All young girls and boys love to go to clubs, have fun and relax, but there are those who do not know how to dance at all or are embarrassed to do so. How to quickly learn to dance? I think many people have asked this question. So, there are 3 very simple rules.

Rule one: to learn how to dance in clubs, you can watch videos on YouTube.

But it would be much better to visit some dance studio (again, Solo Dance Studio), at least once. There are many cool trends there, for example: twerk, hip-hop, break-dance, ballroom dancing, strip dancing, rock and roll and many others. You can choose one thing, or you can attend one lesson of each direction in order to quickly master the dance world - rest assured that the trainers will help, show, explain, and most importantly, relieve you of embarrassment.

Rule two: Do not be shy! Dance like no one is watching.

Dance for your own pleasure, if a guy/girl comes up to you, join in the dance with him, rock with all your heart.

As Vanya Dorn said, not being shy is a very important aspect of dance. The main thing is to try it, and then everything will go like clockwork.

Rule three: Smile when you dance! This way you will win the person over, and he will be drawn to your good mood.

Rule four: Feel confident! Confidence is the main weapon of both girls and guys. Confident people are always in the center of attention and know how to position themselves correctly. The better you feel at the party, the more admiring glances you will receive. Remember this!

Is it difficult to learn to dance?

It's really no more difficult than anything you're new to. Dance styles are very different from each other. Even if you have mastered one of them, it will be unusual for you to do the other.

However, all dances are associated with the ability to control your body. And if this is not new to you (for example, you have been involved in martial arts, gymnastics, swimming, and even more so dancing), it will be easier for you to adapt to new movements than for a beginner who is not friends with his body.

Even if you have a rather wooden body, you should not despair. The secret of success is constant practice.

Learning to dance from video lessons is more difficult than from courses. If your body is flexible and obedient, you can still do something similar to the movements of the instructor from the video. If not, you can quickly become disappointed in dancing: the difference between what is shown in the video and what you see in the mirror will be too strong.

Still, it's worth a try. At least in order to decide on the right one.

How many times a week do you dance?

At first, after exercising, your muscles may ache. But, unlike strength training or running, the body does not require a recovery period.

Therefore, you can safely practice dancing all the time. One of my teachers said that you need to dance 25 hours a day. In any case, the more you dance, the more noticeable your progress will be.

How to learn to dance modern dances

From this direction we have chosen three types that can often be found in the schedules of fitness clubs and dance schools. And the first is plastic and incredibly beautiful contemporary art.

Next, look for your favorite video lessons on the Internet or buy a CD with a video course. Don’t be lazy to find out more information about the course choreographer, since for home training it is important that he is a professional in his field. The main indicator of a good workout will be muscle pain. Don't let this scare you. It just means you worked hard on the dance and your time was well spent. With regular exercise, the pain will not be as severe.

Remember the main 4 components of effective training:

  • Warm up.
  • Practicing old movements.
  • Learning new movements.
  • Improvisation (implies free dance, which you build on the basis of the dance experience acquired during training).

You should start with basic movements and ligaments, so that the classes do not seem too complicated to you in the first couple. Try to follow the trainer’s instructions as clearly as possible, because only you can control the correctness of your movements during home lessons. Don't be discouraged if you don't do well at first. The key to success is constant practice. Train no more than 10 movements in combination until you perfect their execution.

Another important point is to hear the music. Try to get into its sound, catch the beat in which your movements should fall, and you will immediately feel more confident, and your movements will become more relaxed. As your skills develop, you can create your own combinations of individual movements to make your workout more intense and interesting.
