Tiebreakers

Another variation of strategies for live tennis events, used during tiebreaks. For those who are not very familiar with tennis rules, a tiebreaker is played when the games are tied (6-6). Next, we determine the favorite, who during the match won games 40-0 or 40-15, while the opponent got them with difficulty, for example 40-30. In the event of a tiebreaker, the odds for the favorite to win will be quite high even though the probability of his winning significantly exceeds the probability of losing.

The “catch-up” strategy for live betting on tennis is very popular among most players. It involves betting a progressive amount on the same event live until it happens. A progressive amount means your bet will increase if you lose.

Using this strategy as an example, we will analyze a specific case, namely a bet on the score 15:15 in one game. The fact is that the score is 30:0 during all games of one set (6-7 games) - an extremely rare event. This means that using the same Martingale mechanism and increasing your bet by 2 times with each loss, the probability of making a profit is quite high. And you have 6-7 attempts to win, betting on 15-15 throughout the set.

Forks

The last strategy that I would like to consider is the “forks” strategy. For those who have been betting for several days now, “arbs” are a familiar thing, although they treat them differently. For the rest, “arbs” is a strategy of betting a certain amount on different outcomes of the same event in different bookmakers, provided that the odds in them differ. This strategy is widely used in other sports, but tennis is best suited for it.

For example, in bookmaker A the odds for the first player to win are 2.2. You notice that at bookmaker B the odds on the second player are 2.5. By mathematically calculating the required amount so that if you bet on the first player in office A and the second player in office B, you will get more money spent, regardless of who wins. This is the only win-win strategy in betting, but it is not so easy to find different odds in different bookmakers. At the same time, in many of them your account may be suspected of such activity and blocked.
