. Fuigera has a truly beautiful nature with green oases, waterfalls and mountain landscapes. Ras Al Khaimah was home to some of the world's largest and most stunning pearls, and today you can immerse yourself in this fascinating process.

Beach tours in the UAE

A comfortable beach holiday on the Emirate’s shores occurs from the end of September to May. In summer, the air temperature in the UAE exceeds + 40 C° in the shade, and the water is + 35 C° - you won’t be very refreshed. When coming on beach tours for the New Year holidays, tourists often swim in hotel pools, because... the sea cools to + 17…19 C°. Air + 24 C° - like in Moscow summer.
UAE beaches - with delicate white or golden sand, gentle entrance to the sea. In Dubai and Abu Dhabi it is the calmest. There are waves in Sharjah, Ras Al Khaimah and Ajman. Beaches can be owned by hotels (free for their guests), public (with local residents and strict prohibitions) and club beaches with paid entrance. You can easily spend the whole day in the latter. For example, Jumeirah Beach Park in Dubai has a lush green park with hills and plains, well-kept lawns for picnics, barbecue areas, restaurants, cafes, playgrounds and a beach area with sun loungers and umbrellas, showers and changing rooms. Entrance is only 5 dirhams. Hotel beaches, even in Sharjah, allow you to wear open swimsuits. If you live far from the coast, a daily transfer to the sea is organized.

Traveling with children

For families with children, it is preferable to buy family tours to 4*-5* hotels with their own beaches. Transfer to the coast from a city hotel can be tiring. Which emirate to choose? With a high budget that allows the first line - Dubai, because... There are plenty of children's activities here that will amaze the imagination. Children will appreciate the world's largest aquarium, oceanarium, theme parks with Marvel and Jurassic characters, and the Wild Wadi water park. Sharjah is advantageous not only because of its proximity to the airport, but also because of the large number of budget hotels right on the shore. And the entertainment of Dubai is just a stone's throw away. Fujairah has a cleaner Arabian Sea and a calmer environment. And when the heat in Sharjah is unbearably hot, it is cooler here by 3-4 degrees thanks to the Hajar Mountains. At the same time, in winter it is a little warmer here. Family hotels in Fujairah are similar to hotels in Egypt, with large areas, animation and all-inclusive. Ras al-Khaimah has ideal conditions for holidays with infants and small children, “All inclusive”, there is a children's menu. When choosing tours to the UAE, avoid three months of unbearably hot summer.

Excursion tourism

What to see in the UAE, besides the Burj Khalifa skyscraper, Sheikh Zayed Mosque and the Dubai Aquarium? The garden city of Al Ain in eastern Abu Dhabi. These are the real Emirates, not the tourist ones. There are several museum complexes, eight forts and numerous gardens and parks. The city was built among the waters of oases. Abu Dhabi invites you to a living museum - an ethnographic Heritage Village with a traditional Bedouin settlement. It’s wildly interesting: tents made of goat hair, an old fish market, fireplaces with coffee pots. The eastern market is open on Fridays. Excursion tours to the island of Sir Bani Yas, covered with mangrove forests and pristine beaches, invite you to the Arabian Wildlife Park, where ten thousand animals live in natural conditions. In Ras al Khaimah, where people have lived for seven thousand years, the Pearl Farm and the National Museum in the former royal palace deserve special attention. In Sharjah, it is worth visiting the Museum of Islamic Civilization, the Museum of Fine Arts with a rich collection of modern Arab art.

Leisure

UAE knows how to make your heart beat faster and your eyes light up with delight! Fans of speed and grace can visit the Arabian horse racing, as well as watch camel racing. Go on an exciting night crab hunt the ancient way - with harpoons, waist-deep in water. Take a flight in a huge hot air balloon over the desert! Try sandboarding and sand skiing. A desert safari with barbecue includes a dashing jeep race through the dunes and dinner in a Bedouin camp with a show program. Sheikhs love falconry for small game. Worth a try! In Dubai, you can suddenly find yourself on a snow-covered ski slope or in an underwater abyss with scuba gear surrounded by sharks. And in Abu Dhabi - in a real car on the Formula I track. In Fujairah - on a frisky surf, fishing or wearing a snorkeling mask near the coral reefs. By the way, Fujairah is the only emirate with access to the Arabian Sea of the Indian Ocean.

Youth tours

Exciting holidays are promised by tours for young people in the UAE with a holiday in Dubai. Here, unlike neighboring Sharjah, alcohol is allowed in hotels, bars and restaurants. However, you should behave with restraint on the streets. The best area for an unforgettable holiday will be Jumeirah, where there are youth hotels and the Wild Wadi water park, beaches with music and fun companies, nightclubs with excellent DJs. The Bur Dubai area is home to a lot of entertainment venues and affordable hotels. The doors of clubs and bars are open in Dubai even on holy holidays. To visit the nightlife of Dubai, you will have to dress decently, leaving your beach flip-flops and shorts at the hotel. As a rule, entrance to discos is paid. There are discounts and bonuses for women. Youth tours to Dubai will become even brighter if you add active sports to the stormy nights - water sports, skiing or in the desert sands.

In our article we will look at different options for a good place to relax in the UAE. Let us note that the United Arab Emirates is a state of contrasts. Here you can meet very handsome men in national costumes who drive a Bentley studded with diamonds. At the same time, builders living in slums walk along the same streets, exhausting themselves with hard work. In the United Arab Emirates, unimaginable luxury borders on deep poverty. Therefore, you need to carefully choose a place to go on vacation in the UAE. In our article we will look at different resorts and tell you why it is good to spend a vacation there.

Seasons in the UAE: when is the best time to go to this country?

Before we start talking about where it’s good to vacation in the UAE, we’ll tell you about the time of year when it’s best to go to this country. This state has a dry subtropical climate. It almost never rains here. From about May until September, the emirates experience unbearable heat. Therefore, if you are thinking about where it is better to vacation in the UAE in August (peak holidays in Russia), be prepared for high temperatures.

The period from May to September (inclusive) is considered not a particularly good time for a holiday in this country. In summer, the air temperature rises to +50°C in the shade. This indicator is worth paying attention to those who have heart problems, or families going on vacation with children. If we talk about the positive aspects of holidays in the period from May to September, then these are low prices for tours and a warm sea.

The peak season in this country is between October and November. During this period, the daytime temperature is already approximately +30°C degrees. At the same time, prices for vacations during this period of the year are the highest.

Those who are thinking about where to go on holiday in the UAE in February will be interested to know that the cost of travel packages decreases from December to March. At the same time, the air temperature is lower: only about +25°C. The water also cools down during this period. But for many vacationers, the cold snap is not critical. Therefore, beach holidays do not lose their relevance almost all year round.

Already in April, the heat gradually begins to return to the United Arab Emirates, the temperature rises to plus thirty degrees. With this indicator, prices for tours are also rising.

Where is a good place to relax in the UAE? All seven emirates are great. Vacationers in the UAE can satisfy any of their needs. Next, we will talk about the most popular and sought-after tourist destinations.

Amazing and modern Dubai - a great place to spend your holidays

Where is the best place to relax in the UAE? In reviews, many tourists write that it is worth going to Dubai. This is a fairly modern and progressive region of the country. This emirate is divided into eleven districts. Each of them will be interesting for travelers with its own characteristics. Next, we will look at the popular areas of this emirate.

What's there to see in Jumeirah?

This popular area of Dubai is home to some of the best hotels. It is the center of beach holidays in the UAE. This luxury resort is adjacent to the famous Palm Jumeirah archipelago. It is an artificial island in the shape of a palm tree, which protects an eleven-kilometer sand crescent from the waves. The “trunk” was occupied by various restaurants and shopping centers, and the villas of famous people were located on seventeen “leaves.” The “crescent” houses elite hotels from leading international chains.
