The group “Brilliant” was created in 1994 by producers Andrei Grozny and Andrei Shlykov. The first composition of the group looked like this: Olga Orlova, Polina Iodis, Varvara Koroleva.

The debut album of "Brilliant" was released in 1997. It was called the same as the first song with which they appeared before the audience - “There, only there.” Immediately after the release of the first album, Varvara Koroleva left the group. She is replaced by two participants at once: Zhanna Friske and Irina Lukyanova. In the same year, the album of remixes “There, Only There” (remixes) was released.

In 1998, “Brilliant” released the album “Simply Dreams”. Polina leaves the group, and in 1999 Ksenia Novikova joins the group.

In 2000, the album “About Love” was released, followed by “White Snow”. In the same year, due to family circumstances, lead singer Olga Orlova, the author of many Blestyashchie songs, left the group. Yulia Kovalchuk becomes a new participant.

In 2002, the album “Beyond the Four Seas” was released. In 2003, Irina Lukyanova left for the same family reasons as Orlova did: the singer was expecting a child. Instead of the former gymnast Irina, Anya Semenovich, master of sports in figure skating, appears in the lineup. After the release of the eighth album “Orange Paradise” in 2003, the brightest and most graceful soloist of the group, Zhanna Friske, left the group. Zhanna begins a solo career with her former producers. And Nadya Ruchka comes to her place on April 1, 2004.

At the beginning of 2007, Anna Semenovich began a solo career, and the producers took Anastasia Osipova in her place. Yulianna has been practicing ballroom dancing for more than 10 years and has repeatedly become a finalist at the Russian Championships. In 2005, she took first place at the prestigious international tournament “Black pool” in England.

"Brilliant" is a female pop group. It was founded in 1995 by Andrei Shlykov and Andrei Grozny. This is one of the first girls' musical groups in Russia. Over two decades, its composition has undergone many changes. The group "Brilliant" will be discussed in our article.

Original line-up (1995-1998)

In 1995, the producer and composer of the group "MF 3" Andrey Grozny, together with his friend, Andrey Shlykov, decided to create a women's group. They found the first soloist right away. She turned out to be young. Later, the girl invited her old friend to the group - the third member of the group was Varvara Koroleva, a dancer. Then the group "Brilliant", whose composition was finally determined, recorded the first single. It was called "There, Only There". After the release of the album of the same name in 1996, “Brilliant” went on their first tour.

First changes (1999-2000)

Varvara was the first to leave the group. Irina Lukyanova took her place in March 1996. Some time later, Zhanna Friske appeared in the team. At first she was the artistic director of the group. Later, the producers decided to take a fourth soloist and offered this place to Zhanna. In May 1997, the girl starred with the rest of the group in the video "Flowers". Since then, she has become a full member of the musical group. The girls themselves jokingly called the changes in the group “brilliant.” And they were right. Over the course of two years, they shot several bright videos (“Cha-cha-cha”, “Clouds”, “Where are you, where”) and achieved enormous popularity. However, this did not end the changes that the “Brilliant” group underwent. Its composition changed at the end of 1998, when Polina Iodis left to devote herself to her family.

New reshuffles (2001-2003)

In 1999, in August, a new soloist appeared in the group - Ksenia Novikova. Her arrival was marked by the appearance of new songs: “Ciao, bambina”, “Winter will come after autumn”. Later, the music album “About Love” and the collection of the best compositions “White Snow” were released. In 2000, Olga Orlova left the team due to pregnancy. In her absence, Zhanna Friske became the leader of the group. This ambitious girl soon (in 2001) launched a solo project, but continued to work in the group. Soon the charming Yulia Kovalchuk joined the team. Another pretty blonde has joined the "Brilliant" group. Photos of the girls appeared on the pages of famous glossy publications.

In 2003, this group was recognized as one of the brightest Russian musical projects. However, Irina Lukyanova soon left the group. She worked as a soloist for seven years. The girl was replaced by former figure skater Anna Semenovich. The "Brilliant" group, whose lineup was replenished with a new bright member, recorded the song "Orange Song" and shot a video for it. In the summer of 2003, Zhanna Friske left the team. In December of the same year, the group “Brilliant” was photographed for FHM magazine. The further fate of the group (2004-2009)

Until the spring of 2004, Anna, Yulia and Ksenia worked together. Then they got a new colleague - Nadezhda Ruchka. The debut of this soloist took place in the video "New Year's Song". With the updated lineup, the girls recorded several new singles, released a new album, “Oriental Tales,” in January 2006, and shot two bright videos. One of them (the song even displeased the chairman of the Islamic Committee of Russia, Heydar Jamal.

In 2007, in March, Anya Semenovich went on a solo swim and left the group. She was replaced by a young girl. The group "Brilliant" re-recorded the single "Agent 007" with her. The composition of the team in this version did not last long. After a couple of months, the girl left and was replaced by a new soloist, Natalya Friske. It was presented to the public in 2007, on October 4, at a prestigious music award. In the summer of the same year, another member appeared in the group - Natalia Asmolova. She lasted only three months due to disagreements with the producers of Brilliant. At the end of 2007, Yulia Kovalchuk’s contract with the group expired. The girl did not extend it.

At the beginning of 2008, to replace the departing Yulia Kovalchuk and Natalia Friske, the producers chose new soloists - Anna Dubovitskaya (dancer) and Nadezhda Kondratyeva (singer and model). However, Nadya did not work in a team. In June 2008, Yulianna Lukasheva took her place.

Latest changes (2009-2014)

In 2009, in mid-November, Yulianna Lukasheva announced her resignation. At the Golden Gramophone, the musical group presented an updated line-up with In 2010, in January, Blestyaschiye recorded the single “Ball”, and later shot a video for it. In November of the same year, the group presented the song "Morning". At the beginning of the summer of 2011, the legendary participant, Ksenia Novikova, returned to the team. "Brilliant" immediately recorded a new single, "Love". In October 2011 I left due to pregnancy. On November 11, 2014, the debut broadcast of the video for the song “Lose” took place on the RU.TV channel. In the summer of 2015, Anastasia Osipova left the group. Her “experience” in the team is 8 years. In the fall, the song “I kept flying” received the Golden Gramophone Award, and Ksenia Novikova informed the producers that after the New Year she was leaving the group.
The group presented the single “Brigade of Painters” with an updated line-up. Now they are Nadezhda Ruchka, Silvia Zolotova, Marina Berezhnaya and Kristina Illarionova.

Popular Russian female pop group.

Probably the brightest group in the history of the Russian pop industry, “Brilliant,” began its existence almost 20 years ago, back in 1995. The team consisted of three soloists - Olga Orlova, Polina Iodi and Varvara Koroleva. Already in the first year of its existence, the debut single “” was recorded.

A year later, the first album “There, Only There” was released, but the further fate of the group was darkened by Varvara’s departure right before the tour. In her place they take Irina Lukyanova and with this composition the girls will travel all over Russia. The newly appointed artistic director of the group very quickly becomes its member, marking the “golden age of the group” in its most stable composition. The videos “” and “Cha-cha-cha”, performed and filmed by this cast, quickly make the group incredibly popular and bring recognition from the public. But, alas, less than a year later Polina left the group for family reasons.

A year later, in 1999, Ksenia Novikova joined the group. The songs “” and “” are recorded with her participation. The video for the last song was considered too erotic and was even removed from rotation for a while. However, the group was not destined to perform with one lineup for a long time - Olga Orlova, who hid her pregnancy, left with a scandal. She is even cut out of the video for the song "". But in the album “About Love”, released the same year, her voice is still heard.

With Olga's departure, Zhanna's leadership participation in the group noticeably increases, becoming the most prominent soloist. The composition of the group is being supplemented, with which songs will be sung and videos will be shot - “And I still flew”, “Over the Four Seas” (an album of the same name was also recorded). Soon, new changes await the group, and former figure skater Anna Semenovich takes the place of Irina, who left due to pregnancy. The new line-up was featured in the single and video “Orange Song”. Alas, Zhanna, busy at that time in many other projects, soon decides to leave the group and start a solo career.

Nadezhda Ruchka becomes the new soloist. The changed composition worked fruitfully during 2005-2007, giving rise to hits - “Palms in Pairs” and “Oriental Tales”, which are long remembered by the viewer for their joyful sunny atmosphere.

Over the next couple of years, the group was plagued by constant lineup changes, which negatively affected both creativity and the mood of the public. In addition, strong competition from many other female groups leads to the fact that the Brilliant cease to interest the public as before. But who hasn’t been among them... After Yullina Lukashina’s arrival, the group finally manages to record the successful songs “Odnoklassniki” and “You Know, Darling.”

A year later, the composition of the group changes again - the star of Marina Berezhnaya rises, with whom the group records the singles “Ball” and “Morning”, for which videos will soon be recorded. There are a lot of rumors in the press about the upcoming album, but Blestyashchie are in no hurry to please fans.

In 2011, Ksenya Novikova returned to the group, giving the Brilliant a new breath and a new song “Love”. Regular changes in the lineup, however, do not interfere with the recording and rotation of videos for the songs “My Darling,” “From What,” and “Green Eyes.” To this day, the group exists consisting of Ksenia Novikova, Nadezhda Ruchka, Anastasia Osipova and Marina Berezhnaya. The brilliant ones not only continue to exist, but also delight the public with new achievements.
