Tales of flowers, legends and parables about nature

Flower tales, legends, parables about nature, oriental stories
There are thousands of flowers on earth - and each has its own purpose, its own character, its own history, its own fairy tale... Tales of flowers, legends, parables about nature, as well as funny oriental stories...

Funny oriental stories, parables, fairy tales, myths, fables, poems, witticisms, etc.
Parables from the book by Nosrat Pezeshkian: “The Trader and the Parrot.” The source of the stories is classical oriental literature as revised by poets such as Hafiz, Saadi, Movlana, Parvin, Etessami, etc. Many stories are easily recognizable. Some of them have long become jokes, and some have been reduced to proverbs and sayings. The prototype of the “hero” in many Eastern stories is the mullah. A mullah is a popular preacher who usually travels around the country with his constant companion, a donkey. Since some of the traveling preachers attracted the attention of the crowd with witticisms and irony and attracted attention with their absurd behavior, the mullah became a favorite character in folk stories in Persian folklore.

Little Ida's Flowers (Hans Christian Andersen)
This is Andersen's first fairy tale, invented by himself. The idea arose when he once told the little girl Ida, the daughter of the writer Just Matthias Thiele, about the flowers in the Botanical Garden. “I remembered several of the child’s comments and passed them on when the fairy tale was later written down,” the storyteller recalled.

Unknown flower (Fairy tale)
The fairy tale describes the life of a flower in a wasteland. Here are the first two phrases: “Once upon a time there lived a little flower. No one knew that it existed on earth.” They already contain that feeling of aching loneliness that saturates the emotional world of Platonov’s heroes, the eternal melancholy of lonely souls living on earth. Every detail, every word is significant here. The reader feels in the description sadness, sadness and melancholy, fueled by the author with a chain of words that are ordinary at first glance: “small - no one - on earth.”

Bagrova Elena Viktorovna, GPD teacher, primary school teacher of category I, MBOU “Secondary school No. 1”, Kashira, Moscow region.
Purpose of the material: for home and extracurricular reading for children of primary school age, for everyone who appreciates parables as a genre of fiction.
Target:education of moral universal qualities.
Tasks:develop the ability to “see and appreciate” the beauty of nature; to form a sense of responsibility for one’s actions, to show the inextricable connection between Man and Nature, to show in an allegorical image what the reluctance to “preserve” nature will lead to.

A long time ago, in ancient times, great Creators lived on our Planet: Air, Water, Fire and Earth. They lived amicably and never quarreled.
Every day the Sun rose in the sky. It woke up slowly and, slowly, extended its long warm rays to people, as if caressing everyone and inspiring them to do good deeds.
The Earth generously thanked the Inhabitants of the Planet. Every year she gave them a rich harvest, because they were careful, zealous owners of the land on which they lived.

Water fed the Earth. She carried her clean, transparent waters so far and deep that every blade of grass, every tree on the Planet was washed and turned green under the gentle rays of the kind Sun, and a light breeze gently bowed their tops as a sign of gratitude.
Fire gave people warmth and light. Helped satisfy their hunger. In every house the hearth burned and did not go out, gathering close and dear people around it. The table was bursting with abundance and variety of food.
The inhabitants of the Planet are accustomed to the fact that their life flows measuredly and calmly. They had everything that Fertile Nature could give them: clean Air, fertile Lands, deep Rivers, the warmth of the family hearth.
There were many animals and birds in the forest; they filled the entire area with joyful rustling and singing. Fish splashed in the rivers and seas, sparkling with multi-colored scales under the rays of the playful Sun. Butterflies fluttered in the air, they circled over the fields and meadows, as if they were performing an endless dance of love, filling this World with beauty and happiness.
But one day a Man envied the butterflies, their light, carefree fluttering above the ground:
- I am the Lord of the Earth, Sun and Water! I am the Lord and Tamer of Fire!
Why do you do nothing all day, just flutter and circle above us, while I have to work to earn my clothes and food? And even to light a fire, I have to bend over! I also want to receive EVERYTHING, without working or straining, to spend time in idleness and fun!
The butterflies did not answer, flapped their colorful wings for the last time and disappeared from the “face of the Earth.” Together with them, all the extraordinary beauty that filled this Planet dissolved in an instant. The sun was offended that there were no colors left and nothing more to play and shimmer under its radiant light. It made its rays red hot, they dried up the rivers and seas, and there was nothing to feed the Earth with. The trees shed their green attire, the grass and flowers withered, the animals left, the birds flew away to distant lands.
Only Fire was in no hurry to leave Man without playing with him enough:
- Oh, are you tired of setting me on fire to keep warm and cook food?
I will prove that I do not need your participation!
At that same second, Fire burst out and rushed to walk around the Planet, showing all its destructive power and power. Behind him were burned houses, cities, scorched forests and fields. People wept over the remnants of their destroyed lives, and the Fire continued to burn brighter and stronger.
- Human! You decided to disrupt the harmony of life on the Planet, imagining yourself to be the Master and Master! So think about how and where you will be able to “manage” and what to “command” if there is nothing and no one left on this sinful Earth?
The man knelt down, hugged and pressed the earth to his lips, dry from tears, and barely audibly whispered, turning to the only savior he knew, passing every word he said through his wounded soul:
- I realized that, first of all, I must protect this Planet from myself! Only Man can destroy everything at once, and only Man himself can fix it all!!!
So let's remain Human, let's try to save our Planet, so that one moment we don't end up living among soulless stones under the rays of the scorching sun!

Snail

One day, on a cold, windy day in late spring, a snail began to climb a cherry tree.

The sparrows on a nearby tree had a lot of fun looking at her. Then one of them flew up to her and asked:

Hey, you idiot, can't you see that there are no cherries on this tree?

Without interrupting her path, the little one answered:

There will be when I get there.

Frog in boiling water

If you throw a frog into a pot of boiling water, it will jump out instantly. But, if the water is heated gradually, it will relax and miss the last opportunity to escape.

Stupid fish

Excuse me, - a small fish once asked a big one, - but do you know where to find the ocean?

The ocean is where you are now,” answered the big fish.

Elephant and flea

One day a flea decided to move the whole family into the ear of an elephant. She shouted to him:

Mister Elephant, my family and I are planning to move into your ear. I believe that a week will be enough for you to think about our decision and let us know about your objections, if any.

The elephant had no idea about the existence of the flea; he continued to lead his measured lifestyle. Having waited conscientiously for a week and not receiving an intelligible answer from the elephant, the flea considered that he agreed and moved in with him.

A month later, the flea decided that the elephant's ear was not a suitable place to live after all. But you need to move to another place without hurting the elephant’s feelings.

In the end, the flea tactfully stated:

Mister Elephant, sir, we have decided to move out. This does not apply to you - your ear is large and warm. My husband just wants to be closer to his friends at the buffalo hooves. If you have any objections, we ask that you consider your decision and respond within the next week.

The elephant did not answer, so the flea moved away with a clear conscience.

The universe has no idea about your existence! Relax!

Frog

One day a frog got into a deep rut on a village road and could not get out. She jumped again and again, but nothing worked. Other frogs tried to help her by extending their legs. But they didn't succeed.

Evening came, and they, depressed and upset, left her to the will of fate. In the morning, the frogs came to mourn and bury their friend and were surprised to see her jumping towards them in the middle of the road.

This is a miracle! How did you manage that? - they began to question her.

Very simple. I just heard that the cart was moving.

Pig and cow

The pig complained to the cow that she was being treated badly:

People always talk about your kindness and gentle eyes. Of course, you give them milk and butter, but I give them more: sausages, hams, skin and stubble, they even boil my legs! And still no one loves me. Why is this so?

The cow thought for a while and answered:

Maybe because I give everything during my lifetime?

Horse and pig

The farmer purchased a thoroughbred horse for a rather impressive sum, but a month later the horse suddenly fell ill. The farmer called the veterinarian, and after examining the horse, he concluded:

— Your horse has become infected with a dangerous virus, he needs to be given this medicine for three days. In three days I will come to check on him, and if he does not recover, I will have to put him to sleep.

A nearby pig heard this entire conversation. After the first day of taking the medicine, the horse did not recover. The pig came up to him and said:

- Come on, buddy, get up!

On the second day - the same thing, the medicine had no effect on the horse.

“Come on, my friend, get up, otherwise you’ll have to die,” the pig warned him.

On the third day the horse was again given medicine and again to no avail. The veterinarian who came said:

“Unfortunately, we have no choice, the horse needs to be euthanized because he has a virus that can spread to other horses.

Hearing this, the pig ran to the horse and started yelling:

- Come on, the vet has already arrived, you have to get up, now or never! Get up quickly!

And then the horse suddenly rose to his feet and ran!

- What a miracle! - exclaimed the farmer. - This should be celebrated! On this occasion we will slaughter a pig!

Good reward

The wolf has a huge bone stuck in its throat. The wolf was in great pain. Finally he met a heron. “Dear heron,” said the wolf. “I’ll reward you if you pull this bone out of my throat.” “And what will this reward be?” - asked the heron. “It will be a good big reward,” the wolf croaked. The heron stuck its beak into the wolf's throat and pulled out a bone.
“Well, I’m waiting for a reward,” said the heron. The wolf looked at the heron in surprise - “I didn’t bite your head off when you were digging in my throat. Isn’t this a worthy reward?”
You can't stop a hungry wolf

One day a little lamb was jumping carefree across the field. Unfortunately, no one warned the lamb that the wolf loves lamb and will not deny himself the pleasure of eating it even after a hearty breakfast. At this time the wolf was drinking water from the stream. When he raised his head, he saw a small lamb. “Aha,” thought the wolf, “here is my lunch. Really, it would be better to come up with some excuse for me to eat it.” The wolf thought for a while and growled: “Hey, you’ve muddied the waters for me.” “Bee,” bleated the lamb. - This is impossible. You drink higher upstream than I do.” The wolf frowned, but immediately shouted again: “I remembered: you were rude to me last year.” “No, it’s impossible,” said the lamb. I was just born into this.” “Oh, right,” said the wolf, “then I’ll eat you simply because I’m hungry.”

A wolf in sheep's clothing for dinner

One wolf, big and angry, came up with an easy way to get dinner. He did not throw away the skin of the sheep he had just eaten, but wrapped himself in it so that the other sheep could not recognize him as a wolf. After that, he made his way into the sheepfold - he made it before the door was closed for the night. “Ha-ha-ha,” he chuckled to himself. “It’s easier than a steamed turnip.” At that time, the door to the sheepfold opened - the peasant decided to slaughter a lamb for his dinner. “This one looks like it’s fat, it’ll suit me,” - he said and, grabbing the wolf, dragged him into the yard.

A wolf is not a dog's friend

Every night, hungry wolves sneaked up on the flock of fat sheep, licking their tongues. But the dogs barked to warn the owner about the danger threatening the herd. One day a wolf carefully crawled up to the dogs and said: “Listen, this is stupid. We are of the same blood, we are very similar. With only one difference: you wear collars and obey your master. But this is ridiculous. Come join us and we will divide these fat sheep among ourselves.” The dogs scratched their heads thoughtfully and said: “Well, we probably wouldn’t mind having a lamb for dinner.” And the dogs let the wolves into the herd. And the wolves first chewed up the dogs, and then took all the sheep with them.

Swimming lesson

Once upon a time there was a mischievous calf. He always did what he shouldn't.
His mother cow told him: "Never swim in the river near the mill. It's too dangerous there." But of course, that’s where the calf bathed the next day. The river near the mill was indeed fast and dangerous, and soon the calf began to drown. but he was lucky - one wise cow came ashore. "Help!" - the calf cried and immediately went under the water with its head for the third time. The cow began to lecture the calf about how dangerous the river was in this place and how stupid it was for him to swim in this place. "Please, help!" - the calf shouted, going under the water for the fourth time. - Pull me ashore, and then lecture me as much as you like. Otherwise, I may never listen to them to the end."

Grateful mouse

One day, a little mouse was running somewhere about his business, and before he had time to figure out what was what, he suddenly realized that he had run straight to the mouth of a sleeping lion. The lion woke up, grabbed the mouse and was about to eat it, but it squealed: “Please don’t eat me, lion. You are so big and I am so small. But who knows, maybe I’ll be useful to you someday.” The lion laughed - how could a tiny mouse help him, but still let him go. Several days passed, and the lion was caught in a hunting net. The lion roared in despair, and the mouse was right there. “I heard you calling me,” said the mouse. “Wait, now I’ll free you!” The mouse gnawed at the rope all night, and finally the lion was free. Since then, the mouse lived warm and safe in the lion's den.

Smart donkey

Once upon a time there was a donkey. He grew old and became much smarter than he was in his youth. Every day the owner piled heavy bales on his back and the donkey waited for only one thing - the onset of night. And before going to bed, he liked to have a hearty dinner.
One day, when the bales on his back were especially heavy, the out of breath owner ran up to him and said: “Come on, rush as fast as you can, otherwise the soldiers will come here and seize all my property.” The donkey thought. “And if they capture,” he asked, “will they burden me even more than you?” The owner did not guess what was on his donkey’s mind and replied: “No, I don’t think so.” Then the donkey said to him: “Well, then, I guess I won’t rush. Whoever seizes your property, my life may change for the better.”

Donkey tries to become a dog

Every evening the donkey saw the yard dog joyfully greeting its owner and wagging its tail. The owner usually stroked the dog on the head, then took something tasty out of his pocket and gave it to the dog. The donkey was overcome with envy. And the next time, when he saw his owner, the donkey began jumping up and waving his tail. But the donkey was so big that, jumping up, he knocked his owner off his feet. And instead of something tasty, as punishment, the owner tied the donkey to the fence.

Envious goat
A donkey and a goat lived on the same farm. The goat had to get its own food, and the donkey, who worked all day long, was fed by the farmer. And the goat began to envy the donkey, not thinking at all about how hard he had to work. And then one day the goat drove the donkey into a hole - he fell and seriously hurt his leg. The peasant called the animal doctor, he examined the donkey and said: “In order for this donkey to recover as quickly as possible, you need to give him goat broth to drink.” The goat heard these words and started to run - that’s all they saw.

God loves those who care for our little brothers

This day on the Rainbow Bridge was unlike any other.
It was grey, bleak and depressing. The animals, who had not been on the bridge for so long, could not understand what was happening. but everything was clear to the old-timers. They gathered at the edge of the bridge and began to watch.
Soon everyone saw an old dog approaching the Bridge with its head down and tail drooping. The animals who had been on the Rainbow Bridge for a long time already knew in advance what happened to this dog - they had seen similar situations too often.
The dog approached slowly, apparently in great mental pain, although it showed no signs of injury or illness. For some reason she did not become, like other animals, happy and healthy again. The dog approached, thinking that now it would cross the cherished line, and the closer it came, the happier it became. But then the dog’s path was blocked by an angel, who apologized and said that animals cannot cross the Rainbow Bridge without accompanying people. The old dog had nowhere else to go, and she went out into the field in front of the bridge, where there were old animals like her, who came to the bridge without a human friend.
They lay on the green grass, staring at the path that led to the Bridge.
The new dog lay down with them, also looking at the Bridge and expecting something.
One of the newcomers to the Bridge asked a dog who had lived there for a long time:
“Who is this dog and why doesn’t he become healthy and young like us?”
“You see,” the old-timer answered, “this dog was given to a shelter when he grew old, as you see him - an old dog with graying fur and eyes covered with a film of old age.” At his last moment, only the shelter employee could give him his love, calm him down and caress him. Since he had no family, no one can take him across the Bridge.
-And what will happen to him now? - asked the newcomer.
While he was waiting for an answer, everyone saw how the clouds parted and a man approached in the Bridge. All the animals, waiting for something in the field near the Bridge, were bathed in golden light, and immediately became young and healthy again. Many more animals ran up to the Bridge when they saw the stranger. They bowed low to him, and he stroked their heads and scratched them behind the ears. Together they walked to the Bridge and crossed it.
-What is this? - Asked the newcomer.
-This person is an employee of the shelter. The animals that bowed to him found a new home thanks to him. They will cross the Bridge when their masters are here. And those who crossed the Bridge with him never had a home. When a shelter employee comes here, he is allowed to show his love for animals one last time. He brings all the poor, unwanted animals across the bridge.
-I love such people! - said the newcomer.
-And God too! - was the answer.

"Ugly Cat"

We live correctly in this world if we love it correctly...
Every person in our house knew how Ugly our Local Cat was.
Ugly Cat loved three things in this world, and these are: the struggle for survival, eating “whatever comes along” and, let’s say, love. The combination of these things, plus being homeless in our yard, left indelible marks on Ugly Cat's body.
To start. The Ugly Cat only had one eye. An ear was also missing on the same side, and the left leg had once been broken and healed at some incredible angle, giving the impression that the cat was always going to turn the corner. His tail was missing. All that was left was a small stub with a tassel at the end. And, if not for the many scars covering Ugly Cat's head and even shoulders, he could be called a dark gray tabby cat.
Anyone who even once looked at him had the same reaction: “What an UGLY cat!” All children were strictly forbidden to touch it. Adults threw stones at him in the yard to drive him away and slammed the door in his face so that he could not enter the apartment. Our janitor sprayed him with a hose when he tried to approach her.
Surprisingly, Ugly Cat always showed the same reaction. If he was watered with a hose, he obediently got wet until the tormentor got tired of this fun. If they threw something at him, he rubbed his feet, as if asking for forgiveness. If he saw children, he ran headlong towards them and rubbed his head against his hands and purred loudly, begging for affection. If someone did pick him up, he would immediately begin to suck on the corner of a blouse, a button, or anything else he could reach.
But one day the Ugly Cat ran into the neighbors' dogs. From my window I heard dogs barking, his cries for help and the commands “Fast!” the owners of the dogs, and immediately rushed to the rescue. When I reached him, Ugly Cat was terribly bitten, covered in blood and almost dead. He lay curled up in a ball. His back, legs, and back of his body had completely lost their original shape. His life was coming to an end. A tear trail crossed his muzzle.
While I carried him home, he wheezed and choked. I ran to take him home!! And most of all I was afraid of hurting him even more. Meanwhile, he tried to suck my ear...
I stopped and, choking with tears, hugged him to me. The cat touched his head to the palm of my hand, his golden eye turned in my direction, and I heard... purring!! Even experiencing such terrible pain, the Cat asked for one thing - a drop of Love! Perhaps a little bit of Compassion... And at that moment I thought that I was dealing with the most loving being I had ever met in my life. The most loving and internally the most beautiful. He just looked at me, confident that I would be able to alleviate his pain.
The Ugly Cat died in my arms before I could get home, and I sat for a long time at my entrance, holding him on my lap.
Subsequently, I thought a lot about how one unfortunate cripple was able to change my ideas about what true purity of spirit, faithful and boundless love is. That's how it really was. Ugly Cat taught me more about compassion than a thousand books, lectures, or conversations. And I will always be grateful to him. His body was crippled, and my soul was scratched. The time has come for me to learn to love truly and deeply. Give love to your neighbor without reserve.
Most of us want to be richer, more successful, strong and beautiful.
And I will always strive for one thing - to love like the Ugly Cat...
We live correctly in this world if we love it correctly!

Real paradise

A man, a horse and a dog were walking along the road. As they passed under a huge tree, lightning struck and turned the three of them to ashes. However, the man did not realize that he had left this world and continued on his way with his two animals (sometimes it takes a little time for the dead to realize their new position).
The path was very long, and they climbed a hill. The sun was very strong and they were sweating and thirsty.
At one turn of the road they saw a beautiful marble gate that led to a square lined with golden slabs.
Our traveler went to the man who was guarding the entrance and there was the following dialogue between them:
- Good afternoon.
“Good afternoon,” the guard answered.
- What is the name of this beautiful place?
- It is a paradise.
- It’s so good that we got to Paradise, because we are thirsty!
- You can, Sir, come in and drink as much as you want. And the guard showed him the source.
- Yes, but my horse and dog are also thirsty.
“I’m very sorry,” said the guard, “but animals are not allowed here.”
The man refused with great difficulty, although he was very thirsty, but did not even think about drinking alone. He thanked the guard and continued on his way.
When they had walked far enough up the rise, all three of them, already exhausted, reached another place, the entrance to which was separated by a small old door that led to a field road surrounded by trees.
A man was sitting in the shade of a tree with a hat on his head. He was probably asleep.
“Good afternoon,” said the traveler.
- The man nodded in response.
- I, my horse and my dog are thirsty.
“There is a spring there among the rocks,” he said, showing the place.
- You can drink as much as you want.
The man, horse and dog went to the source and calmed their thirst.
The traveler returned to thank the man.
“You can come again as often as you want,” he answered.
“What is the name of this place,” the man asked, taking advantage of the opportunity.
- Paradise
- Paradise? But the guard at the marble entrance told me that Paradise is there!
“In fact, it was Hell - those who abandon their faithful friends remain there,” the guard answered.
.............
Never leave your true friends, even if it causes you difficulties.
If they provide their love and friendship, you have a duty: never leave them.
Because to make friends is a blessing, to have a friend is a gift, to keep a friend is an honor, and to be someone's friend... - It is an Honor..

Two trees

TO Once upon a time, long ago, two trees grew in the same forest. When raindrops fell on the leaves or water washed the roots of the first tree, it absorbed just a little and said: “If I take more, what will be left for the other?”

The second tree took all the water that nature gave it. When the sun gave light and warmth to the second tree, it enjoyed bathing in the golden rays, and the first one took only a small part for itself.

Years have passed. The branches and leaves of the first tree were so small that they could not absorb even a drop of rain, the sun's rays could not penetrate to the meager fruits, being lost in the crowns of other trees.

“I have given to others all my life, and now I receive nothing in return,” the tree quietly repeated over and over again.

The second hero of our parable grew nearby, whose luxurious branches were richly decorated with large fruits.

“Thank you, Almighty, for giving me everything in this life. Now, years later, I want to give hundreds of times more by doing as you do. Under my branches I will shelter thousands of travelers from the scorching sun or from the rain "My fruits will delight many generations of people with their taste. Thank you for giving me this opportunity to give," said the second tree.

WITH THE HUMAN HEART

M. Skrebtsova

An oak tree grew in one village. He was old, old. No one knew exactly how old he was. The old people said that when they were children, the oak tree already seemed old. The village loved oak. There were many signs and beliefs surrounding him. You couldn’t swear rudely near an oak tree - you’d certainly get sick later. It was impossible to throw garbage on the ground near the oak tree - to unexpected misfortunes. It was forbidden to break off branches from an oak tree - they said it would lead to death. And there were joyful signs too. At the oak tree, the young people declared their love so that the love would grow stronger; Future mothers came to the oak tree and gained strength; newborn children were brought to the oak tree so that they could grow up healthy; The sick were brought to the oak tree so that the power of the tree would flow into them. Sometimes the oak actually helped. More often than not, everything went in people’s lives the way they themselves wanted it to. However, oak was treated with respect.

One day the house near the oak tree was sold. The new owner knew nothing about the oak tree and decided to cut it down as soon as he settled in the new place:

- You look out the window - there is only an oak tree before your eyes. He blocks all the light for me.

But this is not an easy task - cutting down an oak tree. The owner needed help. He began to go from house to house, asking if anyone would help. Nobody wanted to listen to him. On the contrary, people dissuaded him and frightened him with signs. And the owner, at least take henna, stands his ground:

- If you don’t want to, I can handle it alone, without help.

Just before his plan, he had a dream. Lightning is flashing, there is a hurricane outside, the old oak tree is creaking with all its branches and twigs, as if talking to the wind:

“I’ve outlived my time, the wind, that’s enough.” No longer nice to people. Previously, a good husband and wife lived here, talked to me, admired my beauty. I have never known grief. I have not withstood such hurricanes. The human heart filled me with warmth and kindness. And now my strength has disappeared, I don’t feel a human heart near me, I’m lonely, I’m dying.

A crash was heard and the oak tree tilted. The gusts of wind were so strong that the whole house shook.

The owner thought in horror:

“Lord, if it falls on my house, there will be no living space left from me and from my house.”

He ran out into the street in what he was wearing and begged:

- Don't fall, hold on, buddy! You are still strong enough to die. Look, the wind has already begun to subside, hold on. The owner ran up to the oak tree itself, hugged it, grabbed it as best he could, and began to support it...

The tree was cracking with all its branches. At one moment it shuddered and swayed so strongly that the whole earth around shook, and the owner woke up at that moment...

The first thing he did was rush to the window. The morning sun was shining, and the oak tree stood as if nothing had happened. The owner's heart was relieved.

- God be with you, live in good health, since you are so gentle.

Since then, the owner and the oak tree have become best friends.

PERELESKA

M. Skrebtsova

Once a girl picked a bouquet of blue snowdrops in the forest. It was cold and damp in the forest. The snow hasn't melted yet. The girl took pity on the delicate flowers on fragile legs and said:

“You were in a hurry to get out of the ground, and now you’re freezing.” Although your brown legs are dressed in warm fluff, you yourself are so defenseless, you cannot cope with the cold! I'll take you home.

That's what the girl did. At home, she put her flowers in a jar of water. But she soon noticed that the flower heads had hung up and began to wither.

The girl was upset and cried. Suddenly he hears a voice:

- Do not Cry. It's too late to cry now. We copses can only grow in the forest. We are firmly connected to the earth. Our roots did not sleep under the snow in winter; they grew buds in the spring. Our buds became strong and hardy, and so we blossomed into blue flowers.

The girl was surprised, leaned over the flowers and asked:

“Wasn’t it chilly for you in the damp wind in the forest?”

One of the flowers answers:

- Of course it was cold. But someone must meet the red spring. If she sees that no one is meeting her, she won’t want to come. So we are in a hurry to get out from under the snow. That's why we are snowdrops. Spring is always happy when it sees us. With the joy of spring, the air immediately becomes warm, and we warm up.

“Forgive me, copses,” the girl asked, “that I prevented you from celebrating spring.”

The copses answer:

- We are not offended by you, spring has just begun. Our sister coppices will soon bloom throughout all the coppices. It’s not for nothing that we were given the name Pereleski. So there is someone to welcome the red spring.

After this incident, the girl no longer collected coppice, but often came to admire them and asked them about everything.

“Your blue flowers and copses are beautiful, but your leaves don’t suit you at all, they are so rough and covered in spots,” said the girl.

“Our leaves are great workers,” answered the copses. “They grew up last year and all summer they absorbed the sun’s warmth and collected reserves in the rhizome. Then we spent the whole winter under the snow, helping the rhizomes grow our buds. No wonder they look like that. As soon as we fade, the old leaves will be replaced by young leaves. At first they are covered with a soft fluff, but soon they will become smooth in order to better absorb the sun’s warmth and collect more reserves.

Since then, the girl came to the copses every spring, and their thin voices rang joyfully:

- Hello, girl, from the red spring!

QUESTIONS AND ASSIGNMENTS:

What new things did you learn about copses from this fairy tale?

What feelings do the first spring flowers evoke in your soul?

Draw a spring fairy in a dress decorated with copses.

What do you think the girl will become when she grows up? Write a fairy tale about how a girl became friends with all the flowers in the forest.

She asks her:

- Why are you, sister, not like us? Your dress is completely different. You have white flowers gathered in a tassel on a thick green stem, while we have one flower on a thin stem. Our flowers are like little eyes with eyelash petals in different directions, and yours have an upper and lower lip and a long spur. Your character is also not ours, not violet. We hide in the grass, and you raise your stem higher than everyone else. But most of all I’m interested in why you sleep during the day and smell fragrant at night? You're missing out on everything interesting! Every day spring gives the forest something amazing.

The night violet answers her:

- If everyone sleeps at night, who will feed the night forest butterflies? For nocturnal insects, nocturnal flowers must grow. Besides, sister, there are no less miracles in the forest at night: spring doesn’t go to bed at night. In addition, I am not from the violet family at all, but from the orchid family. You and I, violet, are similar in scent, so people called me night violet because of the fragrant smell. Spring itself calls me forest spirits of the night.

So don’t bother me, sister, to sleep and gain strength for the night. Bumblebees, bees, flies and butterflies - they haven’t woken me up during the day for a long time, they protect my sleep. So that they don’t confuse my white flowers with some other flowers, I try not to smell them during the day.

F JAY MAY

M. Skrebtsova

The forest greeted the fairy of each spring month with different gifts. The time had come for the new Fairy to go into the forest, and he was already preparing flowers for her in his meadows. One day the April Fairy returned from the forest with a basket full of flowers. There were all sorts of flowers in it: the fashionable lungwort, the fragile coppice, the flirtatious anemone, and the golden little rams. Her sister, Fairy May, flew up to her and gasped:

- Oh, sister, what flowers the Forest gave you! I wish I could receive such a gift. Does Les have enough strength and time for me?

The April Fairy answers her sister:

“The forest is waiting for you, can’t wait.” He started growing flowers for you while I was there. I was going to pick them, but he didn’t let me, he said they were yours. Fly, sister, to him quickly.

The May Fairy flew into the forest, landed on a fragrant forest clearing and looked around. Between two wide and green leaves, white fragrant bells rose on long stems and rang quietly. The Fairy leaned over to them, put them in her basket and said:

- Thank you, Les, for greeting me with May lilies of the valley - my favorite flowers of spring.

The forest rustled with its branches:

“If you bend down lower, you’ll notice another one of my gifts.” He is more modest than the lily of the valley, but also handsome. They call him Maynik. This is the little brother of the lily of the valley, so its greenish-white buds and red berries are smaller.

Fairy May looked and saw that right next to her feet a tiny flower was growing with a spikelet of white fragrant flowers. Two green leaves of the spikelet embraced, just like a lily of the valley. The Maynik flowers emitted a surprisingly delicate jasmine scent that Fairy May could not breathe.

Les answers her:

- I have prepared another fragrant gift for you. Run along this forest path and you will see him.

The Fairy walked along the forest path. Meanwhile it was getting dark. The Fairy was worried that she wouldn’t find the forest gift in the dark, but the Forest reassured her:

“Don’t worry, beauty, these flowers themselves will show you the path in the dark.”

Indeed, the darker it became, the more the amazing aroma called to the Fairy. She went straight to the smell and saw white clusters of flowers on tall thick stems flaunting. Night butterflies hover around.

The forest says to the Fairy:

- Take, Fairy, orchids into your basket - the most fragrant May flowers. They smell sweet only at dusk. This is why they are called night violets.

The Fairy spent the night in a clearing with night violets, and all night she had fragrant dreams. In the morning she washed herself with dew and moved on. He sees that under the fir trees there is a continuous carpet of light green leaves with hearts on thin stems, and between them white and pink flowers are shaking their heads in the warm breeze. The Fairy's shoe touched the flower carpet, the flowers and leaves immediately closed and drooped.

- What new have you learned about May flowers and plants? Which of these colors do you like best and why?

    FAIRY OF MAY

Oh, sister, what flowers the Forest gave you! I wish I could receive such a gift. Does Les have enough strength and time for me?

The April Fairy answers her sister:

The forest is waiting for you, can't wait. He started growing flowers for you while I was there.

Thank you, Les, for greeting me with May lilies of the valley - my favorite flowers of spring.

The forest rustled with its branches:

If you bend down lower, you will notice another gift from me. He is more modest than the lily of the valley, but also handsome.

Here the Forest called the Fairy again:

Fairy May fluttered merrily and flew to another forest clearing. The clearing greeted her with a blue-violet fragrance. Fairy May took a closer look and understood everything. It was in the grass that the fragrant violets bloomed.

The Fairy picked up a bouquet of violets and said:

What fragrant gifts you have, dear Les. It’s like a bouquet of spring perfume has gathered in my basket.

    Les answers her:

I have prepared another fragrant gift for you. Run along this forest path and you will see him.

The Fairy walked along the forest path. Meanwhile it was getting dark. The Fairy was worried that she wouldn’t find the forest gift in the dark, but the Forest reassured her:

Don’t worry, beauty, these flowers themselves will show you the path in the dark.

Indeed, the darker it became, the more the amazing aroma called to the Fairy. She went straight to the smell and saw white clusters of flowers on tall thick stems flaunting. Night butterflies hover around.

The forest says to the Fairy:

Take, Fairy, orchids into your basket - the most fragrant May flowers.

The Fairy is confused and doesn’t know what to do:

    Les explains to her:

Don't worry, Fairy. These are sour sours. They are the most delicate and sensitive of all spring flowers. As soon as you touch the sour slightly, it immediately begins to wither, as if falling asleep. If you stop disturbing her, she will straighten out again.

    The Fairy asks the Forest:

How can I get such a touch-me-not into my basket?

    Les answers:

Just rip it off with your hands. Kislichka will probably be happy with the warm hands of spring, and nothing will happen to her.

The fairy did so, and the sorrel joined the other May flowers in her basket.

Soon the Fairy's basket was filled with May flowers. Such a fragrance emanated from the basket, as if all the most wonderful smells of May had merged together.

Fairy May bowed to the Forest for magical gifts, and he said:

It’s you, Fairy, who I should thank. Without you, I would not have been able to grow any of these flowers. They are all children of May. Fairy May smiled at the Forest and flew away to her sisters. The Good Forest did not even have time to get bored when the beautiful Fairy of June descended onto one of its clearings with an empty basket, which he still had to fill.
