И бесплатно это сложная, но посильная задача. Причем очень часто у тех, кто хочет иностранный язык, спрашивают о том, зачем он вообще нужен, и как происходит обучение. Поэтому этот мы решили посвятить ответу на эти вопросы.

Learning the English Language

If one knows only one foreign language it is not enough to success nowadays. People need to know at least two foreign languages due to globalization to feel free in other countries. And the first language to learn is English.

Why is it so? The main reason is that English is globally spoken. It is also called international language. According to statistics more than one milliard people can speak English as a foreign language or as mother tongue.

For usual people it is needed to feel freely abroad. It is much more comfortable if you understand what is written in , on signs, in booklets. It also helps if you are lost in unknown city.

However, English is also the language of business. Each international contract must be translated in English, so if you don’t speak it you won’t get what conditions are in the document. It is also used during negotiations. If you want to success in international company then the ability to speak foreign language is needed. Without it your career wouldn’t grow up.

We also think that English itself is not enough nowadays. Depending on your future plans there may be also needed German, Spanish, French. By the way, experts think that Chinese is the language to be learnt after English.

Если кто-либо знает один иностранный язык, то в наши дни этого уже недостаточно для успеха. Людям нужно знать как минимум два иностранных языка вследствие глобализации, чтобы чувствовать себя свободно в других странах. И первый язык для изучения это английский.

Почему так? Главная причина состоит в том, что на английском говорят повсюду. Его также называют международным языком. По статистике свыше одного миллиарда людей могут говорить на английском как на иностранном или родном языке.

Для обычных людей он нужен для того, чтобы спокойно чувствовать себя за границей. Это намного удобнее, если вы понимаете, что написано в меню, на знаках, в буклетах. Он также помогает, если вы потерялись в неизвестном городе.

Однако английский это еще и язык бизнеса. Каждый международный контракт должен быть переведен на английский, поэтому если вы не говорите на нем – вы не поймете условия, которые содержатся в документе. Его также используют во время переговоров. Если вы хотите преуспеть в международной компании, то умение говорить на иностранном языке необходимо. Без него ваша карьера не сможет расти.

Мы также считаем, что английский сам по себе сегодня недостаточен. В зависимости от ваших будущих планов может также понадобиться немецкий, испанский, французский. Кстати, эксперты считают, что китайский это язык, который следует учить после английского.

Today’s life is all about new technologies and rapid development of other areas of life. The difference between the past and the present is obvious.

A few decades ago only few people had higher education, but today higher education is as important as school education. The same thing one can say about foreign languages. With the cultural integration and globalization our society gradually becomes international.

Who needs to know foreign languages?

Most of us learnt foreign languages at school. Today there is hardly anyone who hasn’tcome across a foreign language in their life. With the development of social networks, many of us got an opportunity to practice our knowledge online with our foreign friends.

Students in different universities study terminology not only in their native language. Employees, who are able to communicate in a foreign language, have a higher chance of going abroad on a business trip.

Why do we need to study a foreign language?

Foreign languages connect us with other cultures. Boundless opportunities open to those ones who know them.

Some dream about reading the classics in the original. Others like talking to local residents when travelling. Somebody else work hard building a multinational corporation. Whatever the reason is, the knowledge of a foreign language is a certain advantage.

Сегодняшняя жизнь – это время новых технологий и бурного развития других сфер жизни. Разница с прошлым очевидна.

Несколько десятилетий назад, образование в университете было доступно лишь немногим, сегодня высшее образование так же важно, как и школьное образование. То же самое можно сказать и об иностранных языках. С глобализацией и слиянием культур наше общество постепенно становится интернациональным.

Кому нужно знать языки?

У большинства людей знакомство с иностранными языками началось еще в школе. Сегодня трудно найти человека, который так или иначе не сталкивается с иностранными языками. С развитием социальных сетей у многих появилась возможность практиковать свои знания с друзьями-иностранцами в режиме онлайн.

Студенты различных специальностей знакомятся с терминологией не только на родном языке. Работников предприятий, способных общаться на иностранном языке, с большей вероятностью отправляют в зарубежные командировки.

Для чего нужно изучать иностранные языки?

Иностранные языки – проводник в другую культуру. Благодаря им нам открываются безграничные возможности.

Одни мечтают прочитать классиков в оригинале. Другие любят общаться с местным населением во время путешествий. Кто-то еще трудится над созданием многонациональной корпорации. Как бы там ни было, даже простое знание еще одного дополнительного языка является достоинством.

Learning a Foreign Language

Foreign languages are absolutely necessary for people nowadays, because of our growing international contacts with foreign countries.

There are many reasons, why we begin to study foreign languages. One studies a foreign language to be able to communicate with other people who speak this language, other study it for future career.

If we are planning to travel to countries where the language we can speak is spoken, we can communicate with people there and understand what they are saying to us.

If we are working in any branch of science, we naturally wish to read scientific books and magazines in other languages to raise our professional level. Making business nowadays also means the ability of speaking foreign languages.

The ability of speaking one or two or even more foreign languages helps people from different countries to develop mutual friendship and understanding. We can also make our intellectual and cultural horizons wider through contacts with people of another culture.

It is also very interesting to read foreign literature in its original form. We can also read foreign newspapers and magazines and understand films in foreign languages without any help and translation.

As for me I learn English, because English is a very popular language all over the world. It is used in many parts of the world and there is a lot of business correspondence and literature in English.

Also I am going to learn Spanish, because it is also a widely spread language.

I think, it is very important to speak at least one foreign language either English or German or French and Spanish or any other one.

There is a saying: the more languages you speak, the more times you are a human being.

Изучение иностранного языка

Иностранные языки абсолютно необходимы для людей в настоящее время из-за возрастающих международных контактов с зарубежными странами.

Имеется много причин, почему мы начинаем изучать иностранные языки. Одни изучают иностранный язык, чтобы общаться с другими людьми, которые говорят на этом языке, другие изучают его для будущей карьеры.

Если мы планируем поездку в страны, где разговаривают на языке, на котором мы можем говорить, мы можем общаться с людьми там и понимать то, что они говорят нам.

Если мы работаем в каком-нибудь научном отделе, мы, чтобы поднять наш профессиональный уровень, естественно желаем читать научные книги и журналы на других языках. Занятие бизнесом в настоящее время также означает способность общаться на иностранных языках.

Знание одного или двух или даже большего количества иностранных языков помогает людям из разных стран развивать взаимную дружбу и взаимопонимание. Посредством контактов с людьми другой культуры мы можем также развивать наш интеллектуальный и культурный потенциал.

Что касается меня, я изучаю английский язык, потому что английский язык очень популярен во всем мире. Он используется во всем мире и на английском пишется много деловой корреспонденции и литературы.

Еще я собираюсь изучать испанский, потому что это также широко распространенный язык.

Я думаю, что очень важно говорить по крайней мере на одном иностранном языке: английском или немецком, французском или испанском или любом другом.

Существует поговорка: чем на большем количестве языков вы говорите, тем больше раз вы человек.

The problem of learning languages is very important today. Foreign languages are socially demanded especially at present time when the progress in science and technology has led to an explosion of knowledge and has contributed to an overflow of information. The total knowledge of mankind is known to double every seven years. Foreign languages are needed as the main and most efficient means of information exchange of the people of our planet.

Today English is the language of the world. Over 350 million people speak it as a mother tongue. The native speakers of English live in Great Britain, the United States of America, Australia and New Zealand. English is one of the official languages in the Irish Republic, Canada, the South African Republic. As a second language it is used in the former British and US colonies.

It is the major international language for communication in such areas as science, technology, business and mass entertainment. English is one of the official languages of the United Nations Organization and other political organization. It is the language of the literature, education, modern music, international tourism.

Russia is integrating into the world community and the problem of learning English for the purpose of communication is espicially urgent today. Learning a foreing language is not as easy thing. It is a long and slow process that takes a lot of time and patience. But to know English is absolutely necessary for every educated person, for every good specialist.

It is well known that reading books in the original, listening tothe BBC news, communicating with the English speaking people will help a lot. When learning a foreign language you learn the culture and history of the native speakers. One must work hard to learn any foreignlanguage.

More and more people realize that every educated person should know a foreign language. The most popular language now is English. English is a world language. It’s the language of progressive science and technology, trade and cultural relation, commerce and business. It’s the universal language of international aviation, shipping and sports. It is also the major language of diplomacy. Hundreds and hundreds of books, magazines and newspapers are printed in English and real all over the world. 75% of the world’s mail and 60% of the world’s telephone calls are in English. Half of the world’s scientific literature is written in English too.

English is spoken by more than 350 million people. It is the official language of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland of the United States of America, of Australia and New Zealand. English is used as one of the official languages in Canada, the Republic of South Africa and the Irish Republic. It’s also spoken as second language speakers in many parts of Asia and Africa.

The number of second language speakers may soon exceed the number of native speakers. In Russia English is very popular: it is studied at schools, colleges, universities, and sometimes even at nurse schools. There are also other languages that are popular in the world. For example over 1000 million people use Chinese, the first language in the number of people who speak it, it means that out one of every five people in whole world speaks Chinese. Another popular language is Arabic, which is the official language of several Asia’s countries (Iran, Iraq, Syria, United Arab Emirates and others).

Learning a foreign language is not an easy thing. It is a long and slow process that takes a lot of time and patience. But to know languages today is absolutely necessary for everyone. I want to know foreign language because I have always been interested in foreign countries and their cultures. You know I think that who doesn’t know a foreign language, doesn’t know his own language.
