“Booking Machine” is a creative association of a new generation, where they develop original and uncompromising music. The basis of a modern label is a concert agency, a team of professional managers implementing a competent marketing policy.

In 2009, a successful businessman and creative guy Ilya Mamai organized the concert agency “Booking Machine”, which collaborated with Russian and foreign artists performing in the style of hip-hop and rap. According to Mamai, he was looking for selected, extraordinary performers who were ready to move mountains for the sake of success and popularity.

Ilya Mamai is confident that for high quality sound you no longer need to work hard for hours in a recording studio; it is enough to work hard on stage, captivating the listener and viewer. Signing a contract with the Booking Machine concert agency means joining a team of like-minded people who work like a well-coordinated mechanism.

Over the nine years of its existence, the creative association of Ilya Mamai has turned into a brand that does not require advertising.

In February 2017, the founder of the Booking Machine label appointed rapper Miron Fedorov, whom everyone knows as a rapper, as executive director. Thanks to his hot-tempered character, the rap artist managed to become famous not only for his hits and duets, but also for a series of high-profile scandals with his stage colleagues.

At the same time, Oxxxy is one of the few rappers with a higher education - an Oxford diploma. It was precisely because he was well-read and unlike other rappers of that time that the artist captivated listeners.

In August 2015, Miron presented the video “Londongrad”, which became the soundtrack to the Russian series of the same name. Oxxxymiron has repeatedly participated in “Versus Battle” rap duels and almost always emerged victorious.

The battle between Oksimiron and ST ended with a score of 3:0 in favor of Fedorov, he lost only to Slava CPSU, the battle with Gnoiny was incredibly memorable and was discussed even by those who were far from battle culture.

Booking Machine Artist Lineup

Several artists immediately leave the creative association Mamaia. Among them: Harry Topor, Tony Routh, Lupercalem and “dom! No”. In their place came no less talented and brilliant performers. Fedorov showed sympathy for the LSP duet, consisting of Belarusians Oleg Savchenko and Roman Sashchenko.

The second guy, part-time, was the producer of the project. In August 2014, they officially became part of the Booking Machine team and began active work.

At Oksimiron’s insistence, Oleg took part in the “Versus Battle” rap duel, where his opponent was battle regular Meowizzy. Although LSP won, he later admitted that he did not understand why he was “fighting.”

In November, the Belarusian project recorded a joint track with Fedorov, “I’m Bored of Living”, which is becoming popular on YouTube. In the summer of 2015, LSP ceased cooperation with the Versus Battle concert agency, citing the few concerts.

After the rather loud departure of mixtapers LSP, Oksimiron invited his long-time acquaintance, rap artist Markul, to the team. Soon the debut video “Moulin Rouge” was shot, and in July 2017 Markul went on tour under the auspices of “Booking Machine”.

Real popularity fell on the guy after recording a joint single with Oxxxy “Fata Morgana”.

Among the foreign artists at “BM” was the group from New Orleans “$uicieboy$”, consisting of Aristas Petros and Scott Arsen. American creativity is filled with melancholy, and the main themes remain: drugs, depression, suicide and death. The guys from “$uicieboy$” have an impressive number of mixtapes and only one album, “I want to Die in New Orleans,” released in September 2018. The popular track “Freaky” from it was recorded together with A$ap Rocky.

Booking Machine handles tours of foreign artists around Russia, and many of them travel not only to Moscow and St. Petersburg.

In November 2017, the team was joined by the Ufa duo Jeembo&Tveth, who became popular after the presentation of their debut album “Painkikker”. The guys specialize in high-quality mixtapes, which, as rappers say, “comes to the fans.”

An artist under the name Tomas MRAZ became a real find for the Booking Machine concert agency. Until 2017, he performed in the Ufa creative association “DOPECLVB”. In February, the musician signed a contract with the brainchild of Ilya Mamai and went on a tour of 15 cities.

Tomas Mraz, like most members of the close-knit Booking Machine team, recorded a joint track with Oksimiron, “Stereocoma,” which became a hit.

Soon, thanks to the patronage of the Bashkir, the concert agency has a new artist May Wave$ - real name Daniil Meilikhov. The young rapper began his work under the guidance of the talented beatmaker Ameriqa, better known as Andrey Shcherbakov.

May Wave$ has several mixtapes to its credit: “Waves”, “Surfin”, “Java House” and one EP “Care”. Meilikhov was recognized as the best freshman of 2017, which he is very proud of. The increasingly popular rapper signed a contract with the Booking Machine record agency in February 2018, and two months later presented a new record, called “Surfin 2.”

Another protégé of Tomas MRAZ appeared in the team of Ilya Mamai and Oksimiron. This is young and melodic Souloud.

In 2017, Soulaud joined Thomas Mraz's tour and after some time became a full-time artist of Booking Machine.

Also recently included in Booking Machine is Roman Khudyakov, better known as Loqiemean. Initially, Roman was involved in producing music, but later realized that he could speak more in his lyrics and share his opinion on many issues that concern him.

Many note that Lokimin is a rare example of an artist who does not hesitate to speak openly about politics and social issues however, it doesn't sound outdated or insincere. A few years ago, Roman called like-minded young people “a pack.” These are people who have no family ties, but share the same views and values in life.

Loki has released the 2017 album Beast Of No Nation and two EPs “AGENDA” and “POVES2KA”. The new album is due out in 2019.

At the same time, Oxxxymiron presented the ultimate video “Konstrukt”, in which almost all the artists of the Booking Machine concert agency starred. Among them were: May Wave$, Jeembo, Tveth, Tomas MRAZ, Souloud, Porchy, Loqiemean and Oxxymiron himself. Each of the gang members read a verse.

According to the plot of the “Konstrukt” video, each artist appears in their own locations and reads their part to the general music. There is no chorus in the text, but the main motive is to find like-minded people. It is worth noting that Loqiemean looks tougher and more brutal, suspended on meat hooks and covered in blood. Many BM fans remember this particular visual from the video.

In August 2018, a large festival of the label “Booking Machine Festival” was held, in which all members of the BM team took part.

To become an artist at the concert agency of Ilya Mamai, to receive the support of the eccentric rapper Oksimiron, it is enough to remain yourself, have your own style and desire to work. In the very lyrics of the track “Konstrukt” Miron says that It is impossible to get to BM for money and thanks to influential acquaintances.

For the rest, experienced professionals from the creative association “Booking Machine” will help and launch the mechanism of popularity.

The site's commentators decide who rules the rap game.

Since the commentators on the site are themselves and even, it’s time to give them the right to vote in serious matters.

Today we decided to find out with their help which label rules the rap game in Russia.

Who gives artists' careers a boost (or a kick?)

Who, in the end, is simply everyone's favorite?

Oksimiron said that he would be involved in artist management

Last week, Oksimiron became the executive director (CEO) of Booking Machine, a concert agency that is now being reformatted into a company with a wider range of services.

Booking Machine has been organizing Oksimiron’s concerts for several years. According to the former head of the agency, Ilya Mamai, it was thanks to Miron Fedorov’s participation in the company’s work, his vision and ideas, that Booking Machine went “from a small concert agency to a tangible force in the music industry.”

It is reported that Ilya Mamai will continue to deal with concerts, and Miron Fedorov will take over strategic issues and artist management.

What is Booking Machine known for?

Booking agency Booking Machine appeared in 2009 and initially specialized in modern metal. Thanks to him, Alex Clare, Amenra, Dub FX performed in Russia for the first time (according to Oksimiron, it was Ilya Mamai who came across recordings of his street performances on YouTube - as a result, Dub FX in Russia quickly turned into a musician performing in halls for several thousand spectators).

When Oksimiron, who returned to Russia, settled in St. Petersburg, Ilya Mamai became his concert director. Interestingly, from the very beginning, Booking Machine did not sell his concerts for royalties. It itself formed tours (this scheme is potentially more profitable, but is suitable only for artists who are very confident in their success), on which the musician and his team went by minibus. According to Mamai, in 2016 they independently held more than 300 concerts of artists collaborating with them.

With the arrival of Oksimiron, other rappers from Russia appeared among Booking Machine’s clients. The most successful case is collaboration with the St. Petersburg duo of Harry Topor and Tony Routh, who over the course of several years working with Booking Machine went on seven tours.

Among other things, the Booking Machine agency was the organizer of the concert versions of the Versus battle.

What will happen to Booking Machine next?

Ilya Mamai announced the signing of several “new iconic names, equally close in creativity and spirit.” At the same time, the agency completed work with all of its previous rap clients - these were the aforementioned Harry Topor and Tony Routh, as well as Lupercal and dom!No. Almost immediately, the first artist of the updated Booking Machine was named: it was the promising rapper/vocalist from Ufa Tomas Mraz (real name Almas Gataullin. - Note ed.). “We have grandiose plans,” this event was briefly commented on Oksimiron’s social networks.

If this is the first time you've heard the name Thomas Mraz, it's a serious omission. In January, his EP “Do Not Shake the Spear” appeared on Afisha Daily, and his previous mixtape “May 13” took an unexpectedly high second place - both releases are more than worthy of a careful look. Thomas gained fame as a member of the Ufa rap association Dopeclub, which, in turn, was part of the Yungrussia Internet movement. Its most notable members include Pharaoh and Boulevard Depo.

Other clients of Booking Machine include young metal bands from Russia Shokran and Wildways. “The most popular young teams in domestic heavy music, if we take “my 2007” as the previous generation,” Oksimiron characterizes them. - Both are under our management and are quickly gaining momentum, including in the West. Wildways are signed to the famous American label Artery Records.”

This is what the Wildways group is, one of the clients of the new Booking Machine

The list of artists on the Booking Machine website also includes a number of foreign names: Dub FX, Young Lin, $uicideboy$. According to Oksimiron, we are talking about booking these artists in Russia and the ex-USSR, with an eye on Eastern Europe, and in the future, Europe as a whole (in 2016, Booking Machine already worked there, organizing Oksimiron’s European club tour). The goal is to achieve the organization of tours across a country or a series of countries, and in the future - to exclusive booking over an increasingly larger territory.

What was Oksimiron's biggest mistake related to the Booking Machine?

A year and a half ago, “Poster” said that Oksimiron’s career after returning to Russia looks like a path from one success to another. Over the past time, nothing has changed in this sense. With the exception of, perhaps, the only public failure - an unsuccessful collaboration with the Belarusian duet “LSP”.

Miron insisted on signing “LSP” at Booking Machine - Ilya Mamai did not want to work with this project. “I don’t think that LSP and Booking Machine will earn millions from this cooperation,” in January 2015. “And... with him - I just really like what they do, and I want more people to hear it.” And he continued: “For good measure, there is simply no group in Russian-language music that is closer to my feeling.”

In the summer of 2015, LSP did not renew the contract with Booking Machine. It was not immediately known that the farewell was not kind. The conflict entered the open phase in the spring of 2016: then Oksimiron decided that “LSP” was mocking him in a joint track with his colleague and full-time sound producer Porchi, so he added a harsh verse accusing “LSP” of ingratitude.

To explain the situation as simply as possible, while working with the Booking Machine, the LSP group was sitting at home - there was no demand for concerts. But immediately after the end of the contract, they released an album, found a new concert director (who also worked with Pharaoh) - and went on tour. caught them at the moment when the group first felt financially bearable.

Using the example of LSP, it is convenient to explain how Booking Machine promoted its clients two years ago. Oksimiron, having a large loyal fan base, introduced her to the work of LSP, announced their performances and defended them to critics. He twice recorded joint tracks with LSP. The second, called “Madness (Remix),” featured a video that became a genre hit. The fact that “LSP” did not turn into a touring group during the year of cooperation with Booking Machine is not necessarily Miron Fedorov’s fault. But the fact that we still went after one and a half years is also his merit.

When booking a car, you only need a credit or debit card.

At the rental point you will need the following documents:

  • Passport.
  • Voucher.
  • Driver's license for each driver.
  • Credit card in the name of the main driver (some rental companies accept debit cards, but most do not).

Important: Be sure to read your rental company's rental terms and conditions because they may vary. For example, a rental company may require additional identification, only accept certain types of cards, or may not rent cars to drivers who have been licensed less than 36 months ago.

  • At what age can you rent cars?

Most rental companies rent cars to drivers over 21 years of age (and sometimes younger). If you are under 25 years old, you may have to pay a young driver fee.

  • Can I rent a car for my partner, friend or colleague?

Certainly. Simply enter the other person's details in the Driver Information section when booking.

    • Think about where you are going. An SUV will handle the highways of Texas just fine, but a smaller vehicle will do the trick for driving around Rome.
    • Find out what others think. There are a lot of reviews and ratings on our website, so you can find out what customers of different rental companies liked and didn’t like.
    • Don't forget the gearbox. In some countries, almost everyone drives a car with a manual transmission, and in some, almost everyone drives an automatic car. Make sure you rent a car you can drive!
  • Is everything included in the rental price?

The price you see includes the vehicle, required insurance coverages (such as Collision Damage Coverage (CDW) and Theft Coverage), and mandatory fees (such as one-way rental fee, airport tax, and local taxes) .

It also includes any additional devices or services you add (such as GPS or child car seat).

The price does not include additional services that are paid at the rental point.

Tip: A full price breakdown can be found on the payment page.

  • On February 8, on the page of Ilya Mamai, the head of the Booking Machine concert agency, a detailed post was published, where he told important news regarding BM, and also attached a short video where he and Oxy talk about what this concert agency means to them. In his detailed post, Mamai, in addition to the news about Oksimiron’s appointment as executive director, spoke about the new faces of BM, which we will be able to learn about very soon, and also that the organization will now be involved not only in concerts, but also in the management of artists. In other words: The Empire continues to grow.

Ilya Mamai writes: We have important news. First, briefly:

    • Myron will lead Booking Machine as chief executive officer (CEO).
    • BM is updating its roster.
    • BM is now involved not only in concerts, but also in artist management.

    Now in more detail:

Over the eight years of its existence, the BM team has learned to hold concerts of any level of complexity without intermediaries. We sell our artists’ tours less and less for a fee and increasingly organize them ourselves; last year we had over 300 such concerts, on almost every day of the calendar year. BM depends less and less on anyone other than itself, and with the advent of new opportunities, goals also change. Previously, our goal was to support the underground scene, primarily in heavy music. Today we are focused on developing any honest and original music to a level where it can truly compete with the stultifying entertainment industry.

Perhaps no one has yet risked breaking contracts at the peak of popularity with Harry Topor and Tony Routh, except perhaps... Ilya Mamai!

The engine of this evolution of BM from a small concert agency to a tangible force in the music industry was our tandem with Miron, whose participation in the company’s work was never limited to concert activities. Largely thanks to his vision and ideas, you and I have become part of a fundamentally new movement, where artists are as close as possible to the listeners, and divisions into genres and subcultures no longer play a role. I see the future of BM in this approach, and therefore I consider it logical to entrust Miron with the further strategic development of the company and the management of our artists. I will continue to be responsible for booking and managing the BM team, which has already grown to 15 employees.

Today we have ended on a friendly note our long-term collaboration with Harry Topor and Tony Routh, Lupercal (Project Mutilation), as well as dom!No and a number of other artists, deliberately reducing the Booking Machine roster to a small number of selected artists. In the near future we will announce the signing of new iconic names, equally close to us in creativity and spirit.

    Welcome to Booking Machine!

OXXXYMIRON headed BOOKING MACHINE as executive director.
