According to the story, after you find Kasumi, she will ask you to investigate. Also, after a conversation with DiMa, the quest Find Your Place will open. According to it, you have to hack Faraday’s terminal, take the program, and then go to the Core, to the Core control room (entrance at the very top of the Children of the Atom faction headquarters) in order to study DiMa’s memories and complete 5 puzzles. Go through the Core Control location to the end, and in the last room you will find a large computer.

After solving the last 5th puzzle, a task (Miscellaneous) will appear to find three containers with marine armor. If you select this task as active in Pip-Boy, all three points will be displayed on the map. They are underwater.

Features of Marine Corps armor

Helmets for Zealot and Assault armor have the same properties: they provide +19 damage resistance and electricity protection and +10 radiation resistance. They weigh 14 pounds and cost 90 caps each.

Other parts of Fallout 4 have slight differences.

Thus, the Zealot armor body gives +38 damage and shock resistance, weighs 19 pounds and costs 150 caps. The right and left sleeves each give +17 damage resistance and electricity protection, weigh 10 pounds each, and cost 100 caps. Legs add +18 to both, weigh 10 pounds, cost 115 caps.

All parts of the assault set each provide +10 radiation protection. Zealot armor does not protect against radiation.

Recon armor in Fallout 4 has legendary features:

Where to find Marine Corps armor

Marine armor sets are obtained by completing quests in various locations in Fallout 4. You can also buy them from merchants or find them yourself.

In Fallout 4, the easiest way to get the Zealot set. During the expansion you will meet the Children of Atom faction. To join them, you need to pass a test, after which you will have access to the headquarters and the opportunity to visit local merchants. Of these, you need Brother Kane. Kane sells all items of the Zealot armor set, except for the helmet. It can be temporarily replaced with a tactical helmet of the Marine Corps (purchased there).

Assault armor can be obtained by completing story quests in the Far Harbor DLC. You need to find Kasumi, who will ask you to investigate. After talking with DiMA, the quest “Find Your Place” will appear. Completing tasks in this Fallout 4 quest takes you to the Core control room, where you solve puzzles and study the character's memories. After solving the puzzles, you will be given the task of finding containers with Marine Corps armor. All containers are underwater. All that remains is to open them and collect the equipment.

One of DiMA's old memories that we retrieved from the Core in the quest "Best Not Remembered" mentioned that the local marines had modern models of combat armor. On the day the bombs fell, several sets of such armor were being transported to the submarine base. If the packages remain sealed, the armor should be in perfect condition. The coordinates of the armored cargo were also included in the memory. The current quest is considered a quest from the “Miscellaneous” section.

In total, you need to find three containers scattered at different ends of the island. However, all containers are under water, so you should be prepared.

• Power armor is suitable for short stays under water (2-3 minutes). It has a fairly decent supply of oxygen, but not an endless one. When you start to choke, you will only be saved by constant restoration of health with stimulants and food. It happens like this: you restore your health - the arrow creeps toward plus, and then immediately quickly drops to minus. The disadvantage of power armor underwater is that you can only move sooooo slowly.

• Swampweed cake is a dish that allows you to breathe underwater for 30 minutes.

Now let's move on to the location of the armor.

One container is located near Rayburn Point and the DiMA Cache, on the western edge of the island. The sealed armor box is in a large red container, and inside:

• Marine Armor Assault Helmet;
• Marine Corps Tactical Helmet;
• Lead Marine Assault Armor;
• Marine wetsuit.

The armor containers are the same - a green military chest with a star on the lid.

The second container is located near the Children of the Atom Sanctuary and Haddock Cove, at the southwestern edge of the map. You will find a sealed box with armor on a sunken ship in the cargo compartment, and inside there will be:

• Marine assault armor for left leg;
• Marine assault armor for the right leg.

On the same ship on the second level you will find a wooden box with medicines and 2 boxes with explosives.

The last container remained, which sank near the Azalea and Grand Harbor Hotel locations, at the southeastern edge of the map. In him:

• Marine assault armor for the left hand;
• Marine assault armor for the right hand.

Marine assault armor is the best armor in Fallout 4, not counting power armor, of course. You can only find it on the island in the Far Harbor add-on. The only exceptions are unique items of this armor, the performance of which is slightly higher - reconnaissance armor of the Marine Corps. You can purchase them from merchants of different factions (Koga from Acadia, sister May and Kane from the Children of the Atom, for example)
