The event will include: Russian Open Cup in modern dance styles (50 disciplines), VIX Eastern European Championships in cheer sports and cheerleading, World Championships, IDO World Cups, an international Grand Prix in sports majorettes, an exhibition of goods and services “Dance Expo”, an annual national "Excellence" award, OLYMPICS of competitive arts, festive concerts, fashion shows, round tables, master classes, parades and performances of countries and regions of the Russian Federation, as well as international rating competitions in sports - ballroom dancing - XXIV CSKA Cup "Victory Waltz" . For the first time, the unique competition MISS ARTISTIC SPORT RUSSIA will be held.

According to statistics OLYMPICS 2016: 29,761 representatives from 43 countries and 70 regions of Russia took part in it. 1,155 awards ceremonies were held. In 2017, we expect to host 30,000 participants from 45 countries. More than 40,000 spectators will be able to see OLYMPICS programs! The World Dance Olympiad is the largest and most ambitious event in the field of dance culture. That is why this year the All-Russian Dance Organization applied to set the record for “The Largest Dance Festival in Russia.” The Russian Book of Records has accepted the application; the evidence base will be the list of participants in the XIII World Dance Olympiad. The date for fixing the record will be the closing date of the Olympics - May 11, 2016, and changes in the number of participants will be monitored for all 13 days.

As part of the Olympics, the following will take place: the Russian Open Cup in modern dancing, the Eastern European Championships in cheer sports and cheerleading, the World and European Championships, the IDO World Cups, as well as international rating competitions in sports ballroom dancing - the XXI CSKA Cup, the patriotic festival "Waltz" Victory."

Among the dance disciplines presented at the Olympics: children's gymnastics show, pop dance, Belly dance, Bollywood, gypsy dances, flamenco, world dances, classical dance, step, Irish dance, acrobatic dance, Street Dance Show, hip-hop team show , breakdancing, ballroom dancing, salsa, bachata, Argentine tango, Para Dance, cheerleading, Pole Dance, Lade Style Dance and others.

The IFMS International Grand Prix in sports majorettes will take place on May 6 and 7. The parade of participants will take place in Sokolniki Park these days. For all Russian majorettes, this is a great opportunity to show their achievements, as well as watch the performances of international level athletes.

The goal of the organizers is to cover all types of dance styles and show the rich cultural heritage of world dance culture in all its diversity - many years of experience and a large territory of the festival allows them to harmoniously achieve this seemingly impossible result.

The Olympics are not only world-class sports competitions, but also a real festival of cultures. From May 2 to May 6, the Sokolniki Exhibition and Convention Center in pavilion 7A will host the Oriental EXPO Exhibition and Festival of Oriental Culture.

Especially for the many people from around the world who are so attracted by the East, the organizers of Oriental EXPO are preparing master classes and entertainment: open lessons in Arabic, Persian, Turkish, Hebrew and Hindi; master classes: on Arabic and Persian calligraphy, on “Ebru”, on Turkish ceramic painting; master classes in Indian, oriental dances and martial arts, yoga; lectures on the countries of the Arab East at the present time, Islam as a culture, relationships between people of different faiths on the territory of the Holy Land and others.
At the Oriental EXPO, everyone can learn how to cook some oriental dishes, as well as try oriental cuisine in the food court: Lebanese, Turkish, Uzbek, Afghan, Japanese, Vietnamese cuisine and Ossetian pies.
The exhibition will include shows from leading fashion designers of Muslim clothing. All guests will be able to enter a real oriental bazaar, where a variety of oriental goods will be presented - carpets, souvenirs, jewelry, real Arab perfumes, wood products, textiles, oriental daggers, natural cosmetics, Muslim clothing and clothing in oriental style, scarves and stoles, aromatic oils and incense, dishes and ceramics and much more.
Even for the youngest visitors there will be a children's room with a series of master classes and children's entertainment.
From May 3 to 11, as part of the Olympics, the Miss Olimpiada Dancing Queen beauty contest will be held in order to promote the image of a modern girl - “Beauty. Health. Self-realization", femininity, beauty and talent.
On May 10, there will be a presentation of creative performances, a fashion show, and classes on creating your own image with leading top stylists. The finalists of the Competition take part in preparatory rehearsals for the final show under the guidance of professional directors, choreographers, makeup artists, stylists, and photographers.
