Yes, I have some inscriptions and small drawings that are very personal to me. I’m thinking about new tattoos, but I definitely won’t get one in the near future.

Do you plan to always be an artist? Or you see yourself in a completely different sphere through some years?

Do creative people choose who they want to be? It doesn't matter if you're a musician or an artist, it comes from within. This is not a technique, that is, you cannot program yourself to write new music or a painting. In projection it is real, but neither you nor your audience will like it. In addition to musical development, my inner development as a person is also important to me. I want to learn new languages ​​and see the world. Let's see where my life takes me...

Everyone still remembers your conflict with one of the bloggers, which happened several years ago. Then you came out of the situation very honorably. In general, how many times have you been hurt or offended in life?

I am a non-conflict person, I am quick-tempered, but I do not feed on bad energy. If I
I understand that I am wrong, then I will always find the strength to apologize. As a rule, if there were conflicts with someone, then after that we became good friends. It’s time to forget about the situation with the blogger long ago.

Childhood and youth

His childhood, according to the musician, was not at all rosy. The father left his mother, leaving her with two children (Eduard has a brother who is 1.5 years older), although he did not completely disappear from their lives - he saw his sons about once a month.

The young man did not see any prospects in the small town. There were two outlets in the teenager’s life: yard brawls with alcohol and cigarettes and rap, which Edward became interested in at the age of 15, inspired by the work of Waka Flocka Flame and Lil Jon. In his youth, he became friends with rapper Zippo and, according to him, went on tour with him.

Due to his broken lifestyle, Scrooge (although at that time he had a different pseudonym - Edos) studied poorly, changed two schools, skipped classes and could not appear at home for weeks. He started working early: he was a salesman, merchandiser, construction worker, and worked at a sawmill in neighboring Poland. Lines were constantly born in his head: during a work shift, at home, in the company of friends, they rhymed by themselves and formed into sharp, topical couplets.

Creation

Eduard's creativity impressed the judges, and soon Vygranovsky, together with Dana Sokolova and Klava Koka, began working under the venerable label. The guy, although he won the sympathy of the audience, was not among the winners, but Timati still decided to take him under his wing.

When asked about how he writes lyrics for his compositions, Scrooge replies that everything rhymes and is written regardless of himself.

When the first wave of popularity after the end of the show subsided, there was a slight lull in the career of the aspiring musician. But already in February 2016, Scrooge appeared with Sasha Chest, Mot and Timati in the video “Into Splinters”.

In April 2016, Eduard released his own video clip for the song “Smooth Road,” which was well received by fans. The rapper explained that the long corridor in his video symbolizes life. It seems to Scrooge that he is walking along this “corridor” correctly, looking back at the different “rooms” along the way.

In June 2016, Scrooge released a new video for the song “From Where I Am” and a mini-album with the same name. It included 7 compositions. Next came the single, which became incredibly popular among Black Star fans - the composition “Secret”, which the musician performed with singer Kristina Si. Soon a video was released for this song, and fans began to create numerous cover versions of the track.

In 2017, the musician released the track “Gogol. Start". The song was included in the official soundtrack of the film with the same name - a dark interpretation of the biography and works of the Russian classic, played by Alexander Petrov.

This was followed by the singles “Andante”, “Explosion in the Dark”, “Gogol” and “Rukalitso”. A video was recorded for the latter, in which many famous show business personalities starred: bloggers Max Brandt and Kostya Pavlov, singer Nathan, actress Natalya Rudova, comedian Garik Martirosyan and even producer Joseph Prigozhin.

This summer, the Malibu nightclub decided to present a real gift to lovers of the artists of the Timati music label. At the beginning of August, the series of concerts was continued by the young singer Kristina Si. A fragile girl at first glance with very extraordinary vocal abilities, presented her new program, some of the songs from which will be included in her debut album. In an interview for the site, she spoke frankly about her life, family and work to the delight of all fans.

G: I read a story about how you and your family lived in a circus for some time. Are you from a circus family?

Yes! My dad was a motorcycle racer in his youth. He performed in the circus - he rode a motorcycle inside a large iron ball. We also have our own zoo with animals, which still tours the country. Until I was 7 years old, I actually lived in a mobile home.

G: How do you like this nomadic life as an artist?

Yes cool! I’m like that myself, with a curiosity. And I easily find a common language with animals. Little monkeys were constantly born to us, and we also had a lion. By the way, I named him Simba. I really love the cartoon "The Lion King".

G: Your dad toured the country with the circus, and now you go on tour yourself. How do your parents feel about your touring activities?

Dad is very proud of me, but, of course, he’s worried. In general, my parents are happy for me because I am happy.

G: Do they easily let you go on tour?

Nobody even lets go. I'm just going to perform in another city, that's all. I am already 23 years old, I am an independent child.

G: Do your parents listen to your songs?

I don’t know... Maybe on the sly - yes. But so far I personally haven’t heard them play my songs at home. My father has always been an incentive for me to develop, because he never took my musical dream seriously. I have one dream - to do a big solo concert and invite him. He has never been to my performance before.

G: Many artists, in order to be noticed, send profiles to various vocal TV competitions. Have you ever submitted a form to such a competition?

Competitions are not about me at all. I worry very much when I participate in vocal competitions, and because of this I often get sick. I can't. I don't want to either. I had enough competitions as a child. When I lived in Tula, I studied in a music studio and constantly toured and participated in competitions. I even went to a vocal competition in Italy.

G: How did you get into the Black Star family?

After moving with my family to Moscow, I simply continued to make music. She posted songs on the Internet and participated in various events. Well, actually, it was on this basis that we became acquainted with the Black Star label. And I was offered to become part of it.

G: You came to Black Star even before Fidel appeared there. What was it like for you being the only girl “in the family”?

I don’t even know... The guys and I only have a working relationship. It's hard for me to find a common language with people. I just do my own thing and don’t really try to find a common language with anyone and make friends. So participation in the Black Star label is, first of all, work for me.

G: Not long ago you tried your hand at clothing design for Black Star Wear. Tell us about this experience.

The label's artists and I decorated the shorts. It was fun. I was all covered in paint :) We had a whole handmade day. There were a lot of us and it was a very interesting experience for me. By the way, these shorts can now be purchased on the official Black Star Wear website.

G: I see a tattoo of a cassette tape above your chest. How many tattoos do you have in total?

I have 3 of them in total. I recently got tattoos on my legs. On one leg is the Moon, on the other is the Sun. One foot in the Moon, the other in the Sun:) In fact, I don’t really want to get carried away with tattoos, because my dad won’t survive it:)

G: Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

I really hope that by this time I will be a wife.

G: What about creativity, touring?

I believe that one does not interfere with the other. You can have a family and at the same time also play music, organizing concerts, say, once every six months. Everything can be combined. The main thing is to find the right balance.

G: So you still don’t plan to go on tour often?

Of course not. While I'm young, I enjoy it. Later I think I will want a more stable life. But everything will be balanced!

G: There are many singles in your discography, ER`shek. When will your full-length big album be released?

Not long ago I finally started writing my own album! Can you imagine how many years I have been making music, but I don’t even have my own little album :) The release of my solo album is planned for October this year. A sufficient number of songs have already been written. The album will include not only already known tracks, but also those songs that I wrote a long time ago. And no one has heard them yet! So wait for autumn;) Now I’ll rest a little more, gain strength, and go on vacation. After that, I’ll actually start working on the album. So far, out of one hundred percent of my potential, I only use about forty percent.

G: Where will you go on vacation?

I want to go to Spain. It's cool there!

G: You have a musical education, you studied jazz vocals. Do you plan to sing jazz someday?

Certainly! Just when I get older, I will return to jazz. For me, jazz is expensive music. And you can’t do this in clubs. For now, I sing songs to make people relax and dance. And jazz is already serious music with meaning. Of course I'll come to this. But a little later.

G: What do you mean by the concept of “expensive music”?

This is music with taste. Bohemian. Music with meaning.

G: And you’re like that in furs and a long dress...

Oh, well, I'll drown in a long dress! :) But for me, jazz is a combination of all this... I can't even find the word! This is jazz. Just jazz. Music of the soul. In the meantime, I dance, sing and enjoy life with those who come to my performances in clubs.

In June 2015, Christina was invited to join the jury for the Just Dance dance competition. The singer actively tours Russia, giving concerts together with other musical groups in the capital's clubs.

It is even possible that there will be not one album, but two. The next clip will be called “Space”. Christina says in many interviews that she wants to sing jazz when she gets a little older. She believes that jazz music is the music of adults. Since it should not be perceived only as light music for entertainment. Depth, meaning and sensuality – that’s what jazz is.
