Gamora - the most underrated Russian rap? Biography of the group "Gamora" - Local rapper.

Songs performed in rap style evoke conflicting feelings among music lovers. This musical direction is more popular among today's youth, who grew up listening to Decl's texts. Rap appeared in the poor neighborhoods of America in the mid-70s and instantly captured the love of teenagers. There are not so many representatives who read real Russian rap. One of them is Seryozha Local. His surname is loud, but not popular among many. Let's tell you more about this guy.

Seryozha Local. Biography.Childhood

The rapper's real name is Fedorovich. He was born on June 19, 1989 in the town of Kirov. Sergei's childhood occurred during perestroika and shortages. The guy’s ancestors are far from music and pop art; they always found a better life. The boy was about eight years old when the family moved to Togliatti (Samara region). What remained behind were friends, ordinary life and my first childhood love. It was hard for the child to get used to the new town; he began to learn worse and was rude to his parents.

Seryozha Local’s biography as a musician began at the age of 14. The child encountered youthful true love, and this resulted in the first lyrics. At first he simply wrote poetry, but at some point he decided to read them in rap style. Among his classmates and friends in the yard, he found those who shared his interests in music and were ready to move mountains together.

"Burning" service

In 2006, the young man graduated from high school No. 14 in the town of Togliatti, but was unable to fully decide on his choice of profession. Dreams of popularity bounced around in his head, and his mother tried to grow up and think about the future. Many of his fellow rap artists have long stepped into adulthood. While the young man was wondering what to do next, a summons to the army came. Sergei firmly decided to give back to his homeland and served 18 months in the internal troops. The North Caucasus Military District, where the guy had to serve, was then considered a “hot spot.” This did not bother Private Fedorovich at all, because he never found easy ways.

After returning from the army, the biography of Seryozha Local was replete with new events. Until 2008, virtually no one knew the guy. After serving and returning home, he nevertheless decided to connect himself with music. But everything turned out to be not so simple.

First steps in rap direction

It was quite easy to find like-minded people; young people were enraptured by the new musical direction. Rap was listened to by everyone who was close to music that reflected reality. It was the dream of public fame that united six ordinary men living in the same town.

After a little rehearsal together, the men decided to form a group, which they dubbed “Course”. Seryozha Local, Alex Manifesto, Pavlik Farmaceft, Atsel Rj, Seryozha Lin and DOODA - this is the initial composition of the group. The title was promising, and at first everything went in their favor. The young men began performing in courtyards and at friends’ parties, and later word of mouth played a role. The creativity of the young men was seen, and then people were found who were ready to help promote their songs.

Serge Local. “Gamora.” Biography

In 2011, the men decided to rename the group. A new loud title has appeared - “Gamora”. Young people tried hard to achieve fame, but the path to fame, as is clear, is thorny. Having given away all the accumulations, they begin recording their own first real disc. The album “Times” appeared in the same year. A year later, the presentation of “EP No. 2” took place, which made a splash in the career of “Gamora”.

But it turned out that the biography of Seryozha Local took a sharp turn in the direction. In the summer of 2012, the Gamora group ended its existence. The young people quarreled (according to rumors, over funds) and the team broke up.

Single career

After such events, Sergei did not fall into depression, but began to perform solo. At first it was not out of habit, but soon the young man realized that everything went even better. He recorded many tracks together with Pavlik Farmaceft, Dj Benny and Ksana. At the beginning of 2013, the biography of Seryozha Mestny changed again. The thing is that he moved to Moscow, where he began working with TsAO Records on recording solo albums.

Some of his brightest songs include “Chalk of Fate”, “Musi-Pusi”, “Breath of the Streets”, “Poison”. They gained popularity thanks to clips close to reality that stir the soul. Young people accept Seryoga Local's tracks as an autobiographical story composed of rap lyrics.

Moments of truth

Songs on the topic of drug addiction in particular often appear in the guy’s albums. Some of them, for example, “Antokha” or “Paranoia,” are written as if the young man knows firsthand about the dilemmas of drug addicts.

It has long been clear that all the men performing in “Gamora” dabbled in marijuana. Young people, like many of their generation, believed that it helped to embody themselves and achieve relaxation after a grueling creative day. Some of them went further, while others had the strength to stop there. Fortunately, for Seryozha Local, this dangerous occupation did not interfere with self-realization and the fulfillment of his plans.

The biography of the Gamora group - this is said loudly, since the guys do not like to talk too much about their personal lives, even if it is just the past. However, the country is eager to know its idols and we tried to scrape together at least a little information about the group. At the moment it is known that in its original composition the group included six people. These were: Seryozha Local, Pavlik Farmaceft, Seryozha Lin, Alex Manifesto, Atsel Rj and DOODA. The group did not exist for long - about four years, releasing two full-length albums with the same lineup: Times, EP No. 2. After which, if we take into account the rumors that the earth is full of, the namesakes quarreled over money after the concert, and only the guys and God know what really happened. It often happens that the solo work of group members is even better than joint activity - take the Center group, for example. After the breakup, each of the guys, Ptah, Slim, and Guf, can afford to read whatever their heart desires, and my personal opinion is that the breakup stimulated the creativity of each of them. Time will tell how the guys from the now former group “Gamora” will fare, but Seryoga Local continues to delight with his new tracks. Seryoga Lin is also not a mediocrity and his joint album with Malik “Characters” and “Like Air” only proved this. Atsel also did not abandon creativity, releasing solo tracks in collaboration with a beatmaker calling himself T.A.E.B., now this tandem is called Lesta Taeb and their works can be found on VKontakte. Now a little about the biography of each... Sergei Aleksandrovich Fedorovich, known to us under the stage name Seryozha Local, was born on June 19, 1989 in the city of Kirov. Later, he moved for permanent residence with his parents to the city of Togliatti - the band’s hometown, which the guys in their tracks, by analogy with the American birthplace of cars, call Detroit or Autograd. Sergei began writing his first couplets at the age of 14. Not wanting to leave the army, he served for a year and a half in the Internal Troops, in the North Caucasus Military District, fulfilling his duty to the Motherland in a “hot spot”. It was after the service that he decided to get a noticeable tattoo on his forearms: “No sooner said than done.” After this period of life, together with the “guys from our yard,” the rap group “Kurs” was formed, with which the guys began more or less noticeable creativity, which was later promoted under the “Gamora” brand. As noted above, the group existed until 2012. After the breakup, little is known about the fate and work of the other guys from the group, except for the most notable of them: Seryozha Mestnogo and LIN. Which is a shame, since both the Pharmacist and the other guys normally lit up the stars on the rap horizon in their own unique style. Now Seryozha Local has moved to the capital to continue creating hits under the banner of Central Administrative District Records. Fortunately, Ptah and Slim have more than once helped talented guys from different countries, such as the Shimko brothers from the Bratubrat group. Seryoga's real surname LINa is unknown to us, and it is not needed if the person does not want it himself. The following can be said about him: he was born in the city of Togliatti on February 25, 1986. He studied at the 14th Secondary School of the city like many other members of the Gamora group. After graduating from school, he entered the Tolyatti Military Technical Institute, which he graduated in 2003 and began active music studies. It was Sergei who was the beat department in the group. You can form an opinion about the guys’ attitude towards drugs only from their tracks about this problem. It's safe to say that they all used marijuana, like many members of the generation. Which of them went further than grass - only they know, but the group’s tracks are imbued with an atmosphere of first-hand knowledge about drug addiction, especially Pavlik the Pharmacist shines with his knowledge in the field of drug addiction terminology. I hope that now none of them are stuck in this quagmire.

Seryozha Local began his solo career relatively recently. But this rapper is already well known to fans for his work in the team. The lyrics of Serezha’s songs reflect Russian realities without embellishment, as well as the inner world of the performer himself. In addition, Local often raises the topic of drugs in his work, which was also close to him at a certain period of his life. Now Seryozha Local is a serious musician, working under the guidance of the famous and “CAO”.

Childhood and youth

Seryozha Local (real name - Sergey Aleksandrovich Fedorovich) was born in the city of Kirov on June 19, 1989. The boy was eight years old when the family moved to Togliatti, Samara region. Considering that Sergei’s childhood occurred in the 90s and the devastation that followed the period of perestroika, the boy’s parents were immersed in the financial support of the family, and there was little time left to raise their son.

The move was not easy for Sergei: it was difficult for the boy to part with his friends, and the period of adaptation to the new city, school, teachers and classmates was even more difficult. Against this background, the boy’s relationship with his parents deteriorated and his performance at school decreased.

At the age of 14, Sergei met his first youthful love, which he successfully turned into the lyrical texts of future songs. Soon the guy found new friends and like-minded people with whom he rapped. However, time passed, the friends grew up, entered universities and began working as ordinary managers and economists. And only Sergei, who by that time had already graduated from school No. 14 in the city of Togliatti, was haunted by dreams of fame as a hip-hop artist.

Having received the certificate, the young man could not decide not only on the university, but even on his future profession. The parents insisted on getting a serious profession, and the son kept dreaming of the scene when a summons arrived to draft the guy into the ranks of the Russian army. Having served in the North Caucasus, Fedorovich matured and finally decided on what he wanted to devote his life to.

During his service in the armed forces, the young man matured, and his strong life principles were formed. The nature of the poems that Fedorovich continued to write even away from home also changed. In addition, a tattooed inscription appeared on the hand of the future musician, which read: “What’s said is done.”

Music

The real musical career of Seryozha Mestny began in 2008, when Fedorovich joined the group called “Course”. At first, the guys performed on the city streets and at friendly parties. Soon the work of “Course” attracted the attention of novice producers, and their songs became more and more popular.

In 2011, the group changed its name, now the team performed under the name “Gamora”. That same year, the guys recorded their debut album, “Times,” but it never brought popularity to the rappers. But a year later, in 2012, Gamora released the album EP No. 2, which became much more successful.

The group gave its first concerts in small provincial clubs, and performed as an opening act for more famous performers. But “Gamora” did not pass the test of fame. In the summer of 2012, a conflict arose in the team with one of its members, Seryoga Lin, related to the distribution of finances.

After the breakup of the group, Sergei took up a solo career and even recorded several songs together with more famous rappers - Dj Benny and others. But realizing that his opportunities in Togliatti were limited, the aspiring rapper moved to Moscow. The impetus for the move was a private conversation with a famous colleague from Moscow, Ptakha, who offered his help and cooperation to Fedorovich.

Already in 2013, Seryozha Mestny signed a contract with the recording studio “TsAO Records” and began work on creating his first full-fledged solo album. The rapper shot videos for a number of compositions, which were liked by the first fans of Fedorovich’s work. His early work was perceived by the public as a hip-hop adaptation of the biography of the artist himself.

A number of Seryozha Local’s songs touch on the topic of drug use, which is also popular in the works of other rappers. There is information in the media that all members of the Gamora team used marijuana to increase their creative potential.

In 2013, Local released his third album entitled “Alternately.” The tracks recorded as part of the album are characterized by deep bass and life-themed lyrics, but the author himself considers this work unsuccessful.

A few months later, Fedorovich released his next album, “Krugozor,” which is a collection of previously known songs and new compositions. Fans rated the album as catchy and original.

Then for three years the rapper toured the country with concerts in support of already released albums and was preparing to record the next one. But it was released only in 2016 and consisted of only six compositions, including the popular “City News.”

Personal life

Despite the autobiographical nature of the rapper’s work, Seryozha Local does not like to talk about his personal life. Once in an interview, he mentioned that he plans to get married when he reaches 27 years old, but so far the performer has not married.

And given that Fedorovich also doesn’t like to be photographed, photos that would tell fans about the rapper’s personal life are on his page in

The Gamora group was created in Togliatti in 2011. Initially, the rap group was called “Kurs”, but when the guys were noticed and accepted by the public, the guys decided to take a more sonorous and appropriate name - “Gamora”. We are talking here about Sodom and Gomorrah - the biblical cities. Gomorrah is a city of vice and sin that was destroyed for the sins of its inhabitants.

Compound

The original lineup included six guys - Seryozha Lin, Pavlik Farmaceft, Alex Manifesto, Atsel Rj and DOODA. The main ideological inspirers and frontmen of the group were Local and Lin.

The first composition of the group "Gamora"

Seryozha Local - Sergey Fedorovich. He began writing his first texts at the age of 13. Soon he managed to find like-minded people who shared his interests in rap.

Seryozha Lin – Sergei Makovsky. Even as a child, he became interested in music, at the age of 14 he began recording his first tracks, in 2008 he created the group “Kurs”, participated in the show “STS Lights a Star”, where he was singled out among the rest.

In July 2012, Gamora disbanded, and Local and Lin pursued solo projects. And although the guys at that moment did not comment on the reason for the dissolution of the team, they began to say on the Internet that it happened because of money. But, in principle, the financial issue often becomes the root cause of misunderstanding.

The new composition of the group "Gamora"

But in June 2016, the guys announced their reunion. Now the group includes four people - Local and Lin, as well as Pavlik Farmaceft and Alex Manifesto. They said that they plan to resume concert activities, start recording a new album and filming videos. This news was received with joy by the team's fans, but some did not believe in success. But, fortunately, they were mistaken: the guys, to confirm their serious intentions, released the song “Second Wind” and shot a video for it.

Music

The path to popularity was thorny. At first, the guys performed wherever they had to. Sometimes these were backyard venues, sometimes small regional rap festivals. In addition, parents did not particularly approve of this activity.

But the guys make high-quality music: sonorous beats, “boyish” lyrics and street philosophy. Therefore, the group soon gained a lot of fans who appreciated the deep meaning of their tracks.

To record their first album, “Times,” the guys had to gather all their finances and strength, but the result was decent. The album includes 9 tracks and 4 bonuses. Narkoz, Ksana, Baskil and Nikita Rusakov participated in the recording of the album.

In 2012, another Gamora album was released - EP No. 2. It contained 20 tracks, including a collaboration with.

This album was truly successful and it was this album that brought fame to the guys. But he also brought discord into the group. Soon the team members decided to go their separate ways. The group broke up. Afterwards they said that everyone simply wanted to assert themselves and realize themselves, and the time had come for solo projects. Everyone at that moment was in search of themselves, but no one gave up music.

In 2013, Seryozha Local was noticed by a member of the popular rap group CENTR. He invites him to Moscow and offers cooperation. Since then, Local has been working with TsAO Records.

From 2013 to 2017, Seryozha Mestny released four solo albums. In 2013, two records were released - “Alternately” and “Krugozor”. In 2016, a mini-album entitled “Seryozha Local - album 2016 live” was released. In April 2017, the album “36.6” was released, the recording included Ves (group “”), Artem Tatishchevsky, Papa Paradox. The name itself spoke for itself: the guy was fine - his temperature was normal.

But Lin didn’t sit idle either. He also became one of the members of the TsAO Records label. Immediately after the collapse of Gamora, he recorded the album “Personal Knives”, most of the songs were recorded with the participation of rapper Malik. Music critics described this work as “a rap that talks about the dark corners of life’s realities.”

In 2016, the guys decided to become a single team again. The group decided to keep their previous style, but in any case the tracks became more “adult”. In addition to music, the guys are interested in sports: The local loves football, Alex Manifesto is engaged in hand-to-hand combat, and in April 2016 he completed the candidate minimum.

Gamora now

In 2017, the group “Gamora” released a new album called “Load-bearing Walls.” It included 12 tracks. Also in 2017, three videos were shot: “Edy Allen”, “Notre musique” and “Sport town” with the participation of DJ 11"th cut.

The Gamora group in 2017

Immediately after the reunion, Gamora performed in her hometown of Tolyatti. In the summer of 2017, the group gave a concert in Moscow, and in September in St. Petersburg. There is no information about tours for 2018 yet.
